This is a very affordable hotel. Rooms are clean. A bit noisy being next to the Interstate. Probably not as noisy on the back side of the hotel.

Reception desk said they didn't receive payment from Expedia. I have to contact with Expedia. Fortunately Expedia contacted with them and I got key half hour later. The first guy told me he will not charge me dog fee. When I took key, second guy came. He asked dog fee. It's confused.

No towels or garbage cans in room. Coffee maker did not work. As waiting to check in 3 people asked for towels and 1 came in for coffee maker was broke. FLOOR were horribly dirty. Our feet were extremely dirty, should have figured that out w/ my dirty socks. Dust bunny's in every corner. Only positive comment is the bed was comfortable.

Run don’t walk to a different hotel!!!
The front clerk was literally drunk and locked himself out of the office and couldn’t remember the door code to get in so I could check in. After 15 minutes of watching him stumble and miss enter the code the only explanation he could muster was to shrug and mumble “ I don’t know what’s going on “. But here’s the best part the hotel and hotels.com refused to refund my money.

Why Stay, your Brand is meaningless…
The room was not to my satisfaction, the quilt had stains all over it, so did the pillowcases, there was a dirty towels on the top of the shower curtain rod, not removed, the baseboard trim was a nice quality and at lease 5” high but was dirty, and the paint job was incomplete, the television have good reception Wi-Fi was good, but l could not go into the closet because the door handle to the closet was missing, the main door leading to the room 224, was very very hard to open and close, the breakfast had promise, waffles, but no syrup, and coffee, but no cream watered down juice that tasted like well, water, l will never stay there again, and never recommend this hotel.…why don’t you hire someone like me to tell you guys the truth about your brand..or l think your quality control people should go there right away, unannounced, see for yourself, your brand will not mean anything in the future if you don’t do something…points don’t mean anything now….

I will definitely skip this place next time.
The workers were nice but room and hotel are very run down. I usually don’t care about a lot of things but the truck noise from the interstate was almost unbearable. I turned my white noise on high and placed right by my ear. The towels they handed me at check in were very dingy. After checking for bed bugs which was all clear I was surprised to find the bed comfortable.

When I first checked they give me a room with no electricity then I had to wait a hour for a new room. A hour and 30 min later I get a new room with dirty sheets no towels and dirty floor I would not be staying there again..

When we got there after 4pm, the room was not ready for check in. They had not cleaned it. They gave me the keys, at my request, as I would be coming back later. When I got back, the key did not work and someone came out of the room (apparently it was a homeless guy) :0 It appears they left the door open and someone got in and slept on the bed!! They provided another room, with limited toiletries, old and worn out towels, noisy beds, no trash cans, and no TV!!!! It was late, so we had no choice, but this place is unsafe and not ready to host people.

The staff was nice but the facility was old, run down and dirty. The room did not have curtains and there were bright lights outside our room at all hours so the room was bright to try to sleep in. Would not recommend.

For the price paid I expected a lot better experience. The staff conducting check in was slow and not very friendly. The room that we were sold was old and needed to be upgraded. Out window looked out into the elevator. The air conditioning ran all night no matter the setting. There were no towels in the room although house keeping
was in the hall and b got us some. The coffee service in the room had no cups. Overall it was a poorly run property.

this was a great place to stop and get some zzz, Bath Towels were small and looked to be used to clean up from the renovations that was recently done at this hotel. We used our back ups that we carry with us. Drywall mud was on towels on all wall that was behind you when you are at the sink. drywall dust on furniture's top , water will clean that up and and in spots of floor .
We just needed a place to stay for some sleep before getting back on the road home. Looks like they are trying fix the place up . thanks for the comfrtable king bed.

Not Bad, But...
The rooms we rented were clean and we felt safe where we stayed. Parking was ample as well. Sequoia was our front desk attendant who was cordial and answered questions about the area (where to eat, events, etc.). We would have preferred that the hotel proprietor had been upfront in the listing about the renovation project. We were hoping to use the fitness room which was totally dismantled.

