Could barely open microwave door
Have stayed here many times and always pleased with the hotel. Two adverse factors this trip.
First, the microwave in Room 108 is mounted too close to the refrigerator, so that the microwave door doesn't open satisfactorily. Only opened about 5 or 6 inches wide, barely enough to slide a cup of coffee in for a heat-up, and that included some arm contortions to reach around the edge of the door to try to get access. Quite annoying.
Second issue was quite minor. The shampoo dispenser was jammed and/or out of service. Had to ask housekeeping for a replacement.
Otherwise, my wife and I have always been thoroughly pleased with this Residence Inn.

great location
great location near I26, restaurants and shopping. the room as has a kitchenette, sofa and desk/chair. light in kitchen was out, and the two reading lamps next to bed were out. fan on a/c ran constantly and could not be turned off.

This was just one of several overnight stops on our way from MI to FL. We were traveling with my elderly parents so we opted for 2-bedroom suites. Clean modern unit.
Check-in went well, staff were friendly and professional.
Room had two bedrooms with full bathrooms
Large full kitchen including basic kitchen supplies
Nice breakfast buffet
Appreciated the shampoo, conditioner and body wash bottles. Imagine reduces the cost and better for the environment. Previous location forgot to refill this stay was good.
No staff members wearing masks. Our concern is if any ever test positive how would guests know so they can plan accordingly. Would appreciate masks, especially staff working the breakfast buffet.
No hand sanitizer stations near the breakfast area
Room light switches limited. Difficult for elderly ones to cross dark unfamiliar rooms to search for a lamp switch.
Overall good stay and would choose this location again.

Beautiful room. Lowest toilet that I have seen in many years. TV was hard to figure out. The night I checked in I could not get it to change station. Next morning it was ok but I turned it off to go downstairs and when I returned it would not change from Marriot station.

Felt really bad for the front desk person on duty. It was late on Christmas Day, and there had already been a plumbing disaster from a burst pipe, that was visible in the front lobby. She was alone and definitely looked frazzled. But she was pleasant, and very helpful. She took in stride the need for non-feather bedding (due to severe allergy), and was very polite and accommodating. BTW they have a highly ridiculous debit card policy posted; but it is not on the website and not on Expedia, and she was able to help us navigate it without major penalty. I would definitely call ahead if you use a debit card for check in, as it was absurd and not expected (I actually looked for a debit card policy before booking the room and none was found). The room was clean, the hotel was clean and quiet. We were in a two bedroom suite that exceeded our expectations. Will definitely consider coming back.

Locally located meaning you. An get to Lexington or Columbia easily and route 26 is nearby to go to Charleston airport. Excellent hotel will stay again

Overall our stay was nice. The front desk staff was welcoming, the hotel room was nice and clean. Great little kitchenette area with everything you would need. The breakfast was great and the fact that it was a hot breakfast type food, was even better. Would definitely stay here again.

The good: beds were very comfortable
The bad: the couch was very uncomfortable and should be replaced
The ugly: there was little curly black hairs ALL over the bathroom floor, stained towels and dirty dishes in the dishwasher.
I would not stay here again because of the lack of cleaning.

We liked the room and bathroom. The shower is fantastic!!
The only issues I had were 2:
- A small amount of mold in the wonderful shower.
- The breakfast bar had little in the way of protein, except bacon. Some scrambled eggs would be much better than than the egg/sausage/jalepeno biscuits.

We only chose this property because of how clean it was the first time we stayed. This time we had a horrible experience, the check in guy was not friendly at all. Our bathroom had not been cleaned still had dried hair and feces on the toilet. My boyfriend and I left the property just to use the restroom. When we made the front desk aware of the issue he replied they were completely booked. The next morning I showed the attendant who seemed flustered and the manager.

The outside appearance was clean and well kept. Walking in, we were greeted by a very friendly desk staff. The inside was clean and the breakfast included offered several choices both hot and cold. Our room was clean and spacious and had a comfortable bed. I liked the kitchen area with the full size fridge, we had food that needed to be cold so saved from having to fill the cooler more than once.

I didn’t like whoever it was at the front desk on morning shift we ask for later checkout and was given that and when our time was approaching the front desk woman call several times and came to the second floor several time beating on door it was like they was tryna rush us out the room so housekeeping can clean not giving use enuff time to get our thing situated. I will not be coming back

Clean, comfy, safe, friendly, & great service!
We arrived around 1 AM. The manager on duty that evening / early morning was superb. She was very nice, thorough, quick, & when we saw her again the next morning diligently cleaning around the breakfast area, she is also obviously a hard diligent worker. The room was fantastic. Quiet. Very little odor from carpet cleaning chemicals.
No complaints. I have some suggestions for future remodels & warnings for current visitors.
Suggestion - LVP flooring. If you are a pet friendly hotel or at least offer some rooms as pet friendly, consider Luxury Vinyl Plank or Waterproof Laminate flooring w/ a cushy underlayment for your next update / upgrade. It just makes sense. Way easier to maintain, clean, & sanitize. Makes customers feel a little better about walking around in their rooms. This change should lead to larger cost savings & maybe even lower those pet fees for those traveling w/ pets.
My warning is for parents of small children. This hotel went with the "modern / clean lines" look. That means rectangles, squares & 90 degree cuts = sharp angles on furniture with pointy corners.
Some curious choices 4 a hotel of this caliber:
No toilet paper holder.
No lotions - even most cheap places offer them. The wife notices these things.
A/C control - Wall mounted at toddler height. They love buttons. Ugh.
Great, strong fold down seat for a handicapped bathtub, but would make more sense to put in a walk in / wheel in shower.

