Nice hotel, close to Thomas Road and Liberty.
While we spent very little time in the room, there were only a couple of things I would suggest. The toilet rocked when sat on and made a loud noise when it hit the tile. There were a couple of hairs left on the tub. My bed was perfectly comfortable, it was quiet, and I got a good night's sleep. The complimentary breakfast was outstanding, and the coffee was great! They do add a $20 charge to your card which is supposed to fall off if not used for "incidentals". It hasn't yet, but I'll keep an eye on it as it is still pending.

Team was very friendly and accommodating. However, we did have to check out due to a moldy odor. With several health issues we just could not risk this.

It was a clean older facility that has been taken care of. The location was convenient for our trip. The staff was polite and professional helping us.

The hotel was okay, nothing over the top about it. Room seemed to be clean. The bed was very firm and you had two pillow options. It was surprisingly quiet. There were several tractors for trailers parked in the lot the night before and we didn’t hear the leave that morning. It is a college town and had lots of hotels in the area, IGH was toward the higher end of rates.

Elevator and hallways were dirty. Rooms were Okay. Lobby was Okay. Elevators were especially dirty.
All else was the typical good, Holiday Inn Express.

They had excelled beds, best of the 4 hotels we stayed at during our weeklong trip. Breakfast was ok. Pancake machine was broken. Otherwise, everything was immaculately clean.

Every staff member that I encountered was a genuinely nice person and immediately made me feel happy to be there. Breakfast and breakfast staff were excellent. Cleaning service was perfect. Pool was great for our child. Thank you.

The hotel sign is not illuminated making hotel hard to find from main street. Hummer parked taking up two handicapped spaces desk clerks did nothing to have vehicle moved or ticketed. Bathroom wall soiled, toilet paper holder rusted, no room service performed until I requested about 4pm and then it was minimal. Pancake machine not working. no oatmeal, poor selection of breakfast items. Very disappointed in this hotel.

Clean inside and the grassy areas surrounding the hotel, which was perfect for our dogs. Ample parking, convenience of going with the dogs on the side door rather than through the lobby. Clean bedding and towels. They even have a laundry room; while we did not need to use it, it is a very nice convenience to have.

This is an older HI Express that is a bit worn around the edges. The TV in our room did not work, the desk clerk came to the room and could not make it work. They offered to change rooms but we were already unpacked and decided not to. The rates are high for what you get.

This is where to stay in Lynchburg!
Exceptional accommodations and service. Clean, neat and comfortable.
Employees were polite, professional and always helpful. Cleaning staff were more of the same. Would definitely stay here again.

The staff was super nice.
The room smelled like mildew, the tub had a big stain in the middle and there was no hot water.
Buyer beware- there’s a $75 pet fee which is the highest in the area and it’s not posted on Expedia’s website. Very disappointing.

A night or two....clean & comfortable
The hotel offers a comfortable stay. The hotel is clean and staff hospitable. They offer coffee for a bit longer than breakfast times. Breakfast offers a variety and fresh self made pancakes, fruits
My only complaint is that night requests cannot be handled by staff. Their staff leaves early so anything needed must be handled personally.

A convenient room with many amenities that I liked. The exit door was very close to my room on the first floor. I had a meeting that was easy for me to get to and enjoy. Because of the rain during the night and morning, I was still able to get to the freeway and drive at a slower rate down to Charlottesville.

Two Day Business Stay
I had a great stay! Easy check-in, wonderful service, yummy breakfast. All the amenities I needed at a great price I love that they had laundry that used your card vs. quarters. Would visit again. Thank you!!!

Very nice place
Very pleasant and helpful staff. Motorcycle friendly let us park under cover. I highly recommend this place. Only down fall no walking distance to food or Adult beverages, but DoorDash came through for food. Overall a great place and great staff!

Fine place for an overnight stay
It was a solid place to stay. The property is a bit dated and we’ll used. The free breakfast was fine, but not great. For a stop on the road, it was fine.

The whole place was just very mediocre. nothing was terribly wrong with it. but there were a lot of things that could’ve been better. it’s in a difficult location to find. it’s a very old hotel that really needs a facelift. breakfast was not what I have come to expect from Holiday Inn express.

The state of the room looked great but the bathroom was not clean, there was someones hair all over the room, bed, floor and bathroom. The shower backed up like a bath and took 35 minutes to drain.
Your employee there were very helpful and kind great service.

I have never experienced where the front desk gets rooms mixed up with the customers. Me and my family relaxing in our room and the room door opens with another couple assigned to the same room we assigned to.

Almost great
Paid for 3 nights for two rooms and found out we only needed one night. Tried to make those changes online. Zero responses to mutliple messages. Finally called the local number and spoke to someone who told me that they would not refund my money but that VRBO and they would only charge me for one night. Two weeks later and several calls and discussions VRBO doesn't seem to know what's happening and they don't have your back so I've called and set up a case directly with IHG- Holiday Inn Express direct. My refund seems to be lost in "not my problem" land. Finger pointing to each other instead of trying to solve the problem. VRBO customer service is extremely frustrating and following a script which they don't want to deviate or get creative and "oh well" kinda of attitude.

Clean, comfortable, quick and easy.
Centrally located to greater Lynchburg. Easy in and out. Most importantly, they did not put me on the top floor. I prefer 1st or 2nd floor and they put me on the first floor. Everything was as it should be; clean, comfortable, quick, and easy. Would recommend and stay again myself.

I sat in the room chair to watch some TV and started to feel like something was biting me on my left arm. Didn't see anything or any mosquitos; by morning I had 11 bites on my left arm and 3 bites on my right arm. A close look and they did not look like mosquito bites.

Our stay wasn’t what we expected. The room wasn’t to clean. We had ants and one of the sheets had a stain. The smell of the room was musty. We were very tired to complain. We only stayed for one night. I do not recommend this hotel. The only one thing was good the reception staff. Very friendly.

This hotel was ok. The beds were not very comfortable, but it was neat and clean. The bathrooms are spacious. You can tell it is an older hotel. Toilets are low and the insides showed age. The breakfast was not that great. But if you need a place to lay your head to get some rest. It'll work. The staff was very nice and accommodating.

All the staff were very nice and accommodating. We killed several ants in our room throughout our stay. The community shampoo amd conditioner is just really weird. The breakfast options were ok. Wish they would of had pancakes or waffles when we were there. The refrigerator in our room barely got cold. Our room keys stopped working after the 1st night and we had to get new ones.

Our stay was amazing and the staff was so helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good food for the 2 days we did eat at Holiday Inn and Express. The housekeeping department did keep our room clean and made sure we had our essentials during our stay. It was comfortable and relaxing. It was nice to have a change of scenery. I would definitely recommend staying here again and also telling my friends about it. All the staff loved my son.
