Horrible stay
I cannot sleep due to insects in the bed. I am itching like crazy and have bites and bumps on my body. I believe it to be either bed bug or tick. I picked it up with a tissue and put it in the garbage can. I should have taken a picture when it was on my pillow, but I didn't think about that at the time. I would call the front desk but my husband is asleep. He has to drive in the morning.

A Must Stay
This facility is located right off route 95, very clean, check in was simple and the breakfast is excellent with, meat, fruit and to go sandwiches!
My only concern was the hvac unit in our room was very loud. The manager stated that some units probably need to be replaced due to the noise. So just check your unit before you settle in. If too loud ask for another room. You should stay here. It’s a great choice!

While the room was smoke free, the facility reeked of stale cigarettes. It was particularly bad in the parking lot and perhaps we could never get smell out of our nose after the first impression.

Not a Marriott experience, horrible overall
I do not understand how this place has a Marriott title. Do not be fooled, this is a Days inn in disguise. Trying to access this area during any sort of traffic is absolutely abysmal. Being so close to the highway, there's a lot of crime and vagrant activity. As far as the amenities go, everything is worn and not very well upkept. For instance, our shower doors will not remain closed no matter what. There is very little if any soundproofing throughout the building. Closer to the elevator the building has a slight wobble to it. It's a very uncomfortable feeling on the fourth floor. Our first night there was a fight outside of a room, another room with a dog barking, and then the room beside us had a party going. This was on Monday. The management, rather the head manager is a very miserable individual. Most of the other staff or top-notch. It is very observable that they try to avoid the manager Dawn. You will find stray cats right outside the door from the sewer that will come rub up on your clean clothing. There are far better options right beside or near this location. Only use this overprice option if this is the last available option. They like to overcharge, and under deliver.
You would think a self proclaimed military veteran would understand what leadership is. Though this manager missed the mark by a mile. What do you think

The breakfast was good. The room was kind of dirty. There were cobwebs, crumbs, and some white lotion type stuff on the couch. It had two pull out couches but you couldn’t use both at the same time and there wasn’t enough pillows. The shower leaked really badly so the floor was always soaking wet after a shower.

A really nice, clean hotel. The Mexican restaurant about 100' away is just ok; I wouldn't go there again. The portions for food and drink pours are quite small. The waiter's English was poor. The service is incredibly slow. The food actually tasted good, but not worth the price or very long wait. I'd stay at this hotel again for sure, if I needed to be in the immediate area.

Poor maintenance
On arrival we noted the toilet was broken (valve leaking with continuous running). The person at the desk said there were no other rooms and nobody available to repair the toilet until the following morning (after we were departing). The public bathroom was locked and unavailable. Were we to pay for a room without proper facilities? Were we supposed to go to a gas station? She offered to look at it. I asked if she had a replacement valve. She replied "So you don't want me to look at it?" I said "Fine, look at it, but it needs repair". When I asked for her to call a plumber she refused and said it would have to wait for maintenance to arrive the next day. Finally she relented and gave us another room. How housekeeping could have missed the fact that the toilet was running continuously is difficult to understand. Did not appreciate arriving after a long drive only to have to fight for a toilet.

Cleaning comfortable
When traveling and staying in hotel rooms I always thoroughly check I start with the bathroom I UV light that I scan the bed. I checked the carpets and I found nothing wrong with my room. It was very clean and I noticed housekeeping constantly cleaning during the day which is always good

I was in a wheelchair accessible room. I am not disabled. There was no hand soap. I used the body wash from the shower and that was too high for someone in a wheelchair to reach.
The shower head was hand held only.
The cover for floor drain in front of sink was not attached.

