Never again. I booked 2 rooms for my sister and I to go tubing. Check in was at 3 and I had a reservation at 4:00 to go snow tubing. When I arrived to the room, the bathroom had stained towel and my telephone wasn’t working so I called the front desk from my personal phone. Letting them know my towels are dirty and my phone doesn’t work.The maintenance man came and said he’ll bring a different phone. Then the house keeper came and brought me a stack of towels that appeared to be discolored from multiple uses and had a nerve to tell me they were still damp and was that okay. I told her no, I want fresh towels. So she finally brought new ones. Then my sister who’s room was across from mine had a pair of dirty underwear hanging on her bathroom door. She told the house keeper and she disposed of them. By this time we had to leave for our reservation so by the time we got back, still no phone. So me and my sister went to the front desk and asked for refund so I could go elsewhere. The lady at the front desk said she had to talk to the OWNER. The owner said he couldn’t get a refund bc 3 hours had past. I asked to speak to the manager personally, the staff member said I couldn’t talk to her or get her number. By this time I’m furious because our conversation was going nowhere so we all just packed all our stuff and went back home the same night…the place was filthy, the whole building smelled terrible and the people next to us were arguing so loud and appeared to be drug addicts.

Days in Harrisonburg sucks.
Terrible. Old outdated. Mold in bathroom. Towels are old. Microwave didn’t work. I had to beg for extra towels the next day. Dirty windows. 13inch tv. Was locked out of my room with no explanation.

Better than camping, but that’s it.
We saw a roach in the bathroom as soon as we got in. No other rooms to change out to.
Also, housekeeping left a clipboard with scrap papers/notes on them. The non-blank side of the scrap paper consisted of past guests names and portfolios as well as the in-house guest list of all guest names, room numbers, and dates of stay.

Friendly Staff, butt
The staff was super friendly and helpful, but this motel is in need or complete renovation. From switch plates falling off the wall, mold growing on the wall and ceiling leaking.

i was very displeased with this hotel. when we walked into our room there was an unpleasant smell. the bathroom counters were sticky and dirty and it was clear the sink and shower had not been cleaned in a very long time. the towels that were folded up in our room had mascara and other makeup on them and had been folded up to appear clean. the bed had stains all over the comforter and sheets. there was mascara on the pillows and hair in the bed. the sheets had clearly not been washed. the room was very unclean and I will not be coming back to stay another time.

Worst Hotel booked Days Inn Harrisonburg Va
Last minute booking! Booked Non smoking room. Room reeked of smoke.I had to clean room and put in air freshners to stand the musty odor. Curtains stinked of smoke odor. Dustball around baseboard of room, bathroom floors dirty not mopped trash particles on floors. Bathroom and room grossly out dated ,tub has rounded floor surface slippery and I fell backwards out of tub no rubber surface on tub floor very slippery and unsafe, hand rail on opposte side of tub, if you short you can not reach it. I DID HAVE MUCH SORENESS NEXT DAY FROM FALL. To top it off a Roach was found in bathroom next to the COFFEE Pot.Yes the coffee pot is in the bathroom. How sanitary is this! I was miserable all night. Had to sleep with light on afraid what else might be crawling around in there. That slippery tub really upset me after I fell. NOT SURE WHO MANAGING THIS PLACE BECAUSE THE NAME WAS REMOVED FROM WALL THAT SAYS MANAGER. IT SURE IS GIVING DAYS Inn WYNDHAM A BAD REPUTATION. I will never stay under this name again and will not recommend this place to anyone. I WANT MY MONEY BACK.. Beware if you are booking Here. The eyes and pictures shown are deceiving.They did fix the TV that wasn't working. Staff trying to work with what they have. The microwave is a fire trap waiting to catch fire, there are black spots in it exposed, was afraid to try it. Don't waste your money. Repeat Wyndham I Want my money returned! Nightmare!

Do not recommend
Room smelled musty, but was better once we turned on heater. Bed sheets were stained and would not stay on mattress. No where to sit except on beds. No extra toilet paper in bathroom. Will not stay there again!

to be fair it’s just a motel, but it could’ve been cleaner for sure, and I’m not just talking about spraying Lysol everywhere!
I told the front desk we were traveling with somebody who couldn’t do steps, they thanked me, and when I came back an hour later to pick up the keys, they put us on the top floor!

