The reservation through Orbitz for a 2-room suite was not honored. Turned out the current occupant of our suite decided to stay for one month at the last moment so no space. We given compensation with two separate rooms- one king and one with two double beds. They tried as best they can to place them close together. The 2 double bed setup turned out to have a pungent smell (just finished recaulking the bathroom and finishing the popcorn ceiling). We complained and got another double that also smelled. So after one more transfer, finally got a room that was odor free. Do not bother with the gym- exercise bike is not functional. Neither is the treadmill next to it. Power on but error message every time you hit start. No central AC there in gym- just an old school wall unit. Also, no central AC in the rooms. Old hotel wall units. We slept in 77 degrees all night despite placing the thermostat at 64 degrees. They offered to change our room but we were tired of flipping rooms after the check-in debacle. Until some major renovations happen, stay somewhere else.

Staff unfriendly upon checking. Keyless checking was not working and front desk has a poor attitude until I inquired if she was “having a bad day.” I was very friendly up to that point, yet it was if I was a burden that she had to get up to assist me.
- hallway carpets, as well as our room carpet, appeared to not have been cleaned in some time.
- room was outdated; couch looked like it was from the 70’s
- a/c worked, but air seemed musty
- we asked for, and received, an early check out the next day and moved a mile down the road to Tru by Hilton Charlotte Airport, which was great - front desk was friendly, hotel was clean, modern, and 180 degrees better than the previous hotel

Kitchen floor was very sticky - last guess left food I the closet in a hooters bag - for us to dispose of - carpet is aged and dirty throughout the facility . staff was polite and friendly - breakfast had nice options

When we arrived, the man that was at the front desk acted as if we were bothering him by making him actually do work and stop texting. He did not welcome us at all, just asked our name and proceeded to check us in. He started to tell us about the breakfast times and then said he wasn't sure but he thought it was from 8-10 on the weekends. I was unsure why he didn't think to ask someone else to confirm or why he didn't already know these details and was working the front desk. The room was unimpressive. There was dark brown carpet that even though it's intention was to mask stains, still had visible red stains. The sheets and towels smelled musty and our shower curtain had a blue stain at the top. I did not get the feeling that cleanliness was a priority. I made sure to walk with shoes on the entire time. The worst part of the experience was there was a massive ceiling leak in the master bedroom that leaked all over the master bed all night which made the master bed unusable for a night. We all had to squeeze onto the sofa bed in order to not get leaked on. When the front desk was told about it, their response was that maintenance would be alerted. There was no apology nor discount offered. The best thing this property has is a good breakfast. I would not recommend this hotel nor will I visit again.

Excellent stay!!
We were totally satisfied with our hotel and experience. Nice seperate bedroom for our kids with two beds in their room. Would totally stay here again and recommend 100%!!

Property is so outdated and under my mattress was cereal. I walked in the room and immediately started itching. Had to move to another room. The furniture and carpet was filthy there was a bug in the shower. Never coming back to this property. I normally like Hilton properties very disappointed.

The rooms are not cleaned properly. There were dead bugs inside the room, the kitchen floors were sticky and the stove top was not cleaned properly. The garbage was not changed everyday although we left it out in the hallway. Housekeeping doesn’t change your sheets or towels if your not staying more than five days which is a unsanitary policy. The bed was very I comfortable and they only give you two small pillows that one person can sleep on. The pool wasn’t even open which is one of the main things we’re looking forward to for our children. I was also charged the full price of the room although I payed most of it online before my trip. This was the worst stay I’ve ever had!!

I got this for the suite and the pulled out sofa. I told the staff on check in that I was using the sofa. The person said that the bedding for it was being washed. We got back to the room and no sheets, pillows or covers for the sleep sofa. I called house keeping and was told to come down and get the bedding. This is totally unacceptable.
The breakfast was horrible.

