I enjoyed the view from the balcony of the ducks and birds of different variety. There property is huge and I liked having access to a restaurant or coffee stand.

Check in was a nightmare one clerk for twenty people from a diverted flight at 1am. They would not accept my Expedia booking so I had to pay twice for my room.
Also no security. A man from the street walked in and stole a potted plant from the lobby. The late night shift needs some upgrades.

The parking is a joke. They charge $33 per day and it’s not even valet. They use machines to get people in and out of the uncovered parking lot. The machines weren’t even working and would take 15 minutes to open the gate. Forget the “help” button because no one even answers, especially at night. I called the front desk from my phone and the phone just rang and rang. Someone came to “clean” my room and there wasn’t much cleaning going on. There was short black hair in the shower on the wall and I have long blonde hair. The staff never even cleaned it which leads me to believe they just don’t clean the showers. I was disgusted. I will never return.

After 14 hours travel we arrived to be put in a room that was as far as possible from the front desk. Did not receive an offer of help with the bags and did not receive our warm cookie. There was a water leak that had soaked the floor by the elevator, our room had slopped coffee down the wall by the door. And the bed cover had holes in it. This is the second time we have stayed at this hotel. We do not know the Seattle area and booked via Expedia. I suspect that was the reason for our rooms location and perhaps the quality of the room given. We will not select this hotel again if travelling via Seattle.

I have stayed at this hotel 4 times. This past stay the room I had was extremely old, the bathroom was dirty the toilet barely flushed. My bed sheets were not tucked in just hanging down. Then had dinner at the bar and the bartender (a guy) was just dismissive totally unfriendly and overlooked me several times to deal with younger clientele just a really bad experience this stay

Everything was good except the hallways were ice cold and my room was incredibly cold. I had to stand on the bath mat to brush my teeth because the tile floor was unbearably cold. The light that is situated above the shower would randomly decide when it was going to turn off or on by itself while I showered. Hm, with this and the chilly temperature of the room and bathroom, I’m starting to wonder if maybe it was haunted? Either way, I had a quiet relatively relaxing experience. Hotel staff was friendly, check in was fast, and I was offered fresh cookies upon arrival. All in all, a nice hotel and I would stay here again.

This was a very large property. The accommodations we had a very nice view of the Lake off our patio. The room was very spacious and clean as could be with no complaints. The Bed/Bedding was very comfortable and the shower water presure was powerful, very hot water. I only have 2 complaint or issues that could be easily fixed by the time i revisit again this summer.
1. Paint the lines in the entire parking lot area's, because the old lines have been long erased and it will make it easier too park the cars uniformity.
2. Add more lighting in the parking lot, especially in the rear of the property. Its very very dark at night, for safety reasons also. I once livind in Seattle/Tacoma Washington from 1994-2008, so ive been knowing about this hotel for years. Thank you US Veteran Red Oak, Texas

I had reserved a king bed with city view, only to find out there was none left when I got there, and the room I got did not have a view at all. Room was really outdated, beds sheets had holes in them. Towels were rough, not enough light and the room had a weird smell, good thing I was juts in there 5 hours to catch some sleep, would not be staying here again. Always have had bad experience with Hilton hotels.

Rooms sadly need updating. Bathroom ceiling was in bad shape . I almost fell in the shower, no mat or safety strips in tub!! Beware if you are staying there with your car you will be charged for parking!!!!!

Amazing hitel
I thought this hotel was one of the most beautiful ones I’ve stayed in . The staff was friendly and the room was very comfortable and clean . The holiday decorations were amazing.

Won't stay here again.
You will definitely hear loud air traffic as it's immediately adjacent to the airport, early morning, late night and everything in between. Room was marginally clean. Child height fingerprints and tongue prints on the mirror on the door. Long hairs on top of the dresser, cobwebs in air vent above sink. First experience at reception was good, second the person was pretty unfriendly.

The hotel is an older property: the heat was insufficient and noisy; bathroom tiles were very cold; this morning (12/29/23) there was no hot water for a shower. The boiler was fixed and after 1 hour there was warm water but not hot. We needed to leave on the airport shuttle at 7:00 am! The room needs upgrades. Some furniture items look neglected and shabby.

I had to clean the remote when we entered our room. Overall the room looked clean, but the remote had a layer of filth in it which made me uncomfortable. I cleaned it off myself with a washcloth to the best of my ability. Also, I was not able to take a shower the morning of December 24, 2023. The water was barely warm enough to wash my hands.

