I absolutely loved staying at this hotel. It is absolutely beautiful, spotless, and the view is spectacular. The breakfast was amazing. I am a very picky eater, and there was plenty for me to choose from. If I have to nitpick about something, I wish there was a list of channels on the TV in the room somewhere.

Non-disclosure on pool being closed prior to booking. Continental breakfast is what it is. Room was clean, site was clean. Balcony furniture should be addressed. Do not recommend roof top bar or food.

The pool was closed 4 out of the 5 days we stayed in Edge hotel. Construction being done nearby made it very noisy. One day we did not get housekeeping. Also the deck floating outside the hotel was very noisy due to the wind.

We were so excited to stay based on the look of the pool area. Unfortunately, the pool was closed for maintenance for the 3 nice days we could have used it. Access was available to the pool next door, but their staff was rude. I asked for a comp and was offered $32 total. It felt like a slap in the face.

We really liked the edge hotel for the location, the beach is in walking distance. Lots of dining options in the area. The room we were assigned had stains all over the carpets, the bathroom had a tile broken around the border, and there was a hole in the closet door. Definitely not expecting the room condition for how much you pay to stay here. Other than that always a fan of the edge hotel.

Great hotel that is LITERALLY right on the Edge of the ocean. Great views from our suite.
Front desk folks were so helpful. Noah at the desk could not have been nicer! So polite and helpful. We will be coming back!!

This hotel sets right on the ocean. The view is beautiful. The rooms are very nice and clean. Parking lot was very close to the room. Lady in the gift shop will tell you EVERYTHING you need to see in the area and is very helpful. This hotel has a VERY nice rooftop bar on the 10th floor and the nachos are the BOMB. Food and Service there was over the top. They did everything they could to make us comfortable. The VIEW from there is OUTSTANDING!! The bar employees work hard to please some major groups of people at times. Everyone was having a great time. This hotel is BETTER than any chain hotel around Clearwater. We will be back. Beautiful property.

Room was quite sparse. Only one chair (for two people). TV guide system was a mystery and complicated and there were no instructions anywhere.
Hotel amenities were also sparse. No information on surrounding area, no real restaurant, lobby and hallways were over airconditioned.

The Edge has been our "go to" hotel for several years. We still on planning on booking for our next visit to Clearwater Beach, but did notice some minor wear and tear with the heavily used areas such as elevators and the lobby rest rooms. These concerns should really be addressed by management during routine tours of the facility.

Great location, beautiful ocean views from our room balcony, dolphin sighting every day from our room! The Infinity pool was wonderful with gorgeous views! The Rooftop restaurant has beautiful views of the entire island and the ocean! Not to mention the delicious food! The lobby area was nicely decorated for the holidays as well!

Front desk help takes forever e were the only ones checking in and stood at the front desk for 10 minutes.. the property was on the beach nope no beach around there were tiny ants all over our bathroom and they charge me a extra 230 when i arrived fir hitel fees but i didn't have a car to park and the free breakfast was only a banana and yogurt no hit breakfast at all . I will not stay here again

We love this hotel. Nice location and very clean. The only thing that made me a little upset is the resort fee as the pool was closed and the restaurant upstairs was closed as it was pouring rain and windy. With the restaurant being closed we had to leave property to be able to get dinner. I feel on these types of days the resort fee should be cut in half as I know it includes the breakfast.

We loved the view, the location, the housekeeping was fantastic, the holiday decorations, the beach!!! We saw dolpins each morning on our gulf facing balcony. Breakfast had all of the typical hotel options, the pools were beautiful & warm, even in December! Food at the roof-top restaurant was delicious & fast. Every staff member we met was smiling & friendly.

