Our stay at the the best western plus resort was okay. The location was convenient for our 3 night . The room was clean. I would recommend that microwave on each floor, as well as an ice machine. It would be more convenient than to go all the way to the basement or to the other floors for ice. Also the pool was nice but too cold, should consider a heated pool and add some music to the pool side bar and some lights to spice out up . Overall a cool stay

Nice location to access the beach. First thought as we stepped through the door was overwhelming odor from the cleaning products used in the hotel-it was too much!
The room was clean, bed was alright, pillows were not great. The faucet in the shower is backwards in terms of finding the hot water. Biggest complaint for this average hotel was the noise after 11 pm in the hall from our neighbors allowing their doors to bang exceptionally loud along with the loud voices. The walls are thin and there is no sound proofing so it was a long night of no rest. The hotel could use some updating and some milder scented cleaning products.

Lack of upkeep turned this into a BW -
This very old property is falling apart, being run into the ground w/o required improvements and should be demolished. The failing A/C system is loud, leaking and unsafe.

The only good thing about this hotel is the location. It is right on the beach. The actual property looks NOTHING like the pictures. It is dated and musty. The carpet in our room was dirty and there was water around the sink when we checked it. The beds are like sleeping on a sheet of plywood.
The staff were not friendly at all. They acted irritated when we had questions.
The worst part was the construction noise that went on outside until after midnight. There was no way to sleep.
The pool area was just ok. But to get to it from the hotel you have to walk down a sketchy alley.
There are plenty of great hotels in Mid Beach Miami that no one should have to put up with a place like this. If you’re smart, you’ll choose somewhere else

This place was a nice hotel but front desk staff are super rude. Don’t explain anything and when you have a question they have attitude. Sadly one of them was the manager that checked me in.

I enjoyed the great views of the beach from my balcony. Easy private access to the boardwalk. The location is convenient and close to dining and some stores. I parked my car a few blocks away in a garage because onsite parking is limited. The old carpets in the hallways and rooms need to be replaced because they smell bad. The toilet was cramped into the corner of the bathroom and it wasn't very comfortable to use.

I appreciate the most the affordable price for the ocean view hotel room. The only strange thing was that I was advised to leave my baggage with concierge and when taking it back was told: "Wait, don't go there yet, I allowed the guy to change there". To change in a room full of other people's stuff?

They pulled a bait and switch. We absolutely did not stay in the room we viewed when we paid for it. We asked for a clarification and received a very rude response. We will never spend our money there again. We have never experienced a worse stay anywhere. Maybe they should have given us the room we saw when ordering. Fool me once...........

Our room was nice, ocean view and pretty. I wasn't expecting a nice room from the halls, they were dingy and seemed outdated. Thankfully the room was good.. However, we drove around for 30 minutes trying to find where to park. Tried calling the hotel, they never would answer their phone. Finally got inside and they were most helpful. Said their parking garage is full, we'd have to find street parking. We didn't eat breakfast at the restaurant as they are very overpriced. After we left we realized an item was forgotten. Of course they still wouldn't answer their phones, so my sister drove 45 minutes over there for them to tell her they don't have access to house keeping and we'd have to check back the following day. How does a hotel not have access to their house keeping, and how do they NOT answer their phones?! Their lack of customer service makes me never want to return there.

Limited parking on the property. No guarantee to get one. The intersection in front of the hotel is noisy and people honk their horn a lot. You have to ask for what is included in the resort fee otherwise you will miss things like free beach chairs and umbrella, beach towels and bottles of water.

Perfect stay
I stayed at the Best Western Plus Atlantic Beach Resort during the Miami Basel fair. It was in a good location and a great price given how expensive other hotels were in the area. My room was clean, had a nice ocean view, and the staff were all incredibly kind and helpful.

Do not booking the hotel
Dec 13,2023 My husband and I was parking in wheelchair which was indicted by front desk person. He gave us access code to went through the wheelchair door also used as for employees. Next day one parking employee, maybe parking enforcement, came in to work in the morning and met us at the door which can access to wheelchair parking. He told me unpleasant that the way is for employees only. I explained I have wheelchair parking and the first desk person gave us the permission and pass code to open the door. He was continuing told us we have to go around the hotel to get car. He left and we went to the car. After several minutes we couldn't find another way to hotel. One employee let me went through the door and entered hotel. Unfortunately, we met the person again and he talked to me rudely and said to me again the way is not for customers.
I asked front desk again and confirmed we can use the door to parking lot as we are wheelchair parking. I am ready disappoint and very angry with the person manner. It's not acceptable.

I really cannot fault this hotel - while it is on the older side, it was immaculately clean, and the staff were incredibly friendly. I think the hotel is in the ideal location, being close to South Beach without being so busy. It is also super easy to reach downtown and Wynwood by car. I really would stay here again for its cleanliness and convenience.

