The entire experience was wonderful. I hosted a group of 15 ladies and we had no issues. The manager surprised us with a bottle of champagne. We will definitely return.

The room was a nice size. Liked that it had washing machine, toaster oven and microwave. Didn't mind the walk to Ocean Drive and Lincoln, and felt safe to walk.. a few nice local restaurants in neighborhood. Would definitely recommend for anyone not wanting to be in the noisy/expensive Ocean Drive/Collins Ave area.

The ABAE Hotel was one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in. The staff was friendly and courteous. The location was quiet and calm, and the rooms were clean and all the amenities were outstanding. Would love to stay here again!

The staff was very friendly and courteous Especially George he helped check us in provided information about the surrounding neighborhood and even assisted with Valet overall I had a great experience and would not mind staying there again. Also every single amenities and restaurants are within walking distance depending on your taste and stride lol❤️

Rob was fantastic with check-in and the vibe and of the hotel is great! Bed is super hard, not cozy bedding (a sheet and a thin blanket) and there was a hole in the bathroom wall and a few places on the floor where the flooring plank was needing repair.

The location was very good, and the space was nice. We did have and issue with the toilet, but they came right up and fix it. The TV in the bedroom was not working. I told them when I checked out as I was there for one day. Staff was nice and it was good to have the sandwich shop where you can pick up something to eat without going out if you did not want to.

I've stayed at ABAE several time mostly for convenience; the unit bathrooms need some renovation. Also never possible for a late check out. Valet parking is very expensive and limited dining in the area.

ABAE-CHIC-CLEAN-CLASSY..
I enjoyed my stay at the ABAE Hotel. I loved every room and the layout. The balcony and amenities were awesome.The front desk/staff were always so polite. The maid gives 5-star service. I would leave & she would wash my dishes. I didn't know when she entered but I appreciate her services so much.Please visit the pool on the roof too.Thanks guys for the 5-star treatment.

This is absolutely not a 4-star hotel, it's more like a 3-star hotel or a 4-star apartment building with security. We were very disappointed with the check-in process, it took us 45 minutes to check in. the Smell in the lobby and the corridors was overwhelming, too many sprayed chemicals. The reception never answered our call from the room. The pool rooftop is nice. The apartment is spacisous but not well though through in terms of design.

I Never do reviews but this quaint gem is worth it. I really liked the location, how clean the community is and the aesthetics. The cafe connected to the hotel was one of my favorite things about my stay. I like healthy food options and the cafe was Perfect. The hotel felt like home. Having a refrigerator allowed us the ability to save money by storing food. The washer and dryer was a Great convenience. We were about to wash our work out clothes and didn't have to repack soiled garments. The bedroom was small but quaint and I really liked the view. The living room space made up for the small bedroom because it was spacious enough to hang out, sit on couch and watch the basketball games with friends. I Absolutely recommend this stay.

No AC and poor Mgmt
We stayed for two nights. The first night we were supposed to get a room on the top floor (penthouse). Keys didn’t work. Went back downstairs and had to wait for 30 minutes while the clerk was checking in everyone else although he knew we needed only new keys. He just automatically assumed the “battery” was dead in the food and sent us to a new room and we would move the next day. We had a tour scheduled the next day so we were gone from morning to night but when we arrived we got our new keys and went to our room. After an awhile the room was very hot and we couldn’t get the AC to work. We opened windows but it’s Miami and we are on the top floor. It was truly miserable. No sleep. When we go to check out we find out that the AC is tied to three rooms and someone in one of the other rooms thought it was too noisy and had flipped the breaker the night before and apparently again the night we stayed. The “best” the hotel could do was refund our “resort” fee and parking charges (Around $150). We still paid over $300 a night. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone.

If the rate is in low 100’s it’s good but I paid 275 a night and at that pricing it’s offensive. The rooms are small and the furniture feel like IKEA. TV are super small. The staff was amazing and super great though. The style of the hotel outside the rooms is nice. Again, not worth $300 but if it’s like $120, worth it.

The room was great and we liked how the main room was shut off from the living area but the tv out in the living area didn’t work. We asked on 3 separate occasions to have someone come and fix it and it never got fixed. There is also only 1 ice machine and it was broken which meant that we had to buy bags of ice on multiple occasions.

Stayed 2 nights within a week. First room was fine. 2nd stay, our room needed an update and was not cleaned very well. Hair in the bathroom etc. the floors were destroyed. It was nice to have washer dryers dishwasher etc in the room though.

I’ve stayed here twice now because I need to be able to prepare my own meals when I travel and having a place to do so is my main priority. The interior of the building is not very well maintained. Both times I wound up purchasing cleaning supplies and going through the room because the room wasn’t up to a standard I’m comfortable with. They douse everything in overpowering fragrance, so if you get migraines, don’t even consider booking here.
The hotel is moderate at best, and is outrageously overpriced for what you get. They also don’t refund the $200 deposit. So plan accordingly in your budget to either lose the money or have to dispute the charges
If you’re willing to deep clean, a kitchen is worth the trade off for absolutely no luxury if allergies, celiac, etc are factors in your travel plans
There is no sound proofing of any kind and they start housekeeping services by vacuuming the halls before 8am. It’s ridiculous how much noise that makes. If there’s a baby on your hall, you’ll be aware of every single time it cries. If your neighbor uses the shower or toilet, you’ll hear it. Hope that the people above you take their shoes off, or you’ll be acutely aware of every move
The washer/dryer is a steam unit. Your laundry will take 4-6 hours.

