On the positive side, the staff were friendly and attentive. On the negative side the place was not cleaned properly. The elevator floor was dirty.
Our room had no soap in the shower dispenser.
The common area was not clean either.
Breakfast tables were not cleaned after each guest finished breakfast.
On the plus side, afternoon cookies were excellent.
All in all, this place did not meet my expectations for a Marriott branded hotel for cleanliness.
The front reception staff were excellent.

Always a Great Stay
This is my go-to hotel when I come to my hometown. The service is always excellent. The hotel and rooms are always clean. No issues with noise or noisy guests. Just a great place to stay. It does seem like the price is going up, though.

Everything was great but the breakfast. Waffle maker was not available. Also, food staff did not replenish anything with over an hour left to eat. The hotel was very clean. Thankfully the air conditioner worked very well because it was extremely hot out.

Stay generally OKAY. Problem was Palmetto Bug spotted on wall of the room. We saw it on last day. My wife freaked out and was fretting that our clothes and luggage may carry stowaways back home with us.

This is my go-to hotel when I visit my hometown. Everything was great, as usual.
My only problem was selfish hotel guests taking up multiple parking spaces. Three different vehicles took up AT LEAST 10 parking spaces. One was a mobile clinic. Another was a utility van. The last vehicle was a truck towing something. Luckily someone was checking out when I came back to the hotel that night/early morning. I was able to get their spot. If not, my 52 year old, partially disabled self would've been very uncomfortable parking off-site.

We love the Fairfield hotels with the separate area for the kids. And I have never experienced this but when my son went to lay down on the bed he said was stinky, but only when he laid down. It wasn’t the pillow but the bed and the sheets. It was late I didn’t complain but I had him sleep on top of them. It was really gross

The room was very nice and clean but lacked enough towels.
The morning breakfast has many options but was wiped out by 7:30 and slow to restock. One person seemed to have to work the desk and the breakfast.

Another great stay!
This is my go-to hotel when I visit my hometown. It is always clean. The staff are always helpful and courteous. I actually ate breakfast there this time. It was a good, hot breakfast . . . not just waffles.

Hotel is average at best with small rooms, no microwave, and it was difficult to control the temp in the room. . I stay in this area a lot and there are better options for the same price. The staff was great which means a lot nowadays. The breakfast was subpar compared to other local hotels but it will do in a pinch.

Another Great Stay!
This was my second stay at this location. I got the same great service and the same clean, quiet hotel stay that I had the last time. I didn't have the breakfast so I can't provide a review of that. The location is great, close to restaurants and shopping. I felt safe staying there alone.

The bed was very comfortable. The room smelled clean and fresh.
I would recommend that when training new employees to teach them where all amenities are stored.
Our last night there we requested coffee packets for our room. Sadly the night clerk had no idea where to find them. She felt bad about not being able to help us.
We had to obtain coffee from the lobby.

Okay price but you take out the garbage
The staff at reception were nice and helpful. I had to go to them a lot because in 4 days I never got any maid service. No garbage emptied (I did it myself), no coffee replacement, no cup replacement, no taking away used towels. When I told reception they would say, I’m sorry, but never made sure it was done the next day.

Check in and check out were a breeze. Lilly and Alexis were pleasant, friendly, and helpful.
Initially our room had a very strong odor of cologne, but it dissipated once we got the air going so it was not a problem.

Very neat, clean, quiet. Breakfast was excellent, with scrambled eggs, ham, cheese, egg sandwiches, fruits, juices, milk, oatmeal, grits, scones, cinnamon buns, really one of the best hotel breakfasts included with room I have seen. I would highly recommend this location! Staff was also incredibly kind!

Overall good place
Was surprised to have 2 full beds instead of queens when we checked in, but that was my fault for not paying attention when I booked. Overall stay was good. Hotel & room was clean. Staff was friendly. I liked that it was located to a few restaurants & a gas station as well.

Great stay!
This was a great stay from check-in to check-out. The hotel common areas and room were clean. The front desk staff were pleasant and helpful. I didn't have breakfast there because I met my friends at a local restaurant.
At the last minute, one of my friends needed a room. He saw my room and immediately made his own reservation. I would definitely stay there again.

A Taste of Real Southern Hospitality
Perfect location/amenities for a week-long stay. High-ceiling rooms and room layout made room feel very large and comfortable. On-site guest laundry a plus. Hotel staff very accommodating on all levels! Situated in an area off the main road filled with good restaurants a walkable distance away, even including a first-run Regal movie theater! Breakfast choices were plentiful and delicious and included a varying selection of hot choices (which is a rarity since COVID.) Stay included an unanticipated evening power outage caused by a nearby lightning-struck tree falling and taking out a transformer pole and wires. Hotel staff kept us abreast of repair status and, when it was clear the outage would last several hours, offered guests the option to transfer to another nearby Marriott property or have charges for that evening removed. The following morning, before testing fire alarms post-outage, staff kindly called and informed us, generously offering earplugs to those who may be sensitive to the loud noise. Perfect location between Clemson U (11 miles west) and Anderson (5 miles east.) Definitely would plan to stay here again while in the area!

Because of COVID, breakfast was pre-packaged stuff mostly. Not the greatest but adequate. The staff were all friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay there again if I was in that area.

The staff was courteous and pleasant during my checking. I called ahead of time to request an hour early check in and they were very accommodating. The facility was clean and comfortable and very quiet which I appreciated. The room appeared modern and comfortable. I did not like that there was no microwave in the room but I just adjusted my plans around needing one. I had a work conference call the day of my check out and I wasn’t going to make 11 a.m. check out. I called and asked could I check out 20-30 minutes later and they pushed my check out to 12 as a courtesy.

Beyond Amazing Service!
I arrived very late, exhausted; and the Front Desk person was extraordinarily helpful, as were those in the morning! I was surprised to learn, in contrast to all other hotels, that administrators were still using neurotoxic laundry products that other hotels eschewed in the 1990s. I could not take even one breath without pain, nor therefore sleep, despite efforts to cover linens with my own sheet and clothes. My throat started to close off, so had to move to another room with nontoxic linens at 5am. Alas, from early morning, yelling Latinos next door had rowdy children playing booming video games at the wall next to my bed, and then running in the hallway throwing a ball. Nevertheless, the front desk provided exquisite help to protect me, going beyond the call of duty to provide me much-needed sleep.