"Non smoking" supposedly "upgraded" room smelled strongly of smoke, but that may have been infused in the decades-old carpet and furnishings. All furnishings showed extreme age and wear. Cleanliness was highly suspect; streaks on mirrors clearly showed the small amount of wiping being done. Towels were observably dingy, yellowed, and threadbare -- including actual holes in towels.
We ended up not staying at the hotel.

The hotel, surroundings and rooms were filthy and wreaked of smoke. The noise of slamming doors and nightly cars doung "donuts" in the parking lot kept us awake. The staff could care less, and did not even acknowledge us when we approached the desk. Will never stay here again and would have left if there had been another room available in town.

Harrisonburg Days Inn is a no-go zone
There was blood on our sheets. We found a weapon, dirty sock, and broken clothes hanger in the couch cushions. We advised the front desk. While she did apologize for the issues, she did not do anything to rectify them. She stated she would send someone to our room to correct. When we returned, we found folded sheets on the coffee table. They did not bother to change the sheets or remove the dirty laundry, weapon, or broken items found in the couch.
Everything was dirty. There was missing trim around the doors. Holes in the walls. Nothing like the listing pictures or description. Also, please note, "Due to an unforeseen issue, there is currently no breakfast at this time." Never again. And I have advised everyone I ran across this weekend that Harrisonburg Days Inn is a no-go zone.

The lobby is awful. We were supposedly registered in a room in the "new building" - the hallway smelled horrible. The room itself was pretty beat up and had no decor on any walls. The bathroom had stains and definitely didn't feel clean. The bed was good enough to sleep on for one night but we will definitely never stay at this hotel again.

The room was dirty. Towels were dirty. Black mold in the bathroom and around the hot tub. All walls and ceilings in the room were damaged and cracked. No lights around the vanity. The coffee pot did not work. Table leg was taped together. Desk chair was worn. Pick-up truck with men grilling and drinking in the parking lot.

Our bathroom door had holes knocked out of it. Curtains hanging half off the rod mold and mildew in bathroom Peep hole in door missing. But stuffed with tissue.

Property appeared unkept with overgrown vegetation and downed trees in the parking lot. The room was filthy, with the amount of dirt and trash behind the dilapidated cabinet and nightstand suggesting it had not been cleaned in quite a while! I opened the fridge to put some drinks in it only to find cockroach’s running around the shelves. The phone didn’t work. It was a “smoking “ room but had no ashtray! It appeared that the staff was using it as the tv and a/c were on when we entered the room, along with ashes and a sticky bottle ring on the nightstand. A female who said she was with maintenance came in and said she had no idea what was wrong with the phone. When asked about the filth her reply was that they had a couple of new girls in house keeping. We requested a different room that was clean and without roaches, but received no response from the office!

Slow internet, plus the t.v. didn't work. We asked for help and a very polite young man came to fiddle around but he couldn't fix the problem. They offered us another room, but by then it was late so we stayed put. That was our second room since the first smelled of smoke. They explained that the property had been an Econolodge and they were still in the process of renovating. Staff was very polite and friendly. Facilities have major issues.

Disgusting
Upon entering our 1st room the toilet lever wouldn’t flush and neither did the tv work, The Tv wouldn’t even torn on. After the maintenance guy getting frustrated and nit able to fix it thru moved us to another room. This room was 100% worse! Urine on the toilet, dirty cotton ball and a q-tip laying in rhe corner. The lamp had yellow stains all over it- I was afraid ti touch it and the final straw was the bed sheets were dirty.

Hotel was generally dirty- floors gritty, coffee tray had coffee spills on it (clearly not cleaned before our stay). Check in was smooth. Only stayed overnight. In late out early- did not use any of the amenities advertised. Would not stay here again- although for the price I wasn’t expecting top quality.

