Everything I wanted in a hotel; clean, safe, pet-friendly, quiet, nice area to walk my dog, full breakfast options. Room was very comfortable and spacious. I would definitely stay here again if in the area.

MH Equipment Forklift Dealer is next door. Our room window faced it's "repair area". It can get VERY loud. I'd recomment staying off the first floor in that area.

Very convenient to Ottawa. Nice hotel with pretty good mattress and pillows, great shower although I prefer walk-ins. Staff was excellent, very helpful and friendly

The hotel is a dump, would never stay there again. Room carpet stained with I don't what, mold around tub, comforter also had a stain on it. Step into the tub and it sounds like it's going to fall through the floor. Fortunately was only there for less than 8 hours.

The pool is out for 2 years according to their website, but was not such when I booked the room. The ice machines did not work ~ in the summer! There was a smell (dog urine?) in the room when we first walked in. I asked for a spray, was given a plug in, but smell stayed in the room. we had to ask for towels and put out our own trash. Housekeeping ladies were pleasant when asking for room supplies. Good variety for breakfast, very friendly attendant.

JUST WHAT WE NEEDED
We stayed here because it was convenient in our travel for a wedding. It was in the right place. We had a bit of trouble with the keys not working... it took 5 tries to get the key cards to work, but Sarah did a great job of sticking to it until we got it solved.
Breakfast was nice. Sausage & Biscuits, or Eggs & Sausage. Waffles too as well as most of the other standard things.
Only complaint was the coffee was poor. It is a machine and the dark roast arrived as brown water. Stick to tea or juice.

It was extremely loud all night and early morning. Couldn't get any sleep. I know it was a holiday weekend and very busy but to be on the ground floor and still have it be so loud was not very nice.

We enjoyed our stay, staff was very friendly and professional. We stayed on the first floor, I kept seeing small ants crawling on the desk and one on the bed. Seemed weird that the curtains don’t close all the way for being on the first floor. Other than that, we enjoyed staying here.

There had clearly been water damage in the bathroom area that hadn’t been fully or properly repaired. As I walked on the floor, you felt the floor move under your feet through the area. It didn’t feel safe on the second floor. No smells/odors. Everything was clean, but I felt so unsafe, I didn’t use the shower.

Really Nice!
Pleasantly surprised at how nice and clean the room was. Usually don’t go with Comfort Inn, but this one had excellent reviews and great price so chose it and was not disappointed. Very nice plus friendly and professional check in. Highly recommend!

We changed to Comfort Inn since last year our hotel pool was 70 degrees. Comfort Inn was warmer, but probably only 80. Unfortunately the hot tub was broken! These were our #1 reasons for choosing the hotel, so we weren't happy about that.

The staff was friendly. The website don’t post the pool amd hot tub were down. Part of the reason I booked there was to have those options. Breakfast was just okay. We had to switch rooms at midnight because the air conditioning didn’t work in our room.

The staff was friendly. But the facilities were not good. The pool was closed and I was not made aware of it upon check-in. The tub had no plug so we couldn't take a bath. Biggest negative was Faux News blasting in the lobby. That should have been my first clue. For what I paid, I was extremely disappointed.

Staff was friendly especially the lady who fixed breakfast. The room had an odor of sweat and stinky socks and we had to buy some Lysol to make it go away. Otherwise, not a terrible place to rest my head at night.

We couldn’t stay. I am very allergic to cigarette smoke. The place smelled like several people were smoking in their rooms. The sheer heaviness of the cigarette stench made my throat, nose and eyes burn. I could taste the smoke. We wound up leaving around 9pm and going home because I couldn’t sleep

Disappointed this time around
Have stayed here many times, but was disappointed this time around. Main reason we choose this hotel is the hot tub…wasn’t working. No notice when the reservation was made, nor at check in. Second, could not access WiFi…kept getting a ‘no internet’ notice after the phones found the network. Third, the hard floor by the door creaked really bad, like it had water damage…should’ve been fixed long ago. At least the bed was comfortable.

The room are much larger then most rooms in this price range, very clean and the beds are very comfortable, and best if all the TV is a great size for the room, more often then not with a room this size all you get is a small TV, not here. Also the breakfast is above average, now that Covid-19 is over

The hotel is older but well maintained. The shower was wonderful. The breakfast was very yummy. To check in and out I had to call the house phone because no one was manning the desk. Checking in someone came right away. To check out he was to busy to com so I left the key on the counter.

The room itself was satisfactory but very noisy after hours. The curtains did not fully close and an outdoor sign was very bright outside the window all night. Breakfast was not kept supplied and what was there was stale or burnt. so we had to go elsewhere for breakfast. I would not stay at this particular Comfort Inn again.

Very nice!
Very nice stay! Beds were wonderful; we slept very well; room was clean; hot water,towels were large and soft; very quiet!! Good breakfast but they were out of yogurt. All things considered, we will stay here on our trip back!
Pet friendly room did not smell and the furniture was still nice and intact.

We only saw one person on staff, and she was pleasant. But the room's condition was disappointing. When we first walked into it, the room was freezing! We had to put the heat on to get it to a comfortable temperature.
I couldn't shift in my bed without the frame rubbing against the plastic baseboard and creating an awful racket.
When I locked the bathroom door, I was unable to unlock it. (The lock itself just kept spinning in the knob.) It took me a few minutes to get the door open to be able to leave the bathroom.
There was plenty to choose from for breakfast, but it was almost exclusively carbs and sugar with very little protein to choose from or other healthy options.
So, while we were grateful for a place to stay for the night, it wasn't the best hotel I've ever stayed in... My attitude though was, you get what you pay for! And we did have a clean, safe and warm place to stay. So, not complaints there...

Our check in process was quick and easy. We had multiple rooms took about 10 mins to have us on our way. Room was clean and comfortable. Location is great there are stores, restaurants and shakers across the street to have an adult beverage if you’d like. During one night of our stay there happen to be an issue but staff handled it quickly. Breakfast was good they had a few varieties of things to offer. The area around hotel was very clean. I will definitely recommend and stay at this location again.

The girl at the front desk was not very inviting. I am an anxious and shy person myself, but working in the customer service industry you need to force yourself to be outgoing and pleasant to be around. The gentleman we spoke with upon checkout was definitely a lot friendlier.
The room was clean, however, you could tell that people had been smoking previously in the rooms because the area smelled of cigarettes. The air was stale and it was very dry in the room which led to stuffy noses and congestion in the morning.
I believe the breakfast time frame should be between 6-10am instead of ending at 9.

Comfy and clean, but give me some reading light
My stay was very comfortable; the room was clean and spacious, and it had the amenities one would need and want while traveling: little frig, microwave, coffee and Keurig coffee maker, hairdryer, TV, desk. One thing I thought the room needed was brighter light bulbs in the lamps. I had a hard time reading at night because the light from the lamps was too dim.

Property was dated, room was ok but had a bit of a smell (later we discovered that a couple pillows on the bed smelled heavily of stale cigarette smoke). A bit of an odd room lay out. The door to the hallway was not terribly solid and had gouge marks around the knob. Seemed like it was rated higher than it should have been on Expedia.

Amazing Breakfast!
There were a couple minor inconveniences but they were so over-powered by the good that they’re almost not worth mentioning. So, for the “bad”, the room entry door did not automatically shutting hard enough to latch/lock properly so you had to force it to close. Also, the hot tub jets were super weak and it was filled to the TOP, which was a little uncomfortable. Now for the good! AMAZING service, very very clean rooms and common areas, and a great quality breakfast with lots of options.