You are paying for the view at this property and the view is amazing. We had an ocean front room and were amazed the second we walked in. We’ve stayed in several hotels in CWB and this was by far our best view. We watched the sunset and dolphins from our deck. That said, there were things I wasn’t impressed with. Not once when we entered the lobby was anyone at the front desk so we were always waiting. The lobby is beautiful though. Great Christmas decorations. The pool bar was closed and I get it was cold earlier in the week and not terribly busy when we were there but we still went out and sat by the pool and a drink would have been nice. And for the price we paid and the resort fees a bottle of water next to our coffee pot would have been nice. And the bath towels are small. It was hard to wrap around us. It’s just the little things I guess where you are paying almost $300/night plus fees. Love the view but probably won’t stay here again.

Likes: comfortable bed and linens, staff nice and welcoming, views incredible ocean side, but that's what it's all about, the ocean.
Wish it's outdoor space actually on the water was accessible to use (in the midst of some type of half reno); we had no sitting chair in our room, as another of our travel companions suite did, horrible blow dryers. the continental breakfast was eh....should have a small sandwich shop in there, would even pay for that.
Overall, would stay again.

This hotel is dangerous while we were there two people had to go to the hospital for slipping by the pool. They then close the whole pool down so no one could use it for the rest of the evening they charge hand fees for amenities I recommend any other hotel, Clearwater, besides this one

Credit cards errors
Check in took forever! No early check in was available. I informed the front desk girl that two different credit cards would be used to pay for the hotel at the end since it was both my friend and I staying in the one room. The front desk girl said she did not know how to process that on their computer system but that her manager would have to do that.
When checking out her manager was not there and no one was there to help her process the two cards. So many errors were made in processing the transaction that it maxed out my credit card!!
Later that day I called to speak with someone. Although they tried to help me they said they would email me what they were seeing on their end however they could not send an email if I had a Gmail because their system wasn't able to send gmails lately for some reason. Seems their Software System has a lot of issues. It's a great hotel in general if you don't mind problems with your credit card

The glass wall pool was a great feature. The hotel is in a great location with many amenities within walking distance including the beautiful beach. We did wish there was a hot tub and the deck on the water was under construction. Most of the staff were nice and helpful. I did not have many positive interactions with the front desk team. Most of them came off like I was bothering them.

Hotel was awesome! Very enjoyable stay.
Only downside was the housekeeping - for our 4 days, only made up the room, removed trash, fresh linens, etc 1 time. Didn't affect our time at the hotel, but seemed strange given that everything else was top-notch.

The location is great, beautiful views, the staff is nice and the rooms are clean and comfortable. We have been coming here for 3 years, and I've noticed the maintenance of the hotel is slipping a bit each year. A bit concerning, we will see how that plays out. But overall, it is a great place to stay.

Very old hotel on Clearwater Beach . Of note it’s not on beach. However is is a short walk to beach and water views are beautiful.
Rooms are old , but you get what you paid for 185 per night including continental breakfast.
Other hotels in area are a little more expensive. The pool was nice & tiki bar is pretty good . All are pub style food and salads
I wouldn’t stay here again as the Hyatt and Hilton are much nicer . Next store is the Opal Sands which is beautiful but 400 night

Nice property at an excellent location. The rooms are large and the location is excellent for walking to the Clearwater beach along with many restaurants and shops. Parking is located on site.

The property itself was great. However, the tiki bar continuously plays music 24 hrs a day. It can be heard in your room if you are poolside. It was a little frustrating. I’ve also been charged 3 separate times “because Expedia hasn’t released payment”. We already paid $580 for 2 nights and I have $500 in pending charges because of this. Frustrated to say the least.

I always stay at Edge Hotel. Always very satisfied with the quality of the hotel and the amenities. Great pool and rooftop bar. Close walk to the beach and good restaurants. Highly recommend.

It was a good stay. Clean with lots of amenities. However, not a great choice of breakfast options. Just some bagels, cereal, fruits, pancakes, and bagels. The only protein choice was cold boiled eggs.

Developed an itchy rash after staying at this hotel. I run an urgent care and I am certain the rash is from bed bugs. We did not go out to the beach nor were we exposed to any other insects outside in the roof top pool area during the day. Called the manager to warn them and he did not seem too concerned.

