We stayed in room 1507 in the beginning and it smelled like mold. We got sick and moved from that room to another room 1513. I think I would look at that room and see if there is a mold problem. Staff at the restaurant not friendly at all.

There is no resort amenities at the hotel so I am not sure why there is a resort fee. Hotel staff gave away our room even though they were notified by both Expedia and ourselves that our flight was delayed! Did not compensate us for down grade and tried to charge us for the night we were not there due to flight delay that they were informed of as soon as it occurred! Old property in need of renovations! They wanted to charge us for our room that they gave away the night before…unprofessional and totally unexceptional treatment of guests! Don’t book through Expedia they have no way to help with disputes. Staff rolled their eyes and said not our problem you booked third party…lesson learned!

The staff and service is amazing! The bell desk/valet workers treated us like family especially Scott. But all of the ones we came in contact with was exceptional. My mom had ankle surgery so was walking with a cane, they made sure to make it convenient and always had our car ready! The only downfall is they only offer valet parking and parking is $53/day. But other than that, I was impressed. Will be a returning customer for sure!!

The only thing that wasn't very good, was that there wasn't any bottle water for the guest. They had a kurig coffee maker and a fridge but no drinking water. At least provide 2 bottles of water for the fist night stay. Sometimes we arrive late and we're not able to go and buy some water.

The rooms and hotel were clean. I did not like that the room was not ready by 4 pm check in time and I had to go down stairs to pick up extra towels and bedding for sofa bed when it was known that we had 3 occupants staying in the room. Besides that, it’s was a good stay and I would recommend the hotel.

The amount of dust in all the furniture in my room was disgusting. You could see it piling up on the lights and the remote. The pictures of this property were highly deceiving as it did not look like that in person.

This hotel had poor service from the start. The bellman stood and watched us carry our own (6) bags up a flight of steps then directed us up an escalator to check in. The hotel proceeded to put us in a room with no ocean view and a double bed which was not what we booked. We confirmed a king/ocean view. We were downgraded at the same rate basically.

Rooms are clean but a little outdated. Despite the fact our door lock was not working when we first got the room. They sent the maintenance person to fix it right away. Valet parking team did amazing job. They all super friendly and tell us recommendations around the area. Love love love their cookie. Something for us to munch on everytime we head out for the day trip. The balcony gave us a nice city view of Honolulu without the noise at night. Overall I will go back.

Location says ocean view and the view you get is buildings and at a distance you can see the ocean. Parking is bad, it’s valet parking but once filled you have to park your own car like 3 blocks away from the hotel. Room was dirty looking. I’m not going to rent a room from that hotel again.

I like all my experiences with Doubletree. This hotel was competitively priced. They have comfortable beds, clean rooms and are close to all the fun around Waikiki. There's a couple nice restaurants on premise.
But.. theres no views of the beach. The hotel is under construction so no pool. Its a bit noisy. But otherwise i would stay here again. Ill come back when the construction is over.

So disappointed to find that the pool was closed, definitely was not expecting that! I know updates and things are necessary but it was definitely not reflected in the price! And while the cookies are free, they wouldn’t give us bottles of water despite the heat and other amenities being closed. Pedro and Kai in the valet area and Preston at check-in were amazing and so friendly!

Booked this hotel for my wifes 50th. It had it's own pool, room with a bath and balcony. We arrived early and unfortunately unable to get into our room until 3pm were offered to upgrade for $100 a night but declined and pool was closed with no prior warning so was offered another pool 20 mins away at another hotel. When we arrived back later in the afternoon we were given our key and went to our room which didn't have a bath although on hotels.com website it shows it does. After speaking with the manager he offered an upgrade to a room with a bath all basic rooms had a shower. This rooms air conditioner did not turn off so room was freezing and a couple of days in the hotel left a message on our room phone saying they were working outside the building so all balconies had to be locked. So no fresh air, no sitting outside or drying swimmers which was very disappointing. Asked if we could transfer to another hotel in the chain but staff member said we had to sort it all out ourselves so stayed. Before we left spoke to manager about the above issues and she apologised and took the resort fee off. Overall no communication or pre warning to clients or between hilton chain and hotels.com.

Was advertised as a resort hotel, not even close. The pool was closed as they are renovating the hotel, nothing in our reservations said this. For a pool you had to walk a few blocks to their sister hotel. Rooms were small, the shower was weak, water luke warm and you have to step up to get in. The bed was too hard and the pillows were quite small.

I stayed here with my family of 5. We were on the 15th floor and our sliding doors were non operable. Our five night stay quickly turned into a muggy, and wet clothes smelly room. The restroom also did not have a vent so, when we took showers the room got even more gross. The very small pool was also very dirty. My small children noticed the murky water, strong chlorine smell and didn’t enjoy being in it. Besides this the staff were nice, the location is great. I would not stay here with my family again though.

It was very expensive for a yucky hotel. Our room looked at nothing. It was dirty, the chair was ripped apart. For the price, I was very disappointed. $50.00 to park which was not disclosed before going.