Carpets are filthy in the hallways, the interior hallways and interior rooms smell bad.I assume this is a smoke free hotel but it doesn’t smell like it. The sofa upholstery in the hotel room is dirty. The pull out sofa bed did not come with linens on it or stored in the room. Sign said call front desk but phone wasn’t allowing that call to go through. Had to make multiple attempts to get the linen. First they didn’t have any, then what they gave me was a sheet and a thin pilled blanket that should be disposed of. This hotel only provides housekeeping for guests staying 5 days or more, only does it tues/wed/thurs by appt only. We stayed Fri/sat/sun so we had to keep going back downstairs every day to get clean towels since they were not being changed out in our room by housekeeping. Mattresses are lumpy and uncomfortable especially sofa bed. Thin, old, lumpy mattress. Could feel the slings in my back.

Aside of the smelly hallways from pot smokers and so many other critical things including safety , my door was opened for 3 days and they didn’t fix it. 3rd day I asked to be moved, Rebecca Smith hesitated at first she wouldn’t give a rats ass that just about anyone could walk into my room any given minute . The door wasn’t programmed properly to lock when I leave. They said they miss understood the issue even after they came upstairs to look at it. Than was told each day they’ll fix it the next day? All together the remaining of my experience was super sour. Front desk agent Dawn has zero cust svc skills, well if yelling at you and refusing to help than lying that in fact I was the one doing all the negative things I complained about her doing are required skills than all together this establishment is a dump. Called customer service 800 NR to sorta help sort things out yet they never listen to my concerns they called the front desk and labeled me again being the villain without once letting me state any of my concerns. Yes I recorded the call. Fast forward I’ve asked Dawn a few times to have the MGR give me a call whenever possible I also asked the cust svc rep over the phone to do the same and I was lied to . They all said the MGR doesn’t come it ‘till the next day. Yet at one point when I wakes downstairs to schedule a shuttle bus for the next day the MGR was sitting down at the front desk. I she managed to bash me ,not wanting to hear me out at all. The bus is MIAallday

My room was not that clean. There were chip crumbs left under the table area and old snack packs on the couch. I did enjoy my stay as the people working the front desk were very nice, willing to assist, and always happy. The price of the hotel was nice and location to all the places I needed to get to was nice.

The staff were friendly, but the room was very dirty, sheets were not changed and bathroom was not cleaned. Carpet had dirty all over it and kitchen had noticeable spills all down the broken dish washer.
When asked to get the room cleaned staff said there was only one on duty and was unable to clean it. We were given new sheets but we had to clean the room ourselves.
We picked this hotel because of the clean ratings but was very disappointed when we got there.

Not impressed. My room felt like it was neglected for a while. The carpet showed years of stains, the bed was too soft, the couch looked and felt dirty. Close to the airport however, about 15 minutes. Staff is nice and pleasant.

Check in was great. She was very nice, helpful, quick. She gave us extra towels right away without having to ask. She was excellent. Breakfast was decent, they had a good amount of choices. Checkout was easy. Just slide your keys in the box. The condition of the hotel was decent. Cleanliness of the room was ok. It was passable in my opinion. They do have a lot of things posted about housekeeping though. Otherwise good.

Terrible customer service. We checked in no problem. By 745am I had two men come in my room where my children were and say I wasn’t supposed to be there. I called the front desk and they said I wasn’t supposed to be there and they were going to call the cops. Come to find out the person checked us in to one room on the computer and gave us keys to a different room! No apology, no free night. Nothing!

Did not enjoy our stay at all. Our first room had a smoke detector that wouldn’t stop beeping. When I called the front desk, she didn’t know what to do and had me come to the lobby to wait 45 minutes while she fumbled getting us another room. Instead of canceling and driving down the road (we we should have done) we waited for her to find us a smaller room for the same price. The bathroom door scraped the light/fan when you opened it, the shower curtain rod was drooping and required adjusting the curtain and the shower head emitted a horrible squeak when the water was running. The linens had stains on them and smelled musty and our entire floor smelled strongly like weed. The only plus is that our room completely blocked noises of neighboring rooms (they were loud) and smells. It was a place to sleep, and was cheaper than other properties, but next time we will pay the extra few bucks a night for a better stay.

