Friendly Hotel
Very friendly hotel with convenient beach access, a beautiful central atrium, and good breakfast options. The pool and gym are standard. The beach is across the street. Vehicles mostly yielded to our family walking. It would be nice for a few street lights to be installed at the crossing. The room was spacious and even the sofa bed comfortable. Overall very pleased.

Love the location
The main part of the hotel has been remodeled and looks very nice. Our room was very spacious and had an amazing view. Jason and Deanna were both wonderful employees and provided excellent service. The room itself could use a bit of attention, seems to be showing a bit of age, but still very doable for short trip.

Always a wonderful play to stay
The Embassy Suites is always my go to place to stay. The service has always been amazing. Beds were comfy with very fluffy bedding. The bartender was wonderful. And of course, the breakfast buffet never fails.

Happy New Year Trip Review!
The service was great. The staff was attentive from the start. I added special requests with my reservation and they accommodated the requests. I recommend adding your Hilton Honors number in the special request box, so you can get digital key access and the ability to choose the room you ordered. The only concern was parking, but that was expected due to coming on a busy holiday weekend. Thanks for everything!

Friendly staff, clean, beautiful inside with large dining area, 2 free drinks at the bar and chips & salsa from 5:30-7 per day, free quality breakfast/ drinks and omelet bar, spacious room and pet friendly! Just a short walk from the beautiful white sand beaches and crystal blue water. We really loved our stay here (including my picky, senior aged mom). The price point was along with the other hotels in the area, but we got much more for our money. We will seek out Embassy suites in the future.

This is a wonderful place to stay. Roomy, clean, and very good service. The free breakfast is superb. Will book this hotel again when visiting the Destin, Florida area. However, I will never book through expedia again. Going through expedia I was charged $141.20 a night before taxes. If I booked through the hotel, it would have cost me $113 a night.

Lot to like about it...
There was a lot to like about this Embassy Suites. The lobby was beautiful, service was great, breakfast was magnificent, everything was clean. The shower was perfect - spacious, water pressure and temp control were excellent, the bed was comfortable. Free drinks and snacks from the bar from 5:30 - 7 the 2 nights we stayed (don't know for sure if that's regular or we just got lucky).
There was one PRETTY BIG drawback. The walls of our suite were very thin. From the bedroom, we could hear the conversation of people in the rooms on either side of us. When in the front room of the suite, we could hear when anyone walked by, we could hear when the kitchen staff was preparing breakfast, and we could hear people in the lobby. It was a little disconcerting.
Other than that (pretty sizeable) negative factor, we greatly enjoyed our stay.

We have been coming to this property for the last five years or more and there has been no change in the breakfast buffet items, this time seem that they are serving cheap biscuits they are never fresh, they are hard and you can cut them, grits was not done, if you put milk or cream in them they will cook and be creamy and maybe someone will eat them. Also happy the drinks are excellent but there also need to be some changes with the snacks, they have gotten boring, we use to to get some chips with cheese dip now that is in the past. I just would like to see some these changes, we are here every December and love the place. Not try to sound ungrateful.

Almost perfect!
We were just there for our honeymoon. The common area was great, bartender and front staff great, free breakfast was also great. The room could use an updating as it didn’t really match the rest of the building. Also, walls are so thin we heard so many children and people talking we could barely sleep.

Labor Day Weekend Family Trip
Our stay was amazing! This was our second stay this year. Can’t wait to go back. Walking distance to the beach. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Complimentary breakfast every morning is awesome, lots of options. The hotel had an animal show for the kids. The Animal Keeper had a snake, hedgehog, turtle, tarantula, and other animals that the kids enjoyed seeing!

After Expedia failed to actually reserve the room at this hotel, the staff there went above and beyond to accommodate us and ensure we could stay there, and that our room was just as we requested. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The room was nice, the location was perfect with access to the beach across the street, the breakfast was delicious, and we loved the complimentary drinks at the bar each evening. We would definitely stay here again, but we will be sure to book directly with the hotel next time. 😉

The property was illegally advertised on Expedia and the hotels website, stating it was directly located on the beach when it was not. It was several streets away from the beach. The toilet in our room had been used prior to our stay and was not cleaned. The ceiling fan in our room did not work and the big light in the living area also did not work. The trash was overflowing into the floor by the elevator on our floor and the entire floor smelled like trash. The carpet had multiple different stains on it. The front desk staff was completely inconsiderate and down right rude. We had to go through Expedias website to get a refund and Expedia kept calling the hotels front desk and they continuously kept hanging up on them. This was the nastiest place I have ever been and I would not recommend this to anyone, I wouldn’t even let my dead dog stay here.

This embassy suites was great for our family because: it had a fridge and microwave in the room, it was close to beach (a 4 minute walk across the street), they had beach chairs/umbrellas available for rent, they provided beach towels, breakfast buffet included in price, separate room with a pull out sofa bed for kids, and a large souvenir shop right next door! I would say the only negative for our family was there are not a lot of restaurants close by for lunch/dinner options. We did have to Uber for 2 of the 3 evenings for dinner. But the Surf Hut restaurant that is literally right across the street was delicious and a fun atmosphere so we went there a couple of times for convenience.

FAMILY BEACH VACATION
Check-in and check-out was amazing. Staff was welcoming, knowledgeable, and helpful.Location was awesome in relation to beach, shopping, and restaurants. Breakfast was outta this world, amazing. Great variety, kept well-stocked, cooked-to-order omelets. Evening social was ok!! Served just chips, salsa, fruit, and cheese each day. No meal foods, unlike Homewood Suites or Drury. Meals had to be ordered and paid through Calypso Cafe onsite. Each adult registered in a suite, was allowed 2 free drinks during the evening from 4-8pm. Deanna, the bartender, was very good with the drinks. I kept our room in order, only obtaining towels from staff as we were traveling with our pet, which they allow for a $75 fee for 1-4 days stay. I would absolutely recommend this hotel and we will definitely return to stay here again when in the Destin area.

I just give you a negative point in respect to the furniture and sofa bed at the rooms, they need to be replace; they are stained, dirties, bad smell, burned with cigarettes
