Gym. Way small size and equipment style made little sense. Already a lot of walking and stairs if you're commuting outside the hotel. A few treadmills, a few stairsteps and one weight machine monopolized by a guy on his cell phone. Not good.
Not working in room: (A very nice staff fixed TV on night 2 of 3, but it failed next day) Towel Rack no heat. Prior shower mishaps slight mold. Bed didn't recline all the way. Cold shower water. Lack of place to get away. Restaurant at night only access to top deck. Nothing nearby opens for breakfast until 7. 'Takeaway' wasn't clear enough for us to commit. We need 'good' coffee by 6 and tea at night but agree in-room coffee isn't worth a hotel's investment. Conference attended in full swing by 7.

Method to convert clothes bureau to desk mostly works. (Could be in my likes.)
Metal folding chair could use a pad, but like portability.
Offer a secure WIFI option to exceed 3 star hotel feel. am being generous with 5 star rating. For cost after fees and taxes on the fees, 4 stars could be argued. But its Boston.

Good and bad
Rooms are very compact. It’s like staying in a closet with well positioned and organized spaces. Could have used more towels and any conditioner. The parking fee was high, especially sine the garage they used couldn’t accommodate a ford 250 as the truck was too big. Would go again but needs to be less pricey. Loved the rooftop restaurant.

A gem
What a gem! My first stay here for the annual Yankee Dental Convention. 24 hr valet was lovely and efficient. Reception staff same. I chose to go up a day earlier than planned, and they made it easy to change my reservation . The room being simple but small were so well appointed. I was given an accesible room so it was larger than the regular single i requested. The window opened for fresh air and sounds of the city. Pillows shhets and mattresss great. They had what you needed. Bar and restaurant available. Close to everything in the Seaport of Boston. Walked to the Convention Center. I will be back.

Winter storm caused a change in my travel plans and the hotel was completely unhelpful with providing a refund or allowing me to change to another date. Will never book with them again.

Hotel was super convenient and located near everything. The only thing I didn’t love was that there was no mini fridge in the room. Which was super annoying. Every hotel room should have one. The rooms were also very small, barely could move around. But other than that I loved all the plants, the staff was nice and they made a great cosmo!

Other people have complained it was like staying in a closet but in my opinion it was small but perfectly adequate. The room was clean and in like new condition. The location was in a great location to walk to different places in the area. I absolutely loved the monsoon shower head.

When you first check in they do not tell you about an Extra 25 dollars per night that you shall pay just because. They said that is obligatory because they are providing shampoos and handshoaps.

Overall we really enjoyed our stay! Location was great and the hotel was clean and well taken care of. The room was quite small, but had everything we needed. I will note that there is no separation between the bathroom and the bed area apart from a curtain and two clear glass doors for the shower and toilet, respectively, so there’s not much privacy if you’re traveling with another person.

Second time staying at this hotel and it’s on my list of good ones in Boston. It is in a gorgeous (albeit pricey) area and convenient to South Station. Well worth it if you can get a good deal on rooms, which we did on this latest trip. Rooms are small but functional if you are well organized, clean, attentive staff too, and a VERY comfy bed!

My 9 year old loved the bunk bed. But there was no place to store clothes! No drawers at all, just very minimal hanging space. The street noise was very loud late one night, but other nights were great. We enjoyed our time

Had an amazing one night stay over the Christmas break. Great location in the seaport and very clean and comfortable! Staff were all friendly and welcoming! Shout out to Kobe for being some accommodating and kind.

The good: Easy check in, clean secure room, comfy bed, lots of places to plug in my phone, and put my stuff away.
The not so good: LOUD air system went on and off all night, taking the temp from sweltering to freezing and back again.
The staff downstairs at breakfast were so slow I left and ended up coming back because nothing else was open. It must have taken 20 minutes to get a menu and beg for water. Waitress was impossible to understand. Also why is the 700Club on TV in the bar spewing evangelical nonsense?

The room was very clean, quite and cheap for the area. However the room was very small and there is no speration between the bathroom and the bed besides a curtain. There was little to no privacy in that aspect. There was also alot of activitie in the mornings from the staff that was loud other than that no problems with noise. Overall good and convenient place to stay for the night with lots to do around you with in walking distance.

