We made an impromptu decision to go to Marco Island. This resort was amazing in spite of the storm that blew in. Was a very nice stay!

Great hotel and would have given them 5 stars except for:
1. Room was not ready until past 5pm and I had to insist for late check out in return… didn’t really use it as it was not part of our plan.
2. When they say “Partial Ocean View” it could mean from the back of the hotel by the parking lot. That’s what we got.
3. This was for our 20 year wedding anniversary (we had stayed at the same hotel for our honeymoon) and were monitoring the price for several months. Finally caved in a week before and paid $500 for 1 night (non-refundable). We received an email the day before offering half off for the same night on an “Ocean View” room and they wouldn’t let us take it. I don’t think we will ever go back, even though it was a special place for us.

Not worth the cost. Elevators and a bar area were not clean. Room wasn’t clean, curtains very dirty, and a lamp shade was dirty. This hotel is not better than average and should be rated as such. Most definitely not a 4.2 star hotel.

Perfection
A late booking due to delays going home and we picked the perfect place!
The room was a King Suite with an ocean view - the views were stunning!
The check in was efficient, informative and friendly - all the staff made us feel welcome and comfortable.
We had a relaxed dinner at 560 and breakfast at the market overlooking the beach - perfect,
The hotel had all the amenities we required and would accommodate all age groups - will definitely return with the family.

Lovely room. Beautiful beach. LOUD group in room next door that kept us awake from 2:30-4:30 AM.
Be prepared for additional fees: $35/day parking, $35/day resort fee plus additional taxes

Really bad experience.
The check inn was bad because was really difficult to understand everything.
The parking is not free.
The breakfast very bad and if you want a cup of tea you have to pay separately.
The check out was at 11.00 and when you ask for a late check out you have to pay 50 bucks for just one hour.
Really expensive hotel for the quality.

Good location right on pretty beach and with good restaurants across the road. The hotel was clean but staff service occasionally lacking- the cleaning ladies chatting more and do not refill shampoos or conditioners. The pool service for food or drinks seemed none existant and you had to go stand in line at bar to order and bring your own….so the $35 resort fee seemed steep with the fee services provided.

Front desk was unfriendly and rude. Concierge was super nice!
Rooms don’t have a microwave, not enough towels, sheets and covers were missing for pull out.
Other than that access to beach was perfect and people at the market were very nice. Spa and fitness center great!

Truth be told, would have been 5 stars for me but the hotel decided to price gouge on SELF parking ($35/night) and then an extra “Resort Fee” for $35/day which covers “Free Coffee” and “Free beach chair and umbrella”. Well, if I’m paying for it, how is it free? They give you a piece of paper when you check in that has the location and times of amenities that conveniently has the “Resort Fee” down towards the bottom of the page. It’s an extra $70/day total! It’s not a lot but definitely gouging. Oh not to mention there’s a “Resort Fee Tax” on top of regular tax lol give me a break.
Secondly, the breakfast buffet is nice and tastes great but $32/person!? It was NOT that good to charge $32.
Third, way overpriced on drinks and food at the pool.
Overall, the hotel was nice. Nice beach area. Nice pool/deck. Staff was all super friendly and helpful. I would recommend, just be aware of all of the extra fees associated with it. I personally would have much rather stayed at the JW Marriott and paid more per night but the hidden fees are less and less for VALET parking as well plus a more ritzy hotel.
Buyer beware.

It was a very nice experience all around.
Areas for improvement:
- the litter alongside the walkway to the beach
- our right side sink was clogged and un-usable
- our dresser was a bit scratched/discolored...not befitting a Hilton
- The buffet breakfast was bountiful....but most food was cold very quickly (and the bread/bagel toaster took forever and had to run through twice)

I normally leave great reviews on the places I visit. However, this is one of the times I can’t. I was very disappointed with the assigned room as I purchased an ocean view king room just to get a king partial ocean view. Even after requesting that the reservationist please confirm that I have a panoramic view of the ocean. My room was more to the front side of the ocean. Therefore, I never received the room I paid for.
In addition, the bed in this room was horrible. Not only did I not only have a difficult time sleeping so did my fiancée. We both woke up with terrible back pain’s through our tossing and turning sleepless night. The bed was very uncomfortable. So, the very short trip planned, turned out to be a disaster.