Dusty floors & loud music
The bathroom floors were so dusty! Does that mean they weren’t mopped recently? Gross. At 4am there was super loud music playing down the hall. I understand that is not 100% the hotel’s fault, but I couldn’t fall back to sleep. Beds were comfortable but coverlet had a big orange stain on the top middle. Are hotels going downhill by not cleaning rooms as often?

Everything was dirty. The furniture and carpet were stained. The glasses had lipstick marks on them. We called for bedding for the pullout and were informed they had no pillows and would have to come to the desk to pick it ourselves.

Wonderful hotel!
Absolutely love this place! My husband and I needed a place to stay for a few days while we visited our daughter in Charlotte. Love that it is like a little apartment. We will always stay here when we are in Charlotte. Very clean, wonderful breakfast and very friendly employees! We highly recommend this hotel!

Do not stay here! Place is filthy.. we check in around 3:30am .. The sheets had yellow stains.. infested with Bed bugs had to get another hotel. Front desk rude, would not refund said because we booked through a third party.. I can not believe Hilton name is on such a place..

Absolutely horrible. I had a reservation and was not able to get a clean room until after 7pm for check in. The rooms were dirty, no soap available and only 2 towels for 3 guests. When I asked for more towels and an extra blanket they said they didn't have any. Breakfast was supposed to be included, but by the time I got down there at 830am, all the food was gone. No one re stocked, and multiple guests were angry. It was dirty, lack of amenities and I will never be back. I want a refund.

Property is pet friendly and had a doggie area to the rear of the building. 1st floor carpet needs good shampoo cleaning or replacement but overall property is very quiet and so is the surrounding area. Airport is not far away but I didn’t hear the air traffic until I walked outside room pretty quiet. I went to the NFL preseason game and stadium is easy to get to from the hotel.

The front desk staff was very nice. However, beyond that the stay was iffy. Apparently the hotel didn’t receive their soap shipment, so literally we had no soap to wash our hands. I’ve never thought I needed to bring my own hand soap to a hotel. It’s unfortunate, but you can just tell there isn’t enough help. The folks who are there are doing the best they can with what they’ve got, but things just felt and smelled musty and in need of a deep clean.

Was an ok stay and loved the hotel, but the cleaning of the rooms were poorly done. The tub was dirty had a ring of dirt going around it. The fridge was messy inside not cleaned out. The table in living room covered up crumbs of food that was left and not vacuum and room smelled.

I had a mobility assistance handicap room. It was not for the handicap at all. Very low to the ground toilet with no bar at the toilet. room was very very small. There was no pool. And the smart TV was not smart at all. No pay-per-view movies, no DVD player, no Netflix no Hulu.no smart tv. Lots of money for nothing.

Very good hotel
The hotel was excellent and very comfortable. I like the separate living room area and the ceiling fan in the bedroom. I would suggest offering the "starter" bag of ice when checking in since the I've maker isn't usually left on in the freezer.

Horrible. Pet friendly apparently means not vacuuming the hallways and letting pieces of kibble stay on the floor for four days!
Do you want to have your room done up? Be sure to let them know the day before you want it done, which they don't tell you.
The suites have working stoves which guests are free to cook smelly fish on in the middle of the evening to make it hard to fall asleep without it smelling like a clam bake in your room.
Need a pillow? Or a full set of sheets for the pullout couch? Oh, sorry, they're fresh out.
One of the worst places I've ever spent a night.

Disgusting!! The hotel smells like stale cigarettes and marijuana. The carpets are dirty and dingy. The mattress had stains all over it. When I complained, I had to still pay for the night even though I didn’t stay. Left right away, would not sleep there if you paid me! Absolutely horrible!

