Needs updates
We have stayed here several times. Convenient location for those not spending time on the Strip. Bedding is very comfortable. The furniture, decor, and fixtures in rooms are quite dated. The furniture and fixtures show additional wear and tear across stays. Recent price increase with no updates in rooms makes our choice of this hotel in the future less likely.

Great hotel for families!
Rooms were clean, well-appointed, and updated. The hotel had all the necessities and staff was friendly. Pool was clean, not busy, and great for a family-friendly pool day. Asked for late checkout and the staff was very accommodating and even allowed paid options for even later than we expected. Only complaint with the room was that there was no dedicated exhaust fan (just a centralized vent that allowed us to hear conversations happening in the bathroom below us). Breakfast area was clean and continuously stocked, but limited in variety.
A really nice option for staying in Vegas if you want a "traditional" hotel that isn't part of a casino

The Best Western Plus West was in a good location for shopping, food and not too far from the Strip. The room was fairly clean with a complete of little issues but they didn't affect the stay or comfort.

I left my Iphone ear piece charger in the roon. When I went back it was missing. I checked my bags and around the roon 3 times to make sure I didn't misplace it. I went to the front desk and told them and they checked with the maids and said they hadn't seen it. I went back the following morning to talk to the day manager and told her what happened. She was not helpful and a little rude. I left a day early and went to another hotel. Customer service was terrible.

Room was pretty clean, bathroom was run down, faucet wobbled and was leaking. Cleaning gloves left in the room. Pool and hot tub was dirty and had to ask for pool towels both times we went. Overall not impressed, probably wouldn't stay there again.

We have to pay for an hour early check in!!! The rooms were huge but the coffee maker sucks, never worked! Our toilet was making sounds all the time! Breakfast was unattended & food & coffee run out!!! Will not come back in this hotel ever again!

Not worth the money!!
The front desk staff and lady doing breakfast were very kind. I go to Vegas four or more times a year for my children's sport tournaments and for the PGA tournament in Summerlin. I have stayed in many hotels in Vegas and never paid what I did for this one. WAY TOO MUCH!! I thought I must be getting a REALLY nice room since this a BW Plus -- nothing was really nice about this room or hotel. Not worth the money. Just some examples: My feet were black from walking on the carpet and I was hardly in my room (I wore tennis shoes to the games). The beds were very uncomfortable. There was no room to sit for breakfast. The bathroom walls had weird brown spots -- not sure if it was mold or just not clean. The room was so dusty and there was animal hair around. I wish I would've known that animals had been in the room before us, because my son and I are allergic. In the parking lot there were 2 cars that had people living in them and they would walk around the parking lot often. I will never stay here again.

This hotel is convenient to a local music venue I visit regularly. I love the indoor pool and spa. Room was large and everything was very clean. The folding door on the closet stuck and was a bit difficult to operate. Early check in was offered for a $15 add fee, which is very reasonable. Staff is very friendly.

We were treated very poorly by the staff at the hotel. The girl who checked us in was so rude. She acted like my checking in was a giant inconvenience. Also, the girl working on the breakfast room was rude. The front desk didn't communicate breakfast ended at 9:30. We thought it was 10, but we're still there at 9:20. She told me to hurry and get my food because she was closing up. Then, proceeded to start putting things away so I couldn't get to the food. I noticed 3 other groups come in for food and also be treated poorly by the same employee. I'm not expecting star treatment, but a little kindness goes a long way. I would definitely choose to stay elsewhere based on the way we were treated.

Overall the staff was good to excellent. The room I stayed in had a clean, very comfortable king size bed. A good size fridge and microwave, nice TV. The bathroom however was not so great. Cracked and chipped tiles, very slow draining sink and an periodic bad smell from the shower stall and sink drain. Running the hot water for a few minutes helped to dissipate the smell. The jacuzzi tub wasn't in great shape or clean enough for me to try. Every night the parking lot was filled with company work trucks and 18 wheelers. This made me feel a little uncomfortable to venture out. The buffet breakfast was simple but kept well stocked. A variety of things were offered.

Great property, clean and easily accessible, loved the walkable access to Outback for dinner. Pet space was easy to get to, as was parking. Only drawback was the requirement to keep pets off the furniture - this is the only pet-friendly hotel I've ever stayed in that required that. Really an impossible ask. Our dog was so confused and kept trying to get on the bed, we had to block all edges of the bed with our bags to keep him off. Made for a very difficult maze to navigate at night. Just change the sheets, sheesh! Other than that, a great spot. And really, I'd book again, and just cover the bed with a blanket of ours... the price, location, and everything else was excellent.

Ok but need to invest and bring up a level
Reception was fine. Room was dated and cramped with too much furniture. Bed sloped downhill to pillows. Extractor was noisy for a few hours in the night but then settled down. Easy parking. Room had coffee machine and fridge (plus desk, chair, armchair, poofe and coffee table ) making it difficult to place 2 large suitcases anywhere.
Greek restaurant a short walk away. Similarly burgerking and a steak place.
Breakfast was ok and did the job. Such a shame that so many American hotels like this one don't take recycling and rubbish reduction seriously.

Area clean & quiet with lots of restaurants and shops near by. Lots of parking available. Staff was nice & professional. Room was enormous, beds were comfy, pillows could be better, cleanliness was about a 9 out of 10, couple of stains and hair, smelled clean and was properly stocked. Would recommend & would come back.

