I was charged another 100 dollars after I already paid what I thought was the fee. Then we didn’t have enough towels for everyone and hotel front desk said we only were supposed to have 4 people in the room but I clearly booked for 4 adults and 2 children which was what I thought the queen suite was for

Shower
The room was clean and comfortable. My only complaint is that the shower would not fully turn on. When u lift the nozzle for the shower half of the water still runs into the tub which lowers the water pressure. I don’t know if this can be fixed but it would be great if it could be fixed.

Children was jumping off walls over room above me. Suggestion: Families with small children be assigned to bottom floor.
I Had to be moved to a quieter room and it worked out fine.

On arrival our air conditioning was not on and the room smelled musty. The air finally started cooking the room around 2am. There were 5 people in our party and only three sets of bath towels. The area around the coffee pot was dirty and the bathroom was not very clean. The sheets for the pull out sofa did not appear as they had been washed since the last guest. Fortunately we were only there for one night.

We had a late arrival. It was a fast check-in. The room was nice and the bed comfortable. The room was cold so we had to turn on the heater but then was OK. We'd stay again.

Great stay
Great stay for a weekend trip to Clemson University to spend some time with our student. 11 miles to campus...easy on/off I-85...easy parking. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance. Perfect location...will stay here again in the near future. King suite room was SPACIOUS too for a fair price

This was fine for a one night stay, somewhat clean, ceiling in room had water damage, carpets need a deep clean, beds were comfortable. TV didn’t have streaming capabilities but advertised as smart tv. Breakfast was minimal, not many choices.

Had 2 rooms for business trip. Rooms clean but not wheel chair friendly. AC is awful both rooms would not cool off. Definitely not worth what was paid for.

The hotel was okay if you are paying $100-$120 a night. The beds were comfortable but the bathrooms still had hair in tub and on bathroom floor. When you are paying over $300 for two nights, you expect more.

The hotel is nice and clean, however it lacks sound proofing. We did not sleep the one night we stayed because you could hear the people next door very clearly. The door had a gap around it so you could see light from the hall and could hear everyone passing by. The breakfast was good and the area was clean.

The bathroom tile floor was dirty when we checked in. We checked in late at night after a full day of travel so we put down a towel to walk on until morning. The next day we spoke to the cleaning lady directly as she was at our room when we returned from breakfast . She stated someone else was suppose to mop that floor the day before and probably skipped it. She said she would take care of it. Well, she didn't. The desk clerk applied a discount to our bill after I complained which I did not ask for but appreciated.

Cheaper if through hotel directly
The hotel was awesome. This website not so much. I thought this website was supposed to find cheaper deals. I paid 145. When I got to hotel I asked out of curiosity and found out I could have gotten the same room for 99!!

The hotel stay was beautiful, I had book 3 rooms for my family members and there were no complaints ....we actually laugh at the fact that the beds are so high and we have to jump to get on them and the breakfast was delicious for those who ate it ...Overall everything went well

Excellent, exceeded our expectations
We stayed at this Holiday Inn when we came for my son’s graduation at Clemson. It is less than a 20 minute drive from the university. Everything was clean and the property looks well kept and updated. The free breakfast was a nice bonus with a good variety of offerings to choose from. We would stay here again if we return to Clemson in the future.

There were hardly any gluten free options for breakfast. I used to make fun of gluten free people, but now that I’ve figured out that’s why I’ve been so sick, I am surprised at how difficult it is to find gluten free options.

Good experience could be a little cleaner
We enjoyed our stay the front desk and morning cook were super friendly and helpful. The room appeared clean other than the hairs in the bathroom and we experienced a couple bug bites but can’t say for sure if it was the bed or outside. I will say it was cold outside so I’m only guessing the other

Liked the proximity to Clemson University between Downtown Andersen. Our car was hit in parking lot and the security cameras supposedly do not record deeming them useless whereas where we were parked would have been a perfect view to capture license plate info or make & model of car. Hotel makes us write make and model upon check in so this all could have been helpful had the cameras been recording. The staff was not helpful with situation offering to call police to report or anything. Just an “of well” attitude.

Bathroom Reno needed!
The room was comfortable and clean however the bathroom was in desperate need of repair. There was a hole in the ceiling above the shower head and the plaster around it was bubbling. We were concerned that it would fall on us during our showers. The tub had a sharp slant to both sides creating a narrow center to stand in which felt like it was going to give way any moment.

The refrigerator was unplugged when we arrived and had to be "fixed" and the commode would not flush. Took a while for that the commode to be fixed and the service guy left muddy tracks all over the floor.

Graduation trip
Hotel was very clean. My only complain was the height of the beds. I am 5’4 and had to get a chair to climb on the bed. I can’t imagine an older person having to get on and off the beds. It was close to lots of good restaurants and easy drive to Clemson University.

very clean, excellent staff, very nice rooms, we rented two rooms for wife;s sisters, breakfast was so so, but do to covid. Both bedrooms had very high pedistals and made bed just a little hard to get on. pool was warm and nice, staff was always friendly and made sure you got what you wanted and ......right away. We will always stay there again when we visit our daughter and grandkids.

The hotel was lovely, clean and perfect in every way EXCEPT the beds are SOOO high that my 87 year old mother could not get in and out of it properly. I finally had to put my suitcase on the floor for her to use as a step up to just get in bed. Very poor design. Not inclusive of older folks at all.

Checked in and employee said they needed a copy of my card for incidentals. Had they told me they were putting a hold on it for $200 I would have told them no. The room rate ($145) was paid through Expedia. Holiday Inn has no restaurant on site. When I asked why they out hold my card, the person at the front desk told me it’s policy to put a $200 hold for incidentals. I asked why she did not inform me beforehand and she could not provide a response. Then she tells me that the hold will come off after I check out and I told her that’s not how credit cards work. She said I need to talk with a manager who would be in between 7:30 and 8am the next day.

Front-desk staff was super friendly and helpful! Hotel was very quiet. Room was clean and comfortable -- bed and linens were AMAZING, high quality and just what I needed after a long day of traveling. I would definitely stay here again! The only negative was that breakfast was only available til 8:30am -- too early for me after a very late night.

This place very nice. The area was clean in the parking lot and lobby. The lady Elyse was very friendly and helpful. The room smelled clean and was great. I enjoyed my one night stay here. The bed and pillows were comfortable. Overall a great experience.