Friendly, but hazardous.
The front desk was very friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately, the building is falling apart. There are soft spots in the floor, outlet covers missing. Dresser drawers that won't close. Our bed wasn't even correctly placed over it's base, so there were boards just sticking out on one side. All of the upholstered chairs in the breakfast room were horribly stained and looked filthy. We won't be back.

This property was not accurately described as a motel -- with outside entry doors. The room I booked was described as a king suite, which means there is a some division between the sleeping space and some small living space -- this was not true. It was a king room, not a suite. The shower curtain was threadbare to the point of having an actual hole. The electrical junction box (at the outlet) was hanging off the wall. I have stayed at Baymont properties before and they were not disappointing. I will not stay at this location again and will strongly reconsider Baymont in the future.

We were desperate for a room in a city for a college football game. The room rate was far to much for the quality of hotel. They had no staff to clean the room so it was hours after the check in time before we could get in our room. The staff at reception were very nice and working under hard conditions.

Room is facing the interstate. Noise is terrible. People in room above are loud walking around. Hair on bathroom floor AND on sheets. There is no way the sheets were fresh. It’s disgusting.

Our employee stayed here and I didn't hear of any hassle checking in so I am grateful for that because it's such a hassle with corporate bookings at most hotels. Also, Shawn was very busy , but kept a professional and friendly when answering the phones.

Less than Motel-6 quality😡
I canceled my stay. This hotel is not a Baymont! Stop it. Just stop it! Using the Baymont name and delivering less then Motel-6 quality. There was pet hair and stains (all sorts) in the beds of 4 different rooms. There is no excuse for having blood stained pillowcases & sheets. Do better and be better.

Loud road noise
Issued key to room that was occupied. Returned to front desk.
Give another room but not issued any keys. Hallway was behind a door that needed a key and of course room needed a key as well. We were pretty much stuck in our room. Guy at desk said he would bring the keys but didn’t. Lucky it was only 1 night stay. Don’t plan to return to this property road noise was load and property needs an update soon not just a coat of paint.
Overall it wasn’t pleasant but it worked for a short stay. I did feel safe at the property.

Not worth the price.
I booked this place for just one night. When I arrived, the room they gave me already had someone in it. They fixed it and gave me another room. The hotel is run-down, and the room had a stain on the bedding and black dirt came out when I turned the shower on. Eventually it stopped. I had family stay at another hotel for $20 dollars more and it was much, much better than this. So I felt a little ripped off. I’m not picky at all when it comes to cheaper hotels, but I totally overpaid for this one.

Good price for game day weekend. Pet-friendly rooms. Our room was missing a TV HDMI cable and any waste bins. The TV channels didnt include any national stations, it was all local and nothing was worth watching. Theres nit mu h within walking distance, but a 5 min drive there are a lot of options.

Safety and privacy
With the price point and previous reviews I didn’t have five star expectations by any means, but we ended up driving three hours home in the middle of the night because there was not a suitable room for us to sleep in. The room was fair at best, in the back of the hotel on the ground floor adjacent the parking lot. The curtains came off the wall and the window was wide open to the parking lot, lights and anyone passing by. The staff tried to fix but ended up making it worse, there were no other rooms available for me and my child. I’m sure this is not a common occurrence but still, the place was cheap, clearly the curtains and rods were.

I am extremely disappointed in my stay at the Baymont by Wyndham. The overwhelming smell of nicotine smoke was absolutely sickening. It's really disappointing that when I address the issue of Baymont by Wyndham in Expedia refuse to provide any compensation. I am very disappointed in the service that was provided in the condition of the room.

Cons: Constant traffic noise from I-75, the property is dirty, with a lot of litter, sketchy people showing up on the property, frequent police presence. (At one point, 6 Alachua County Sherriff cars were in the parking lot.)
Pros: They are trying to fix up the rooms. The location was convenient for shopping and restaurants. The front desk people were helpful.
Personally, I would never stay there again.

