The first room they put me in, which was supposed to be a non-smoking room, reeked of marijuana smell. The second room, although smelling fine, had uncleaned trash on the floor and cockroaches in the room.

Yuck!
This was one of the dirtiest places I have ever stayed. The floors were so filthy the dog wouldn't even lay on them. There was gross stuff stuck to the wall in the shower, tv, phone, and most lamps did not work. It was Christmas Eve and there was not a lot of options or we would have left. Not a good stay at all.

Nasty. Roaches. Drugs. Room was nothing like pictures on website. Walls very thin and i heard everything all night long. I will not be back. Run from this one. Only reason i stayed is i drove a long time to see family.

Worst hotel experience I had!
I called the property at 930pm to tell them i would be arriving near midnight. The clerk told me no problem see you then. My wife and i arrived just before midnight after driving from south Florida. No clerk in the lobby and the lobby wide open. We called the phone number to the property no answer. We called Quality Inn customer service who then tried to contact someone at the property and no answer. We called hotels.com to getthem to help. They too tried calling all phone numbers associated with the property, and still no answer. A homeless manwas sleeping in a chair in the lobby we were there for an hour before we abandoned all hope of accessing our booked room and went to a different hotel. I have used hotels.com and have stayed at some sub par locations but this one takes the cake. I recommend you book elsewhere and don't waste your time with this location. In fact let me roccemend the Baymont by Windham that was more than accomadating to a travelling couple at 1am.

I rented a room for two of my employees. They were sent to two different rooms were the rooms were not clean 100% and I had a smell of marijuana inside of it.

Bath faucet was broken and running all night. PTAC units were set so you can never turn off the high pitch squeak. Inscence sticks and ash were scattered in front of the ac unit and the chair. And, the ac unit put out so much condensation that you walk thru the puddles just before walking down the slippery steps. Who decided to paint the concrete? It was so slippery on those steps.

This motel says it's pet friendly. I paid the 15/night. It was me and my kids and our dog. My partner was meeting us later. Kids wanted to go to the pool and we were told you can't leave dogs unattended in room. The sign for the pool said no dogs in the pool, not the pool area. I got yelled at for having a dog in the pool area. I asked what am I supposed to do with my dog and he said "I don't know what to tell you". I ended up having to put my dog in the car so my kids could swim. The pool had bugs in it. The area surrounding the pool had junk all over the place. The least of their concerns should be my dog. The room also only had tiny towels. The hot water ran out and the shower and sink drains got clogged and wouldn't drain very well. There was a fishy odor coming from them as well. I won't stay here again. I did like that it's beside a pizza place that we enjoyed thoroughly. The price does reflect the experience so I'll keep that in mind next time.

Unfortunately we had to deal with a large biker group who were there to celebrate and were quite loud. It was disappointing that the room did not have better noise reduction as conversations outside were hard as if the people were in the room.

RUN! Stay someone else or at least not in room 120
I called to the hotel about 6pm to let them know my boyfriend would possibly be checking in prior to me getting there and that we were still coming and both traveling on the road. I ended up getting there first to learn that we after I called and told them I was on the road and still coming they canceled my reservation because the owner says to cancel them by 6pm if you have not checked in. So after the front desk clerk reinstating my reservation I was checked into room 120. HORRIBLE! I killed several roaches the first night. The ceiling is peeling looks like from water damage or a water leak from the room above, the shower curtain had a mountain of mold, the tub handle had some type of white residue on it. The covers had cigarette burns on them…the list goes on but I will stop. Pictures provided below!!!

AWFUL
THE DOOR WOULD NOT OPEN NOT UNLESS THEY OPEN IT I COULD NOT GO NO WHERE BECAUSE THEY WERE LEAVING MY DOOR OPEN. IT WAS JAMMED AND THEY WOULD NOT MOVE ME THEY CLAIM THAT THEY DID NOT HAVE ANYMORE ROOMS AND THE ROOM WAS DIRTY

I booked a non-smoking room through Expedia. Ice requested pet friendly. I wound up with a smoking room, with obvious burn damage on the bedspreads as well as the stools. I also then rip was required to pay extra pet fee which I should have known about from Expedia. I slept in my clothes because I did not want to be exposed to any potential diseases since the room was so gross. Very disappointed!

It looked as though someone had just slept in the bed, cigarette burns in the bedspread, bath faucet control did not work properly either extreme hot or extreme cold water!! Also the smell in the room was awful!! We started to leave the moment we entered the room , but were out of options because of time!! Will never stay there again!!!

Worst Hotel Ever
Mold, Mildew, Rust, lamps not working, room door not shutting all the way, carpet stained and gum stuck in it, pillow cases stained yellow and couldnt get ahold of laundry to get new ones, and last but definitely not least BUGS. Flies, saw 1 roach, some black things and some white ones. Have tried waiting for hotels.com via phone and chat but no answers. Oh also, somehow I was assigned a handicapped room not a regular room. Very frustrated. I really almost hope to get a refund. As a woman being there by myself I did not feel secure at all.

Person at the front desk not doing reservations search after front desk person stated that they dont have room availability. The washcloth been dirty and i have to requests for it. I wish it was honest services which is not . I hope they upgrade their hospitality better next times.

Not recommended
Beds were way too small. Smelled like smoke even though it was a non smoking room. Not updated. Did not feel comfortable at all but my card was already charged so just had to deal with for one night.

Quality Inn Review
Our stay in greenwood was good overall because of the experience of greenwood itself but the hotel wasn't what we expected at all. The hotel wasn't as clean as advertised and we assumed it would be. Had problems with the key card not working, the pillows had mold on them, walls and floor molding was dirty, and there were stains on the couch, and sheets. Although the bed was comfortable, it was the only thing pleasant about the stay and even then we were skeptical of it all. We have a problem with hotels advertising cleanliness and then present other results. Overall I wouldn't recommend this hotel to others or be staying at this hotel in the future.

