Disappointing as of late. This hotel has always been our got to place for many years. Last 3 visits have been sub-par. For the prices charged, at a minimum I expect clean conditions and a helpful staff. Will be looking at other hotels next time around.

The room and facilities were a little worn. Needs an update. Suite doors didn't close, bathroom lock missing, shampoo containers partially installed. Just needs an all around refresh! But staff was super nice and helpful.

Nasty once we got to the room dishwasher had dirty dishes , blood on rug and sheets ,dirty shower curtain. Called to change room and they said they changed my room 3 times which was a lie but it’s whatever I will never go back there.

The smell in the hallways and rooms was really disgusting. People were constantly cooking in the rooms some kind of seafood.
The chairs, coach and carpets were very dirty. In fact, there was a big red stain on the carpet next to the bed.

Needs attention and updating.
We arrived at the hotel ahead of check-in and the front desk found a room that was available. That was where the positive experience ended. We booked a King suit with a kitchenette. There was a broken cabinet door and food splatter on stove's back splash. Both upholstered dinette chairs were heavily stained. The sofa bed's mattress had a huge stain on it and did not have a mattress cover. The spare blanket appeared old and worn and not freshly laundered and they only provided one extra pillow for the sofa bed. I expected a little more for over $300/night.

Housekeeping needs to do better!
The carpet is very dated and dirty. The floors were disgusting, especially by the elevators and hallway carpets seemed never vacuumed. The place just needs some attention. Even the grounds had trash and hadn’t been well kept. Housekeeping was not good…

Disappointed
I chose to stay here because of it's location to Boston and the Franklin Zoo. We only needed one night. Unfortunately, the pool was closed because of water testing from prior in the day. Also the water in the shower never reached a beyond tepid or even warm level to accommodate a shower. I chose to just wash my hair under the tub faucet because that's all I could stand. It was freezing to the touch. So, to not have pool access with the kids and a freezing shower at almost 250 a night I'm disappointed.

I would like to start by saying that the room was perfect. We were missing some items from the kitchen but in reality we didn’t use kitchen as expected. What I will give thumbs down is the many refugies that we’re staying in there. The smell of fish and spices were overwhelming. And for the price we as guest have to pay it’s very disappointing. That second floor was full of refugees and was very smelly up there. Anything else was wonderful. Breakfast was very ni e and fresh my room was just amazing.

Proximity was good. Water was dirty and I was given excuses and no apology. There were families living in the hotel and many times there were certain items that were taken and there were no additional items available to other guests. I would not stay there again.

When we checked in, the front desk staff seemed ambivalent to welcoming us. There was a smoke/ fire incident in one room , and the staff appeared to keep on going, no evacuation, no urgency, even telling guests we could go back to our rooms before the fire department arrived. Our bathroom sink was extremely slow to drain in one room, and the same with the tub in the other room we had.
Those are not items to overlook. Disappointing. Will not stay there again.

Rooms were spacious and staff very friendly, accomodating and helpful. Pool was perfect for kids. Perfect spot for overnight stay.
My only complaint was that housekeeping had not emptied the dishwasher from the prior guest. So the cabinets were empty and we thought there were no dishes or glasses until my son happened to open the dishwasher the morning we checked out.

I honestly would have given this hotel 5 stars if it wasn’t for the absolute putrid smell inside the hallways and rooms. It was a good location, nice staff, nice pool, decent breakfast and the rooms were decently cleaned and they LOOKED nice but the smell was absolutely unacceptable I can’t believe they would even let people stay in a place that smelled like that. I know it’s tempting to ignore the bad reviews and be hopeful about the good ones but please don’t take the chance on this one, it was not worth it to save a few $$ having to stay under these conditions. I’m not even a hotel snob I am very laid back about a lot of things but this was just unacceptable.

