Good stay. Clean hotel. Good breakfast selection. Only complaint is they did not switch over the hotel heating unit. I had cool air blowing from the room system. The thermal system was turn to heat in the room, but was blowing cool air. I turn it up to 80 degrees and it still blow cool air. I call the front desk and they said they had no control over the hotel heating and that management control the heating unit.

Won't need an alarm
Garbage truck comes at or before 5:00 AM making a TON of noise. Backup beeps. Dumpster slamming. Talked to the staff and was told "never thought of asking them to come during the daytime". Reminded them they are paying this company to come to hotel that is typically occupied at night.

The hotel is clean and the front desk staff attentive and efficient. There were a few things that needed to be fixed, the fridge in the room was not cold, the ice machine in the 2 nd floor didn’t work the drapes had come lose and didn’t close all the way. This is the third time we stayed there and they were out of many things on the breakfast. I know it’s free but it was sadly lacking.

Arrived late at night after driving with 3 kids. There was only one lady working the whole hotel by herself, who had stepped away from the front desk and left a sign up. The line built up to about 7 guests waiting for someone to return. When she did, you could tell she was overwhelmed and needed help. I went to check in and told her my room was prepaid with hotels.com. She said she didn’t have any rooms left and the system wasn’t working to stop taking reservations. After unloading all our luggage and kids and arriving late, we didn’t have options. She offered us one last room but didn’t know the condition of it. When we got there, it had definitely not been cleaned and appeared to have been used to do drugs. I cleaned up the paraphernalia myself, and did the best with what we had available but it was definitely the worst experience. Not the lady at the front desk’s fault, but terrible that they left her in that position by herself.

The hotel advertises a pool, it was closed. No explanation, and we had already paid. After telling the kids all day that the hotel had a pool- it was very disappointing. We had a room that houses 4. There was 2 towels. The pull out couch was missing it’s bedding. I called the front desk, they told me to come get it. We will never be back.

When we got there the toilet was plugged I called front desk they told me I had to plug it myself it took them 2 hours to find a plunger. We had to use bathroom in lobby until they finally got me a plunger which was covered in poop. I did housekeeping job and plunged someone else’s mess so we could use the bathroom in our room !

The hotel itself was very nice! Our room was comfortable, the complimentary breakfast was great! Our one complaint - we booked it specifically because it had an indoor pool that my grandchildren were looking forward to. It was closed, which they didn’t bother to let me know until we checked in.

Liked, the staff was really friendly, liked the breakfast sandwiches and choices, did not like - seemed understaffed. When we got there we had to wait to get checked in for 15 minutes. Also when I came to desk to ask for an item, no one was around to help me so I left without getting what I was requesting.

This is our 3rd time staying at this location. It’s always clean and the staff always friendly. This is a very popular location for travelers and they seem to always be booked. The only downside to this hotel is their terrible breakfast. Luckily, breakfast is not a big deal for us, so it’s not a deal breaker.

This is the second stay we have had at this hotel. The staff is always friendly and the location can’t be beat (right off the freeway and close to everything you need.) The beds are comforts and the rooms clean. The only thing that might be a problem for some is that you can hear heavy walkers and kids jumping around in the rooms above you. So I guess the ceiling walls are thin. It doesn’t bother me so much and does not deserve a ding to the hotels ratings. We are staying here again in a few weeks.

I had been at a Fairfield Marriott in Savannah the night before , on my road trip. They had a most delicious breakfast with a type of egg white frittata - was hoping Roanoke would offer the same. the "eggs" provided don't seem like real eggs. the offering at Savannah was really wonderful for breakfast. Maybe Roanoke could get the recipe?

First room was dirty. Apparently the fourth one that day that had not been cleaned and the bed just made with dirty sheets. Second room, remote didn’t work for the TV.

The man that checked in was very unfriendly to us.
He put us in room 531, but the tv would mot work so we asked for another room. This really upset him. But put us in 529 which worked nicely.
On the other hand, we met the maintenance person to mention the tv problem in 531. He was just a delightful person and made up for the bad check in experience

Very clean nice room. The shower was probably the best hotel shower, easy to get in and out and water pressure was great. For breakfast, they had spinach cheese muffin size bites that were wonderful~~~I’d love the recipe! The only thing i would change is the pics of the room I booked. It showed a couch in pics which due to neck issues is easier for watching TV. The clerk explained that is only in suites. Upon checking pics again, it definitely showed couch in pic!

We only stayed for a night. However, breakfast items were never replenished after it was gone. No hot breakfast despite being there 1.5 hr before breakfast was closed. We waited and waited, thinking it was going to be refilled. Never did.

This property says it’s Pet Friendly- no heads up on the fee yet charged an additional $50 for a 23 lb terrier for 1 night. This dog is well behaved and was told it didn’t matter what kind of a dog she was. That is NOT pet friendly
