A very out dated embassy suite .
We booked with Hotels.com was told it was179 and checked out with a bill of 218 not sure those extras weren't convade at time of check in but not happy with the host.

The property was fine but the room was Cold even after hot shower and keeping drapes pulled. . In the morning the front desk told me I could have requested a space heater. Please do ask !!. All otherwise was fine

My family and I had a great stay. The hotel is very nice and clean. Our kids enjoyed the pool. The breakfast was delicious and better than other hotels we have stayed at. All the staff was very nice and professional. Will be staying here again in the future.

Interesting stay
Our stay started out nice. We really enjoyed receiving vouchers for complimentary cocktails. Unfortunately the common area was really dirty, crumbs and trash everywhere. We didn’t see a house keeper on site on the the following morning. There were multiple groups of guests that were smoking marijuana, so all the whole place wreaked of weed especially the elevators. Then at 12 am a fire alarm went off and the whole hotel was evacuated, then 30 minutes later we were allowed to back inside with no communication of what happened. I feel like the hotel has potential, maybe they’re short staffed, or it was an off day for them. All in all we would probably stay again with hopes that they learned some lessons that night.

The shower doesn’t have a place to put the shower head. It’s literally hanging down on a line from the wall. You can’t shower properly.

this place has only air conditioning or heat, not both, my room was 68 degrees with the air blasting, it got cold at night so I asked the front desk for heat, they sent a space heater. when checking in I ask for the full cost, $411 but when I checked out it was $568 massive hidden charges. I will never grace the doorways of Embassy suites again

Consistently Great place to stay
The team at Tastes is awesome, and breakfast is wonderful. The room was spacious and clean. I enjoyed my stay while working in town; this is my monthly go to hotel for comfort, food and a great price.

We stayed on the eighth floor and apparently they have a new AC system that does not work with the floor so someone had to come and manually reset it but even doing that did not make the room cooler. And the AC vent started to leak a bit of water after doing the reset.

Check-in process wasn't convenient. Extra fees and provided the wrong room number so has to make another trip down to the front desk with bags. Staff at restaurant was rude and talked bad about guests to each other.

There was a discrepancy in the room booking and no easy fix was available. They helped as best they could to a point without question. Twenty minutes later my room phone rang and I was informed that due to the error I would be comped the room for the night. Embassy Suites has my continued g loyalty and I will encourage my friends and family to use them. Thank you for all you did during a hard transition back into the world after spine reformation.

The worst customer service I ever saw
At the beginning we were giving a room that is next to the mechanical room, and it was a lot of noise, and I had to change his room At 12:30 AM someone nocked on my door and asked to check if he left his tools inside the room.
Oh, when I checked out, I was told that I will be charged late checkout fees because I left the room after 1230
They never told me that there is a late check out fees, and the customer service was very rude and yelled and screamed for no reason

Had a five day stay, housekeeping didn’t come once to my room. The HVAC I set to 80deg and the room temp never went above 71. They had no beer for five days during the afternoon happy hour.

This was the first time visit to this property. I can say it was quick and easy to and from SFO. With 24hr shuttle at a fee of 10.00 for each person. The front desk staff where awesome friendly. We noted that all the staff we spoke to where friendly and helpful. We found the rooms to be very big as they are all suites. comforatbale beds seating area . The room could have used a good vaccumming did note that the bathroom has no towel rack to dry towels. The property also has a managment happy hour where guests receive 2 free drinnks between certain hours. The morning buffet in the center atruim was amazing and very nice including cook to order eggs or omlettes all included with your room. Average cost for uber to town 30.00 best time to travel after 10am and after 7pm in the evening. We will be back give this property 9 out of 10!!! keep up the great work.

