Tv didn’t work in first room clerk gave a list of codes to try instead of fixing it. Have me another room air conditioner heating unit didn’t work shower water didn’t get hot enough!! Will never stay there or recommend them

It was an ok place to sleep. Great AC and bed was comfortable. Water pressure for shower was below average and temperature of the water was below average. But it’s an ok place to stay.

Awful review
Lighting was horrible, one lamp bulb missing, bathroom vanity light disgusting, refrigerator stunk wouldn’t use, wind blew in at the door, no anti slip in the tub shower, Luke warm water in the shower, sink was hot, lamp by tv didn’t work

This hotel is dirty, with roaches, and terrible smell, comforter and sheets have cigarette burns. Tv did not work. People party all night long outside rheur doors.
I was in my room and heard someone at my door trying to get in. I could hear them putting the card in door to open it. The office had given them keys to my room, unacceptable. Someone else could have walked right into my room. Horrible hotel.

Hell hotel.
The worst experience my husband and I have ever had on a booking. To say it was deceiving is an understatement. Unfortunately we had car problems so we were at the mercy of this hell hole until we could leave the following morning, which did not come soon enough. We have never felt the need to place a chair in front of the door and yet we did. The room was disgusting and bug infested. We could not unpack or even attempt to try to sleep. Toilet lid broken just to mention a few things.

Check-in and check-out were quick and easy, and staff was polite and professional. The bed sheets seemed clean, but the bathroom had a used towel on the door and a hair clump hanging from the faucet. The room smelled strongly of stale cigarette smoke, and the blanket had cigarette burn holes in it. When I came home my family said I smelled like cigarettes and I have never smoked, nor was I around smokers. Additionally, there was an internal deadbolt, but no safety lock/chain, which should be required especially when door access is to the outside.

Had reservations but arrived and they had one room left which was not the type I reserved. Most everything in the room other than hot water and AC was broken or damaged. Most lights missing bulbs. Only lights in room were one small bed light and bathroom lights. Hotel very neglected, staff friendly but the guests staying there were a mix of prositutes, pot smokers and the rest either had screaming fights all night or played music top volume. Had to sleep and all other hotels were booked so had to deal with it but will not be back. The bed sheets were clean so that was a plus.

11/24 Rm 131 roof in the shower was hanging where you can see the wire in the ceiling. The floor was not swept or mopped at all especially under the bed. 11/25 my room was changed to Rm 134 by the pool. After unpacking I went to put water on my face and I notice in the sink looks like someone vomited in the sink and left it dried up hard. I took a picture and went back to the front desk and he asked me what do I want him to do. I told him I’m tired right now and need some sleep but I wanted to bring it to your attention so he told me to tell the guy in the morning who will be working the front desk. Well I tried to get some rest and the room next to me to the right was having a party and the music was so loud til I couldn’t sleep. So I called the front desk and spoke to the young lady and she was nice enough to walk around to the room next door to me and have them turn the music down but they only turned it down a little. I was going to stay another night but the customer service was not good at all because the guy at the desk who I told about the sink he told me sometimes when the room next door flush the toilet it might come up through the sink. If this hotel knows there is an issue with their rooms why rent them out if there is sanitation and hazardous issues and problems. I would like a refund for my 2 nights. The girl say she will send the picture to her boss but no one reached out to me or refunded the money

The tv had static on every channel. The bed was very hard. The floor in the room was sticky. The lighting in the room was terrible. You couldn't even see the whole room with all the lights on. There was only one lock on the door

Room smelled musty. After settling in, found that the tv worked poorly. The desk attendant tried to help but had no luck. He blamed it on the cable company. We were to be on the second floor, asked for the first floor because of our dog. Because we have a dog, we were charged an additional 20 dollars. For what? Provided no bed for the dog, no treats or TV!! All I can say is NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!!

It was clean and adequate but needs cosmetic care. Breakfast was very minimal. Bagels were stale! Would’ve been nice to at least see the lake behind it.

