Good Choice
This was our first trip to Miami, and the Radisson was a good choice for us.
Pros: clean facility, beds and pillows were great, staff was friendly, pool area had plenty of chairs and towels for all, beach access can't be beat.
Cons: valet car retrieval took 20-30 minutes regardless of day/time, we were on the 5th floor and the elevators were extremely slow (2 plus 1 staff elevator), and each night we could clearly hear our neighbors above us.

The worst. Thin walls between rooms, noisy staff in the halls, interior construction noise, sand on floor of room, filthy pool, limited restaurant hours, low water pressure, very overpriced, exterior of building in bad shape. Just awful.

I am rating this hotel 5 stars -as it is 5 stars for what it claims to be. This is not a 5 star hotel. But it lives up to what it shows online and meets the expectations for the type of hotel it is. If you want a '5 star' hotel, go over to Fountainebleau and pay twice as much for a newer, glossier hotel with a fancy pool and overpriced restaurants. This hotel is an old building - you can't expect everything to be perfect. It was clean and the staff was very friendly. We had a small maintenance issue in our room and it was fixed within hours. We requested additional housekeeping service one day and it was taken care of within hours. You can walk to Fountainebleau, Eden Roc, and right next door is Soho House. Try the italian restaurant Cecconi's at the Soho House- great food, great ambiance - make a reservation! If you want to go to South Beach, it is close to a 3 mile walk. We walked it one day, chose to uber 1 day, and used the citi bikes another day. Uber is the best way to get around. I did not use the pool at the hotel - why would you when the beach is right there?! You get 2 chairs and 1 umbrella included daily as part of the resort fee. The beach area for the hotel is set up nicely with enough room between the chairs. We also never ate at the restaurant at the hotel, as it never seemed to have any vibe going on. Overall, this hotel is a great value. You can get an oceanfront king suite for the same rate as the closet at Fountainebleau.I would stay again!

Needs staff and work.
Under staffed... both outside and in! When was the last time the windows were cleaned? Just not worth the money! It is nicely situated on beach front and allowed me to go to better places during the day and evenings.

Bad employees in a nice hotel
We were in the room 1009 and the noise every morning was a problem to sleep because of construction in front of.
Asked to change and there was no solution.
The bagagge man with curly hair droped and crushed 1 of our bags.

Staff was extremely friendly, restaurant very good, easy walkable beach paved walkway that goes all the way to South Beach. Takes some time but worth it to get down there for a meal and see the retro buildings on Ocean drive. We Ubered back.

Expedia VIP / Gold membership means NOTHING at this hotel. They will only "take your name" with the false promise of contacting you if an upgrade is available.
We checked several times in a 5 day stay and were met with staff that did not want to help us or acknowledge any VIP benefit. NB The hotel had rooms available as we checked on their own website, but they denied this. We gave up by day beginning of day 3.
Make sure you read the fine print about parking. There is NO onsite available so you have to use the parking garage across the street yourself...which is either $47 USD per day or you get the hotel to park it via Valet...then it's the same price but you'll have to tip.
Only VIP "perk" and I say that with " " because you get $49 parking credit for ONE DAY but you have to use the Valet service. This is in contradiction to what Expedia says. Read Ts &C's clearly, it is for one day, not everyday.
Staff provided a very average service on the desk. They lacked any Radisson level of joy, smiles or welcoming. They have a "no bullies" sign sitting on the counter, which to us seemed to emphasize that maybe guests have been very frustrated with their service level or lack there of.
The pool is in desperate need of daily cleaning, not weekly which we noticed -- we saw the same dirty band aid floating for 3 days. Yuck!
The two gentlemen running the breakfast shifts were excellent. Smiley, happy and attentive. They deserve a raise!

Great location with walk or trolley to South Beach. Right on the boardwalk and large room with balcony. Nice pool and beach! Parking expensive with mandatory valet. Had to ask every day for service: towels, trash removal and clear room. Very noisy bar in building next door.

