A really nice place
Our stay was perfect. The front desk was very helpful and pleasant. The pool area was super clean as were the hallways and our room. The only downside was the bed was very hard and squeaked a bit when we rolled over. I would stay here again.

We love that the suites are fully equipped studio apartments. The lodge surrounded by woods, and it is very quiet. The lobby decor is beautiful, reminding us of the set of the movie, the Budapest Hotel. In addition to all this, it is very convenient to shopping and to all the outdoor fun, nature, and arts venues of Pittsfield.

Resort and rooms were very clean and well maintained. Was close to markets and dining options.
Did not like the pool was under maintenance and they offered another pool which was a 30 mins deive away.
Getting to our room was hard, the resort felt like a maze and getting lost was easy.

Great stay in the Berkshires
We really liked it here. The hotel is affordable, comfortable, quiet, and peaceful. Everything we were hoping for as we went out most days and explored the area. The suites are gigantic. We will be staying here again in the future!

Pro: our suite was spacious and immaculate.
Also very quiet.
Con: reservation was for handicap accessible room and there were none available. Check-in person was not empathetic.
Furniture showed signs of wear and tear. The mattress sagged and should be replaced

Hotel is easy to locate. Room included a full kitchen, livingroom and separate bedroom. It would be great for longer than a one night stay. It doesn't have a restaurant or bar onsight. Clean and safe. Perfect for families or single travelers.

Good but the beds and air need work.
We’ve stayed here a bunch of times and always have a good experience. The rooms are well designed, and the service is very good. The only things we’ve had issues with are the beds are very uncomfortable and the air conditioning is uneven in that it is always more intense in the common area than in the bedroom or bathroom. We would stay here even more often if these two things were improved.

Good: Beautiful area very convinient to shopping and dining. Impressive lobby, great spacious and well equiped room. Bad: The linens for the sofa bed are not very new and fresh. Did not like the multiple fake plants in the room, they are dusty and just take lots of space. The indoor pool was ok. The hot tub was a disappointment. It was 85 F but it should be at least 100 or 105F especially as it is an outdoor hot tub. We were cold. The hot tub was the reason we chose this hotel in the first place but were not able to use it.

Plus side- location, amenities and room size with full kitchens
Down side- property is on the older side and there was paint falling off the walls and other water damage in the bathroom b/c there was no fan. Not appealing at all!!

This property has potential but definitely needs work. You pay a resort fee for use of the pool (pool liner disintegrating), hot tub, and game room (few games and claw machines). Room number one had mold in the bedroom around the vent for the AC and paint was peeling off walls in the bathroom. Room #2 was better, although still a touch of mold. Our trip was cut short when I stepped into the hot tub and burned myself pretty well, only to discover it was over 110 degrees.

Beautiful room
This would have been a five star review. However for my health reasons and my hubby the bed was too stiff and not supportive enough. Both of us were in pain and didn’t sleep great. This place has so much going for it and it was like a fully furnished one bed apartment instead of just a hotel room. We would love to come back for a longer stay except for that one issue. We also enjoyed the pool. Water temp was good. Not cold.

A very pleasant stay: I would definitely come again. Our room, beds and towels were very clean. Everything we needed was there. Both the king bed and couch bed were quite comfortable (especially the king). We were happy with the service at the front desk.
There were a few opportunities for improvement: The hallway carpeting, our toilet, and a few furnishings were rather aged and worn looking (but clean). The walls and floors are thin so you could hear people upstairs moving about sometimes and we could hear the neighbors toilet flushing quite loudly. My wife joked that it sounded like they were using our toilet. However, these inconveniences were small, and the hotel was very quiet and peaceful overall.

Strange place - smelled like mold and mildew in the lobby and halls and there's a loud buzzing noise from the multiple electrical closets that's audible in the rooms. The room itself is big and the kitchen is great. Staff ranges from cold and unprofessional to really helpful and knowledgeable. Kind of out of the way and no dining on the property.

The property was very clean but unfortunately the pool and arcade were closed for our entire stay. This is the main reason we chose this property and we were not notified of these closures before or during our stay. We found out when we tried to use the pool. We asked for a manager to call us but that has yet to happen and we checked out 2 days ago. The property has a lot of potential but unfortunately you can tell the staff training is not up to industry standards and no one really had an answer for any question we had during our stay. Even “where is the playground located?” We were told “ummm I’m not sure”.

I like that the room is like a one bedroom apartment with a full kitchen at a great rate. The air conditioning wasn't able to cool the room to comfortable sleeping level for me on a 85 degree day.

They could not find our Expedia reservations . Confirmation number did not help . Thankfully they found a room for us but not through reservation that I made . Also their elevators were not working so we had to bring all our stuff and ski equipment to the fourth floor with no elevators. It’s a work out

Good value, good location.
Beautiful setting and great location. Lodge is very well kept, quiet, and inviting. While check in was pretty slow due to the need to hand write information already on the reservation, the rest of the stay was smooth sailing. Would stay again and would highly recommend!

Checkin was just meh...The staff member had no uniform or even a nametag, and talking very loudly to someone who was in the back office. Checkout was the same.
Bed was not comfortable at all, pillows were flat.
We had a suite and the bedroom portion had zero AC in it, had to buy a fan just to get the cool air from the main area to circulate into the bedroom area.

Great location, good value in the Berkshires
Well located facility, clean with fully equipped kitchen. Decor could use updating. Would love a charging station for electric vehicles (we had to go to Lee for Tesla supercharger) Overall a good value on the Berkshires when visiting Tanglewood and other surrounding towns.

