Messy beds at first not the worst of it!
We booked here because the website said they had a pool. Unfortunately it was out of service, I do wish this had been started on the website. I would not have booked here. My adult special needs son was very disappointed. I just won’t trust Hampton Inn anymore.

I couldn't get the thermostat to go over 70 degrees. The guy at the desk was nice enough to come up to my room and fix it for me. The only minor problem I had was that the water temperature in the shower was a little slow to react to adjustments. Otherwise, the hotel is excellent. I will be staying there again.

Always a good place to stay in Decatur
We stay at this Hampton whenever we come to Decatur and it is always good. The service, the beds, the rooms and the breakfast are all good. We like the location too.

The mattress!!!
For what we had to pay to stay for 2 nights the mattress needs to be top quality/top of the line.
No one wants to get into bed and try and sleep for the night and have your back feel worse in the morning.
Had there been sufficient floor space we would have moved the bed covers to the floor.
Every thing else was up to par with our decades long history of staying at Hampton Inn.

Didn't like the fact that our room wasn't cleaned daily. We were told that daily room maintenance was implemented Sept. 1, but I had to ask, then didn't get it. Was told that 3 people called out and they didn't have enough staff. Well, hire more people or dependable people. I cleaned it myself. Was tempted to throw the dirty towels and trash outside the door!

Very nice location. Inside some of the wallpaper in the hallway on 3rd floor was coming off the walls. Shower curtain instead of door which didnt well. Breakfast good.

We really enjoyed our stay at this Hampton Inn. The decor gives a happy and positive vibe. It’s very clean and modern with attention to detail creating a very comfortable atmosphere. The staff was very friendly and the free breakfast was amazing. We ate at a Mexican restaurant across the street which we highly recommend as one of the many choices close to the hotel. This hotel definitely definitely deserves five stars!

Hotel is very clean. Rooms and dining areas were clean. I was surprised that when I checked in that I was not asked for ID. I was also not greeted as a Diamond Member and had to ask for water and was not offered the extra food item.

I have stayed here multiple times. Staff is always nice and the hotel is clean. They have a good breakfast. The hotel is convenient for me when I come to visit my grandson. The pool is definitely a plus all year long.

I usually stay at a competing hotel if I don't stay with my family in My Zion, but the competing hotel was all booked this trip and I'm actually glad it was as we've now found our new home away from home. The staff here was super friendly at check in and check out. Breakfast was great in the morning. The rooms were clean, modern, and comfortable and since they were equipped with a fridge and a microwave we didn't get stuck keeping all our stuff in a cooler. While we didn't get an opportunity to utilize the pool or fitness center (we were supposed to stay with family until some sickness in their home changed our plans 50 miles from home--no swim suits), they both looked very nice.
My only gripe and this is a unique gripe that most probably don't have to deal with is that the bathroom doors are sliding barn doors and don't lock. I have a toddler with no concept of privacy who constantly wanted to join me in the bathroom and I like my privacy. LOL
Other than that, this hotel is a top notch hotel for the average Joe like me. We will definitely be back.

Overall a great stay
Overall we were satisfied, it was clean, welcoming and the breakfast was good.
Our only 2 major complaints were the deadbolt would not latch as it didn't match up with the plate. So we just had the safety plate as a form of lock on the inside. Our other issue is the light blocking curtains did not allow you to pull them closed to cover the window. The track stopped on each side before the window. So all we had were the sheer curtains to close. Our room faced the street business side, so it let in more light then we preferred at night. Also getting ready in the morning didn't feel like we had full privacy.

This was a good spot for college drop off. The room was clean and comfortable, the breakfast was solid and the staff were friendly. We had booked two nights through different platforms due to some last minute changes and there was some confusion over that when we arrived, but the morning manager took care of all of it.

Sam and Michael at the front desk were exceptional. Warm, efficient friendly and feels like family. As always our state was wonderful. Our room was exceptionally clean and quiet and the mattress was very comfortable. My autistic child is treated with the upmost respect and kindness from patrons and staff like. The room was updated, clean and very nice. The bed was comfortable. The staff super friendly and helpful. The workout room was spacious, clean, and had new equipment. The breakfast was good. The shower was also great with bottles of shampoo, conditioner and bath gel attached to the wall. This was a great stop for us.