First room bathroom sink was cracked and stopped, so they moved us to a room with one bed not two as requested. This room was worse than the first. Sink was also cracked, toilet seat was cracked, sofa was torn and dirty. No clock no iron. Closet door was leaning up against the wall. Floors were so dirty that our feet were black as coal where we had been walking. Pool was out of order and no breakfast. Ants and roaches.
They tried to check us out on friday and then did check us out a day earlier.
The pictures on the website for this days inn must have been taken at another hotel, because it definitely was not where we stayed.
It is a shame that this nasty, filthy hotel is handled by expedia and has the name Wyndam attached to it.
You will not catch we near this hotel again and maybe not even a days inn.

Check in paid for our small dog to stay 15.00and then a 50.00 deposit for a total of 65.00 more on top of almost 75.00 I paid to book the hotel. Received our key , went to our room to see a couch stained and ripped, burn holes in the bed covers to a dirty bathroom.mirror in bathroom look like it was wiped with a wet rag.draws where not the cleanest to put clothes in . My husband took pictures of mold growing in the room. We suck it up and went to sleep left early the next morning. When to check out and make sure my 50.00 deposit be returned and it was in as a no refund deposit..so for the price of 140.00 all together ..I could have stayed at the Hilton or a much better cared for hotel. So trust me I will never stay at another Days inn anywhere if this is how you run them.

It appears that all rooms have inside corrider doors. NOT! There was hair & black spots all over the bed sheets. YUK! The ice machine was broken. Advertised as including breakfast, there was no Breakfast! Personel at the hotel where hard to understand. (English was not there first language.)

First of all, I called ahead of time to ask about an early check in and was told that I could check in at 1:00p. I was hurried off the phone with no information taken. When we arrived, front desk didn’t have a clue that I had called and told me that check in was at 3:00p. After making a phone call they did rectify the situation and allowed the check in but I do not like to be viewed as a liar. I’m glad we only had to endure these conditions for two nights. The bathroom toilet was dirty/stained and the water pressure was horrible. The toilet had to be flushed like 3x. It was hot and the air conditioner barely worked. The tv kept losing sound and there was a rotten trash smell in the hallway. The room keys kept being deactivated and when I went for the third time to reset I was told in a very rude manner that it must’ve been something I was doing. After the reset, they only gave me one key back. The bed coverings were thin and to top it off there was old moldy coffee water in the coffee pot. Oh and we had to discard our own trash. Unacceptable!!

My room was filthy. Urine down the front of the toilet, and on the floor. The room had not been swept. Cobwebs and dust all over the place. Cigarette burns in both the bedspread and blanket. The wall between the air conditioning unit and the door was decayed, moldy, and rotten. When I called this to the tension of the staff, I was promised it would be taking care of. It was not do not ever stay at a days inn👎

Absolutely disgusting
This hotel was so run down that when u pull up youd think it was condemned. Get checked in pull up to my room and there are about 10 broken fridges and microwaves lined up on the sidewalk by the steps. When we entered the room it was so dirty my kid started checking the bed for bed bugs. We were only in there maybe 3 minutes when the maintenence guy pops in and says the air conditioner isnt working. The closet doors were off and shoved in the closet, the room smelled extremely strongly of cigarette smoke but i was overlooking that since it is a smoking room. Maintenence man sent us to get a new room since that room was hot and stuffy. The second room was 1000% worse. Just pulling up i witnessed 2 drug deals, and it just got worse. We walk in and this room smelled like roadkill. Seriously smelled like something or someone had died in the room. We were checking the fridge and microwave for rotting meat. It was so filthy i wouldn't put any of my bags down at that point and decided there was no way i could sleep here w my children tonight. I went back to the desk and checked out. When i explained why the woman just clammed up and gave me my receipt. No attempt to apologize or justify the horrific conditions of her hotel, just gave me a bill for the rooms. I should have read to reviews before i booked so i accepted the cost and drove the 5 hours home instead.

The front desk gentleman was very nice. Nothing wrong with staff. The problem is the property is in extreme need of maintenance and repairs. The cleaning lady cleaned but you can’t clean away rust and decay.

Budget-friendly but not a good stay
Room wasn't great. Was very dirty, we found one live roach in it, plus some dead ones. Shower had a huge clump of hair in it and floors were dirty. Beds were not comfy and sheets were itchy. Great location though, very close to everything. For the price, it's okay, but another hotel nearby was $20 more and much better, cleaner, and comfortable.

