Really liked this Fairfield Inn. Great value for the money. Check in in was smooth and we were able to get in before check in with an upgraded room. Staff was very attentive and pleasant. Whole place is clean and fresh. Very nice pool and hot tub area and small gym which we used both days. Breakfast was VERY good as these types of breakfasts go, and good coffee! Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Pool closed the county did it not us.
Booked this instead of another due to it having an indoor pool. Upon arrival pool closed. Never opened in the 4 days I was there. Left room around noon on 2nd day and requested my sheets changed. Returned back at end of the day and no housekeeping had been in room even after requesting from front desk. If you didn’t ask you didn’t get even if you asked. Reply from general manager from hotel survey just blamed the pool on the county and never assumed responsibility. County doesn’t close pool unless it is a maintenance issue. It made matters worse to have shifted the blame by management. Will not return to this hotel location or family of hotels.

The room was quiet and clean. It was strange being on the first floor because the window looked to a brick wall below ground. It was fine though. The only problems were the bathroom fan didn't work, the hot tub was out of order and someone was smoking weed in the vicinity of our room. The pool was nice, very chlorinated but still nice to swim in the winter. The towels were tiny, more like tea towels. The breakfast was nice, lots of options. We did take the oatmeal back to microwave.

Hotel was clean, desk staff were friendly and helpful. I had called before we arrived to make sure the hot tub worked and was told it was. When we arrived the hot tub didn’t even have water in it. The whole reason I booked here was the hot tub. The breakfast was not great.

Disappointing experience
I chose this hotel because our family had a pleasant stay in 2022. This visit was opposite. During check-in, the staff member on duty was unfriendly and paid more attention to her phone, giggling at whatever was on there. Next, our actual room had an unpleasant smell (cleaning supplies + cigarette smoke smell). Breakfast was decent and the staff member on duty during checkout was pleasant. We will not book this hotel again when returning to the area.

The room was comfortable and check in was very good our only complaints for is that the hair dryer didn't work in the shampoo dispenser was out of shampoo. We did appreciate that there was Max on the TV to watch movies. So all in all a very good place to stay

I will not stay in this hotel again. I’ve had such a hard time getting my money back and no one calls you back. As many hotels that I have stayed in I have never dealt with an issue with a hold being held on my account for 11 days after the hotel property had been paid

There was noise above us in the room. Not only the pool was small for swimming but one family kept diving in and making noise. The pool was not enjoyable. Overall, I will not recommend.

Great stay while in DC.
It was an amazing stay! Guest service was particularly one of the friendless we ever encountered. Special shout-out to Heather who went above and beyond on customer service for my wife and I. She recommended the best way to select Ubers around the town and just have that extra effort for us.

I had an excellent experience during my stay. I am a local resident and had to find a hotel due A/C issues at home. Breakfast was a great and the staff does an excellent job maintaining the area clean. There are limited options but just enough for a quick break, perhaps add some potatoes or bacon. I visited the pool which was very clean…I enjoyed it very much.
I would only suggest adding some note pads and pens to place on the desk for travelers that need to do some work done. Overall, a great stay except for the noise at night from the firefighter trucks. There’s a station nearby so there’s not much that can be done :)

Our original room reservation started out a little bumpy, but the front desk manager took care of it right away. (A BIG shout out for our angel Heather!!) Our room was very clean & comfortable. The breakfast was good. The pool & hot tub was fun. The entire staff was happy & helpful. We'd come back here in a heartbeat!

We really enjoyed this hotel. We stayed 4 nights while visiting the Alexandria/DC area. They were also booked with what looked like a large field trip and still had no issues with noise etc. I would recommend this hotel.

This was my second time in the hotel. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. Love that the bathrooms are always white and spotless. Great free breakfast too. It is quiet and safe, very convenient location. Loved it!

Big enough for 4 to spreadout
The kids were thrilled that there was a pullout sofa so they didn't have to share a bed, but found the pullout to be a bit uncomfortable. Otherwise we were happy with the room.

The staff was very friendly and professional. I did leave a personal item a I watch in my room when I called back, they retrieve the watch for me and stated they will ship it to me very professional, and kind. other than the walls were thin in the hallways from hollow, and again hear them in your room at night, and people walking above you, the professionalism and cleanliness made up for it. I would recommend this to a friend.

This was a very basic hotel - I would have ranked it higher because it was clean and comfortable, but for the very high price I would have expected much better amenities. The pool was very small, and the hot tub was out of service. The beds were comfortable, but the AC didn’t work very well in our room.

