Rooms were clean and spacious! The fire alarm going off in the night from a faulty sprinkler head was a bit inconvenient, but that was my only gripe.

The room and location is perfect but the service is disastrous. No free drinkable water and the elevator is broken after a fire alarm so everyone needed to walk to their room. We lived in the 14th floor, by the way.

Great stay. Safe and stylish. Not a lot of affordable Room Service options, but able to get delivery. Very walkable to Harvard. Lovely setting, felt very fancy to my daughter. Pool and Hot tub were okay, but a little green and muggy.
Hefty incidental charge! Be prepared with extra $$$. Costly parking.

We have stayed at the Doubletree before. We were there for a show and stayed the night. The show package included dinner. The dinner was not as good as it has been. The food was very salty. For the show and dinner package, I would have like better selections. Our room was nice. The view was worth the price.

Stayed over on business and this place checked all the boxes: clean, good service, friendly staff, spacious room, up-to-date room furnishings, good food options. And the price was right. I would recommend the Doubletree to anyone staying in the Cambridge Boston area.

Comfortable and clean, but inconvenient location
The hotel was very clean and comfortable. Every staff member was very nice. Our only two complaints were the location was not that convenient and shuttles did not run often or meet in convenient locations. We had to rely on rideshares. Also, you could hear the guests in the adjoining room and it interrupted our sleep. They weren’t being obnoxiously loud, but the walls/adjoining door did not block the sound. It was overall a nice stay for 2 nights.

When we got our room keys and headed upstairs to our room there was dirty dishes right outside our room. I told front desk and she said she’d take care of it. We left to go out for a few hours. When we returned they were still there. Woke up to get breakfast that next morning they were still there. I went back down to tell her again and she said she would have it taken care of. Came back up from breakfast and they were still there. They didn’t get picked up until we checked out. On a positive note the cookies were good!

I will never stay anywhere else while in Boston but the Double tree inn suites! The room was clean, spacious and accommodating. Stayed here with my family and loved that there was enough room for us 4 with an amazing view of the Charles River. Their amenities are plenty from their gym, pool and even washer dryers. What stole the cake is the staff here. I didn’t catch his name but he was one of the front desk men, he said he is from Albania and he was the most kindest person we’ve ever came across in Boston! He was extremely helpful, professional and extremely nice! We will definitely be coming back!

I don’t usually have any expectations but this hotel was amazing! Staffs were so friendly and letting me borrow their umbrella! Shuttle service was awesome! We were visiting Harvard University and shuttle service was there every 30 minutes
Area is very clean and so do hotel lobby, room and hall

After a long day if sightseeing in Boston, we decided to eat at the hotel have a few drinks abd relax. Of course its my own fault for not checking the menu, but what a shock to find out there were only 3 Gluten-free items on the menu. One of them being a salad.A bowl of soup and flour less chocolate cake with raspberry sauce and berries. I was rather shocked, our server said , when asked " Yes we have 3 Gluten-free items on the menu. As if that was amazing abd i should be grateful. I got the salad, a huge plate if kake added shrimp ( 4) an extra $12. And the chocolate cake. The salad was ok. When the chocolate cake came, No raspberry sauce or berries. I sent it back as i only like it with the sauce. They didn't have any. So disappointing. And unbelievable in this day and age that you can't provide an actual Gluten-free dinner in your hotel. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone who has celiac.

The property and staff were great. But we were accused of smoking in our room which we did not they tried to charge me $500 for it. We left very disturbed and will never book another Hilton.

Overall a great stay! I wish some of the restaurants/bars would have been open for lunch since nothing is within walking distance and it would be nice to be able to get something to eat during the day, not just lobby food.
There was no book/pamphlet/info in the room about what floor everything was located on or nearby attractions.
The room service scan/app didn’t work on the website and with the very limited lunch options (3), only 2 were showing up.
I had to call, I don’t think the person was understanding what I was saying about the website not working, I repeated my order 3 times and then she called back again to clarify (I was only ordering 1 item).
Room was clean, nice amenities.
The parking policy wasn’t very clear; when I checked in I was told it would go on my card as an incidental. I validated the ticket, but the upon leaving the garage it asked me to pay, so I paid for the parking twice and had to call to get a refund.
The staff was pleasant & helpful. We especially liked our shuttle driver (can’t remember his name).

