Down Hill
Night person is nice elderly lady but not able to do the job in a timely manner. Room was ok but mattresses were old and saggy. Tv remote only did volume and couldn't change channel. Completely unusable. Breakfast is very basic and cold. Won't stay here again.

It was pretty clean overall but there was a white film of like gross water and dust inside the coffee pot (where you pour water). Wanted coffee but wasn't going to use that.

Pleasant and economical!
Good place to stay, especially traveling with a dog. Front desk person on duty was very friendly and helpful. She went out of her way to make sure we weren't given a room that had an issue the last time she worked. We did not eat breakfast, so can’t comment on that. The hotel is dated, but was clean, comfortable, and good quality for the price.
We would stay there again in the future.
Also, we ate dinner at a local restaurant called Woody’s Woodfire Pizza. It was excellent! Cozy, friendly and yummy food!
For a reasonable price. It is about a 15 minute drive, but worth it!!!

Linda at front desk was amazing.
The On Call Manager not so much. Why did it take 2 1/2 hours to get the tv working?
No I DID NOT change any settings on the tv!!!! NO I do not know how to identify a Direct TV box that was installed in the tv cabinets so............. asking me these questions did NOTHING to resolve why the tv did not work. Maybe someone prior to my stay did something to tv or?????

My stay was great. Bed was clean and comfy. Towels were new and super soft. New owners are definitely working on improving this hotel. Staff was friendly and helpful. Easy on and off interstate. Would stay there again.

Really clean and quiet. Great location Nice grassy courtyard to potty your dog. Not disclosed that $15 to have a dog stay there. Otherwise very good for an overnight.

I'll start staying here when I'm passing through.
Pleasantly surprised. The older woman who checked me in after 10pm was very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean. I enjoyed having a balcony to drink my morning coffee on. Many hotels in the area and interstate nearby but was overall a clean and quiet neighborhood.

The night manager was friendly, no reg coffee, they replaced cups, but had to walk to desk from 261to get coffecapacks. Toilet never flushed til very last day, no chair in room, bed was greatest 👌

Simple, Safe and Solid
Our hotel room was updated, very clean and was highly satisfactory, especially for the price. Nice breakfast area with the usual choices — cereal, yogurt, bagels, muffins and a nice pancake maker that was a nice change from the usual waffle maker. Location was also excellent, since it was close to many restaurant choices.

First room water leak in bathroom light did not work also. Moved to king bedroom from 2 twin beds. In order to stay on ground floor. Wife had knee replacement. Can’t go up stairs and no elevator

Adequate accommodations
Was a crime committed in Room 311? There were some kind of red stains on the window curtains, and in the bathroom, the shower tile had been painted over, and there were stains coming through that are reminiscent of the finger-printing dust used by crime scene techs. One actually looks like a footprint... WTH? We decided we didn't really need to shower.
Fortunately the rest of the bathroom was clean, and the room itself was clean, the decor was nice, although sparse, and the beds were comfortable, which was the important part when all you want is to sleep.

The room was great, thank you..Not sure if able to add a extra chair..however when 2 guests stay ...one ends up having to sit on the bed.. when you are 75 years old it is uncomfortable to do that.

The staff was so friendly. But the facilities was dirty and felt unsafe. We got 2 rooms while we had been passing through with our animals. It was a great inexpensive option. One room bathroom had missing ceiling tiles and was dirty. The room was musty, and their was splatters on the walls. The 2nd room had a damaged tub. Smears on the bathroom wall, the room was visibly dirty, one of the sheets had literally boot prints across it, and had stuff dripping down the dresser and the lights had brown goop on them.
I get the, you get what you paid for, but at the same time, i felt i paid for atleast clean sheets.

Check in was exceptional. The lady checking me in was so friendly, helpful and personable! What a refreshing experience! The room works very well for us because we travel with a small dog. The $15 added pet fee is acceptable.
The breakfast layout was minimal but understandable for the price of the room.