The accommodations are AMAZING!! The only suggestion I would have would be better instructions for the washer/dryer. Since it is a combo unit, we were not familiar with it and it never seemed to work properly. Otherwise, absolutely amazing and would HIGHLY recommend. The area is ideal for a trip to South Beach and the staff were all incredible.

Went on a girls trip for the weekend and stayed here. We absolutely loved it! Great location in walking distance to a lot. The roof top pool is heated which is nice for a night swim. The coffee shop area is a very chilled and relaxing atmosphere, fantastic spot for a morning hangout to get the day started. Also, the staff was very friendly and accommodating. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend.

Lovely place with MAJOR issues - very disapointing
The pros and cons of this property:
PROS: Attractive, nice staff, many amenities (see below), good location. Comfy/Large bed, extra linens.
CONS: Most amenities did not work (TV in bedroom, NesCafe coffee maker, Washer/Dryer) and there was no resolution offered. The pool was closed for repairs. No on-site parking. No food option on-site (no breakfast at all).
WORST: we arrived to a room was a nauseating stench of cigarettes; I'm not talking 1 or 2 smokes...I'm talking chain smoking all night and morning before we arrived. It was unbearable. The front desk manager kindly came up to our room; he was also blown away by the smell, had no backup rooms available and said the only resolution was to be sure the HVAC was turned on. The scent have me a migraine and made the entire stay unpleasant. The hotel was apologetic but offered zero accommodation or resolution whatsoever, it was simply our problem. They did indicate that they'd charge the prior guests $500 and they'd it cleaned.

I first would like the thank the lady at the front desk that helped us check in a little early. The hotel was just ok. I do not think it’s worth $200 a night. That’s 4 star hotel prices. My room was very neat however did not like there was no refrigerator. My balcony had water leaking all over it so it was moldy looking. The bed needs a thicker comforter. The pool area is the only amenity they have so paying a resort fee is ridiculous. We bought day passes to go to other resorts. Overall the hotel is just ok. Not my cup of tea but wasn’t too bad. There’s a Whole Foods a block away which was convenient to grab things for the room. Beach is a short uber ride costs about $8-$10. The area is safe and walkable.

The only good thing about this property was the valet guy. He was very helpful and nice. The room was clean however the smoke alarm beeped the entire time about every 30 seconds. The thermostat for the air wouldn’t go below 76 therefore the night was miserable and hot. They didn’t have toiletries like a usual hotel would. Which normally wouldn’t matter to me but we were only going for one night so I didn’t pack body wash and face wash. My fault I guess and won’t make that mistake again. The worst part we made the reservation through ORBITZ and at first made it for the wrong date contacted ORBITZ who was supposed to CANCEL the wrong reservation to enable a refund And make the correct reservation which they did. After many hours of arguing with ORBITZ come to find out the wrong reservation was never cancelled so the hotel marked us as no shows and refused to refund the money and ORBITZ won’t do anything about it either. So for one night we paid more than 500. Fantastic.

We was placed in a room that was not fully ready. We made it to the hotel about 8pm clock. We sit our bags done and left out the door. We made it back to the hotel about 2am. Not thinking that we would have to check to make sure the thing we need are in the room (like towel and tissue) . We held this hotel to a high standard which was to high because we didn’t have to check for simple things that should have been provide in the room. We wasn’t provided towels, sheet when we first arrived. I had to come downstairs to received them. I Showed the employees pictures and videos of the situation. There was no toilet paper in the room. I had to come down in the morning to receive. No one answers the phone to request these thing. So the only way to speak to someone is by going down stairs. Shower head is broken, thermostat broken, room is extremely cold. The staff is unprofessional. Once I brought it to the staffs attention he responded that they wouldn’t do anything because its a one night stay. We should be treat like every other customer not different because we’re only staying for one night. A stay is a stay regardless on how many days it is. He didn’t have any remorse or sympathy for the way we was treated. We was only given one key to my room. When I was under the impression you receive two. Also I was never instructed on how to use the elevator or about the velvet parking.

Staff greeted you everytime you left and entered the hotel. Cleaned room every single day. Balcony was cute and small. Really liked how “homey” it felt. Very nice layout && clean room. Only thing I did not like was that the bed made a lot noises while sleeping. Also, the water in the bathroom was difficult to maneuver to get it to a good setting for warm water. it would be either too cold or hot.

The hotel was VERY clean. The hotel was not far from the airport. The location was clean and felt safe. The rooms were large and spacious. The rooms had a very neat eco-friendly layout. The room had a unique washer/dryer unit-in-one neatly tucked away inside cabinets. EXCELLENT STAY!