The location is great and tons of restaurants, bars and shopping are within walking distance. The hotel is older than the picture looks. The pool is small and in the shade so it was too cold to swim.There was construction going on so it was loud. The walls are thin so you can hear your neighbors. Also, the bathrooms have a window into the bedroom that has a thick screen as well as the bathroom door, but it lights up the whole room when someone is in the restroom. I'm expecting so I get up a few times a night and the room was so bright every time it woke my husband up.

We upgraded to a Penthouse suite and had a wonderful view of the ocean, even though it was a ways away. The room was a bit noisy, probably the AC units on the roof, but with ear plugs we slept well.

Hotel is not in ideal but relatively in a great location walking distance to the beach, shopping, dining options. You probably want to stay little more east of the property closer to waikiki beach where all the action is. We stayed in the suite. Nice to have refrigerator and microwave. The rooms were not that good though. the carpet and sofa were old and rooms were dingy. Carpet was sticky and dirty. Always felt like carpet was wet even though the weather outside was all dry. But staff was good and service was good. Rooms could have been better.

This property took us with just a half day notice after our originally booked property could not honour our reservation. We were very happy with this property. Staff were very nice and parking was included - always a great bonus in Honolulu. Only issue was the balcony was pretty dirty. Other than that, very happy with our stay and would recommend to others

I like the hotels location. Easy to get to and having a restaurant downstairs is a bonus.
Down side was that the rooms were musty, I think from the air conditioning. Made the beds feel wet and just tough to breathe until we aired it out.

I did not like how Orbitz advertised that it had laundry & fridge. The fridge is small! Also, the suite had a smaller bathroom & smaller beds. I like that the suite had added a microwave, couch, and extra space. Be aware, they will charge you a resort fee after booking the room. No laundry, there's a laundromat near by. Otherwise, nice place.

Clean, friendly and happy that there was a bar and grill next door that did take out as we missed dinner at the hotel.
A bit pricey for kamaaina but no choice since it was a medical emergency and available especially over the 4th long weekend.

I really like the staff at this hotel. They were friendly and helpful. The hotel is old and the amenities shows it. There is a clock that has an old iPhone connector last seen in iPhone 4s. There is an PlayStation 3 in every room. The sliding door to the balcony is also old and barely fits so it is very hard to open and close tightly. Finally I had to change rooms during my stay because there was no hot water in my room. The parking is $40 dollars and there is a resort fee of $30. The added fees make this hotel totally not worth it. Will not return. The family before me were shocked by their bill when I was check-in out. You need to figure $70 more per night when staying in this hotel. Hope this is helpful.

The employees were very nice. The room was just ok the pull out bed was disgusting with stains all over it. The bathroom was rough and very small for a suite you could not even put stuff on the sink. The floor left your feet black. There is no places to park the parking garage is so small we had to park on the side and several evenings park in the employee parking and park garage so small you could barley even turn around… no going around it was go in get the end and your stuck If there is no spots. Was a total nightmare on parking and then along with hotel fees you have to pay $40 a day to park in the nightmare lot.

Property charged a resourt fee but had almost nothing to offer. Dinning option was terrible. Looked like a snake shop. Only offered wifi pretty much. When I arrived they told me Parking would be included, and it wasn't. On top of the daily $30 "resourt fee" they added a $40 parking fee per day! This place is like a Motel 6. I don't recomend anyone staying here.

Nice hotel away from main Waikiki strip
Pretty good location; off the main strip so it’s much less crowded. Restaurants and beaches all in walkable distance. Nice little walk from and to hotel. Dated hotel but the superb customer service made up for it. Hotel uses a text message system so it was very easy to list the items needed and they’re quick to respond and deliver the items. Hotel pool doesn’t have lighting tho so it gets pretty dark after sunset. Towels are always out at the pool but a quick text to them, they’re pretty quick to restock.

The property was nice, clean and within walking distance from the beach. I didn’t like it that the bell service wasn’t available upon arrival to take our bags. We had to continually ask for bell service and then finally they appeared after 20 minutes after we arrived. We had an early check out and the bell service station was closed as well. We paid for full service however we received partial service at best. Loved the cookies.

I think like all of Oahu, this property is a tad bit dated. The room was clean. I feel they're using Covid as an excuse to not valet your car, but yet you still pay the same price. They should cut down the price of self parking. $40 to park your car in those tiny lots is a bit steep. Also, not cleaning the room daily unless requested. The area around is nice, and you have a few dining and souvenir options. Waikiki Beach is a ten minute walk. The street below is noisy, and the exterior doors aren't very soundproof. Also, a neighbor was smoking weed at night, and we could smell it in the room.

Felt like I was staying in a 2 star hotel
The room was disappointing, given the price. Many of the cleaning staff had been laid off, so it took a full 24 hours for us to get clean towels and shampoos, etc. after it has been requested.
The shower was weird… the ceiling was peeling/bubbling, and the water was dripping from the shower head and leaking onto the floor of the bathroom. We had to use the towels that were already in the room to make sure we didn’t slip on the floor, necessitating the need for new towels as soon as we arrived.
We found dirty socks under one bed, and there weren’t ours. I’m quite sure this room wasn’t cleaned the way they were touting… Lysol clean? Nope. Definitely not. Gross…
Needless to say… We were glad to leave the room.
