Good Holiday Hotel
Our stay was great! There were very few people on the property (we stayed in the off-season), but the employees were all friendly and helpful. Great place to stay, especially if you have a dog!

Great hotel find
The Hampton Inn is a great find in this area. Like new, absolutely spotless, well run, with a friendly staff. Andy, at the front desk, was very colorful, efficient and helpful. Okaloosa Island is a short drive away and there are several national chain restaurants nearby. Very quiet at night. Great breakfast included with room.

The woman that checked me in was wonderful.
The bathroom was not the cleanest. There was a lot of black hair in the bathroom and in the tub.
I tried to call down to the front desk to notify them but the phone rang and rang. I picked up the hairs with a tissue and place them in the garbage.

My stay is never long enough love this stop great hotel great stay away from home and the sweet lady at front desk she has been here for years she is amazing sorry I don’t know her name but she works nights or evenings she has been here forever and is a great asset to the company would love to always stay when I’m in town love the area as well

Great Hotel Stay in Mary Esther, Florida
Mu husband and I stayed two nights. Our stay was better than anticipated. The room was clean. The beds were extremely comfortable. which gave us a great night rest. Bathroom linens were top quality. Breakfast had anything and everything you could want. The staff were over the top nice and friendly. Felt like home if not better!!

Hampton Disappoints
This is my first negative review of a Hampton property. Upon arrival after a long day of travel, we had been on the move for over 20 hours. we checked in, got our things got in the elevator, and we got trapped. doors closed, elevator would not move, my kids flipped out and cried. I MADE them ride the 2nd elevator against their will, only for it to be making some really bad noises and movements. So the rest of the stay I had to climb 4 flights of stairs. to make it worse, they knew they had been having issues, I spoke to a gentleman that had been trapped 4 times in the previous days/week. once we got to the room I get in the shower, only to find half way though that there was NO shampoo. So I had to get dressed and go down to the desk. Breakfast the next moring was a struggle. they coudn't keep up with food or coffee, but it was busy. the next morning, they ran out of grits an hour and half before breakfast was over, and refused to make anymore.

I was so disappointed. I have stayed at this hotel many times in the last 3 years and loved everything. This is the first time I wanted to leave! The room smelled soured. I sprayed air freshener and the odor would come back almost immediately. I couldn’t sleep for the smell. The floor was disgusting. The elevators were sketchy. The door shut, we pushed the 4th floor…the elevator went nowhere. It took it a few minutes before we could get the door to open. We used the stairs multiple times. The shower curtain was too short. The bathroom floor got soaked every time one of us showered. The staff is wonderful. It’s a shame everything else was awful!

Property was clean. If you have OCD like myself, it would be nice to wipe/clean the attached shampoo and condition bottles that had hair still on them from prior usage.

Friendly, and helpful front desk. However, someone tried to get into my room at 9:30 am and I was still in the room. The person did not identify themselves. I assumed it was housekeeping, but not positive. I did not like that at all. I told the front desk clerk and she said, she would remind the staff not to do that. It is very unnerving to me,.

Fort Walton Beach in February
My stay was over a weekend, so I didn’t expect to have any type of housekeeping, but every day the staff ensured that I had fresh towels.
Very clean; friendly and unobtrusive staff.
Only “complaint” would be thin walls at 1am that made it difficult to sleep.
Comfortable beds; adequate selection of cable stations.
Good continental breakfast with a broad enough selection.

Very disappointing for a Hilton operated place.
Smelly room, hard floors parts inside room looked clean but covered with a greasy film that makes the surface slippery, a really non pleasant feeling. Super noisy bed, metallic non stopping noise, if you're on bed then you get noise. Mattress seems yo be expired, not good at all.

The room we had was too small...there was just a single chair in the room. The water tasted terrible...had to buy bottled water. The breakfast shut down at 9 a.m. ... however, the sign in the hallway showed breakfast from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. . Breakfast was very good. It would've been nice to have oatmeal rather than grits all the time.

Hotel sucks
Did not have the reserved room. Tried three rooms. Wrong furniture on first. Bugs in sofa bed in second room. Mold in bathroom in third room. Called and emailed Hampton inn corporate. No response.