Not much space on shuttle service so plan ahead if you are headed to the airport to catch a flight.
Front desk staff did not pass along an important note to another guest when they checked into the hotel. Staff didn't seem to care much.

The room they gave me was different from the one they gave me. I booked a room with a mountain view and a king bed, but they only gave me a regular room. I also told him that I booked a room with a mountain view. , they said no, they checked it specially today, and they were angry

In the morning desk staff was no where. I had intended on taking the 7:30 shuttle. I was waiting about 10 after...No shuttle no staff. At 7:34 I finally got checked out. When I asked about the shuttle I was told I'd have to wait 26 minutes for the next one since I missed the prior. I didn't miss the prior. I was there. But I couldn't get desk help. And I saw no shuttle. The desk person was having a foul day and was rude. She acted as if I was a nuisance. Yey I had waited over 20 minutes just to check out. There are so many other options to stay.

Nice that it is very close to Seatac and offers shuttle service. Room was a little more worn than I expected. Temperature in the room was maybe 60 degrees when we entered. Feels very cold Heater is quite noisy, as usual for the wall heaters in hotel rooms. Hoping it heats the room quickly.

Parking lot or Hotel? What are you??
The Double Tree is nice and close to the airport. But the parking situation is horrible. They charge an additional $33+ to park your car overnight, when you are paying a premium for a room. Then the odds of finding a parking place is really slim, and it will be no where near your room. I think they make extra money off their parking for long term airport parking. Please make a decision on what business you are in. There are lots of parking lots for long/short term parking. Next time I will probably have to park off site and take a shuttle to stay at the hotel.

Our room looked like it had never once been dusted behind the nightstand (you could see it because nightstand could not touch the wall due to the electrical plug-ins) -it was a huge coat of dust everywhere my room with kids was so incredibly far away from the main building. I asked to be moved closer and they said they couldn’t accommodate. Had I had known that when I’m traveling w/tired kids at midnight who only get to sleep a few hours before we could get on a new flight - I never would have booked this hotel. The staff was kind though.

Checked into our room and went to sleep. Around 12am we awoke to our hotel door being tampered with. A few minutes later someone opened the door and it scarred the heck my wife and I. The person that opened our door said, “Sorry wrong room”.
Called hotel security to report the incident.
Next morning I asked the front desk to refund my money since my wife and I didn’t sleep. The hotel said they issued the same room to Southwest Airlines and apologized.

It’s a really old property and it needs an entire gut job. It’s musty and my bathroom had a light fixture in the ceiling that was leaking large amounts of water from who knows where. Super gross

We stayed in November and the prosperity was beautiful. The leaves surrounding were changing colors. The front staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The room was clean and the amenities were amazing! Make sure you ask for a cookie- they are the best I’ve had!

My first impression was from a staff member checking me in. Very friendly and helpful. My room was cozy and very comfortable with a nice view of a large pond with wildlife. I have stayed here before and will continue to come back…the warm cookie at check in is also a nice touch

A check-in horror story
We arrived at SeaTac just before midnight after a very long day of travel. Prior to our arrival, DoubleTree had sent a text asking if there were any questions. They then helped us with the airport shuttle and said they would advise the staff of our late check-in. Very helpful. When we got to the hotel there were more than 50 people waiting to check in. There was one gold member check-in person and one clerk for the rest of us. Another clerk showed up at midnight but a on-duty clerk then left. So … we waited in that line until after 2:30 a.m. At one point, the gold member clerk left, leaving one clerk to handle everyone. It was horrible. Tempers were short and I felt bad for the woman who had been left to deal with that. She was abandoned by her co-workers, her managers and the corporation. What a truly miserable experience for all.

Although I have no complaints about the hotel itself I have a huge complaint about the parking. It was a nightmare. Not only did I have problems getting in and out I had to park quite a bit away from my room. In fact I was lucky to even find a spot to park.

I ended up having to stay an extra night in Seattle so I had to get a different hotel. I chose the Hilton Double Tree because I thought it would be higher class. The room was gross and I walked out at night and found homeless people living in the hotel sleeping on the couches and eating food people sat outside their doors in a protected area of the hotel that you should have needed key cards to get into.
I was super dissapointed and felt unsafe all night after seeing all the homeless people making themselves at home inside my 230 a night hotel.. ugh