I likes our room! It was great had a kitchen, dishes, and everything you needed. The staff were amazing, everything we asked for an example extra blankets and towels, they gave it to us. And breakfast was different everyday and we stayed for a week. One thing that I could say is a couple days the water to shower was not bathing hot, so we called down and they said something happened to the boiler, and it took a couple days before they fixed it! Besides that it was great!

Homewood Billerica could have been better.
Overall it wasn’t the best stay I have had. I have stayed at other Homewood Suites before and have been pleased. There were a few things I was disappointed with during this stay. First, the room had an unappealing smell. The best way to describe it would be that perhaps someone had smoked in it at some point (It is a smoke free hotel). The carpet had some stains. Lastly, the water in the shower never got hot. Sometimes it was Luke warm, other times it was cold. I asked to have the water looked into, but the hotel must have been short staffed. The day I asked about having someone look at, there were no maintenance people available. On a positive note, The staff was friendly during interactions and the hotel was in a nice location.

On our second night, the AC went out in our room. We called the front desk and they advised maintenance would come in the morning to fix it. So the next day we got ready and left for the day. When we returned to our room, the AC still had not been fixed. When my husband inquired with the front desk, turns out the order for maintenance was never put in. So we our nights were not pleasant.

We enjoyed our stay here. Having the Hilton app and being able to check in and out through it and use the digital key in it for our room was great! You have to turn your id into the front desk in order to get a pool key which was a little inconvenient. I’m not sure why that was, but we still did it a couple times. The pool was warm enough for our young kids to swim happily and there was a warm shower that could be used right there to rinse off. The breakfast was fantastic and they change the main courses daily which is nice.

The employees were mostly very pleasant. Breakfast was very disappointing.
The fitted sheet did not fit the mattress so it came off as soon as you get in the bed.
After the second night I asked if my room could be cleaned and change the fitted sheet. They told me that they had no body to clean, and they need a 24 hour notice from me.
I asked them to at least put a fitted sheet that fits the mattress.
They did change the sheet and emptied the trash.

We had a great stay at this location, my kids loved using the pool, breakfast had lots of option, and the staff were nice. The only issue I had was our room wasn’t completely clean, there was trash under a couple of beds that my kids found while playing and there were a few hairs in the shower from the previous stay. The staff did offer to send someone up to clean but we’d been traveling all day and my kids were already in the room so we took care of it ourselves. Overall we had a great stay and would stay again.

We enjoyed the area of this property. It was a peaceful out of the way location. Not many dining options though. Staff was pretty neutral. Not particularly friendly.
We stayed here twice before and after a vacation where we flew out of Logan. Our first room looked great and was nice and clean, but had no working temperature controls so we all got too hot.
Our second room the temperature controls worked, but the room was grungy and there were lots of stains and wear in the room.

The staff was definitely friendly. Everyone was very nice whenever you had a question. What I didn’t like was the fact of how dusty and dirty certain parts of the room were. You could clearly tell what was cleaned where the high traffic areas. But areas like behind the bed, the space on top of the sink and the moldings on the floor of the bathroom were dusty and greasy. Definitely not cleaned in months. The fabric on the chairs and couches were dirty and stained. These types of things I definitely did not expect from anything affiliated with the Hilton. It does have potential, but it definitely needs to be cleaned better. Especially for the price that I paid for my stay. What I paid for my reservation at that hotel is definitely overpriced for the type of room that I got.

it was clean and comfortable inside and out. Didn’t like that there was what sounded like a shooting range nearby w/pop-pop-pop going on all day; that breakfast on weekend disorganized, but most importantly disappointed in pool. First there was always a sign on door that said closed for first two of four days we stayed there. Front desk said maybe they’d open pool next day when I asked. By 3rd day pool was open … it was very small and it was dirty … gobs of hair floating in it, water murky. Very disappointed. Had chosen the hotel specifically for the pool. Only used it once, wasn’t worthwhile or clean to use.

Staff was super nice and helpful. A good breakfast to start the day. A safe location. The hotel needs updating. Everything worked but dated. The toilet was crooked. The toilet handle worked but had pieces cracked off. The hallways smelled too. But gym and pool were open to guests. Overall a good stay and hopefully they update some of the rooms soon.