Great place to stay. Rooftop terrace veiw was amazing. Only complaint was the pool area. Chemicals were too strong and made our eyes sting so we weren't able to enjoy it like we wanted.

We were looking for a hotel with good value for money close to Boston. The property nearly fits the bill: you can walk to Cambridge or Allerton in about 20 minutes, and there is a shuttle that runs downtown a few times a day. There is also a city bus that stops just next to the hotel.
The room was also quite spacious and well equipped, and comfortably slept our family of four.
However, we did get the feeling that the property was looking for every opportunity to use the hotel's relative isolation to hit you with extra charges. For example, despite being far from downtown, we paid nearly $150 for parking in a thoroughly empty garage. And the hotel restaurant was asking $19 *per glass* for unremarkable wine. Even on vacation, I preferred to spend 30 minutes walking to Whole Foods and back. And a lackluster warm breakfast buffet was $30 per person! (Protip: you can walk across the bridge to Dunkin Donuts).
These kinds of extortionary rates leaves a bitter taste from an otherwise pleasant stay.

I had an unpleasant experience. When we arrived at our room there was hair all over the bed. Because of this inconvenience, the front desk attendant said they would comp us for parking. After receiving my billing statement, I noticed an extra $50 charge. The hotel charged me for a breakfast that I did not eat..I am very frustrated and this issue has not been resolved.

Open concept is terrible. Group drinking and being noisy in the cafe area up to 1am. Three chimes on the elevator going off was terrible. I didn't get to stay asleep until 2am.

A great family hotel.
It was a comfortable stay. The room was clean and well appointed. The common areas were clean and relaxing. The shuttle bus was great and the staff were super helpful. One drawback- the in-house food options were limited and expensive, even for Boston.

Gotta do a-lot better Hilton
A lot of very weird stuff went down at this hotel .. too exhausting to get into great detail .. but it started after dinner..( where we basically took food to go) mind you I left a 25% tip regardless..
....
I was getting in the elevator after I paid and the waiter came running at me down hall like he was on fire asking me for receipts he ended up having in his hand .. it delayed me 15 minutes and I had to walk back to restaurant and it was embarrassing as everyone was looking .. after waiting for them to fix whatever malfunction they were having I realized I was overcharged so I said something since things already went south and I was waiting still ... they said they would fix it but it never was fixed on card ...
... then when I had to take a emergency phone call I came back to my room 3 minutes later and these weirdos were waiting at my door asking if this door was my room and it was getting slammed open and shut .. I had no idea what they were talking about must of been another room as we were gone for hours .. but my family was scared as people were in front of door acting strange ..
I'm military with 3 tours and that started getting my ptsd going .. It was very unsettling ..
Lastly when we walked up to roof to take pictures as we were told we could do by many staff the person upstairs was very rude and said I had to leave .. terrible performance by many people here .
Your staff at front desk were all great and accommodating but everyone else No!!

When checking in front desk gave run around for hours on why our room wasnt ready and informed me that a handicap room i reserved was no longer available. They also didnt refund $100 room deposit and claim $53 was refunded and the other $47 was parking even though they made us pay another $47 when we checked out. Will never stay there again

Loved the roof deck and general vibe of the hotel, plus being able to walk right out the door to go for a run along the Charles. Only complaint would be that the HVAC system was set up in such a way that we had three different, relatively loud fans running in our suite at all times, including a bathroom one that could not be turned off.

I wanted to leave the hotel urgently in the evening of the day I arrived and I had paid in advance for 4 nights via Expedia. The receptionist said there was no refund. this was very sad for me.
so i am not satisfied in any way i only stayed one night and left.
I was not helped in any way.

Very accommodating staff! I liked how they held our bags so we could explore the city more before leaving. We had booked tickets to a jazz show in the hotel but it was sadly canceled. Also, the roof top bar wasn’t open and it was an 80 degree day…so just keep in mind it’s only open for dinner until Memorial Day weekend. We went May 13-14 so it wasn’t available yet. Otherwise, beautiful rooms and an amazing view! Uber is a must to get around, nothing really in walking distance.

They overcharged me by 2 days. I checked out on the 19th and they charged me for two extra days, and charged me for the restaurant, even though I wasn't even there. When I called to fix it, they said their policy is to do NO refunds if you book through a third party. So they cheated me out of more than two days worth of charges including breakfast both days and do not want to refund it, even though I checked out directly with them. They should have told me at that time that I needed to go through the third party to check out.