Everything was perfect for our brief stay. It truly lives up to others' wonderful ratings. While it may be a bit of a ride to the beach (about 30 minutes to Pensacola Beach), there is so much around in close proximity that it was not really an issue.

Everything was great! Service was excellent. Breakfast was awesome! The lady that works in the breakfast area was very pilot and had excellent customer service. I don’t recall her name, but she served breakfast all by herself except for Saturday. We asked for more towels and the lady working the front desk at night was extremely nice and happy to provide more towels. We would stay again. Happy with everything. Keep up the great work and keep your employees happy. Everything begins with them. Excellence always.

The stay was comfortable and wonderful. There were some people down the hall from us that were loud majority of our stay. Also the beds are too plush. We prefer medium firm mattresses and pillows. Outside of that, the staff was friendly, the hotel was immaculate and the food was good.

Large clean room, friendly staff, & good breakfast
We really enjoyed our stay here. Every hotel staff member we came into contact with was friendly and courteous. The room (king bed with sofa) was spacious and clean, sanitized, and sealed before entering. The bathroom was stocked with Neutrogena products and had plenty of towels. The air condition worked very well. The only downfall (to me) with the room was the barn-style bathroom door. It was a little heavy and somewhat noisy, waking me up when being opened or closed, but then again, I am a light sleeper. My hubby said it did not bother him at all and liked the look of it. Overall, I would pick this place again. I liked the location, away from the busy tourist area with plenty of parking, but close enough for a quick drive to the beach. I like peace and quiet when on vacation and that is exactly what we got. Oh and I cannot forget, breakfast was provided. Fresh waffles made for you as you request it but our personal favorite was the wildberry smoothie!!! If you are looking for a hotel with clean rooms and nice staff and away from drunken partying tourists, then this hotel is for you.

Didn’t like that the free breakfast was not buffet style. At other Hampton Inns during the pandemic you could wear and mask and gloves and still receive buffet style breakfast. The walls were very thin. I constantly Could hear neighboring room conversations. All during the night.

Hotel was great. Our bed was so comfortable! Staff at front desk was always so friendly. Very clean. We didn’t get house keeping at all except for the first day. Which is weird why we got it the first day and not any of the others if it had to do with COVID lol. Also another thing. The hot water in this hotel sucks. Or at least our room did. The bathroom sink was never warm water and we could never get it hot unless it stayed on for like 20 minute then it would get a little warm. And if you were taking a shower right after your spouse forget about you having hot water. But other than that it was a great hotel. Definitely would stay again!

I appreciated the breakfast every morning. I didn't like the fact that when I first arrived my reservations were not easily accessible. I didn't like that there were noisy people above me. I didn't like that there was pubic hair in one of the hand towels that was delivered to me. I didn't like the fact that my room phone was inoperable and had to be switched for another. I did not like my room being on the first floor steps away from the entrance. I did not like a gentleman coming to knock on my door very hard to tell me that check out was at 11:00 when I had only been there for one night but paid for six nights. I did not like that I was there for 6 nights and had no complimentary waters.

My stay was pleasant... the rooms were clean, comfortable beds, and they were sanitized before we entered. The pool was nice... the front desk clerk gave us fresh towels with no hassle at all. Free complimentary breakfast and all. I’d recommend and we’ll be staying again.

Great place to stay with a friendly staff!
My daughter & I were in town visiting friends for the weekend. The hotel was 5 minutes from their house so it worked out perfectly. Everyone we encountered was very friendly. Dianne was very nice & welcoming upon check in. There were signs everywhere throughout the hotel showing that all areas had been disinfected which I greatly appreciated.

Enjoyed our stay at the Hampton Inn. Very clean hotel. They went above and beyond to keep their guest safe. There was no breakfast bar due to COVID virus. There were to go breakfast bags, water, juice and coffee. Quit location not fare from the beach and shopping. Very friendly staff.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and housekeeping kept us stocked up. Due to Covid-19, they were not serving breakfast but provided us with breakfast bars and frozen sausage croissants which where just fine for us. Will definitely be back!

They charged me for smoking because I emptied my purse into the trash can. They took pics of the trash and said I was smoking physically. And the house keeping stoke my diamond chain letter necklace. I will be filling charges.