I’ve stayed at many HWS locations and they have all been great except this one. While the customer service was great, the room was very dirty. The chairs were full of stains. The carpet was disgusting. I was surprised at the conditions because I’ve always enjoyed my stay. Housekeeping didn’t come at all. 10 mins into my stay I had to call for the sheets to be changed because they put the wrong sized sheets on the bed. We also had to call for an iron because it was broken. I will give HWS another shot, but not this location.

The A/C was broken our second night and the place was booked, so we couldn't move. They did provide a fan, which was helpful, and promised to discount the room. The next morning,there was no notation noted downstairs, but they promised to rectify the situation. We will see. Otherwise, it was a good trip.

I arrived and the woman behind the counter was chewing food and greeted me with, “what’s the last 4 of your credit card” when I answered she handed me my key still eating. When I asked about the airport shuttle, the reason I booked the room, she said, “I don’t know anything about it. I’ve only been here 2 weeks and I’ve never seen it” as I walked away upset she yelled maybe come down at 7 am and see if it’s here. Needless to say I made other arrangements. Got to the room and it was disgusting. The floor looked gross I wore socks out of the shower and would not sit on the couch. The oven was completely filthy on the outside. Worse stay!!

The front desk staff was very helpful and friendly! They were prompt to answer questions and even schedule a taxi service for my early morning next day flight. The people were great!
The only disappointment I had was the cleanliness - the room looked clean, but there was hair in the shower that was definitely not mine, so I'm not sure how thorough their "clean stay" regiments are. Overall, it was fine for a night and met my needs as a place to stay.

The hotel never answered its phone. I needed a shuttle to the hotel or cancel my reservation but no one ever answered the phone. There were so many people at the airport due to storms and late flight arrivals I couldn’t get to the hotel. I arrived at midnight and tried to get a taxi/uber/lyft until resigning at 0200. I never saw this hotel but I paid for it. Unable to cancel my reservation or get transportation there, slept in the airport with a few thousand other travelers all stranded and unable to leave the airport. My next flight was at 0800 so I sat in a chair from 1200-0800 and got on my flight and left Charlotte without ever leaving the airport.

Check in was super easy and front desk clerk was very nice. Room was spacious and clean. Only negative for me was that the airport shuttle hours listed on Expedia are 5am-11pm but those are NOT the actual hours; actual hours are 7am-10pm which was pretty inconvenient since I needed a ride at 5:45am. I ended up having to pay for a ride to the airport which I hadn’t anticipated. Just something to keep in mind if you have an early morning flight.

Front desk couldn’t even tell us what time breakfast started. And we requested a shuttle to the airport for 7am; however, they couldn’t locate the vans keys so we left 30mins late. Which in return made us miss our international flight to Turks and Caicos 🙁

Horrible experience at this hotel. Last night we had no sheets for our pull out and dirty sheets on the king. Called the front and they told us they had no sheets available... the worst part of the entire stay was we confirmed at check-in 2-3 times the shuttle was available for our trip to the airport in the morning, wake up the next day tonfigurenoit the shuttle doesn’t run until 7.... No help finding us a ride, no ubers or lyfts. Ended up flagging down a neighboring hotels shuttle to get us to the airport and ultimately missing our flight. Horrible service, horrible hotel, definitely do not recommend.

I love coming to this hotel. But this stay was different. The room was clean. What i have a problem with is the fact thatthe fitted sheet that was on my bed had a pee pee stain on it. I didn't se itt tol the next morning when i got up. It was late when I got in bed I was exhausted. So that morning I went downstairs and told them about the stain they said they would change it but when i got back at 9pm it was not changed. They didn't even enter my room at all. I was very disappointed. They are usually very good at pleasing there customers this time they didn't do that at all.

Surrounded by landscaping and greenery in a 360 degrees kind of in middle of nowhere, quick walk to a couple gas stations and subway, shuttle driver will take you wherever you need to go... excellent professional service