Quick Stay for Wedding
Family of three needed a place stay for a couple of days to attend a wedding down the street. Staff was amazing and friendly. The cold lemon water in the lobby was a welcome touch coming in from the SF Bay Area into a much warmer climate! The room was large and comfy. Just a little disappointed that the workout room was not functional, but glad was able to take advantage of the INDOOR pool. Breakfast was good - like the 2 versions of waffle makers, the sausage was too salty. Convenient to have Burger King and Outback Steakhouse in the same parking lot as we did not have a car this trip. Would recommend and stay here again.

This was my second stay at this location. Staying at a casino might be cheaper, but this is a quality stay every time. Staff goes above and beyond. The property is quiet. Both the pool and laundry are open 24 hours a day! The icing on the cake is the three hour breakfast window, which is included with the room. Omelets, sausage, make your own waffles, espresso, etc. I love this place!

We stayed last week, when we checked in the woman at the front desk was awesome, got us a room next to the exit because we brought our puppy with us. Breakfast was great, we have stayed here 3 times and are always happy with accommodations here

We had about 8 rooms for my fathers memorial-the staff were so kind and helpful-they moved us into a double since we had 4-our relatives had a suite which was a perfect gathering place-we enjoyed the pool and the fitness area as well-thank you so much for this lovely weekend.

The property had a 24 hour, indoor pool. This was great! But the pool area was very stuffy and smelled funny.
And although the elevator was our of order, the cleaning fellow stopped what he was doing when we checked in and helped us carry our luggage to our room on the second floor.
Every time we came and went, the front desk staff greeted us. They were genuine and kind.

Nice staff. The man who checked me in at 11pm was very nice. Tv in room was beoken only offered one channel, HBO. Room was nice. Large and offered desk area, fridge, mucrowave and coffee maker. Extra space as well. Breakfast was ok as well. I would stay here again.

The indoor pool was very nice and warm. I appreciated that it was open for 24 hrs. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The property was a little worn - for example, the rugs. It would be nice if there was a shuttle from the airport to this hotel.

I liked that it was a calm and quiet place to stay. The bed was very comfortable. The staff was ok. What I didn’t like was that we called the front desk quite a few times and nobody answered. We were trying to get a hold of them because we were missing our remote control from the tv. We finally went down to the front desk and notified them that way. Took a while but they finally got that resolved. The cleanliness was ok, but the vents were so dusty and the plug on the drain was stuck so the water wasn’t going down when we used the shower. There was just a few things that could’ve been improved.

We lived in this neighborhood for a while (back in 2018) and delightlfully, you can hardly tell you are in Las Vegas. This hotel is not special, but there is nothing wrong with it. Tried and true. We've stayed here a few times being in town on business. In the same parking lot: Bambino's Pizza (best we have ever had), Outback Steak. Across the street is Peg's Eggs (amazing), Black Bear Diner, and a few more options. Nice to not have to smell the nasty cigarette smoke you are assaulted with in a casino hotel. As far as safety, you are in Vegas so you should trust no one further than you can throw them, but this neighborhood is one of the least sketchy.

Great stay for our holiday trip!
Stayed for 6 nights while visiting family for thanksgiving. The room was very clean and had plenty of room for all 5 of us. The mattresses could either be flipped or need to be replaced. Had to share with my baby and was slanting to the left which was a bit uncomfortable. The pullout was very lumpy. Otherwise was ok. The staff was very friendly and housekeepers were there every day to make sure we had a clean room and plenty of towels. Would definitely recommend and stay there again.

So glad we chose to stay here!
We choose this hotel for our first family trip to Las Vegas. It was the perfect choice for us. The kids loved the indoor pool and hot tub. The hotel was so clean and it was nice to escape the smoke filled casinos. It wasn’t too far from the strip and exploring. It felt like a nice safe area. The room was really nice and updated. We stayed in the Queen suite and it was worth the upgrade for the extra space. The breakfast had a good assortment and everyone was happy!

It’s ok
The hotel itself was about 12 miles from my convention. The morning breakfast is great. The workout room is minimal. The seat on the recumbent bike does not adjust and the remainder of the equipment is outdated. What surprised me the most is the degree of homelessness surrounding the area. Apparently the homeless try to sneak in and spend the nights hidden in the hotel. In addition The front desk attendant in the evenings has no customer service skills

Room was quite and clean. Enjoyed the indoor pool. Refrigerator was a bit off as items I put in to eat lateralmost froze. Tried to adjust but really did not help much. Bed comfortable. Loved the early check in offered for an additional $20. Convenient to my event and will stay again

Arrived for early check-in with no rooms available so I had waited in the lobby for about 20 minutes while waiting for a room. The hostesses in the front were very nice in waiving my early check-in fee as well as upgrade to a shower-only room with me asking. My 3-day stay was very nice.
Pros: Free breakfast in the mornings &
24 hour pool access
Cons: Hot Tub not in service.
Also, hotel Exit's were not in use. Would have been great to be able to leave from nearest exist instead of walking to front lobby every time you need to go outside.

I booked for non smoking room but when I got in my room, it smelled bad. I kept calling the front desk but no one answered, phone kept ringing, not even a voicemail option. But the manager Faith was very receptive of my comments. The location of the hotel is convenient, general area is quiet.

We wanted small quiet motel with a short walk from parking to room. BWPLVWLV met our needs. The beds were notably comfortable for our 4 night stay, but I would have liked more counter space around the bathroom sink. The breakfast area was also a little tight, but there were eggs and protein each morning.

Appreciated all the room accommodations for my husband who has limited mobility. The bathroom had shower chair; bars in shower and near toilet. The room was very clean. I will definitely stay again.