Very Friendly staff. Clean rooms and the breakfast was good. Great location, there are a lot of restaurants nearby. Also despite a lot of kids at the hotel that we’re playing in a tournament of some sort it was really quiet. We definitely would stay there again.

this property was a bit odd and outdated. I understand it is an extended stay but it had an ad-hock "shelter or halfway house vibe" ( the man in the breakfast area with the disheveled look and two layers of grippy hospital socks and no shoes at breakfast.) it made me feel bad for the people, but also that I paid full price, to be honest.
I'm a bleeding heart though and I could have gotten over that but then the entire floor stunk of fish. like you could smell and taste it. and there was no hot water in the shower, lukewarm at best. it was disappointing traveling far for a funeral and not getting to take a hot shower and then the smell. it wasn't great I wouldn't go back.

This is the best suite we have ever had. We travel as a family and this was the first time we had room to breathe and enjoy cards. It had everything anyone needed and if not it was supplied free. We had no housekeeping but it wasn’t needed until we left. Two things I might change is have enough supplies in a suite upon arrival for more than 2 and warm up the room the pool is in. It was those minor issues that were overlooked because of all the positive. Stay here you will not be disappointed.

I loved the location of the property. I loved the trees around it making it private. I did not like that our room was not ready when we arrived, so we had to wait an hour to get our room. I also didn't like that the breakfast was not warm or didn't offer options. It was very basic options. During our trip we did stay at another hotel that offered breakfast and that breakfast was much better.

Common spaces are not the cleanest, carpets and elavator are dirty. Carpet in room was stained, kitchen are floor sticky and edge of carpet near door had small pieces of dirt that were not vacuumed.
Although there were plenty of dishes, cups and glasses in kitchen area, there were only two large pots. Refrigerator was clean. Toileted needed to be cleaned better.

We paid nearly $2,000.00 for a suite for 6 days. The room and funishings were very worn and the carpet was quite dirty. Both bathtubs were dirty. I asked for cleaning items to clean them myself, I was told housekeeping would attend to it, but they never did. We did not have housekeeping for the entire stay. I am sorry to say that this Hilton property does not live up to the Hilton reputation. It was a very disappointing visit.

We stood in one of the suites and it was great. Good parking, accesable to other towns near by, loved the fact that included breakfast and had a laundry room, the staff were great and very helpful. Overall, very pleased with our stay. Would recommend to anyone. Definetly won't be our last.

This hotel is on the older side. Seems like it needs a renovation. My first room had a horrible odor coming from the sink so we switched rooms. The second room dishwasher wasn’t working properly so the water wasn’t draining. Wish they provided filtered water somewhere (gym area would be great). Breakfast seemed limited but did the job. Overall an OK hotel. Would I return? For a cheap price, yes. For a nicer hotel around the same price, no.

The front desk staff was rude when checking in. Called and asked for an extra pillow thay we had to come to the desk to pick up and it was the poorest excuse for a pillow, more like a peice of cardboard in a pillow case. Also it was apparently the only pillow left in the hotel. Our bathroom ceiling was very moldy. The door lock was broken on the bathroom. The hallway floor were absolutely disgusting near the lobby bathrooms. Overall not the greatest place to stay for the price. Very disappointing.

Amazing room!!
It was amazing because the desk clerk upgraded us from a one bedroom suite to a two bedroom suite. We were traveling with our two grandsons so it was really great to have the extra beds!!

After reading other reviews i was a little scared about staying at this hotel but i was pleasantly surprised. The rooms are big which is awesome for a family. Lots of dishes to use also all kept in the dishwasher. The microwave was pretty dirty on the inside. There was trash in the hallways but all hotels are like this now . No daily housekeeping while staying so ppl put the trash outside their door . The bed was very comfy. The room had a ceiling fan in the bedroom that was a nice surprise. I would stay here again. Morning breakfast was good and free!