Clean, updated and spacious. Beds are not super comfortable and the pull out couch was worn down, but overall i would stay again. EVERY staff member that i encountered was supef nice and accommodating. Plenty of eating places close by, close to interstate 26.

I booked 2 rooms and my sister booked 1. Check in was at 4 and we arrived about 5:30. Two of the rooms were not ready. The ironing board in our room was broken and there were two bugs in our room. I will not stay here again.

Great Hotel
This is a great hotel. It was the best place we stayed on our long journey.
The staff at this hotel were amazing, and the check-in was smooth and quick. The little 2 room suite was very comfortable with everything you need for an extended stay, including a full size frig, a microwave, a kitchen sink, and a few dishes. The bed and pillows were awesome. The bathroom was well appointed with big fluffy towels. The temperature controls worked well, so it was easy to find a comfortable room temperature, the TV work well and there were plenty of channels to choose from including HBO, Showtime, ESPN and Netflixs. The Wi-Fi was easy and worked very well. The hot breakfast was included free and was great with decent choices. The complementary coffee was good.
The hotel seemed COVID clean. Even breakfast was presented in a COVID safe manner. We felt safe at this hotel.
We were very pleased with this facility and will definitely choose this hotel the next time we are in the area. Our average cost per night was $97.

I really wanted to like this hotel. My toddler and I were staying here mostly due to location to the hospital. We were here visiting my grandmother ho was having emergency surgery. At first our stay was okay until I got up my last morning there to find a roach crawling across my bathroom door. I was very disgusted by this, especially since my toddler was with me. This will be my last stay at this hotel indefinitely. I will be contacting Travelocity for a refund!

We have stayed at this property several times this summer for several visits due to an ill family member. The staff are friendly and the rooms are always very clean.
However, they don’t do a check to make sure everything in the room works before the next guests come in. These are the issues we encountered over SEVERAL visits: AC not working, TV not working, dishwasher not working, burnt out bulbs in lamps, and missing TV remote.

The facility is new and beautiful. On the 1st night of my stay I noticed someone had been smoking in the elevator (I saw the recently extinguished cigarette on the floor). The air conditioning was struggling to keep it cool on a very hot day ( this is normal for an older property but I assume when the a/c was installed they knew Columbia SC gets hot in the summer ). I called to check breakfast hours and to see if there were any special Covid protocol. I was told they had breakfast covered and hours was 6 am until 10. I go breakfast at 6:15 and was told that it didn’t begin. Until 8. And she even pointed to a sign. I went to speak to the manager at the front desk. Nobody was there. I picked this place because of breakfast.

we had a great over night stay here for a softball tournament , the check in was great , the room was clean and correct , and we enjoyed the outside seating area that evening , great stay and close enough to restaurants to walk to in 5 minutes .This is our new go to for tournaments in Lexington.

We had a studio which was beyond what we were expecting. Kitchenette with dishes. A dining table. Living room area. The bed slept wonderful. And the bathroom was very spacious!! We enjoyed everything about it and can't wait to book again!!

There was food left in the refrigerator and the power to the room was off, so the refrigerator and kitchen area smelled foul. My room was not cleaned the next day and there was no breakfast available in the morning.

I really regret having to write this negative review because I have stay at this location several times and have always had a pleasant experience. My first stay was shortly after they had opened and it was amazing, the lobby and common area are nicely decorated well kept and clean. However with the stay we found our room to be half cleaned and when reported to the front desk the assured me that a deep cleaning would occur the next day which it did not. The covers were pulled up on the beds and the sofa bed was untouched, towels were replaced minus the wash cloths and the trash was emptied but that was all the deep cleaning we received. The staff is very professional and friendly. Unfortunately the young man checking me in didn’t understand that my room had been prepaid and all he needed to do was check me in and swipe my card for incidentals. Instead he card my card for $430 dollars making the funds left on my card unavailable. When I tried to explain this to the manager she assured me that my card had not been charged and removed my card from the system and said that should take care of the problem. After verifying with American Express there was actually a charge and not a hold placed on my card. I had to start a dispute to get this mess undone, very disappointing after I told him several times that my room was prepaid and the manager stated that Hotels.com failed to notify them and that’s why I was charged. I have prepaid for rooms in the pass without issue. Disappointed!!

Functional new hotel
This is a nice, new hotel. King beds and full kitchen suites.
Breakfast but no restaurant service - as is the Residence Inn program.
Conveniently located near downtown and 20 minutes from the airport.
Surprisingly for a new hotel, the bedside nightstand plugs have no USB ports, so take your usb/ plug with you!

The directions take you on a diet road "back way" for some unknown reason. The hotel is worth the visit. Try to find it on a map FIRST. It's not visible from the road!

The property is plenty nice and convenient. We loved our suite but when we walked in the kitchen floor felt sticky. My shoes made a sound as i walked so i took a paper towel to wipe the floor and was shocked to see that the entire kitchen floor was brown dirty!!! It made me wonder if it ever gets wet cleaned. I mean it was filthy dirty! It surprised me because the facility itself appears quite clean. But it made me question cleaning practices. Housekeeping is obviously overlooking some things. Otherwise we were very happy with our stay.