Rooms were spacious and clean staff was very friendly and accommodating and justin at the pool bar was excellent. My only recommendation would be a hot breakfast bar like eggs, bacon or sausage, gravy and biscuits. We enjoyed are stay and is in a good location to everything we will be returning for sure in the future

Another great stay at Edge!
Perhaps the compliment that can be given is repeat business. Even with all the options on Clearwater Beach, we still decide to stay at Edge! A clean, beautiful hotel close to the beach and walking distance from restaurants, bars, and the marina. It’s a great hotel for families, with multiple food options on site. Definitely recommend!

Staying at The Edge on Clearwater Beach
We enjoyed our stay at the attractive Edge Hotel. I loved the large pool for swimming laps, the pool area, and the music. We enjoyed our wonderful room and the view from our balcony. We enjoyed the delicious variety of breakfast foods available to us each morning of our stay. We liked the rooftop Jimmy’s, and the large big screen for watching my favorite college team play and Win.

We used to stay at this place every time we visit Clear Water but unfortunately this place is overpriced for the services and breakfast they provide. Their breakfast is only yogurt, bagels, coffee and cereal. They don’t have real warm breakfast. I will look for a different place to stay next time we visit the beach.

This is our 3rd time staying at The Edge in Clearwater Beach. The hotel was very clean, the staff was very friendly. The cost of food and drinks was very reasonable, which was a pleasant surprise. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Loved our stay! Gulf facing room. Great free breakfast. Staff friendly and helpful. Rooftop restaurant was convenient and food delish. Recommend beach access at Shepherds two hotel 2 minute walk to the south rather than public beach 5 minute walk north.

Loved staying at the edge and the amazing sunsets. I’ll definitely be back. Only draw back were some of the guests that were slobs, definitely not the hotels fault. Staff kept the majority of the area clean. Just a few people that didn’t know how to throw out their empty drink cups and cans. The infinity pool was really cool especially at sunset.

We had an excellent vacation at this place. This property is very clean and well-maintained. Loved the infinity pool and the bar at the pools. I would have given 5 stars if they offered a few more options for the breakfast but I am glad that it was free. Another great thing is that Parking is covered by the amenities fee.

The infinity pool is crazy full of people and kids and although a great photo op, the pool itself is cloudy and gross. To top it off, the morning we were supposed to check out we went and grabbed breakfast, and headed back upstsir at 9AM to go change and hit the pool for an hour before we checked out. While we were all undressed (including my mother and 9 year old daughter) someone from housekeeping let themselves into our room. We all started screaming and they shut the door and RAN. When we went to the front desk all the guy behind the desk said was "we will investigate it" and pretty much that was that. So beware they are letting themselves into your room when they assume you are gone, even if the sign is on the door. Also, the beach is a 10 minute walk from the hotel. There is no direct access to the beach.

Clean facility, friendly staff. The elevators were a bit confusing, and the tiled area around the pool/bar is a bit of a hazard - standing water is expected, but makes it slippery. They should address this liability! Overall, a good stay!

VERY close to the beaches but not ON the beaches so the traffic at the Edge is non-existent. This hotel and the staff are AMAZING and the next time I come to Clearwater Beach, I will not HESITATE to stay here again

The only thing I didn't like was the maid at 630pm asking a 15yr to sign a paper when i was out of the room. Dont know what she signed but they should of not just came in the room and did that.She didn't even open the door they did.

I wanted to love this hotel, but I didn't.
Room was nice view of the water was nice.Bed not very comfortable. Pool deck very slippery. Only one bartender for drinks so long waits. For this size hotel it should have had a waitress taking drinks and food. Could smell pot at times while at the pool and outside on balcony. Loved the Taco bus and good ice cream right across the street.I have stayed at many hotels in Clearwater and this was not one of my favorites and I don’t think I'll be back
