The recommended place to stay
Our time spent there was very enjoyable. In an area that had many choices of restaurants. Our room was clean, bed comfortable but the most outstanding aspect was the service. Kassandra greeted us at the front desk with a welcome and a smile. She was helpful, pleasant and knowledgeable. Suggested a local restaurant, which we went to and had an enjoyable evening. The continental breakfast experience was very good. Michele was the attendant and did a great job. Spoke to her briefly and she was pleasant. She kept the area clean and made sure the breakfast section was constantly well stocked. When in the area, we will stay there again.

The breakfast is extensive. The staff are nice. The location is so so and theres a road behind the hotel with frequent loud muscle cars reving engines.

Great stay in Greer
Room was great! Very clean. Bathroom was great as well. Breakfast was more than adequate. In an excellent location for food and shopping. Close to North Greenville University, which is where our event was located. Would definitely stay here again, and highly recommend you do as well.

Summary
Very basic for the price. It was clean which is always important. However overall it is very subpar for what you get vs what others offer. Would readily book elsewhere for the price, but if I was in a pinch I’d take it. Cons far out way the pros.
Pros
-Quiet.
-Noise didn’t travel in the room.
-Water pressure was decent.
-Water was hot.
-Ample towels.
Cons
-The floors in the rooms are linoleum/tile, and the problem is the cleaning staff typically uses a very strong floral scent of cleaner. It gave me such a headache! Hard to sleep
-Not enough parking
-Pool permanently closed
-breakfast 6-9 (that’s early shut down)
-fitness room not 24hrs
-poor food/vending options downstairs

This property was misleading. Beds squeaked like a 30 year old rusty truck. Couldn't hardly open or close the shower door. Shower door handle loose like they was able to fall off. Breakfast was good and staff was friendly, that's the only 2 good things about this place.

Great stay- recommend!
This hotel appeared new and very well maintained. The Rooms we clean, the breakfast was well stocked with multiple options. Staff was friendly. Would stay here again!

The property was fine. Our reservation was screwed up at check in and we have yet to receive a receipt for check out. We were woken to a firedrill at 11pm and the staff gave no direction or assistance to anyone. They were more clueless then the puzzled guests hanging out of there rooms.

The front desk staff (both nighttime and daytime) were exceptionally nice. We travel all the time for sports. These employees should get a raise! Truly proactive and welcoming!

2 Sleepless Nights
I wanted to spend a little more money on a hotel than I usually would on this type of trip to ensure that I would have a restful place to recuperate in between my weekend events, which would be physically rigorous. What a mistake.
1) I was on the first floor, room 118 which is near the elevator and the breakfast room. I did not notice elevator noise, but around 5:40am both mornings, I was woken by the smell of bacon and eggs. Could be pleasant, but when you're going to sleep around 1 or 2am, you don't want to be woken up by ANYTHING at 5:40am.
2) The pillows were like sleeping on a cloud: insubstantial and unsupportive. I could not get the pillows to shape up into any sort of comfortable position for my neck. My mistake. I should have brought my own.
3) The hotel was constructed in such a way that the room doors SLAM shut. My neighbors demonstrated that fact over and over and over during times that I was trying to rest or sleep.
4) The room I was stuck in was constructed in such a way that I could hear EVERY noise from the room next door. Every cough, every wheeze, every retch, every blown nose, every bathroom noise, every bit of conversation. There was a LOT of coughing and spitting into the sink happening in the room next door (reminder: smoking is bad), and I heard ALL of it.
I gave this review 2 stars because the refrigerator kept my items cold and the lighting in the bathroom was spectacular for applying makeup. Otherwise, it was a miserable stay. Would not recommend.

Parking lot gets really full if you show up later in the night. Had to park in a neighboring businesses parking lot next to the hotel. Otherwise everything else was great. Very clean! Would stay here again.

The recent remodel was it can be nice if the details get finished. No carpet in rooms but the floors super sticky not a fan. Bathroom vent clearly needs to be replaced other wise room was very nice. Breakfast was good. Staff was great. Great hosts

OK, but no great shakes
Adequate, but some things were distracting. The room entry doors rattled when someone down the hall slammed their door. Lot of traffic noise from the side street running behind the hotel. Thin walls. The breakfast juice machine was broken, and the breakfast bar did not provide substitute bottled juice.

The hotel was very clean. They had hot breakfast every morning or you could get cereal, instant grits, muffins or a danish. Check in/out was quick and the people were friendly. The room was exactly as it was pictured online. I would stay here again.

Homeless people with no shoes were allowed to roam the hallways and staff did nothing. We felt very unsafe at this hotel. Breakfast kept closing earlier than advertised. Laundry facilities did not work. Staff were loud outside of our room in the morning. Would not recommend booking this hotel, we felt very unsafe during the entire stay. We attempted to remediate this with the manager via Expedia (Expedia were very helpful) however the manager refused to issue compensation. Terrible hotel.

Great stay! We'll be back again.
We stayed two nights over Thanksgiving, visiting family in town. The location was great, only a few minutes from their house, and there were also lots of stores and restaurants nearby. The public part of the hotel, and also our room, were very clean and modern. The breakfast room was clean and cheerful and there were enough food choices to satisfy everyone.

Pros: The entire hotel was very clean. The front desk staff on check-in was friendly.
Cons: I reported that the refrigerator in my room did not work, and it was never repaired or replaced. And - this is not the hotel’s fault - if you are a light sleeper, be aware that there is quite a bit of traffic noise all night.