Consider an alternative venue.
Incredible disappointment, not worth the price. In my room, I discovered that the toilet and the shower hadn't been properly cleaned, and there was a soiled spot on the bedding to one of the beds that reeked of human BO. I was in a double room - one of the beds was set up on a broken box spring or platform, so as soon as you tried to sit or lay on the mattress you'd just sink down where the damage was. The vents in the room made noise all night making it very difficult to sleep. Floor hadn't been vaccumed in some time as there was an exceptional amount of long blonde and brown hair, as well as food debris on the floor. The cost for each night in this hotel was $507 due to Salesforce Dreamforce, but this room was hardly worth more than a stay at a Motel 6. Cannot recommend this hotel for any reason.

Nov clock in the room,why? Had a important meeting interrupted by an HOUR LONG FIRE ALARM TEST. "24/7 Car Security" non existent on 3 nights (3x checked) for which you pay $40 per night!!!,and cars were going through the gate without the ticket. Room key fob, constantly didn't work (especially on the elevators, where they are needed to go up to the room, and on the outside doors, so I had to walk to the front of the building....Also only plain creamers, no favors avaialble..and were forced to join Hilton club to get working internet ,since the "free" one was in disrepair waiting for parts....Never again will we stay there....AVOID THIS PROPERTY.

We stayed in the hotel for multiple days, and some of us has been getting multiple bed bug bites from head to toe. We've been experiencing this since our first day. I highly do not recommend staying here because they do not adequately clean the rooms and there have been bed bugs in the room we were staying at.

Rooms were very nice. the morning breakfast was excellent, clean, well appointed and very comfortable.
We missed the welcome reception because of arriving at 7:30pm, but the bar was open. The staff and bartender were excellent, a nice conclusion to a very hectic day.

Very close to airport. Big Beautiful Hotel with a great breakfast area.
Parking was $39 a night but the hotel staff was very friendly and absolutely amazing. I asked for a toothbrush and before I can get to my door to go down, hotel staff was at my door ready with toothbrush. Pool was also great for older kids.

Not so new hotel but I like the comfortable bed, big rooms, clean and especially peaceful area. That’s what you need after a day walking in downtown SF! The breakfast is great like any embassy suites. Good value for money especially if you are traveling as a family. It’s my go to hotel when I go to SF area.

$39 parking fee was a surprise. Don't understand why there's a fee. They've made a profit from parking over and over again and spaces are SMALL. Would not stay here again because of it and wish it was more prominent when booking on Expedia.

Our family loved to stay at Embassy Suites. It never fails us. Room is spacious and clean, pet friendly property. We always enjoyed the evening managers special and morning breakfast that we always look forward to. Except for expensive parking, Embassy is my #1 hotel choice.

Great place for an early flight.
We didn’t realize we reserved a room with Accessibility. We offered to switch rooms. She kept saying it was because we went thru 3rd party. What would that matter? She wasn’t the nicest. Kept referring to us as 3rd party reservations. The shower did not have a secure handle on it and we had to hold the shower head the whole time when we all took showers. It made a big mess. Regardless of handicap you would think the shower head would attached to something so it wouldn’t spray everywhere. We ask about it and the same woman said, “that is how the shower is.” I also found it kinda gross there were adults in their bed clothes serving themselves at the buffet. Gross! Very rude on their part. The breakfast was great! Everyone was nice except the lady checking us in seemed a bit indifferent because we were 3rd party check ins.

Pay attention to the parking fees!
I probably should have confirmed before booking but we were blindsided by the daily parking fee. It was frustrating to exit the parking lot each day and be told one price by the machine that was lower than what we were charged by the hotel. No one could offer an explanation as to why that was or if we could just pay ourselves and not be charged a higher rate to the room. We were pleasantly surprised by the 2 free alcoholic beverages per adult per day and that helped take some of the sting off of the parking fee. We had several issues with our room keys and despite replacing them several times they never worked to open the doors to the indoor pool. Overall the room was very clean and modern and we were otherwise pretty happy with the hotel. We would stay there again.