Clean and comfortable room with everything that we needed. The staff was helpful and friendly. My daughter and I were able to walk around in the middle of the night and felt very safe. The restaurant on the roof has an amazing view. We didn't get to eat there due to time constraints. Definitely next time.

It was ok, but not my favorite. The $100 per night security deposit is annoying. Paid 11.50 for 2 plain cups of coffee. I would have been happier staying elsewhere for cheaper.

2 nights in Seaport Hotel

My first time ever at Yotel-Boston was an relaxation stay. From the wonderful hospitality of the front desk attendant Rebecca along with her other co worker (didn't get her name, but she has braces) to the valet attendant Romeo & the other gentleman who went to get my vehicle on 11/28/22 around 7pm for my 1st ever Boston Celtics game. Rebecca gave me advice on the area to check out.
Thank you for suggesting the Lucky Bar up the street for late night hours. The food was great and atmosphere was fun on a Tuesday night after a Celtics game. I LOVED THE VIEW from my room. I love beautiful sceneries. My room was perfect for my one night stay in town for the NBA In- Season Tournament game. I also got a quick peak at the Deck 12 upstairs on the rooftop. It was a chilly night, if I would've had enough time I would've enjoyed a Hot Bailey's Irish cream hot chocolate with a heat lamp and a beautiful view to digest. When you have the ability to zone out the noise for a moment of solace, your mind, body and soul will thank you. 😊. The queen bed room with an adjustable bed was just the right size for me. Thank Yotel-Boston for making my first time a pleasant experience.

For the second consecutive year we stayed in a suite at Yotel for Thanksgiving. The sofa had no pillows and there were no extra blankets for either the bed or sofa. Given that we were in a suite, I expected complimentary robs and slippers - fortunately I brought my own slippers. When I informed the manager that for the second consecutive year the refrigerator freezes the milk and water we placed in it despite lowering the temperature - he just looked at me and did not seem to care. The front desk staff seems bored and inconvenienced and they never smile. You do not feel welcomed. The staff at the lobby bar/restaurant is outstanding.

I am a fan of cool small hotel rooms. The room was clean and comfortable. The location is excellent within walking distance of many attractions. Many cafes, counter and sit down dining options nearby.The staff was truly friendly and helpful. I will book again on my next trip.

Very nice hotel! The rooms are small but they are very cool with reclining beds and LED lights. It is also right next to the underground bus to take you to the airport. It is also walking distance to many attractions.

There was a loud sound in my room every time the heat kicked in. Totally could not sleep the second night, so I left.
Also, I checked in after midnight and they charged me a "no show" fee of $575 although the room was already paid for through Expedia.
It was total nightmare to fix this problem. Hours on emails and trying to get them to take it off and then give me a receipt that will actually make sense to my employer who is reimbursing me. I may not even get the money from them because the receipt is too confusing and I have so much explaining to do.
Never ever ever again.

I got charged for taxes and fees twice at this property. When I called to get a resolution, two ladies were extremely rude. The room was smaller than a studio dorm... Location was good. Not worth paying well over 250$ a night to then get charged twice on the fees and taxes for them to agree, redact their statement, and then not refund you.

Modern look but basic flaws
Upon arrival, no this was explained to me, breakfast, gym, nothing.
The hotel carpet was wet next to the bed.
There are no desks to work on or to have dinner.
The shower is very poorly designed. 1) it is very small compared to the size of te bathroom. Water leaks because the curtain sits too high from the floor, so after a shower you end up with you bathroom floor fully wet. There is a seat in the middle of the shower that you can’t fold. So for a shower you either sit or you sit.

Heat/AC in the room didn’t work, opened the window to control the temp, but outside noise made it a bit annoying. For the price, the rooms are small. Very small. The hotel is nice, and has a very unique style, it’s just a matter of if you think the style is worth the extra cost.

The main suggestion I have is to change the parking situation a little bit. Having the valet is amazing and it’s a HUGE help but there’s not really any space to pull up when you arrive. We arrived to check in and just had to park in the lane blocking a bunch of traffic because there was no where else to pull over. I know that’s probably not super doable because it’s a city but that’s really the only thing we “didn’t like!” The valets were great, though.
Also, refrigerators in the rooms would be such a good added bonus!! Maybe in one of the drawers like the safe.
We had a great time and we would definitely stay again :)

Hotel was across the street from The Grand (perfect distance for a concert). It is a small room perfect for a couple or a single person. Moon shower is huge! Sad the Bluetooth speakers didn’t work.