Older hotel with updates along the years, but still feels tired. Greeted by someone at the front door who took our bags, and when we took them from the lobby to go upstairs (and didn't tip) he proceed to "firmly" grab his tip box and bang it on the counter. The rooms present well, as its new and renovated but the quality has a lot to be desired. Overall the staff and service seemed middle of the road

Front counter staff were unfriendly and didn’t seem to welcome us to the property with warm smiles. Our room needed cleaning and painting as it seemed like a renovation is needed. Also, the restaurant near the lobby was extremely unprofessional and our food was disgusting. Great view though and hopefully the property owners will consider adding more privacy to “oceanfront” balcony design, our neighbors could see directly into our room. Will not be booking in the future.

We booked a December getaway and decided to stay at the Radisson Miami Beach for 10 nights. Overall, the stay was ok but the real ongoing problem is with Radisson's customer service regarding the holding deposit for Incidentals/damage.
At the time of check-in, they charged me just over $500 as a holding deposit but assured me it would be refunded within 5-10 days. It's been nearly 3 weeks and I have not received the deposit back & have been charged by my credit card company. When called the hotel to discuss the issue, I got all sorts of weird responses (My credit card company is holding the deposit and I need to call them to get the funds released, we can't see any charge on your account, etc.). I spoke to Lynda, Camille, Enka, and others from the hotel reception but nobody had a clue how to fix this. When asked to speak with a manager, she was not available. Promised me a call back 4 times and never heard from the manager. They asked me to send an email to guest relations with the proof that I had been wrongly charged but no response from there either.
I travel a fair bit from work and often stay at Radisson but no more. I didn't expect this from Radisson but this was my last stay with them!

This hotel resort was a beautiful surprise. Smaller than other properties we have stayed at , this hotel offered clean and updated accommodations. The staff was helpful and bonus, we were able to get late check out at last minute, which was so nice.
Staff overall helpful and always asking what they can do to help.
The pool area needs a little bit of a facelift but otherwise, it’s a nice place and would return in the furure

This hotel is very clean. I love everything, except the thin wall.
You can hear your next-room neighbor talking. Luckily, I had a good next-room neighbor.
I give 5 stars since this hotel was built 85 years ago. It is still clean and in the good condition.
I stayed at room 822 which has 2 queen beds with Oceanfront view. Great view! I love it!!! The room has a refrigerator, but there is no microwave.
I will stay this place again in the future!

Family break from the cold
I was impressed with this resort.

Average at best property. Trying to check in early we were told they will call us. They never did. Their computers were down as well and made photo copy of credit card. I wanted it back when information used since I had bad experience with companies photo copying my card information that ended up stolen and credit card hacked. On checkout I asked for it back and front desk lost it. Water pressure was awful. When leaving water leaking on us in elevator from inside on ride down. Pros close to ocean ave, but still need to taxi it there.

We stayed at the Radisson post cruise. The staff were great about storing our luggage and getting us our rooms as early as possible. We were able to use all of the hotel facilities. The pool is wonderful and the hotel is located right by the boardwalk and beach. The room was quiet and comfortable. Would definitely stay here again.

Its a decent place, but they kill you on the fees; resort fees and valet fees and both are taxed. Plus the room rate increased dramatically as the weekend approached.

My sister was walking through the pool area and stepped on a drain, the drain cover flipped off and she sprained her ankle. Management did absolutely nothing and avoided us the entire time with no resolution or any kind of hep or concessions.

Great location friendly staff really nice pool area tasty food at the poolside bar. Only criticism was it was only 75° outside and everywhere in the hotel was on full blast AC so it was really really cold all the time and the water in the showers does not get hot a bit warm at best

HIGHLY RECOMMEND
This will be our hotel of choice for future visits to Miami. From walking in the door to leaving everything was excellent. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. We arrived early morning. Our luggage was stored for us and we had immediate access to all public areas of the hotel aas well as their private beach area. Everywhere was clean and well kept. We did not pay for a room with a view. Our room was on Floor 9 overlooking the street. No problem with noise. The room was a good size, very comfortable, very well appointed with good quality amenities and was exceptionally clean. No complaints whatsoever.

