The property was under construction and full of dust. The noise from the construction kept me from sleeping. The pool shower, vending machines and juice machine was out of order. Out of order signs was the common denominator throughout the hotel.

Very nice property and excellent staff. The breakfast was good. We didn’t have a car and the dining options were good. The shuttle service was a half hour late so book early but otherwise a great option for staying overnight before a cruise. We were informed they are beginning to do a remodel in the near future.

Wonderful Staff, Clean Environment
The staff was extremely friendly! Our room was clean and stocked up with towels and extra sheets. K-cups were available in room with a mini-fridge and microwave. Fresh towels were available at the pool and hot tub. Exercise room had plenty of equipment and was clean. Not all of the hot breakfast was available but a good selection otherwise. Definitely will stay here again.

Entire staff was professional, over and above helpful, and kind. I liked that a supervisor surveys the rooms after housekeeping services prepares them for the guests. Our room was exceptionally clean. The hotel was very clean and clean smelling. Breakfast was great. My husband and I walked 5mins to the beach and to the Coca Beach Pier, which was a wonderful experience. The manager arranged our shuttle to take us to the cruise docks. Cost us only $14, which was added to our check out. If we’re ever in this area again, this is definitely our go to hotel. Many thanks and much appreciation to the entire staff.

It’s outdated ! Definitely need some renovation. We booked 2 rooms and 5 per room. The sofa beds of the rooms which we stayed in are junkies. Not worth the price we paid for to stay .

Property is showing some where and tear. We have stayed there several times over the past few visits but is in need of a facelift. Our mattress was was the worst. The pool area was a bit rough. Probably will stay someplace diffenext year.

The window in our room was leaking, which was especially noticeable when it started raining and there was a puddle of water under the window next to our bed. There was also mold in the shower, which was not pleasant to see. The check in and breakfast staff members were very helpful and accommodating.

Far exceeded expectations:
1. Location: a short walk to the beach, and even shorter walk to Publix grocery store and a strip mall with excellent Indian, Peruvian and Mexican restaurants.
2. Pool/hot tub: They're enclosed on three sides, so a great escape from sun and elements. They're clean and regularly serviced.
3. Breakfast: The hot bar is legitimately good and restocked often (two kinds of sausage, scrambled eggs, bacon, biscuits&gravy). Not sure if our 8-year-old or her parents were more transfixed by the pancake machine.
The hotel has minor aesthetic flaws (carpets fraying at seams, stained picture frames, rusting metal pieces in door frames). If you're fussy about such things, look elsewhere. If you're looking for inexpensive lodging that overdelivers on the truly important things, book this one.

First, the carpets were wet, they had people vacuuming the carpet all night long, so it was very noisy and annoying. Second, the staff was extremely rude, I was literally asleep, and my friend was making a business call walking around the hallway. Basically, they profiled my friend, and accused him of fussing with random door knobs. Then, neglected to show us camera footage as proof that that was happening, and proceeded to call the police, and have us evacuate the premises immediately. Very unprofessional, very inconvenient, very dirty, and rude to profile somebody that was only making a business call. I will never do business with this hotel again, and will continue to spread the word of how unprofessional and rude these people were.

Needs Help
The room had not been vacuumed. The lightbulbs needed changing. The batteries in the tv remotes were dead. The window wouldn’t close. A maintenance man came up and screwed it shut. Living room furniture needs replacing. The couch and chair pillows were flat.

Older disappointment
Pictures weren’t as described as hotel was very outdated and behind a gas station. I was disappointed to hear loud traffic throughout the night. Outside of the cost of hotels.com, I was surprised to have an additional $30 in taxes/fees added to my reservation. Overall, I’d never stay here again as there were multiple other hotels in the area at a similar price point.

Ok hotel needs updating
The beds were kinda uncomfortable and the room wasn't the cleanest. For the price i could of stayed across the street at Best Western that was right on the beach so i wouldn't have to walk. The room was not ready by 3pm so we had to wait. I would of thought since they made us wait that our room would be cleaner. This hotel needs some updating as well. The pool lights weren't on the entire time we were there so if you went swimming at night it was dark. The free breakfast was just ok.

Wet paint in our room
We could not figure out why there were lines of a paint-like substance getting on our clothes, pillow and blankets. The room smelt like varnish and I discovered that the furniture had wet varnish all over it.

Bad birthday vacation
First - they messed up on my reservation name. Told me my credit card was declined and I had my conformation numbers. Plus charge my credit card for a second room, I didn’t have. Second - the room I booked. Had a bad smell in it, like mildew. Then had to down grade to a suite without a jet tub.

The weather was absolutely beautiful and the beaches were busy but not crowed. Only disappointment however was the Cocoa Beach Ale House. Service was horrible as we sat there for 20 min at the bar watching one bartender eat and do nothing but complain about customers and the other bartender appeared to be fairly new and avoided us at all cost. The entire place was filthy, hot and smelled horrible

I like that when I explain to the staff my situation on how the Holiday Express in my 95 inland I got a Jacuzzi room for $131 and of course I might have made a mistake and picked the wrong one I thought I picked one on the beach but when I went to the one on the beach they downgraded me the money to $11 more from 131 so I was already paying more for a room it was way smaller and had nothing in it but a bad TV in the table and a few of what people smoke cigarettes so when I went out there and I expressed it like a couple other staff members they helped me out I was happy about we're still going to keep the $50 I guess holding fee or just to see if my money my card have money in it which I don't understand cuz they already took a hundred and thirty one dollars already what do you need to know if I got money on my card for second when I finally was happy and I take her up there we open the window to look out towards the you know the scenery there was no scenery a green roof blocks every single thing that we can see I was a little upset but we agreed that you know whether that's not complaining anymore they helped us out they did this but I must have misunderstood the guy Mike when he said well we're going to keep this you know I guess I'll say I thought he said he going to keep this on fire you know just to keep it as the I don't know in case damages or something I didn't hear him say well we're going to take this money and put it towards your bill towards the room because I wou

Enjoyed my stay. Ryan at the front desk was professional, and kind. Loved this hotel due to proximity to cocoa pier and other nearby attraction. Room was decent except for AC , i do not think it worked properly.
As a guest, you are given the option of having room clean or not ( COVID-19 regulation).
Breakfast included (COVID-19 restrictions- attendant served you at distance)Stephen was awesome.
There is a fridge and microwave in room.
Overall i was satisfied in choosing this hotel.

Wondeful stay.if only there was no weird smell.
My husband and I did just a weekend get away and qe arrived a little early to the hotel and the service was great. Very friendly service ans was aloud early check in. The appearance of our king room with the jetted tub was very nice.but the smell was not as great.it was a mixed smell of mold and cat pee!? The pool and hot tube area was very nice. Just like the pics.bit the carpet around the jetted tub in the room was wet when we arrived so might have something to so with the smell. Other then that all was fine.

We got to the hotel, seen they had everything set up for covid (sheilds, sanitizer,etc) so we were pretty sure that they would be fairly clean rooms (have always had pretty good rooms and service at Holiday Inn Express) after we checjed in and got to our room we discovered that our jetted tub would only pour luke warm water so we couldnt use it. So forward to this morning when we used the shower to only find curly and straight s in it.. so how well do they clean these rooms during this covid time we live in ? . Not very happy, but we did walk out this morning kinda grossed out. Rooms are still in 1980's decor and could be updated as well.