Very disappointed, checking out the extra fees, not disclosed at check in. Feel like you are being nickel and dimed everywhere you turn. Parking $35.00 a day. Resort fee of $35.00 /day. I’m OK with fees as long as they are disclosed to me at checkin not a surprise at checkout.For an extra $70,00 - $100.00 extra in fees I may have chose somewhere else stay.

Nice facility , very nice ,,,,,, but didnt like a wedding with loud DJ in the garden area ,,, had to turn TV up loud to drown out the bass from the DJ ,,,,,, after a day at the beach , just wanted to relax in room ,,,,,,,, other than that everything was great

Great location on the beach! The pool was warm and clean. The only complaint I had was the shower soap was out in our bathroom and only two bath towels for a family of 4. They brought those up promptly though. The Hilton standard queen size beds seemed smaller than my daughters queen size bed at home.

The Marco Island Hilton is a beautiful property. The staff is friendly and inviting. It is right on the beach and has a lovely pool area. I highly recommend this Hotel and will definitely be back.

The hotel over was nice and clean. They lady at the front desk never gave me my towel tickets. Also the bed felt old and not very confortable. Which is rare for a Hilton stay. I woke up with horrible back pain.

This is the 2nd time we stayed at this hotel. The first time we had a great room with a pool/ocean view. This time we were put in a "garden" view which was basically looking at a bush. We asked to be moved and they accommodated us the best they could because they said they were sold out. We got a slightly better view of the portico. While that is was it was, the room we got was not as clean as before. The lamp shade had mildew buildup and the bathroom cabinets and counter were not wiped clean, and the air conditioner leaked. There were a few decorative pictures missing in the hallway with just the hooks exposed. The hotel just looked a little more worn than the last time we were there. The pool area was good and Rory did his best to keep it fun. "Lunch" served at the pool was expensive for what you got. A hot dog with nothing else (no chips, etc.) was 7 dollars. The music was fun and the pool was clean. No problem finding a chair/umbrella. Location is great and walkable to most everywhere.

Nice, clean resort. What you would expect from Hilton. Convenient to dinning options. However, parking is over priced and you really have no option but to pay it. Beware by booking thru a third party like Expedia your loyalty status means nothing to Hilton and you get none of the benefits you expect as a loyal customer to their brand.

Facts of Life…Resort Fee = Junk Fee
They clip you on parking. They clip you on resort fees. Such is life. Having said that the Marco Island resort was the best property we stayed during our road-trip around Florida’s peninsula. The bed was luxe, the room quiet and the facility ticked all the boxes.

For the price, rooms are sparse and mediocre. Ridiculous high $ for parking.
Complimentary coffee only offered from 7 am to 9am is a joke. Overall vibe of greed and stinginess on part of the Hilton company at this location, but on the reverse, the staff were all very professional, friendly and accommodating.
Unfortunately I would not recommend this place.

Excellent stay. The only issue was at the hotel store the clerk was rude and instead of helping guests she doesn’t. We were buying something paying cash and all she said was I don’t have change. Went to the lobby with no problem was provided with change. Some employees care more than others as we all know.

The super friendly and informative young lady that checked me in, told me that my room had been upgraded - great news! The room was not very clean at all. Shower is nice and large but has one of the most disappointing shower heads ever. Once I really starting looking around the room, I realized how dingy and old everything was - from the carpet to the lamp shades. All in all the staff was wonderful, the room not so much. And they charged $30/night to park. I thought that was pretty crappy considering the cost of the rooms.
