Bad stay
I think that they had sprayed the tub and shower stall with some kind of coating, about half was all peeled off. The vent in the bathroom was hanging down and the trim boards were broken and need painted. The mattress was very hard, even for my husband who likes a firm mattress.

Charge $50 blaming I took the bed covers of all things!?? Like Amazon doesn’t have thousands of bed covers for less and they would be clean! Do not stay at this hole in the wall, my mistake to do so, hope to save u from it!

This hotel was the dirtiest I’ve ever stayed at. Burn holes in the sheets. Water damage so bad in bathroom the ceiling was falling down. Mold everywhere. TV was not clear. Floors were disgusting. My socks were black after 10 minutes of walking around. Towels were stained and toilet made funny noises after being flushed. This place should be demolished.

Nightmare Motel
Well was over charged for the room the bath tub there was no way I was getting into it said they didn’t have the room I reserved and supposedly upgrade and charged me for it never asked how our stay was needless to say no fridge no microwave in room had to go down by the office and use one. Needless to say the second floor walk way had loose board sketchy and hazardous so I just stayed in my room till morning. Oh and the light switch was broke in shower area but another switch would turn on all lights in the sink and toilet area but it lite up the whole room instead of just bathroom

This place is falling apart. The deadbolt on our door was broken and felt unsafe. There were holes in the curtains and bed spread. The motel doesn’t provide a thing for you except towels and a tiny bar of soap…no shampoo or conditioner, which makes sense because the shower didn’t work. The overhead lights in the room were missing bulbs. The bathroom had pieces of plaster crumbling around the ground and it looked like a animal scratched up the door. Nothing about this place was good. I guess there were no bed bugs, so I’ll give them that. Tear this place down.

The hotel is a great deal. Will you dream about race cars because it’s right near the interstate? Yes but it’s right by everything. Did my hotel room door look like someone was being held against their will? Yes but there was no one in the room so they must of gotten out. Are the wall colors something that you would pick as a 13 year old girl? Yes but who doesn’t love a pop of color. Will the bathroom fan randomly turn on by itself all night? Yes but how exciting is it that there is possibly a ghost in the room, fun!
Honestly, it’s a great price, near everything and I felt perfectly safe staying there as a solo woman traveler.

Do NOT Stay here
We did not stay in this motel. It was disgusting. There was vomit on the side walk outside our door. The lock on the door to outside was broke. The room was broken down and dirty. It smelt like pot. The window was broken. I took my family and went to another hotel. I do NOT recommend this place at all.

Not able to sleep.
Door to the room looked like it had been kicked in a few times. People knocking on our door all night. There were people fighting and yelling and banging on their door most of the night. Staff did nothing. The place looked like a slum.

We checked in, went to our room and immediately left as soon as we saw what the room was like. This is a roach motel. Dirty, in need of updating, paint, piping in the bathroom is exposed, every channel on the tv has black and white scratching thru it and no volume. An active police arrest of some sort was happening on the first floor. We immediately went to get a refund and the clerk refused and also refused to get the manager in the phone or in person. I called the bank to stop payment on the debit and found out that they charged and extra payment if 50.00 on top of the payment for the room. DO NOT STAY HERE and if you decide to stay here, check for bed bugs before you lay in the bed!

Didn't like the way they were charging for fees that weren't there when I booked thru Expedia
Also when I checked out Security Guard checked my room and gave me my $50 but the owner took $1.53 service fee then 7.00 for extra person I told the Security officer that and he gave me $40 my deposit
Then they owner took $50 off my debit card cause she said it like urine.Also dog hair on the floor
I had swept up dog hair the day before
When I finally got to check in it was after 4 pm I had to track down the only housekeeper the motel had to clean the room on the bottom floor I did request bottom floor
Then the floors were wet.
They can't keep help I see way
Also didn't sleep well cause of the the noise in the room above me

They tooky $50 deposit said it smelt like urine but the Security guard checked the room and said it was ok.
They did take another $10 of the deposit.I paid cash for the deposit.They took $50 more from my friend who paid for the room.They had his debit card number.
I will stay there again
Also couldn't sleep cause of the people in the room above us.

A real Dump
Filthy run down hotel. Furniture falling apart holes in the walls lights did not work bedding was dirty and no one had swept in awhile. We were there for 3 days and got no clean towels-no one emptied the trash

Bathing in the darkness
This is your basic hotel, wasn’t expecting much other than a bed and shower. The bed was fine, firm, not uncomfortable but the shower was a different story. There were no lights, absolute darkness. I turned my phone flashlight on but that provided minimal assistance.

I feel like these owners are very very fraudulent individuals who make their property look like it's sold out when there's nobody actually there in fact because they wanted to have you pay with cash tax you more money than the actual amount that you're supposed to pay to stay there so they don't have to pay taxes because every day you have to pay with cash so you're unable to get any rewards points for excessive amounts of money you're wasting there staying there and on top of that they're very nosy

Was a little sketchy. As soon as I got there 3 people ran up and were hiding in the stair well. Later the police were around.
Had very loud neighbors and you could hear the conversation through the walls.