Occasional disappointment.
I stay here frequently and occasionally find the room smells of body odor, despite appearing clean. I will spray the room a/c filter with my cologne just to overcome the BO smell but that only lasts a day or so. Very strange, as I request sheets and bedding be changed and the odor lingers.

The check-in was good. Every hotel has their own paperwork to fill out, but this one seemed odd. The room was perfect for our family of 4. The breakfast was good, and the staff that was providing it attempted to keep everything in stock.
The only issue I had was when my wife and I took our 2 children to the pool. There was 2 parents, 5 children in the pool playing music so loud I could not hold a conversion without yelling. The music had cursing and that whole family was singing along. A staff member came in multiple times to check towels within the 30 minutes of us staying and did not correct this issue.
The main reason we picked this hotel out of all the others was due to the fact a pool was provided. We could not use it due to this issue.

The hotel lobby and common areas were Brett clean and well maintained, even the public restrooms were clean and smelled fresh. However our bathroom shower still had hair left behind, and hanging from the body wash container. The room itself was pretty clean but the beds do not have mattress covers on them underneath the sheets which is concerning. Also the beds were extremely uncomfortable, even my husband who likes a firm mattress woke up in pain both mornings after sleeping on them. Our kids enjoyed the pool & hot tub. Overall not a bad hotel but probably would look elsewhere in the future.

The First staff who greeted me at the desk and help me check in and accommodate was very nice friendly and knows her job, fast walk me to the elevator and told me about the break fast included. Sorry I forgot her name but she can speak multie language.

the hotel was nice but you has to press the channel button on the tv remote to change channels. need the change the remote type wouldn't allow you to change a channel by hitting the appropriate buttons.

This is is a new Fairfield Inn and Suites. The rooms are very comfortable, quiet, and clean. The breakfast was OK, nothing too special, but the area was clean and large enough to spread out.

Great choice
The hotel is located near dining it is a short drive to major attractions. When I stepped off the elevator that lobby area needs vacuuming so it made me think the rooms wouldn't be clean but to my surprise everything was very clean, the rooms are standard, staff was kind and professional.
The area was safe.

It was super clean and very quiet. It was a little awkward getting to the hotel from the highway. At the free breakfast, the sausage biscuits were soggy, and the hard boiled eggs were bland with the favor of, maybe, a cardboard box? The Cheerios were great, though! We enjoyed our stay very much. Loved that YouTube and Netflix were available. I also loved the shampoo & conditioner options that were in pump bottles in the shower. Over all, great stay, and I'd recommend to friends.

Not ready on time!
This is the 3rd time we have stayed in this hotel because we liked it and wanted to give them another chance - but not anymore! It is the 3rd time that our handicap accessible room was not ready at least one hour beyond the check in time. It is very upsetting when you call ahead, make arrangements, plan your trip based on check in time and prepare your handicapped spouse for a 6 hour trip and then have to wait because that one room isn't ready! If you are not in need of a handicap accessible room, it is fine - just not for us anymore!

We were not permitted to check in until after 420pm due to availability of clean rooms. Free breakfast was gross. The lady who checked us in must have been having a bad day and seemed very short with other customers. It was not a bad experience it just wasn’t a pleasant one either.

The property was clean and provided a welcoming environment. The room was nice but had issues. The toilet ran all night, the lamp shades were broken and there was a block of ice in the freezer that did not allow the refrigerator to close. I had to remove the shelves to close it. Next, when checking in, I asked if the pool and hot tub were open, the receptionist replied yes. I check in and take my items to the room, on the elevator I read, all guest must sign in at the front desk for the pool. (Why did the receptionist not tell me this?) I go back to the front desk to sign up, went great. Get to pool and there are no towels anywhere. I go back to the front desk and request towels, the receptionist says I will have some sent down. I go back to the pool, swam for a bit, (no towels), moved to the hot (warm) tub and was super disappointed. I maintenance man walked in so I asked about the hot tub, he replied- we have been having issues so it doesn't get as hot as it should. At this point, I am ready to go back to my room, so I asked him if he could get me a towel as they still have not arrived. At check out, I explained all my issues to the General Manager and he asked every question to make it seem like it was my issue to deal with. Did you call maintenance for the toilet?, did you ask to switch rooms?, did you report the hot tube last night?, I was so upset, I left. I do not think this hotel deserves to carry the Marriott name. I also took pictures if you would like to see them.