Guest above our room was visibly selling drugs lut of the window, yelling in the parking lot until pretty late at night...sheets on both beds had stains, the tub dripped constantly, no water pressure, creamer in room was expired, cabinet with fridge in it had dried food spilled in the bottom. Was too tired to complain to front desk after driving 14hrs, we hust went to bed and left as early as possible. Will not use this hotel again

Oh just fantastic from the room air conditioner and the fridge in the room and the shows on the tv and the free soaps and the free coffee and the parking lot with a spot for the truck and the pillows and blankets on the bed and the sink worked and the door locked and the curtains weren't torn and everything. Even had chairs in the room!!!

The room smelled horrible and was not clean. There was hair in the shower and bottle caps in the floor. The occupant next door was very loud. I contacted the service desk twice, but it did no good. Teenagers were out in corridor partying until 5:00 in the morning. It was awfulb

Worst hotel I have stayed at in awhile.
Not very clean. No hot water in the shower, no cold water in the sink. No strike plate in the door lock. Blind would not pull all the way down so light coming in all night.

I was very pleased with the friendliness, cleanliness, and quality of the hotel room and staff. I was very disappointed in the quality of the eggs and sausage at the breakfast during my mornings there Saturday and Sunday. The scrambled eggs, sausage patties, and links were completely overcooked, rubbery, and the sausage was very spicey without being labeled as such. After staying the night before at the quality inn in commerce, ga, and having a delicious breakfast of perfectly cooked cheese omelets and non spicey sausage patties, greenwood's quality inn needs to take some notes from them.

Outdated and in poor condition.
The hotel is very outdated and in very poor condition. The swimming pool was out of service and looked like it had been that way for a long time. The pictures on their web site in no way represent the condition of the property.

the staff were great...the breakfast was good...eggs..sausage patties,waffles,bagels, oatmeal,, dry cereal, juice, coffee..some fruit..the room. the bedding was good...the tv remote would not work correctly. bathroom itself needed detailing...and a good cleaning..but nothing that would make us pack our bags and leave...just needed more cleaning around tub area...and tiles scrubbed..the price was a good deal...

my daughter and grandson received electrical shock when they touch shower handle and could not take shower in their room. they had to come to my room to take bath.,I reported problem to front desk... I will not stay there again..

For a Quality Inn - it was fairly run down. There was no place to park near out room - we had to park on the next section of the hotel around the corner. The TV didn't work - we called the office they came and said it was fixed - it was not. I finally turned it off - we left fairly early the next morning and probably won't stay at a Quality Inn again.

Never Again
I was not satisfied with the first room because it was not as clean as it should have been, there was a gap at the bottom of the door, the smoke detector was chirping, the air conditioning unit sounded like an airplane engine, the bed had hair in it, the bathroom door would not close all the way, there were several flies in the room, and when we went to the pool it was filthy and I refused to get in it or let my kids get in. The staff were attentive and allowed us to change rooms the next day. The 2nd room was better, but not the best. The sheets were dirty, and the beds are not comfortable at all, however, I appreciate the assistance I received from staff and management although I was complaining frequently.

The service was friendly and professional even the maintenance guy, but the room, especially the carpet was dirty and dusty. The was even a used Q-tip under the sink. The cleaning team needs some work and a new vacuum cleaner.

No likes about this property, it was filthy! Smoke detector wires hanging out of the wall, the vents in the bathroom caked in filth and there were no outlet covers on any of the outlets in my room. Terrible experience!

A roughly used room
When I first arrived, The room was warm and stuffy and smelled like an ashtray. I was in a hurry to get to a funeral so I merely turned on the air conditioner quickly changed after a 3 Hour Dr. and hurried to the funeral home. When I returned, the room smelled a little bit better. I noted the ashtray next to the TV, which explained the aroma. Memo to me: next time confirm it is a non-smoking room. The bathroom door knob was missing on the inside and set in a permanently locked setting. The wood around the door knob was busted and look like it had been kicked open and poorly repaired. I took pictures but the app keeps crashing.

Desk clerk was marvelous and did everything she could to make a bad situation better. I definitely reserved a double non-smoking room with a non-refundable rate which I had already been charged for. When I got there the room that was reserved was a smoking and they asked for my credit card to charge for the room. I told her I booked non-smoking and had already been charged. She tried to change it in the system but was unable to so she had to call the manager. I had to leave because we had an appointment with my realtor but upon return it had all been taken care of. It was frustrating. On one bed the bottom sheet had a hole in it and on the other there was a big stain on the top sheet. Light near the tv didn't work but all else was ok.

Out of harms way...Hurricane Florence
We evacuated from Myrtle Beach to avoid the hurricane coming to our coastline. We had two little cats with us. I found this hotel online as pet friendly, booked 4 days. We were able to get back to our home and left one day early. We were. It charged for the fourth day for which we were happy.

Pros:
Area and hotel appeared and felt safe.
Comfortable bed.
(4) pillows so we didn't have to fight over the 3rd.
Nice pool just needed to be cleaned a little better.
Cons:
Phone didn't work.
Large gap under from door which let lots of light in.
Stains all over the bedspread. Some I think were just dirt and makeup from not being washed.
Cabinet door that kept the mini fridge was broken and had a bungee cord to keep it shut.

Truly awful
Bedbugs, exterior lock broken, no drain plugs for sink or tub bath, filthy carpet, creepy clientele hovering outside in the parking lot. ....And the front desk staff just shrugged and seemed not to care. I cannot remember a motel experience this bad. We breathed a sigh of relief after leaving. Sleep in your car rather than stay in this nightmare of a place !