Very, inviting and hospitable property. Very, clean and newly, renovated. Rooms smelled great. Hallways could use scented fresheners. Overall, this was a superb experience!! You have to try the pizza here. It's a must try!! IT'S NO PETS, other than service, ALLOWED WHICH IS A TOTAL WIN and attributes to the nice smell as well. Hopefully, you'll be as privileged to get Yadira as your housekeeper. She was the best of my stay!! She's the epitome of great care. Take good care of her Radisson Resort Miami Beach

The rooms had very tiny washrooms. However they were clean.
The hotel had next to no lounging areas around the pool, especially when nearby hotels had so much more character.
The food selections at the breakfast restaurant were poor. We ended up going to restaurants at other properties for all our meals.

I liked that the beach was in a hop skip and a jump away, along with the bike and walking path. It was just over 2 miles to walk to south beach, which had more shops. I also like that we got to see jellyfish everyday when we would take a short walk in the morning to go get some breakfast. Also, on the walk there were great opportunities to take some pretty niffty pictures. The life guard tower was directly beside the sunning chairs for the hotel. Felt very safe and they were also very helpful when my husband got stung by a jellyfish. Very family friendly! Housekeeping kept the room very clean, while keeping us stocked up with essentials. Thanks for a great experience.

Worst hotel in Miami. I was supposed to stay from Nov 26th to Dec 1st. I called in the night of the 26 saying that I was not able to arrive due to a flight cancellation, but that I was going to arrive in the next day early morning. When I arrive to the hotel they had cancel my reservation, so hotel charge me a fee for no show to my credit card, they denied they made that charge until I show them my credit card statement. Then they start looking for my reservation and said it was cancel they try to make a new one with a HIGHER PRICE of the one that I already had, after complains and 1 hour check in they finally agree to give me my reservation back to the price was argued, for the No show fee they haven give me any invoice. AWFUL SERVICE

This was our last minute booking. We booked one bedroom with king size bed and living room with the pull out couch. The bedroom was a great size and the living room sofa was very comfortable. There were 2tvs that was good for the family with kids. The bathroom was amazing - there was a separate shower and a jacuzzi. We also had an area with microwave, lavazza espresso machine and keurig coffee maker also. Fridge and freezer were also there. This was awesome to keep our drinks cold before going to the beach.
We had an ocean view room and it was awesome to watch the sunrise every morning. I wish we had a balcony, but there are other rooms with that option.
We got to the hotel early and were able to do early check in for $30. We did not mind.
Overall hotel is renovated, very clean, modern and just as in pictures.
There is only valet parking available but it was very well organized. There is a fee to use valet.
We had breakfast and the hotel restaurant- food was amazing. Dinner is served also, it was convenient .
You can order snacks and bites , drinks while at the pool as well. Towels are available for use and you can get a beach chair and umbrella at the beach that is within walking distance of the hotel.
You can walk to restaurants to get food, cvs is within 5 min walk.
Overall great experience. We had amazing time and would definite stay again.

What a thoroughly disappointing and frustrating stay! There was a long wait for check in. We had booked two rooms together which at the last minute they had changed to being 3 floors apart. When questioned on the reception, they said it was occupied. When we questioned why it had been given away, suddenly they changed their story and said it was water damaged (there had been a storm the previous days). We later found out that the night manager had indeed lied to us and it was occupied by someone else as we met them leaving their room! When we questioned the night manager, she admitted she lied. When we arrived, we should have received a parking credit as part of Expedia VIP benefits, but the front desk got this all wrong and it took a long fight and getting a manager out again to get this corrected. The reception is pretty spectacular but scratch the surface and the hotel is in poor repair and not well maintained. There had been a storm (not at all uncommon in Miami and hotels prepare for this) This hotel was leaking like a sieve and numerous rooms were taken out of action because of water damage. We had wet carpets in our room. The corridor smelt strongly of cannabis. Pool unusable as full of debris. I tried to speak to the duty manager to convey my disappointment and they were in 'meetings' for hours and unprepared to speak to me. I left my number for a call the following day at their leisure and a week later and I am still waiting. AWFUL!

I was staying at the room next to the elevators there was noise coming from the elevators . I asked for a room change no one got back to me.
It seemed like front desk staff did not speak english well.
on the check out date I asked for a late check out option and I was told it was not available.