The room looked like it wasnt cleaned. There was dirt on the bed, the TV was on, and the water was running. The back of the building feels really unsafe. The pictures look nice but it did not live up to the pictures. I cannot recommend this place.

It is not the staff's fault, but when we arrived, Expedia (I was specifically using cheaptickets.com) had double booked a lot of rooms, and we were all being turned away.

Despite reserving a room weeks in advance, they canceled my room without notice! They did the same to the 2 customers in line in front of me, as well—leaving us all without a place to stay! The place was not desirable at all, anyway, probably not renovated in 40 to 50 years. Steer clear of this place!!

The property was fine, however, Expedia forwarded a very large line of people with un-verified reservations which, obviously, the hotel d had zero knowledge of or the availability to service them. I witnessed the staff handle a tough situation NOT of their doing in a very professional manner. Nevertheless, the property is dated and better housekeeping is always welcome.

Where to start... room smelled musty. Bed sheets when i pulled them down had dirty dog prints on them, not stain dirt that brushed and smeared. Floor dirty and gritty. Only 1 of 3 ligjt bulbs above the vanity worked. Plug at the sink didn't work. Ironing board had no cover couldn't use. Saw cocroach es outside the room. My daughter and son in law had a separate room withvery similar issues.

Room had clearly not been cleaned. The bathroom had little curly hairs all over the place from someone shaving- in the shower, on the floor, and in the sink. The bed had little particles all over it, and no pillow cases on any of the pillows.
Fortunately, the manager was friendly enough; I went down to the office and asked them for a whole new change of bed linens and new pillow cases. After making the bed with new sheets, I was able to get a good night's sleep at least. While there, I didn't even sit down on the couch out of concern for cleanliness. Also, there were two pieces of wood sticking out the side of the bed. Other people were coming down to the office and complaining of similar issues while I was down there. Cleanliness is severely lacking.

Not very pleased at all
My family and I arrived around 11pm. The property is old and looked warn down, not well taken care of. When we opened the door to the room, it smelled of old, wet, storage space. There were roaches on the floor and dead flying ants. The floor had not been swept and the bathtub was dirty as well. When I told the front desk, they advised that the place was under new management and there was nothing they could do.

DO NOT GO HERE
Wow. What an experience. We booked it because it said it had a pool, but the pool was green and closed. We went up to our room, which did not have a room number on the outside of the door (it had been chipped off) and went inside. The refrigerator didn't work and we asked for someone to look at it, but they said the person was gone for the day. We were not given another room, so my food went bad. There was only one towel in the room so I called down, but it was busy signal for over an hour. I went downstairs and asked for soap and towels. They said they were out of soap. What? They gave me one towel. The room was dusty and dirty. When you laid down in bed and looked at the floor you could see dust and grime and garbage behind the nightstand. We kept the air conditioner on, but it was struggling. We did try to go see what breakfast was the next day, but the chaffing dishes were completely empty. We went back in a half an hour and they was still no food. There were no tea bags, but was hot water. So pretty much you could have toast or some small apples. At night it was very loud, you could hear the people talking in the next room. There also happened to be a large group of landscape workers who were very loud from around mid afternoon until past 10 p.m. I went out and asked them to quiet down, as the front desk did not answer again. It was overall horrific and I don't think it should be on any website. I won't stay at a Wyndham property again.

This property is rundown, not cared for. The manager is rude and inconsiderate. He cursed at a child this morning during breakfast service. The pool is completely out of order which we were not told prior to our visit. The “breakfast” was fine yesterday and served cold sausage this morning no eggs, ect. Holes in the ceiling in lobby. Fire extinguisher boxes and emergency warning signs either broke open or none existent. Room number placards missing. Refrigerator in room had not been cleaned in who know how long it was moldy there was mold growing on the ceiling in the bathroom. Many places a customer could fall and get injuried. Huge hole beside parking area where there must have been a tree at some point. Customer service rep at desk very slow and double charged my card and has yet to be refunded. Definitely would steer clear in the future

The gentleman that checked us in was very nice. He called our room and even asked how it was and to inform me that I had l left my driver's license when I checked in. At the time I had no complaints but we were missing washcloths. I did notice that there was coffee but no coffee pot in our room. The next morning when my mom went to get in the shower a wash cloth had been left hanging on the shower rod. So, I was satisfied with house keeping.