Have stayed at this property numerous times in the past. Upon arrival, I waited about 15 minutes to be helped. Told the room was ready. Went to room...bed wasn't made, towels on the floor in the bathroom, garbage not taken out. WAS TOLD IT HAD BEEN CLEANED)
Offered another room...took it as it was done. Breakfast on most days was a disaster, hotel was jammed (baseball & graduations were happening that weekend, therefore the hotel was crowded with people). Long lines, having to wait and then ran out of food...waited until more came. out...maybe. Wasn't informed the swimming pool would not be available at time of reservation, under renovation since March....it's now the middle of June. And finally, room was for 2, yet some days there was only 1 wash clothe. Pretty sure I will not be staying there ever again. Who is checking the checker?

We accidentally left an expensive item behind (over $150) and were told it was not found. We know exactly where we left it in the room. I am disappointed that it was not recovered and held for us and that it "disappeared." Very upset about this!

The one needs improvement I have is the wayer pressure in the shower. I could barely get my hair washed. Other than that all was great. Breakfast was good and location was convenient. Staff was very friendly

We had a problem using the pull-out sofa bed in the room. The fixed position of the queen bed closest to the sofa bed would not allow us to fully extend the sofa bed. We "solved" the poor design problem by moving the bed to the opposite side of the room. We only had two small children sleeping in it for one night. If it had been a longer stay it would have been very annoying with the sofa/bed constantly in the way. This is a serious design flaw,, based on simple measurements, and should be addressed by the design team.

Outdated old hotel. Air conditioner/heater was loud…we had to unplug it. Refrigerator was also loud…unplugged that.
Not very comforting upon entrance. Staff was indifferent.
Room looked old and beds were mildly comfortable. There are a few better options off this exit that my family and I have stayed at.
Will not bring staying here again.

No lights over bed! Sink was slow to drain.
Breakfast was fair due to the fact the sausage was cold and there wasn’t a microwave to warm food, only a small toaster.

I paid Expedia $115 for our room but the was charged another $100 for my two little hypo allergenic dogs, which is outrageous. I was never informed of the ridiculous charge when I checked in. I am willing to pay something, but not $100!!!

It’s older and I could very clearly hear people walking in the room about. The staff was great. The breakfast was the best we had during our travels on this trip. The lady that ran the breakfast area was amazing. It was spotless

Took some room switching before we had a good room. At first the rooms needed more attention to the cleaning. Definitely things missed. Once we got a clean room, the beds were comfortable and the front desk people were AMAZING!
Our room had a sofa bed and that thing was disgusting. Had rust colored stains just seeping through it. You could feel the springs when you sat in it. It needed to be replaced and the mattress burned. Even the sheets provided for it in the room had that gross color stained on it.
The breakfast was good and definitely enjoyed it. Something for everyone.
I’m super picky about where I stay especially with two little kids, and I’d stay here again. The front desk was helpful and accommodating, the breakfast was good, the beds comfortable, and the little interaction I had with housekeeping was nice. Only thing I’d suggest is more thorough cleaning.

Not luxury, but everything you need!
No frills, but everything you need for a nice stay! Clean and comfy beds, clean rooms, with nice hot showers. We were traveling with our dogs and they were pet friendly also. The free breakfast in the morning was definite bonus too! Quick access to I-95. Highly recommend!

Filthy Couch - but all else okay.
The place was mostly okay, but as soon as I entered the room I noticed right away that the couch was FILTHY, and stained with what seemed like body fluid stains. That was in room 231. I went to the front desk and complained, and the person behind work wrote a note for the maintenance department … she also advised that the hotel was undergoing an upgrade and most rooms were slated to receive new decor and furniture. However, in my opinion, that room should have never been placed in the rental rotation.

Great One Time Stay
I only stayed one night, but it was a really good experience.The staff was very friendly and professional. The room was clean and comfortable. The desk chair back was a little flimsy, which needs to be adjusted. Everything else was great. The breakfast was good with plenty of choices. I would highly recommend this hotel and will stay again if in the area.

Great Hotel near everything
The Fairfeild Inn in Chester was great. It was clean and and appears to be recently updates. The room was spacious and the beds comfortable. There were all of the conveniences including a large smart TV. The breakfast was great and the staff was friendly and accomodating.