Hotel was nice, rooms were clean and spacious, thanks for the free waters each day !! The outdoor pool bar needs to be bigger with a bartender that knows what she is doing instead of someone making a drink from a recipe.... If the bar was built bigger with stools around it, it would be more crowded. The pool edges need some work - in the water they are kinda gross looking

Not worth it
Overpriced for what it is. The $49 credit for self parking isn’t real and you’ll be forced to valet. You have to pay a resort fee per day even if you check in at night when everything’s closed.

Beat down and depressing
I normally like Radisson’s so it was very disappointing to experience this one. It’s very old interiors, slow elevators, key cards that don’t work. Really disappointing. Skip and stay at one of the other nearby hotels, which all look great.

Enrique (botones) muy amable, atento y preocupado por la buena atención. Nos ofreció buenas opciones de restaurantes y de lugares para comprar. La chica que entregaba las toallas en la piscina, simpática y amable.
Las chicas de recepción siempre con un misterio sobre el late check out y cuando llega el momento de validar si podía optar por esta extensión de estadía con costo me dicen que el sistema está caído… vuelvo a la hora y sigue igual… No sé, pero muy extraña la situación. Mejor decir que no lo ofrecen y listo!
El hotel está en muy buenas condiciones, la habitación amplia, cómoda y con mobiliario nuevo. Las camas y almohadas estuvieron perfectas, con la excepción de la presión del agua de la ducha: muy baja!!! No colocamos la queja, pero con tan baja presión debería ser revisada, porque no era nada cómodo bañarse así. Nos hospedamos en el piso 10.

Complain first, then compliments....
The ice machine on the 8th floor wasn't working and nobody seemed interested in fixing it, which tells me it had been out of service for a while.
Breakfast was ridiculously priced which in retrospect was a good thing because it forced us to forage in the neighborhood for a better option. The little bodega down the street had a terrific breakfast for 1/3 the cost.
We used the text/QR code feature to call for our car and that didn't work so well. We waited for nearly a half an hour and then used the old fashioned way of requesting a car....face-to-face.
The room was GREAT and the view of the ocean was even better. I loved that we had a little deck to sit out and watch the water.

this was a nice hotel it smell really amazing when I first walked in the automatic front door is a lil slow moving to open. lol the the pool area was nice. the only down fall for me was the gym. I need a gym when I go away, and from the picture I thought it would be fairly decent. but it wasn't that big and only a the small basic treadmill, free weight, bike and elliptical. which isn't to bad, but the smell and the inch worm all over the corner of the wall wasn't pleasing so my normal 2hr work out was just about 45min or hr. cause I couldn't take the smell or the sight of the inch worms. if your not a gym head the in a nut shell the hotel is pretty nice. However it is located not to a Hotel that was jamming the music. But from where my room was I really didn't hear it. and if you decide to take the bus. There located a feet steps from the hotel.

We really did enjoy our stay here over the long weekend. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Prices are very high for food/drink on site or anywhere really. Beach area was clean, it is public. Site is locked down safely from the beach side as well. View was really good from our room on the 10th floor. Parking is $40 for valet per night, plus any tips you give.
There was not a microwave in our room. The balcony was poorly painted, but not a huge deal. Just doesn't lend to confidence when sitting 100' in the air that even the paint detail was bad. There was a lot of animal life around the pool area, Iguanas, lizards, birds...unfortunately a rat also.
We would stay again, preferably without the rat.

this property was clean, staff was very friendly, pool was clean it was close to beach, room was very clean, and beds was comfortable, only one disappointment restaurants on property were very expensive I would definitely stay there again but eat somewhere else.

Fun and Sun in Miami
The front desk upgraded out room to 10th floor with an incredible view of ocean. The restaurant staff friendly and efficient

Front desk Staff wasn’t very helpful, overpriced terrrible dinner.
Dinners in Miami have gratuity included so they have terrible service. They don’t care because they are already getting tipped.

The hotel was neat
. The staff was excellent. The pool area and beach were clean. The poolside iguana was a treat.
Our only complaint is that the pool view room had no view of the pool but the balcony was nice nonetheless.

Service was great and rooms were super clean and we had a oceanfront balcony suite for a great value. I would definitely stay here again. The location was very centrally located on Miami Beach so you could walk to quite a bit of things or take a short Uber ride
