Overnight trip
Was very nice for what we needed had some issues at check in and about but staff did take care of it and we're very nice. Would have liked to know before booking that there isn't really anywhere to park cars pretty much need to be valed. Breakfast was very nice through rooms were clean and had all essentials needed.

The hotel itself is clean, very friendly staff. However, there is an outdoor music venue on the same block and when there's a show, you legit feel like the show is in your room.

Totally pleased...
This place was a really lovely respite. Stayed to be close to my work for one night during inclement weather. Arrived in the evening after working a full shift and felt welcomed both at the front desk and at the casual bar. Due to the weather, I didn't want to venture out for dinner. Had a really nice burger and fries at the bar. The food was really good and fresh - the burger was amazing with arugula and a brioche bun.
The room was super clean and comfortable. Everything was in working order. Elevator moved quickly. Plenty of hot water and the toiletries were nice. The bedding was super clean and comfy.
I did not use the parking, and I read comments that said it was $40 or so per night. I wouldn't like that but it is consistent with parking rates at other downtown hotels.
This was a great experience and I look forward to coming back.

Lousy plumbing. Disagreeable (and, by my lights, extraordinarily subpar) desk staff. Additionally, overnight valet parking priced at $45 (overnight at meter across street from hotel about $30). Being an “economy” hotel I didn’t expect much. Met expectations. Won’t be back.

Great place to stay in downtown! The carpet in the hall was soaked but I assume they had just cleaned it ! Love the shower and the water pressure and the bed was comfortable!

THE BEST OF THE BEST
Before arrival, I called to confirm some things about the parking fee, Elizabeth was a great help with navagtional instructions, as well as answered my questions. Upon arrival we were greeted with welcoming smiles and laughter in the lobby Paula assisted me with checkin and gave us additional parking info since it was considered a holiday parking was free along side the hotel, she also gave details about the bar and beautiful amenities, when we left Eligh assisted us with departure he was amazing and warm welcoming DEFINITELY A 10/10 will be coming back! Ohhh and 6th st is literally a block n a half away 😩 which made navigation so much easier and smoother

its a decent place. good location. seems new or under resourced. decent staff. elevator down for whole visit. internet in and out. i paid for higher priced room and didn't get it but did get a refund. if you are flexible, probably ok but if you need reliable internet or the accomodations you paid for be prepared.

Every time someone flushed a toilet the pipes sounded like a jet flying over. Not a good place to stay if you want to sleep. Mold in shower. There 3 nights had to get own towels and trash piled up

For the price the room was excellent with a separate lounge and kitchen area, clean bathroom and very comfortable bed, we also had a great view across downtown with the Capitol Building visible. Staff were excellent, friendly and helpful. The breakfast had plenty of variety and was good quality. Location was good, being about a five minute walk from the busy area for bars and a few blocks from the Capitol Building. It was also just down the road from the bus stop connecting Dallas and San Antonio, so great for transport links. I would definitely stay here again.

Did not care for the fact they did not have parking and you were forced to pay $45 valet. They would not give me a receipt for my stay stating that it was a third-party and I had to contact them to get my receipt.

The room is large with a full size kitchen and living room. Breakfast was the east we’ve ever had with fresh berries and cut melon and scrambled eggs that weren’t runny or weird tasting. What made our stay though, was the hospitality of the front desk workers and even the breakfast ladies; always saying good morning, gave a great day, welcome back! The hotel itself is easily walkable to all areas and sites but not smack in the downtown core.

Great hotel to be close to 6th street and the moody center. Staff was extremely friendly. Only down side was one of the elevators was broken and I was on the 8th floor. Everyone had to use one elevator which was hectic.

A good choice, but avoid conference times
Large, attractive reception area, and the guy who checked us in ( Eligh?) was immensely helpful. We arrived very early, at 11am , and our room wasn’t available, so we accepted an accessible room, just so we could get settled. A fair trade off.
The room was spacious, if a little bland. It was quiet, which is of most importance to me.
Breakfast was really good, and the dining area was very attractive.
Under normal circumstances, it would have been reasonable value for money, but sadly there was a conference in town, and we paid a ludicrous $300 a n

Our visit was a very short, came in for a game. The staff extremely friendly, room are very nice and clean. The hotel was in walking distance from the stadium and 6th Street. Definitely will visit this property again.