We always stay here an this time was very heart breaking..got my shoe from I der bed an seen a used condom under the bed along with other trash..also went out the door was talking to my husband at 9am an watching a video on the phone of are grandkids an the house keeper came around the wall that divided the room an asked if we are leaving now an asked us 3x then told us to leave door unlocked..I wanted to say check out is at 11am not 9 am but I didn't we just stopped an got are stuff an left..that will never happen again to us..I use to love this place but they have to improve because as of now we will go somewhere else..I'm still very upset over how dirty under the bed was makes you wonder if they even change the sheets I hope the owners see this post an does something

There was blood on the wall and there was as stains on the mattress cover, and a giant hole behind the bathroom door. The floor was so dirty that when I got into the shower there was black dirt coming off of my feet

I always enjoy staying here. It is clean &they have smoking rooms. That is why I stay her They have a good laundry room & I love that pancake machine. I appreciate the desk clerk who always calls me to see if the room is okay!

won't do that again!!!
the first room they put us in was not cleaned the beds were not made and someone had puked. the second room they put us in had a puddle of water around the leaking toilet and the air conditioner didn't work. Finally the third room was ok although not the best but then again we were there for work and didn't care to much. each time we had an issue we had to drive all the way around the property because there was only one person working. there was also no elevator and I struggle with stairs and our first room was on the second floor. We received one apology a single word "sorry" throughout the whole ordeal and that was it. If it tells you anything about the type of person I am, this is the first time I have ever left a review, so it must have been bad if I choose to now.

Room very old and outdated. Smelled stale. Air conditioner 2 feet from bed. When on it froze us. When off room got very hot. Whole hotel was not represented appropriately on website. Also not comfortable with sliding door to outside.

Air conditioner did not cool down the room until around 6:00 the next morning even though it was set at 65 degrees and Auto.
Bed was very comfortable but had a difficult time going to sleep because room temp must have been around 74 degrees.
Check in took longer than I’d expect.
Quiet which was nice.

The bathroom previously had a leak from the floor above. The ceiling tiles were never replaced and are now completely covered in mold. Mold is also growing around the top of the tub.

Rooms are very clean and nice for the price. The hallways weren’t in great condition. Front desk staff was so friendly and helpful! In the morning we went to take our showers and realized we didn’t have bath towels. The man with housekeeping was irritated when we ask for towels and gave us one. When we later went to get ice for our cooler we passed the housekeeping room that was FULL of towels. Other than that rotten egg it was a great value for a low price.

The interior was good, but outdoors around the pool had trash, debris and needed to be mown. There were people in the halls and outside in the pool area most of the night, being very loud. I wouldn’t confront strangers nor would I expect a desk clerk to do so. I didn’t want to call the police, because I fear for people’s safety.

Room had been mildly renovated. Many shortcuts were taken. Staff was friendly enough. No QC on the rooms were done. Lights in the bathroom didn’t work. Half the lamps didn’t work and the curtains had been pulled down and needed to be fixed.

The hotel needs some attention. The grout in the bathroom was yucky. We had 2 rooms for 5 of us. There were 3 in our room and we only had 2 towels. Had to go to the front desk for more towels after swimming. Had requested adjoining rooms or at least next door to each other, but we’re were down the hall from each other.

The sheets were dirty and the rest of the room looked as though it hadn't been cleaned either. Carpets were sticky in the hallways and it just had a "run-down" feel. Although the staff was friendly and the water pressure was great; I would not stay here again.

I have stayed here many times! I have never had any problems. I especially like the pancake machine at breakfast. I stay at a lot of hotels & most hotels are cutting back on breakfast because of the high cost of food. This was the 3rd hotel that I stayed in this week. I was wanting to do laundry but the 2 previous hotels had closed the laundry room kept getting broke in to. One was a Best Western. So was glad to do laundry & they have a very nice laundry area.

Check in at almost 11 pm was a breeze. The desk clerk was polite, friendly and efficient.
Breakfast was great and facilitated our getting on the road quickly to finish our 10 hour trip.

Towel on the floor for the drip
The room was okay but there was a leak in the ceiling near the ac that constantly dripped while the ac was on. The telephone had a flashing red light that they said could not be turned off. There was no creamer or sugar for the coffee. The shower wasn’t really clean. The bed was clean and comfortable.

We have stayed at this property at least 9 times in the last 2 years, and this was the worst. First room smelled of cigarette smoke. Second room toilet seat was very loose ( I fixed that), the lamps were not plugged in (I fixed that) and the bathroom floor was sticky as in unclean. I will have to try another pet-friendly location when I am in Joplin July 16. Too bad.

Ants in my room and the breakfast area. Towels okay but wash cloths stained and dingy. Kleenex box had one Kleenex and none were available when I asked for a box.

We walk in the room and walked out. Headboard was not cleaned, there was gum hanging on the desk, the door was dirty and AC didnt blow cold. If they couldnt even bother to wipe down the headboard then I can only imagine what else they didnt clean.
