Wasn’t told and nowhere confirmed where to stand for the shuttle car. I waited a full hour in the cold until I called the front desk. Upon arrival I was frozen and there was no hot water for tea and waiting for the front desk felt like eternity.

The front desk receptionist Sam was absolutely helpful in everyway from the moment he checked us in, up until check out. Always smiling, knowledgeable, and informative. He also went the extra mile by bringing me something I had requested all the way up to the room himself. Much appreciated!
He is the reason we will definitely be staying next time in this hotel.

Front desk clerk
Front desk clerk was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. She help he was parking long tail which I paid for with the third-party advance and they didn’t even honor that hotel so she took care of it. She also booked us on the shuttle for the next morning and recommended a bar restaurant to go to she was a great example of Marriott hospitality.

The person who received us was very friendly and we make a nice check in with him. The lobby was gorgeous, everything nice and clean. We were surprised to see such elegant and beautiful hotel.
Breakfast was outstanding, a real complete breakfast and starts at 5 am , great early time if you are going to work or your planes departures early in the morning.

The shuttle from the airport was easy. The staff was friendly. The parking was close and easy. The room near the elevator did get some ping noises, but a white noise app on the phone would have fixed that, for the most part.

There was no way of knowing exactly which shuttle stand Fairfield pick up used. So the shuttle that only came by once in an hour rather than every half hour as advertised went right past us. When I called to ask how I was to know which shuttle station they used the man answering the phone had a surly attitude “that we could argue about it all night”. How about correcting the situation and put the specific shuttle stand 2g on the website so it doesn’t happen again.

The hotel is nicely located within Cambridge. The room space was generous and the furnishings in excellent condition. The room staff did a good job cleaning the room and the front desk was friendly, helpful and courteous. A highly enjoyable stay in the Boston area.

Highly recommended!
Friendly staff and comfy room. I had a short overnight layover from Dulles and this was the perfect choice. Free airport shuttle with long operating hours and a free breakfast. Would definitely stay again if I have an overnight at Dulles.

Fairfield Inn & Suites at Dulles Airport
Our recent stay at the Fairfield Inn & Suites at Dulles Airport was perfect for our requirements. We needed close proximity to Dulles Airport, with the Fairfield Inn-provided transportation from the airport, after our overnight return flight. The room accommodations were clean, comfortable, and quiet. The breakfast meal items were sufficient for our appetites. The entire hotel staff were very professional, congenial, and welcoming.

Great place for a pass-through
Comfy bed, easy and friendly checkin. Awesome breakfast. Only gripe is the comm on airport pickup was not clear, resulting in us waiting at the airport for a shuttle that didn't come. So you DO have to call for a pickup. Dropoff is every 30 mins and you choose the slot.

Suites were relatively comfortable and had easy access to the location. Van to airport was early to catch 6AM flight. Would have been nice to get something to eat before leaving, but eating area was not opened to grab a drink or bite to eat.

Front desk not helpful and not welcoming. Not enough cart for customer, I went to search for the cart in each floor because staff not helpful. Cleaner not speak English and not willing to help elderly people with their luggage. Very bad experience. I came to this hotel from previous stay in Fairfield and suite DC downtown was friendly, welcoming, and excellent experience. The experience in Fairfield Airport totally opposite than DC downtown

Super nice hotel. Very clean and modern. The shuttle and breakfast start very early nos it was convenient. And the Hertz is right there so we dropped off the car and we didn’t need extra transport to hotel.

Good stay, quiet and close to the airport. The only negative was that either the last occupant or the cleaning staff had used the bathroom to smoke in - the smell was really strong in the bathroom, enough to make me think it had been done just prior to us checking in.

Very convenient to the airport. Shuttle service is very reliable. Easy and affordable long term parking. Room was clean, comfortable and quiet. My only complaint is the staff. The front desk lady ignores all incoming calls during her night shift. I had a question after i checked in and tried calling ALL the extensions for a whike, NO ANSWER. I even tried calling externally from my cell, same, NO ANSWER! I had no choice but to walk in my pijamas to front desk to talk to her. It was not even 11pm but it was impossible to reach anyone by phone, so you are on your own at night time. I found that very estrange.

The property is really great at being close to Dulles international airport and it has a great staff who is very helpful. There’s a lot of things to visit in that area which is awesome. Cracker Barrel is right next-door which is really really great because they got great food.