I have stayed at many Motel 6 and have not been disappointed. I don’t expect the Ritz Carlton. But This was by far the most disgusting place I have ever stayed at. The motel 6 company should check out how awful this place is and they would agree that this place is not up to their par. I ended up leaving and got a hotel next door and took 2 showers and still felt dirty from just walking into this place.

Unsanitary at best. And the TV doesn't work.
This Motel has the nerve to charge a $50 deposit without offering a walk through first.They don't mention it until you check in and have already paid for the room.On top of that, I Feel like I need to book a doctor's visit after staying at this absolutely disgusting motel. Hard wood floors are sticky. Sheets and blankets were dirty. Non-smoking room smelled like a mix of low quality weed and rancid meat. Blood stains from the previous guest popping pimples on the bathroom mirror and the wall next to it.Light switch didn't work in the bathroom and the TV didn't work either. When I checked out the next morning I told them they need to give me my deposit back because the light switch and tv were broke before I checked in and they responded by telling me they were aware of the TV and the light switch and I wouldn't be charged.So they rented me a room knowing and not caring that the TV and light switch didn't work. But hey, at least they didn't keep my deposit since they already knew they were broke. This place isn't even a joke it's a complete disgrace.

The room was not as nice as the pictures. The 2 men i delt with at check in were creepy and made me feel uncomfortable. The chain lock on the door of the room was broken, the room was crap!

Details of Cleanliness are important you say. Do stay at this Motel 6, it's disgusting. Large cobwebs/Spider web in the upper corner inside the door, chipped, cracking, mildew stained wall around door, window frames. Same in the bathroom with shower curtain mounts and plastic baseboard. Mattress was firm, but sheet might have been clean but some residual staining. We definitely check for bed bugs. It's free of those. Thank goodness the floor is laminate, I can't imagine what it would look like if it were carpeted. After a 14 hr drive and being beet tired it's an easy sleep no matter the condition. We are on a budget constraint and I went cheap. I guess you get what you pay for. I stayed in 6's before but nothing like this nasty place.

I found bugs in my bed and management barely cared. At first, they outright said "there aren't any bugs" then I provided evidence of the bugs and I was told "oh well that kind won't hurt you" and "they live on the trees outside and we can't do anything to get them out." Absolutely gross and dismissive, don't stay here

Quantity vs. Quality
The hotel was decent if you are just staying overnight from driving. The room were decent and cleaned, but I was unable to use the sink due to a huge leak in the pipes. When I checked in the clerk stated the $50 refundable deposit. I payed in cash so that i was able to receive it back at check out. At check out the clerk told me that after he check the room he would give me my deposit back. He checked the room and then came back told me that before I can get my deposit I will haveto wait until 7 am when the General manager arrives. He called the manager on the phone to get my deposit refund approved. The clerk then stated that there were towels missing. I stated because of the leak we used all the towels to clean water off the floor. The clerk refused to honor their policy by refunding my deposit after their was nothing wrong with the room. My suggestion is spend the extra $30 and stay somewhere else. This place is only focused on quantity and not quality.

No hot water in the shower. Bed so dirty, kids and I wouldn't sit there or even lay clothes on it AC unit filled the room with mold smell.
Receptionist didn't speak English/ didn't think twice when we checked out after two hours.
Other guests made us feel unsafe.

The walls are paper thin. There were at least 3 cockroaches as soon as we walked into our room, there was a cigarette butt on the floor of the room (I got a smoking room, but there wasn'teven an ashtray in the room), the bed linens were all filthy, the table had giant carvings from past guests carved into it. The walls are cracked and peeling, as well as nearly every surface in the bathroom. My family and I had been driving for 20 hours straight and just wanted to sleep somewhere that wasn't the car, but I seriously considered just staying up all night because I didn't want to sleep in the bed. I checked both beds in our room for bed bugs just in case; there weren't any that I could see, but the fact that I felt I had to check is a negative to me. And then, there was a $50 deposit, after us already paid for the room, that I was told I will get back after 3-5 days since i paid with a card, which is fine, but if I don't get it back because the room was already filthy when it was assigned to me, and I paid a total of around $120 to have cockroaches and filthy bed linens, I will be incredibly ticked off more so than I already am with this establishment.

Outdated but overall nice
At first we were very hesitant about checking in because the outside is very outdated. The office area is very small and honestly very sketchy. The service cell was very well. After we got checked in and went to our room, the key to our door would not work and after we got a hold of the gentleman at the front office window he came to our room and stated that our door runs on a battery and must be dead and after about 20 minutes or so he upgraded our room from a one king bed to a double king bed. The room was very clean and smelled nice just the overall hotel all together is very outdated.

Horrible place
I won’t recommend this place ever, the room was filthy, the receptionist was unprofessional and didn’t portray a decent image.
Room stunk to marihuana, towels were stained and ripped. The door didn’t give a sense of security at all.
This place was definitely the worst I ever stayed in.