Perfect for a quiet getaway
I really enjoyed it here. I really just wanted to go somewhere quiet with an indoor pool, hot tub and fitness option. The room was really nice. It was like having your own apt with living room, dining area, bedroom, stove, dishwasher, fridge, coffee maker, and microwave. The only nitpick I have is it kind of smelled like someone smoked cigarettes in there at some point(even though it was a non smoking room and facility), and the stale lingering smell was still a bit present. It wasnt that bad, but enough for me to buy an air freshner spray. I would still give it a 9/10 though because everything else was perfect for the price!

There was a total lack of customer service, leaving us feeling like we were an inconvenience to the staff, whilst there was a total lack of any atmosphere within the hotel.
The stay was epitomised by a thoroughly unsafe car park which more resembled a skating ring, with very limited action taken to clear this for customers, whilst the steep drive into the hotel at one part of the day was inaccessible for anyone other than 4x4 vehicle drivers meaning I had to leave my car in a shopping mall car park on the opposite side of a dual carriageway and walk up to the hotel

All in all it was a nice property. Right in the heart of the Berkshires the location was excellent. The property needed some updating, as the bathtub and shower were old and there was major paint chipping! The room was clean and well stocked with all you needed. The bedroom was nice but the bed was not comfortable at all and the pillows were horrible!

Check in took about 30 minutes. When I arrived at 8:30 pm, no employee was at the front desk for 20 minutes. Room was spacious, but you hear a lot of noise from the parking lot if your room faces it. Couldn’t sleep past 6 am due to this.

Like a regular hotel. The suite had plenty of space and the kitchen was very well stocked with crockery and cutlery. All of the rooms in the suite were a good size with plenty of light. There were tv’s in both the living room and bedroom. There was a pool but we didn’t have occasion to use it.

Place has many strengths, big suites with plenty of space, good size and well equipped kitchen, etc. I used to like it very much. I still like it. But it has been allowed to get run down and is rather drab and depressing. Needs major updating and sprucing up, building on its strengths. I gather I am not the only person to feel this way.

The room was very clean and spacious. The kitchen was complete with dishware, flatware, coffee/condiments and dishwasher with soap. We did some shopping but the refrigerator and all appliances were first class. The design of everyth9ing was sleek and modern. The only real negative was that the hot tub did not have easy access.

Hotel was nice. Great location in the Berkshires. The room was clean only con I had was the small AC vent in the corner of the bedroom as it got a little warm. But overall I would definitely stay here again close to mountains, beautiful scenery for anytime of year. Lots of options for food as well along route 7. This part of Western Mass has a charm and quaintness to it that is a nice change of pace to the riff raff of the city.

The property was clean, however the requirements to put your trash outside the door, put used towels in the tub and run the dishwasher were a little out of the ordinary. Also the surprise $125 pet fee, which cost more than a night in the room was unexpected and didn't feel very pet friendly.

I liked just about everything. price was good. Staff helpful. Friendly. . Bathroom and bedroom were not perfectly clean , but when I brought it to attention of front desk they i.meciatelt offered to move me. I declined so they sent housekeeping up immediately .This was appropriate and satisfactory to me. The only thing that was somewhat difficult was wakeup call. I asked for a specific time and they called 1hr.later. I presume this was due to daylight savings change the day before but it made it hectic for me. Overall the facilities were very nice. Small inconveniences were not too bad. I would definitely stay there again.

Come here every year for skiing nearby. Love coming here for convenience. Only complaint is that the tv did not work in the bedroom and they had no way of fixing it while we were there for two nights. Kids in living room so no way to switch out the TVs. Hopefully it’ll be better next year.

Unfortunately we were put in a room which had not been cleaned from the last guest. They did move us to another room but that seems like something that should have been checked ahead of time. Bed unmade, dirty bathroom with garbage and wet towels on the floor. Also the elevator was broken and due to carrying lots of belongings, requiring use of a cart we could not use stairs all the time. We were on the 5th floor. Alternate elevator far from our room.
Desk staff did seem nice and I liked that all the kitchen needs were provided .

I can’t say anything bad about the room or the hotel itself. The check in staff was good too. But once we had to get our parking permit for the property and we “won” an $80 gift card and snack at their sister property things seemed a bit off. About two hours of our second day were spent in a high pressure time share sales meeting to get the $80 gift card. The catch was they held a $20 deposit and the only way to get it back was to go get a $100 gift card. We even told the guy at the sales pitch we had no idea and he outright said they couldn’t just tell people what it was for or no one would ever come. He then increased the pressure and got mildly insulting because we told him we are not interested and even if we were buying the only options of 12 months 0% interest or 7 years 17.9% interest weren’t something I would ever do. He then started making comments about us not being able to afford it. That was the worst part of the trip. The hotel, like I said, was nice, but one thing they don’t tell you is that out of the entire 5 floor large hotel only 45 rooms are there for hotel guests and they are the ones who get flagged to “win” the gift card and snack. Despite liking the property, I probably won’t return to this place. I’m going on vacation to enjoy myself, not to get pressured into making a large purchase that they can “only honor that specific day.”

We were surprised by the size and amenities of the room. We didn't expect to have a full suite, but everything was very spacious and nice. We were on the second floor, and had a very restful night's sleep. The lodge is close to several restaurants (try Electra's Cafe for breakfast) but without the higher prices in nearby Stockbridge.