While clean, the rooms definitely need to be updated. Chips in the paint on the walls, tv randomly went to mute, bathtub was slow to drain. Did like the wood floors vs gross carpeting. Check in was quick and easy, staff very pleasant

The property was very dirty, the spread on one of the beds had a big stain. The only good point was front desk person was nice and the location was close to the university for the graduation of my granddaughter. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. I also had to kill a roach in the bathroom sink. I am shocked I had to pay for a room like this.

Firstly my credit card was charged even before i got there to check in..i was told this is weekend policy.

Required a $50 deposit for damages. Room was not maintained well, hair in shower drain, cracks and mold in grout. Came in around 11 pm, door wouldn’t open so we had to go back two times for new key, decided it was a door lock issue, then had to move to another room. I think what got me the most was that I had to leave a $50 deposit for room damages when the room was even kept up to normal standards.

This location needs to be shut down. It was the most dirty and unsafe hotel experience I’ve ever had. There was mold, grime, and hair in many places in the room. There was a large crack in the dry wall beside the door that easily could have been kicked through had someone wanted to gain entry to the room. There was wall paper peeling off everywhere, stains on everything, dust everywhere, and many holes in the walls. Stuff was also falling off of walls. There was no WiFi, the phone and tv did not work, and no breakfast of any kind. My reservation was non refundable and my family booked the hotel while my home was being rid of black mold. Finances were tight. This hotel room was too gross for my family and I to even feel comfortable showering in. We tried touch as little as possible. I did not see a single housekeeper the entire time I was there. I don’t think there is one. I have many photos and videos. This location is a law suit waiting to happen.

The first room they gave me. It had no cable tv no heat and the sink and shower filled up and would not go down. When i asked to change my room they told me no and i had to stay the rest of the week in the conditions. Then the next day they Decided to finally switch my room and once I got to that room the bathroom sink just went down the drain and go all over the floor. This is the worst Hotel I've stayed in, in my 15 years of working on the road. This Hotel should not even be on this app. It is Bad for Expedia to promote a slum lord Motel like this. I cant believe they call there selfs a Days inn.

Room was dirty with beer bottles on floor ash on bathroom floor .. Asked the front desk to have someone come clean or find us another room and they had no. They said they don't give refunds . Plus outside door did not lock so a safety issue. We had to leave and find another Hotel at 10 at night. Took photo's and recorded front desk telling us no service or refunds .

It's a basic motel and you get what you pay for. However, certain things should not have happened. The female manager was rude and condescending to both me and another staff member when I asked for coffee in the lobby. The coffee provided had not been brewed properly. Also, I was worried about security when the first room to which I was given a key contained other people's mess/stuff. Overall, a budget friendly way to stay but with no expected luxury and a few snags.

Nasty dirty room
It was dirty, i watched cockroaches walk accross the tv cabinet!! The bathroom was awful...dirty .i wouldnt take a shower for any reason..
I slep on top of the bed in my clothes.
I should of been paid to sleep there!!
I will never use this motel again !!

Price is hogh for the confort. Old looking room dirty floors. Nasty batroom. VanityFaucet not working properly. Toilet dnt flush. The bed is not conftable feels like laying on concrete. Its like a motel that worth 40$. No breakfast included .paying 80$ for this room was worthless.

Dirty and scary
There was animal hair on a floor that wasn’t even carpet hair on clean sheets in bed floors dirty and baby roaches. I would’ve left but I was too tired to drive anymore. I never even showered there I was afraid to bring my bags in the place I went to a truck stop and showered tv did not work either said they were short staff

As we were checking in, two other guests were asking for new rooms due to roaches. When we got to our room, not only were there roaches, but the room was filthy. I don't mean just a little dirty, I mean FILTHY. We reworked to the front desk and asked for a refund. The lady refused to give out money back, but we left anyway. We contacted Expedia, and they contacted the hotel. The staff member lied and said that we were not happy with the area and that is why we left. Ok, lady, then why did we stay at the hotel next door?

Gross hotel - Online pictures misleading
Had to cancel before checking in. The motel was much grosser than it appeared in pictures online. The reviews about it overall cleanliness were enough to make me book somewhere else & eat the 1 night charge.