Overall it was a great stay. We liked the layout of the hotel where you can look into the lobby and you can see in the elevators. Having children, it was nice if they needed to go upstairs for something while we were in the lobby, I could see them go up in our room. The breakfast in the morning was nice but a little chaotic, we could never find a clean table - or sometimes- any table to sit at. We had to take our food upstairs in our room.
The pool was nice for the kids and the complimentary shampoo/soap was so convenient because they had large containers in the bathrooms so we didn’t have to constantly replace the small tubes that most hotels offer. Overall, it was great.

Place is nice inside and out. The issue is that the AC is not good enough to supply decent cooling on 10th floor. Building engineer came to check and went on roof to flush the system but that did nothing to improve. There is room service food after 10pm. Free breakfast is good and there is a good choice. I would go there again but not above the 7-8th floor.

The overall staff was amazing. The rooms are very clean. The rooms are very spacious. I do feel like there was not enough staff to properly function this property there were often times long lines to get to check in. This hotel will not clean your room unless you asked for a room cleaning 24 hours in advance.

I really like this hotel it was super beautiful. The breakfast was amazing. Only downfall was that we had to pay extra for parking that’s fine. Either way I felt safe. The community was quiet and it was in a very nice suburban area, so I highly recommend for people traveling from the far.

$39 a night for tight compact stalls; be prepared for door dings. If you get back late it’s going to be tough to find parking. Requested towels replaced and trash be take but that didn’t happened. Front desk process is extremely slow. My keys didn’t work initially had to go back to the front desk. I tried calling for extra blankets and no one answered so I had to make another trip to the front desk. I could go on about bad service, but I usually stay at Embassy’s and this one was the worst.

The team at this location is super friendly unlike the location on the bay. Everything in the room worked unlike the location on the bay. This hotel has a tricky location and tight parking lot but it’s worth the inconvenience to stay at this location

Checking in was slow 5 people behind the counter only one was working, 3 people in line. On top of that my daughter found a used syringe in her room. All they said was sorry we will send the maid up to change the garbage bag. Very poor service.

I had so many problems with this hotel. Starting with the parking. I paid for 2 nights of parking and didn’t get to park in the lot at all. Parking was too full and people were taking double parking . Then our first room had a weird smell to it so we asked to switch rooms. But our other room had the worst time opening the door and closing it. Kept making a loud sound and it was annoying. Asked for help and no one came.

Arriving at the Embassy Suites, the directions on my phone takes me to the back of the hotel. Signage is poor. Circulation is difficult also since some entrances are blocked off. The entrance to the property should be located off of a street instead of having to drive around trying to determine if this is the hotel or another hotel - not a good first impression. Some doors are locked whereas others are not. We had guests that had to walk around the building because they thought the side and back entrance doors were locked. Note that the majority of the parking is in the back of the hotel. Most parking near the entrance are compact also.
The heater in our room did not work and so we were cold during our stay. I could not reach the front desk using the phone in our room either and so we had to call from the lobby. We did not spend much time in our room and so did not bother to ask for a new room.
Breakfast was free and was the only positive experience because of all of the food options. Note that the seating is limited. The indoor pool is small.
We were charged for parking a few days after our stay for parking and so yes another negative issue to remember with our stay! Wow! Negative experiences just do not stop. The price of the room was not a good value either and so I would not stay there again nor recommend this hotel to anyone.

Bad parking fees
I like it but the carpet felt very dirty .. also didn't like that you have to pay 40 bucks while there is no parking with 40 bucks it should have been valet parking .. oh and the space are very tight and cars where double parking which made it worst .. lots of people partying and making noise .. will stay again if parking was better

We spent two nights at the Embassy Suites on Gateway Blvd at SFO. The room was very clean, bed was very comfortable, as were the pillows. The complimentary breakfast and evening cocktails were good. Our first night was nice and quiet and I was very impressed. The second night was a ZOO because of the school groups staying there and the unsupervised kids running thought the lobby like maniacs. The pool was STUFFED with kids. This, along with getting slapped with a $78 parking fee for being there two days, soured my opinion of the stay.