The hotel has potential, but the smell.no.mattwr how they try to cover it up is unbearable. The musky, moldy smell takes over the hotel especially on the room floors we were on 7. My clothes and belongings kept the smell and took days to air out on our cruise. The pool and proximity to the beach are nice. The restaurant is very mediocre but the service in it was great. My son's both picked up a cereal they didn't eat so I put them in my bag instead of leaving it to be thrown out and the lady at the front of the restaurant came up to me and said she would allowe to take it this time but not next time......ummm ok it was a buffet and it would have likely been thrown out anyway.

The room itself was ok. Our key cards didnt work at all. They ended up giving us an actual key to the room. We were not the only ones who had that problem. In the description it showed they had transportation to the port of Miami...and they dont. I dont know if that falls on the hotel or expedia but either way you have to uber everywhere. The beach it very close and convenient. The main lobby of the hotel smelled very nice, but once you got the the room levels the hallways smelled really bad. The resturant they have was not by any means fantastic...or memorable...very limited menu options. This was not our final destination, rather just the start of our vacation. For what we paid we would have expected much much more

Be prepared: upon arrival the price will be different and you will be given a different room than the one you booked. The room is damp; they are cleaned just for show; if breakfast is included you will still have to pay extra. One of the advantages is the accessible beach. it was a bad experience, maybe we were unlucky.

Great Pizza Restaurant nearby Piola Pizza. Service was incredible, food was even better and after ordering multiple pizzas and other dishes, they all came to the table in less than 10 minutes. Liquor stores all close by, sandwich shops, etc. Great Pool area where you can buy drinks, Great access to beach chairs, umbrellas and a great spot right on the beach...all free to use. Great hotel and experience!

Never again staying!
First of all they didn’t have parking lot space for us. I had to spend $45 to park my vehicle two blocks away and when i ask the manager when i checked in he said to me “it is what it is” what kind of customer service is that? The laundry was not working when he said it did. The toilet would never stop of overflowing after the the first flush. I had to close the waterline. I called the front desk like 20 times and never answered. I complained in the morning and the gentleman that was there had more manners that the one during the night.

Upon checking in- I was given a room (503) that had water damage - smelled like mildew, lamps knocked over, half the carpet was pulled up (from the water damage). towels had blond hair wrapped in them (I have black hair), and are no heat options for the rooms (only ac) When I informed the front desk I was told there were no other options and the guy had a nasty attitude and rolled his eyes at my displeasure

Pretty good option for having a room with a balcony for acceptable price. The stuff at reception is friendly and helpful. I don't like changing my room type from king size bed to two doubles on a ground that during the night after I booked it right before the next morning something broke in a room. Strange, but in more expensive hotels things like that never happen.

We stayed at this hotel for 2 reasons. It is located right by the beach and it is located 1 block from 41st street which offers ample access to kosher eateries/ markets, as well as shulls. It made the whole stay more relaxing and enjoyable. There are stops for the Metrobus (express travel to MIA- no. 150) as well as the Miami Beach Trolley in a few blocks, which help with getting around. You do not need a rental.
The staff at the hotel do a great job. The facility itself is older and could use an update. We got this hotel as part of a travel package. It was a great experience.

I would stay at this hotel again in a heartbeat! Very convenient, easy access to the beach and boardwalk and lots of restaurants nearby. The staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful. The beds were a little hard, but not uncomfortable. The hotel was clean and I felt very safe. 10/10 would recommend!!

Overall it was a good family friendly hotel, only one bad thing that I must share is that in order for us to get hot water we had to let the water run for legit 5-10 minutes. The sink water was the worse that barely got warm at all. We love hot showers so if you want a nice hot shower I wouldn’t stay here. Otherwise everything else was great. Pool was a nice decent size for my kids and I loved the convenience of the beach being right there.
P.S my kids LOVED the breakfast buffet at the restaurant there was 1 gentleman in particular working at the Aqua restaurant which was the friendliest person EVER! We appreciate his kindness

During check in my key cards didn’t work and got reactivated and still didn’t work, so had to use the actual key to the lock to the door to access my room during my stay! No cable service the whole weekend! Also parking is limited and the charge to park is a little high to be staying at the resort!

Property was amazing. Nice view to the beach. Got wristbands to have towels and chairs and umbrellas provided while at the beach. Beach was walking distance. It was quiet and local to places to eat.

This property smelled horrible. We had to buy plug-ins for the room. The furniture was cracked up. The bed was hard and the restroom wasn’t they clean. Notify staff about the room and they response was we have no other rooms that will accommodate the room that you have. The only thing I enjoyed was the beach was a short walk, and the partial ocean view.