Highly recommend! The property is very clean, it’s an easy walk to everything downtown and has a great breakfast included. Staff was great - we received an unexpected upgrade when we arrived. Much appreciated!
If you don’t plan on using valet parking, make sure you are parked at a meter before things start getting busy in the evenings. Downtown Austin is VERY busy and parking is limited.

The hotel was in a good location for our needs. It is a very walkable/busable area. There were good dining options close. The staff was great. The breakfast was particularly good and the staff running the breakfast were very efficient and attentive. I liked the design of the king suite. The hotel was walkable to convention center and relatively close to U of T. It got a little loud on some of the nights with outdoor live music venues but that is what Austin is known for. Also felt safe around hotel.

The hotel room was great. Staff was very kind. Breakfast was decent. One of the elevators was broken, so it was 1 elevator for 12 floors. I was not a fan of $45 a day for mandatory valet, but i understood why it was done this way.

Wonderful stay at Hyatt. We were in town for a concert at Stubb's and Hyatt was very convenient to the location. Suite room with king bed, sofa bed, kitchenette and bathroom very clean and spacious. Bed was super comfy and free breakfast in the AM was appreciated!

The room was extremely dusty looked like it hadn’t been properly cleaned in months. The hotel staff also charged me for my stay instead of my companies corporate card after they made me jump through hoops in order get the proper authorization forms only for “the system to be down” when I checked out and for the staff to charge me for the room. When I called to inform them of their mistake they gave me the runaround and no clear explanation on when and how the issue would be rectified. I would not recommend staying at this hotel. Avoid at all cost!

Didn’t check in until late at night after ACL and they gave us a very nice room with a kitchen. Clean and spacious and quiet. Would come back here if I came back for the festival for the whole weekend. The shuttles back after the festival were taking forever so we decided to walk back to the hotel from Zilker Park (although was a bit of a trek!). Is in a quiet block but is close to all the music venues on 6th also. And another block of restaurants and bars we actually liked better. Nice front desk and valet staff.

Convenient location and great staff service. The only issue I had was that the water shower pressure was so intense that it was painful to take a pleasant bath. Also, on one of the days, breakfast closed at 9:30am when the service was until 10am. Other than that, it’s a good hotel within walking distance of main attractions.

Hotel was nice and was just a 4-5 minute walk to the downtown bars on Sixth, once you make your way through two block of homeless begging for money and tripping on God knows what. Pool was not crowded at all. The room was not cleaned at all, nor did I see any cleaning staff in the hallways, I haven't bothered to check their policy on room cleaning. Maybe they just don't offer room cleaning? But for the money we spent, please make our bed and take away the 2 day old food. Free breakfast had a nice spread of hot food (eggs, bacon, pancakes, etc.)

Convenient Location With Friendly, Helpful Staff
I enjoyed my one night stay at the Hyatt House. The staff members were accommodating, friendly and helpful. The choice of room was somewhat intersting as I was placed in a space arranged for persons with visually iimpairments, but given my chosen profession (SPED Director), I found it well and appropriately appointed for that population. The bathroom was otherwise a bit tight (fixtures placed too closely) for me. The room was clean, both meter and valet parking available.

The property description states that there is limited onsite parking. The only onsite parking that they have is a parking garage that is valet only for $45. Your only other option is paid street parking. I believe the description is misleading.
There are signs on the windows in the room saying not to touch the blinds but to use the wall mounted remote controls. The controls do not work and the blinds have to be manually closed. Take the signs down.
I liked the location and the room itself-spacious, full kitchen, and comfy beds.

Staff wasn't very helpful or available. Customer service was either curt or not knowledgable regarding pretty simple questions. There is no restaurant, even though it states there is. The room appeared clean until you actually settled in. There was food under the couch, someones contacts stuck on the floor in the bathroom and one of the table lamps with outlets didnt work at all. Extremely loud music and crowd every night outside the hotel. Its a place to say that looks good abd thats about it.

The area around the hotel is very popular and so the traffic was horrible. When we walked in nobody greeted us. They were slammed and understaffed. The valet was so unorganized and the employee was unfriendly and unhelpful. We were so worried about our car we sat and waited for them to take the car to the garage because they make you park on the street and we were worried about our car. The hotel room was nice. Bed was comfy. We called for blankets and nobody answered so we went down and he said he’d bring up in 10 minutes. 30 minutes passed and no blankets so we went back down and he said “oh I forgot “. Breakfast was plentiful and fresh.