Holes on the wall that looked like gunshots
With mole exposed. Bathroom door was broken . AC took hours to cool . Mattress and bed sheets had stains . Non smoking room smelled like cigarettes. Cable tv was outdated by 30 years. Room lamps and tables had Rust .

Wasted my money , were driving from texas to kisseme for my brothers death & rm 213 was discussing nasty dirty shower we couldn't even shower the tub was so black n the walls are black n dirty just like the tub , the air vet n the walls were full.of dirt stinks we just wanted to sleep 6 hours we arrived late n checked out by 10 am so practically 6 hours n that dirty ass room n i also told the front desk guy about it n nothing just looked at me stupid never again i deserve a refund n i have pictures to n all je had to say was thanks very nasty bath tub was pissed wasted that for something so dirty frist time ever never again

The customer service was the worst my room that I had booked was not cleaned so we changed rooms and the room we changed to was not cleaned all all the way rouches were in the bed and the sheets were dirty

I should have taken some pictures.
The rooms Needs to be renovated, paint,appliances,lambs, doors ect.. The best thing was the matress very comfortable. You need to go to the office and tell them you want your room clean and need clean towels. If you don't know thats the rule, you would wonder why your bed linen and towels are not change.

This is the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed up the minute I lay down. I was bitten by thousands of bed bugs and had to leave the property and then they were not refund my money. Don’t stay here

Econo “I don’t care!” Lodge
It’s an absolute dump!
The beds are uncomfortable.
It smells musty.
The staff are clueless.
The manager in absent.
Computers are constantly not working.
The place is majorly neglected.
It screams, “I don’t care whether you like it here or not.”
My advice: “Stay somewhere else”!
Even if you have to drive a little further. It will be worth it.

Nightmare at Econo Lodge Sebring, Florida
I can't speak for the entire hotel and their rooms but my Room 137 was at first entrance, dingy with odd cheap furnishings, old damaged tables, night stands etc. .. the bed looked OK but when I pulled back the cover blankets the white sheets were wrinkled with minor tears. The two pillows were so thin I stuffed them with towels to make them a bit thicker. As the evening progressed, I was tired and dozed off and woke up after midnight to use the washroom and stepped on live bugs (roach type) wandering around on the floor. Thank god they weren't bed bugs. I killed at least 8 to 10 bugs. The rest of the night I slept in my clothes and with the lights on. The furniture was dusty and spider webs under the air conditioner and bottom of night tables and dresser. There were holes and cracks in walls and ceilings and the toilet paper holder was broken so toilet paper was on top of the tank. Bottom line, avoid this Econo Lodge in Sebring, Florida … especially Room 137. I tried to switch rooms around 2 a.m. but there was no night staff available. This stay was the worst non-sleep experience I've ever had and I've stayed in many, many hotel before.

We did not stay. We left when we found hair in sticky substance on sheets. Very dirty. I will be getting in touch with you for a refund.We are at Rodeway in Clermont. You should not be taking reservations for Econ-lodge. I am very surprised have never had this happen dealing with Expedia before.Kim Jackson

A BUG INFESTED DUMP. Sticky, filthy floors and walls, In 4 days, we were never offered clean towels. Our trash was never emptied, and our room never cleaned. The television's picture was fuzzy, and the person at checkout on Sunday was rude, trying to convince me that the problems were our fault. REALLY? We asked to have the room sprayed, but it never happened. Stay far away from this dump. They refused to give us a receipt for our stay on top of everything!.

This hotel was by far the WORST room ever. Extremely filthy, sheets had holes in them, room smelled like smoke and it was a non smoking room. Mold everywhere in bathroom, moldy shower cutrain, the flatest pillows we have had to sleep on. No extras towels, no extra blankets. Had no toiletpaper in 1 or my rooms, I had 2 rented. My 1 room had a broken microwave, the other had so much rust coming through the outside of the mini fridge, holes all throughout my walls and water leaking up through my floor. The diriest walls and light switches I have ever seen! A few bagels and muffins for their "breakfast". And dont bother asking for any utensils or paper plates, the staff are extremely rude and not accommodating. Never got asked to see my ID when checking in. Have homeless living in hotel / their vehicles. Definitely would NOT recommend this hotel!! Better off staying home if this is your only choice to stay!!