Great location!
right by the boardwalk and the property has a refreshing scent. The room is a bit outdated but it is functional. Only issue is very limited onsite parking. Offsite offered charges a lot. Street parking is a better option. Close to CVS too.

Got there and they had put us in a very small corner room bathroom dirty. They transferred us to another room in the morning took shower no soap or shampoo requested they fill them. They didn’t had to go back that evening and requested again. Also sent them to refill coffee. At check out they charged 75 for parking which they did not tell us about at check in over all I would suggest this hotel to young people not looking for much. www will not be back

Numerous customer complaints about the air conditioning. Room temperature would not go below 74 no matter how low you set the thermostat. Don’t waste your $18 for breakfast buffet, not worth it. Better food elsewhere.

They have a Hispanic person answering the phone and giving wrong information to the customers, that was the first issue. After that we arrived to the hotel and we ask the front person that is the same Hispanic person we’re we will need to park the car and he said to wait outside 10 to 20 minutes because he was busy doing something else. After waiting o er 1/2 hour I went back and with a really bad actitud he said that anyway he didn’t need to take care of us because the ck in was after 4 pm. I did called after 8 am because we were in a Cruze with Carnival and he said that there was early Ck in for extra cost and I was fine with the extra charges. The manager that did the ck in gave me 2 temporary keys and said that she will be calling as soonest the room was ready and she never called. After that I called from the pool again after 3 pm and the same Hispanic person said that the room wasn’t ready yet. At 4:15 pm we just walk in and they had all new staff and the Person that gave us the key said the room was ready and available from 1 pm. We explain the person at the counter all the inconvenience that we had to go true and he apologies for all the inconvenience. This is not a good service for a place like this. Also I don’t want to forget to mention that the Hispanic person that is the concesionarte person look at us and told us that it was impossible that we had rented room 1015 that the room was to expensive. And looked at us like we weee nothing. Really bad service.

No hot water in the shower , only in the sinks. If you like taking hot showers, you can’t here . The water in the showers are barely Luke warm . I informed the front desk twice but nothing was done about it . Also the AC makes loud noises when on auto . It was hard to sleep with it making those loud noises all night . Did not sleep well the few nights we were there and couldn’t wait to get home to take a HOT shower again.TV only has about 10 cable channels and two of the channels have no sound and the rest are full of static and hard to see.

AWESOME STAY EVERY-TIME WE VISIT THE 305
Third time staying at this hotel. Every time our service has been nothing short of amazing. The staff is extremely accommodating and very pleasant. Every time we stayed we were in the king ocean front balcony room with the large wrap around balcony. Enjoyed the view and having access to the beach. The resort fee that’s included in the stay includes access to the beach, 2 beach chair & umbrella for use on the beach, 2 bottle of waters, and so much more.

Good - but wish it had parking space!
The hotel is nice, a small pool, and very easy access to the beach makes it ideal.
My two complaints are: next to no parking! And the concierge was pretty useless so we had to drive around to find a place to park overnight (tip, head across the street if you're willing to dish out an extra $55!), so take it into consideration.
My other complaint was the service. It was pretty average. The concierge again, not very helpful at all when we required some guidance. Like it was not his concern to help the guests at the hotel that was paying him. Otherwise, service was good enough.
Restaurant was surprisingly good for a hotel! And the dishes were large for the price in Miami Beach. Much better than overpaying for a measly dinner out if you want to take that risk.
Bar at the pool is the best, nothing better than relaxing with a drink to watch the sunset!

We had a great time. Room was very clean. The hotel smelled AMAZING. We were very impressed with Walter, he was so accommodating and friendly. He made sure every guest was taken care of. I would recommend and return to this property in the future.

Discussing hotel. Water dropping from ceiling in corridors, carpets very old and crinkled, got stuck in lift and the emergency call button wasn't connected, Staff at Front desk VERY rude. Charged additional fees without authorisation (they have since refunded). I would avoid staying here at all costs.

Arrived early, checked in early. A manager named Brian had me file out paperwork, said put your phone number done and we will call you when your room is ready. There was no parking available at the hotel, parked 2 blocks away. Then watched other guest park at the hotel after being told there was no parking. After a while say other guest that were waiting for rooms get called and get rooms. We were still waiting. Our room was available for 30 minutes and no one called us or came and got us, even though we sat in the lobby right in front of guest check in. Extremely disappointed in the customer service! Overall room is nice , view is nice.

I recently stayed at Best Western Pls Atlantic Beach Resort. The rooms were not bad, but the hallway had an unpleasant odor that was hard to ignore. Customer service was lacking, and the parking area was poorly organized(bad).