The head of the mattress was mashed down, that my head was lower than my feet, even with a pillow. I had to use 3 pillows to raise my head above my feet. Parts of the A/C housing was laying on the floor under it. Trash bags were left out on the walkway, leaking out. When the bags were later picked up, the leaked trash was not cleaned up. When checking in, the staff was very nice but, the computer was very, very slow, it took a very long time to finish checking in. The room was clean but every thing in the room looked cheep and old. However, the stay was acceptable for this price range, these days, and compared to others that I have stayed, I still favor the Baymont by far.

This was unbelievable that you would suggest as a property smoke detector ripped off wall piece meal broken furniture NO amenities including water or even an ice machine filthy as close to a rundown crack motel as I have ever seen had to get a another room at a different place and spent 2x the money

This motel had just reopened and I presume they will get better. The staff was pleasant. It took 25 minutes to check in with only one person in front of me. When I went to the room there were small piles up trash in front of every door in the hallway that remained there for hours. Inside the room there where no towels or toiletries the TV did not work, the phone did not work, there was no iron. There was a broken off blue finger nail on the counter. One of the beds had no pillowcases. I requested that everything be fixed, towels and toiletries where delivered to the room that is it. I was there for there 3 nights. The room was never cleaned again, nor garbage removed or fresh towels given even though I requested it each day. All and all not a motel I would ever visit again or recommend.

Horrible Hotel
The room was filthy, hair in the bed, stains on both chairs in the room, bathroom was not clean. We refused to stay in the room, and as we were checking out the entire lobby smelled like Marijuana. Horrible area, and horrible hotel, do yourself a favor and avoid this hotel at all cost.

Our stay was pleasant, unfortunately our rooms faced I 75 and it gets noisy. The Hotel needs a remodel desperately, however the staff is courteous and attentive. They also had decent pricing in lieu of the exalted prices everywhere else

This was by far the most disappointing hotel stay I've ever had, The place was very dirty. Hairs in the bathroom and on the pillows. When you turn the shower on black water came out ,, awful! The linen on the bed wasnt sure if it had been changed. The AC was very cold .. yay!

Received three times keys for uncleaned and still dirty rooms. Last room had dirty popcorn sealing. Windows need to be replaced. Lighs not working. Fridge door was damaged and hard to open and close. The hotel staff was brand new and struggling to get their system to connect with third party reservations (Expedia, etc.). The manager was called. He arrived and proceeded to sit behind the desk, holding a phone to his ear for over an hour, without speaking to anyone on the phone or in person, or offering any suggestions to solve the issues. At one point there were 15 people in the lobby who had been there for hours. They should have gotten all of us into our rooms and then spent the night figuring out the hotel’s system issues. This was their problem, not ours. Worst. Customer. Service. Ever.
After finally getting into our room, 2 hours later, we didn’t have towels, soap or a battery in the smoke alarm (which was beeping). We went back to the front desk and were given a battery. We found a cleaning person in the hall who gave us towels. Never got the soap.
Will NEVER stay at a Baymont by Wyndham again.

We will never go there again. The beds were too high, the floors were filthy dirty, the toilet was too low...more for a child to use. This room looked nothing like what we saw in the picture online! Not too many people were renting there. We couldn't wait to check out of that room.

You get what you pay for. Very noisy AC unit, Had to put on noise canceling earbuds. Night stands had liquid rings from previous occupant. No WiFi password provided on key wallet. Good, clean comfortable bed.
