Clean and great for families
I rarely leave reviews, but I was so impressed with this Hampton. The staff was nice and accommodating, the room was clean, and the breakfast was amazing. It was a quick trip for my family, so having real eggs and sausage waiting for us in the breakfast area saved lots of time. The room was clean enough for me to allow my one year old to walk on the floor. The last hotel
I stayed at was cringy so I literally held her the whole time for fear that she would eat something off the floor. I will def stay here again.

Great stay, friendly staff
We stayed one night for a wedding we attended nearby. From check in to check out we had a great experience. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Rooms were very clean and comfortable.

Pay $185/night for a room with view of the highway, even the bed is facing the window so you can watch the show. Very very loud at night.

Room was not available. We needed showers from sports activities all day. 6:30 pm and the room was finally available. Bleach smell created a headache. Our friends room had the same strong bleach odor in bathroom and sheets. Unacceptable

We've stayed here a few times. There seems to be something that doesn't work eachtime. The last time was a closed pool. This time, the elevator went down
overnight. It was repaired by morning but I noticed the staff didn't put signs up when it was down and when I asked, did not tell me when it might be working again. Not a huge deal unless an emergency occured but it was the unfriendliness of the night staff and lack of helpfulness I noticed. Then when we were checking out, it was a very busy time and the morning desk person was extremely slow. Just inefficient.
On the positive side, we've always found the breakfast to be good and the staff in the food area are super friendly and helpful. The staff who greeted us in the afternoon when we checked in were efficient.

when i checked in there was about 200 people there inside the lobby, just couldnt pass to the room without a hassle, there was no parking, lot was overflowing with cars. Not a pleasant experience

We just moved from Colorado and the staff at Hampton provided us a wonderful stay while we waiting on housing.
The pool was clean; comfortable and just what we needed to relax.

This Hampton Inn needs a bit of buffing up.
1. More luggage carts needed.
2. More trashcans needed - only 1 small can in bath with no additional bags (this doesn't recognize that meals are eaten in the room after take-out).
3. Beds had sheets that were suited for the tropics (extra thin). This was fine as we were in Florida. However, we needed a bit more coverage in the air conditioning. The only other option was a comforter that was more suited to the arctic in its construction (very heavy, far too much for the locale). Providing light blankets for each bed would be appreciated.
4. Extra shout-out to your breakfast staff. Given the nature of free hotel breakfasts, they do an excellent job in making them as appetizing as possible. Plus, the area is always tidy and inviting.
They also encountered a very agitated guest who was ranting about not being respected (not related to the Hampton in any way). They were patient and listened to him until he was satisfied. Excellent treatment of the situation that prevented either possible escalation or dissatisfaction of the guest.
5. As for the breakfast area TV, please take Fox (so-called) news off the public TV. Find something less inflammatory for a general crowd (even if it is Florida)

Car charger inoperable
My reason for choosing that hotel was because they listed that they had a Tesla charger. Apparently, it has been not working for some time. They also had a non tesla charger, which was also inoperable.

Having a room next to the freeway was the major problem. Incredibly noisy between the entrance ramp and the freeway itself we barely slept. Secondly, management automatically charges an extra $100 to your card for potential damages. Two major issues with this. One, your refund takes days to be returned and two, they do not tell you about this practice until you check in.

The walk-in shower was modern but we didn’t care for it having no door. Water splashes everywhere and it can be a safety issue.
The heating/ cooling system was difficult to get off the set point to get it comfortable for us.
It’s noisy especially facing route 4, but the staff was understanding in moving us to the parking lot side.

Learn from Drury Inn
The room was clean, comfortable, and in a convenient location. The bed and the pillows were extremely comfortable.. As far as rest and relaxation. it was a great place to stay. Breakfast was the only disappointment. There was a protein- bacon/sausage, scrambled eggs, cold cereal, oatmeal, waffle, bagel, toast, fruit, coffee, & juice. The exact same breakfast as everywhere else. If they offered a fresh pot of grits, even that simple change would help. I've reached the point where I skip breakfast at hotels because it's always exactly the same. The Drury Inn REALLY knows how to treat its guests, and Hampton could learn a trick or two from them.Their breakfast AND dinner are fantastic!

As an airline pilot who stays in countless cities, this was one of the best hotels I've ever been in. The staff was exceptional and extremely nice and attentive. When I left a shirt in my room they called to tell me and promptly shipped it back to me. Their efforts went far above and beyond what would normally be expected. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

The property was what i expect in a hotel.
The un-unnecessarily complex way to connect to the WIFI.
The fact that I walked and over heard the person before me getting a room for less that a fourth of the price of the the room that I had.
I guess I need to look around more the next time I book

We were in Plant City for a baseball tournament. We were unsure when my son would get done for the day. Yessica at the front desk was very helpful. She worked hard to find us an early check in. Took a lot of stress off our shoulders. She was very nice & every time we came in & out she greeted us with a hello & a smile. Very professional. We thank you.

I stayed two nights for my wedding in Plant City, Fla. I had a room on the fourth floor. I couldn’t get any sleep from the traffic on I-4. I didn’t have enough of towels and wash cloth for two days I stayed. The only meat they serve for breakfast was sausages.

There was an issue with our reservation at the property level. The staff rectified the situation with a little problem solving to get us checked in. Through the entire process Tiffany was friendly and was quick to get us checked in. The breakfast staff was friendly and helpful. Thankfully they served a variety of foods to dine in versus grab and go. Hotel was clean and in good shape. Definitely would stay here again

Illegal Entry
We had checked into our room and I was laying down resting, my sister was sitting at desk. Someone used a key and walked in. Upon seeing there was someone in room, they closed door. My sister confronted the person as he was leaving. He just repeated sorry sorry. I reported the incident to front desk immediately on phone. They said they would investigate. They called back and said it was a maintenance worker. They told me they would refund me 25% of m bill. Person did not knock on door or announce himself in any manner before using key to enter. My sister and I are 74 and 78 years old and this made us very apprehensive for the rest of our stay. I ask for receipt when we were. Checking out, and they told me they couldn’t give me receipt. They said I should get my receipt and refund from Hotels.com. That you would send me email. They also made me pay a deposit of $50.00 when I checked in for damages. I asked for receipt for the fifty dollars. They gave me a receipt stating I owed nothing. It does not say they were refunding my $50.00. And we did no damage.

Staff is very nice. Room smelled like a unkept nursing home. The hotel was sold out didn't ask to switch rooms frebreeze and lysol cleared some of the odor. But not up to Hilton/ Hampton standards.

Front desk staff excellent! I booked my room through another site than Hilton so it didn’t record my points. The morning desk clerk added them for me and came out into the parking lot to be sure I had a copy showing the added points!