I've stayed at this property several times since 2015, the last of which was in 2019.
This stay was an absolute nightmare. First, I was given a smoking room in error, which was so filthy. I had them change the room and, although the new room was better, the place was still dirty, with little bugs crawling around in the bathroom.
What they had as "breakfast" was a joke - coffee, orange juice, English muffin and some cupcakes - that was it! There were no eggs, no toast, no fruits.
The place seems to have turned into a truck stop and I will never stay there again and I do not recommend this place to anyone.

Room was dirty with cobweb with bugs attached in the corner behind the door. Wall recepticle next to the bed was broken on the bottom plug, comforter had a cigarette burn, the chair vinyl was peeling off all over, lamp on the nightstand was rusty and plugs came out with when you remove your plug. Too bad I can't upload photos.

I have never seen such a dirty filthy Econo lodge ever! The list is too long. Needs a total overhaul in every aspect or maybe just knock it down and put up a new micro hotel. I would never rest my head on that pillow let alone even sit on a bed or chair.

It looked fine online, but in person is a different story. The place is neglected and worn out and very unpleasant. If it passes Choice hotel's standards, then they have no standards. I am disappointed that such a property is promoted by Expedia.

When I entered the room, the stench of cat urine was overpowering. I would have asked for a different room but the place was completely booked. The inside of the room door was filthy and looked like something in an episode of "COPS". I had an allergic reaction to the cat urine odor. Broken, dirty lampshade. This place was really, really bad.

The property is not well kept, the room and bath was dirty. There were black footprints on the ceiling. The check in was outside through a small security window. My wife calls this place the ‘The Bates Motel’. We will not be staying there again.

The room was musty and smelly. We checked in late otherwise we would have left. The air conditioner did not work, however did provide some air circulation when it would go on about every 20 minutes with a load noise. The shower curtain rod was barely attached and there was some old dry wall patch, about 3' sqaure that was not painted. Terrible experience.

Second stay at this property. First was acceptable, year later, TV screen half dark, bathroom fixtures inoperable or broken. Police came in the middle of the night to eject screaming woman (no staff intervention, so screaming went on for some time). No trash pickup, of course, no room service during 4 night stay (as is typical these days). Overall, property was in need of major re-burb.

The property was quite dirty. Cigarette burns on the sheets, layer of grime and dust on the furniture, office chair material was peeling off, shower wasn’t working. I know the place was cheap, so I wasn’t expecting much, but man it was just filthy.

DO NOT STAY HERE. The property is in severe disrepair, not cared for, not clean, and we felt so unsafe we forfeited our reservation and paid for an expensive suite at another hotel. In addition, we were not the only ones who left without checking in. The room smelled heavily like cigarette smoke (gave both my husband and I breathing problems for the brief 5-10 minutes we checked out the room for issues, and the sheets clearly were not changed after the last occupant. There was a couple sitting on the stairs smoking (with their young child just feet away) and two guys hanging out in the parking lot watching the comings and goings of everyone staying there. The attendee checking people in at the window was nice enough, but powerless to offer a solution. After contacting Expedia and the property manager, any manner of refund was refused by the property manager. Expedia did issue a coupon for future bookings, but this isn't just a matter of us not liking the room and wanted to make others aware before booking.

There was a ton of misquotes in the front to check in and out then I made it to my room,there was a lot more in the front of my door. Every time I walked outside they would come inside and would end up lying on the bed,the bathroom sink or even stay on the ceiling. Also I tried to use the toilet but then after I flushed it, the back of the toilet was over flowing so water was all over the floor. There was no remote for the tv and the room smelled really dirty. One of the worst motels I’ve stayed at.