The owners would not allow us to book for another night even with full amount paid and online reservations made prior. No answer was given as to why we could not extend. On a good yet confusing note, our deposit was refunded in full which indicates no damage or anything of that nature occured to our room during our stay which is accurate. Overall very stressful having to move hotels even with plenty of vacancy and insisting on paying for another night. The owners create a huge communication barrier and it makes it difficult. We do however wish them luck, they need it.

Do not stay here!!This hotel shouldn't even be offered through Expedia!!The police,that I had to call to get my cash deposit back, informed us we should never be on that side of the interstate!! First thing,the floor of the room was like a movie theater,it was sticky??This hotel was literally falling apart around us. I have several pictures.The $50. deposit you pay,is for 7 towels.That's it, nothing else in the room.No coffee pot.No fridge.A landline phone that wasn't connected,not even to the front desk.The lobby microwave had food splattered in it,I could have vomitted!There was no way I was putting my mother's dinner in that filth!The sheets were ripped in more than one place.There were holes in the tub, several.The threshold to the bathroom was severely splintered.Because the threshold was uneven.My 80 year old mother stubbed her toe & hurt herself.The bathroom counter was filthy.I would have complained about the travelers in the next room screaming in the morning,but when I tried to take a shower I understood why they were screaming!The water fluctuated from scalding hot, steam & all,to ice cold?The bathtub was full of holes.The walls & floorboards are decaying through.In my pictures,I was trying to show the condition of the walls but ended up catching the side of the toilet.It would be my guess that the side of this toilet has never been cleaned?Towels were filthy.They said I did it to get a refund??Then I had to call the police,that's when they told us,NEVER stay here!

I reserved a king room. Upon arrival the clerk tells me that he moved my room to a double queen. He tried to make it sound like he upgraded me.
The entire floor in the room he gave me was sticky. The overhead lights in the room were on a timer, so they wouldn’t stay on longer than 7-10 minutes. The remote didn’t work for the TV. There were cigarette burns all over the beds. The room door didn’t even shut all the way closed.
This was the worst. As if changing my reservation wasn’t bad enough, the fact that the place was a dump didn’t help. The parking lot had trash and broken glass all over it. Very disappointed and I will never stay here again.

The property seemed in disrepair. The room was clean enough, but not comfortable. The television selection was very limited, and required several steps to access each time the TV was turned on. There was no fridge, microwave, or coffee maker in the room. There were no luggage caddies, which are definitely desired for a several night stay, anywhere in the hotel. The hotel did not provide an ice machine, although there was an ice bucket in the room. I would not recommend this motel to any traveler.

The STAFF ROCKS
I want to specifically mention John at check in. The guy went above and beyond to make sure that my stay was comfortable. He also served in the Marines.
All the staff at this location went above and beyond but John specifically went out of his way!!

Room sucked
Claims there is free wifi but wifi signal is terrible. Had to use the Hotspot on my phone to get anything done. Light in the bathroom was burned out, had to steal one from another fixture. Sink was clogged and sink was full of water most of the night but drained by morning. Mold in the shower on ceiling.

A great motel stay
This was one of the most clean and well maintained Motel 6's I have ever stayed at. The management was outstanding and well spoken with a true customer service quality. Thank you Motel 6 in Blue Springs for a great cheap motel room, which can be hard to find

Not worth 50.00
Room was in usable condition. No usable wifi, although stated there was wifi. Chip crumbs on the floor. Air filter was FILTHY! Just before check out the office staff claims a washcloth and hand towel wasn't there in the room. We stated there wasn't a washcloth and another hand towel. Staff lady stated " impossible ".Luckily I had taken pictures of the bathroom for proof of what was there for use. Prior guest checking out was met with similar experience with missing room items, yet being blamed for taking items. Shower rod was loose walls were dirty light switches was missing parts. Another person checking out said that his shower went cold while taking his shower and there was blood on a chair. Will NOT be back.

awful place never trust a picture
The picture throws you way off. I thought I’d be staying in a decent place for the price but it was awful. All the towels we got were stained and we couldn’t get more because of the covid. We stayed a total of 3 days and the towels we got the other days were also stained. One of the top blankets on the bed had a spot so we didn’t use it. The shower was falling apart and there was hair everywhere. I got out of the shower only to get dirt all over my feet from the floor and at one point I went to dump so drinks down the sink only to have them fall straight to the floor because the pipe under the sink was broken. We also did not have a fridge though in the description it said there would be one.

Looks can be deceiving
I didn't know they had roaches. After getting food and sitting down to eat I see them in the ice buckets and in the bathroom. I didn't feel comfortable enough to take a shower there. Also, the top security lock didn't work. Not too mention the towels were so stained they looked dirty. I will not be visiting this hotel again.

Worst motel stay ever!
My room was not the cleanest. The tub was dirty. My reservation was messed up and although i had a screenshot that I booked the room for Saturday their reservation said Sunday so I had to pay for another night and there was no refund. The front desk lady was very rude. I will NEVER stay at this location again.