I enjoyed the accessibility to stores and restaurants and being so close to the water. The room is definitely small so it you are sharing, I hope you are comfortable with the person. The bathroom for my room did not have a door but a curtain to close off the bathroom section and although it worked out fine, just be aware that you can hear whatever goes on in their. The bed was very comfortable and room was clean.

YOTEL in Seaport District: a Perfect combination
YOTEL Boston is my second success experience with YOTEL (after YOTEL Singapore). It is perfectly located in the Seaport innovation district. It’s right next to SL1 Courthouse Station and 800m away from South Station. In addition to the lounge on ground floor and a restaurant on 12th, there are many dining options in walking distance. The cool water station at the entrance is a lovely welcome to guests back from a busy day in town. Thumbs up!

Great location small room not sure about service
I found the check in staff a bit apathetic. Also, don't be fooled into doing the self check in - the amount of work you have to do with data entry and waiting for the screens to change takes way longer than checking in with the live person. I couldn't figure out how to use chromecast in my room, so I called the front desk twice and no one picked up. The room is also tiny. But the hotel is in a great location right by the silver line.

Property is centrally located in heart of Seaport. Staff is excellent, cleaning is superb. I would had rated facility as 5 star if there would had been a curtain to divide the bathroom area to sleeping quarters. Shower glass and toliet area are detailed glass but you can see through. Loved seeing room cleaned when arrived back after full day of sight seeing. Ladder going up to bunk bed was harder for an adult to get up vut do able.

Very central to most of the places we wanted to visit. So we could walk to all of them within 10 minutes including the long wharfe and major historical sites.
Hotel itself was clean and staff helpful, thecroom wevhad was small but fine forcwhatcwe needed, whichvwas a base to explore Boston centre. For a business visit it might be more restrictive. But fir us itcwas just right.

Good location and friendly/polite staff. The room is small but clean and gets the job done. My biggest complaint was that they tested the fire alarm at 7am during my stay. I was here for a big conference from the west coast so was essentially woken up at 4am. Not sure why it had to be done at this time and it went on for at least 20 minutes. It was extremely disruptive and I was exhausted for the rest of the day.

Good location, rooms are super small. Nice, but they lack things like a table, or a chair. The bed converts to a sofa but ends up taking up most of the space. The restaurant is technically open late, but they stop serving food a few hours before they close. They tried to automate just about everything but the computer programs frequently crashed or froze. They offered a $5 credit to skip daily room cleaning but there was never an opportunity to use it

Lots of USB plugs for charging which was a nice relief. Huge TV and comfortable beds. Lovely and helpful staff that do go beyond and above which I commend. Excellent location
However, unfortunately our room was quite small and occasionally felt claustrophobic. There was very little space to navigate which was disappointing considering how much we paid for 5 nights. No tea or coffee provided in room (although not sure there was any space for this in the room anyway). Occasional odd odour in the room but not every night. Unfortunately the safe malfunctioned during our stay but otherwise I'd say we had a really pleasant few days.

I loved everything about this hotel since the minute i walked inside. The amazing smell always present, the fast and self check-in kiosk was ver convenient. The room was immaculate! It was a bit small but very comfy, clean, and with everything i needed for my stay. I loved the deck, the location for the hotel and its amazing views…
This was my first time in a Yotel hotel but will definitively be my last.

Great location. Close to many restaurants and Boston Tea Party Museum. Subway station right next to Hotel. Yotel has a eurpoean concept design. The space though small has a superbly efficient design with lots of nooks to hold stuff. Given that you don't visit a city to spend time in the hotel, it worked perfectly for us. The hotel has a great restaurant on property and a roof top bar with small plate appetizers. I would definitely stay there again.

It was such an easy trip from north station to south and then bus to court house station and the hotel was right next to the station! I got there a bit earlier and although I couldn’t check in early without a fee, they offered to store my luggage free of charge. Which was great because I could go walk around and kill time. I was only there for one night didn’t spend much time looking around. But from what I saw and the room itself was very clean and different for sure. It felt expensive and fun! Loved it.
