The property has recently been temporarily closed. We had driven from out of state for a college football game weekend where hotel rooms are hard to come by. We had no notice until we got to the parking lot and saw no cars and only a sign that they were temporarily closed with doors locked and no one on the premises. I have filed a claim with my credit card to get my money back for a booked stay that could not be honored. Horrible experience.

Booked a room for multiple nights on Expedia months in advance AND paid for travel insurance, got confirmation emails. We called hotel on day of to confirm we'd be in town late, phone went to voicemail. Called main Days Inn scheduling number and they said no problems. Late that night on our scheduled check-in day we showed up at the hotel... to find it CLOSED and under renovation! We had to scramble at midnight to book an expensive alternative. Days Inn people took no responsibility and said it was Expedia's fault. Expedia promised a refund but said it would take weeks. Ridiculous. We will not stay at Days Inns again, nor will we use Expedia again.

The hotel is is non operational and is closed for more than a month. The most surprisingly it was still listed on Expedia. I booked, and ended up with no hotel when i reached there. I had no other choice except to to get a hotel for almost 400$ per night that too after walk-in to at least 3 hotels before I got this.This wasn’t expected from such big company like Expedia with such high status. Expedia needs to accept and take the responsibility of all this nonsense and trust me I won’t leave you guys walk away just like that. It was an an important event for my family because we were dropping off our son to his new college.

Worst ever experience at Days Inn
Hotel was closed when we got there. No notification that it was closed. At least hotels.com found me another hotel very quickly. Charged twice and still waiting for refund.

It was bad experience
Well check-in time started at 3 pm we were down that way around 2 pm so we went and found stuff to do to wait we goit there about 8:20 pm and was told it would be 30 min or so there was no room ready just over a hour later finally got a diff room they had just cleaned for someone else I guess who got tired of waiting

Walls and ceilings falling apart, bathtub knobs gross and falling off. Rusted and broken metal strips on outside stairs, old mattresses and demolition materials in parking lot, only muffins for advertised free breakfast. Will not use this hotel chain again, feel I should get a discount on next booking for false advertisement.

This was absolutely the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. The room did not have a phone. The place is old and run down. There were stains on the chair. The shower did not work properly. Even the TV remote control was dirty and sticky. If my deposit wasn't nonrefundable I would have demanded a refund. I am very displeased with this experience. If this is an example of Expedia then I will not be using your service ever again!

DO NOT STAY HERE!! (bed bugs)
When you pull up it had a tarp over the whole roof. When you walk in, it smelled of pee and smoke even though it says it’s a non-smoking facility. We got huge headaches being in there for 5 minutes. The rooms had gum and some red substance in the wall and shower curtain. They are know to have bed bugs apparently it’s know for having strippers and addicts stay there.

This property is in need of a full remodel/update. Rooms are pretty terrible - smoking in non-smoking rooms, wall paper peeling in all three rooms my family was in, mattresses were wrapped in plastic under the sheets.

Most horrific place we ever stayed. There are bugs on the bed. You can call this Bugs Inn. We were not able sleep at all, because of late check in we could not go to another place. Never coming back omg.

Check in time the room wasn't ready. It had a hole in the wall. Drawers were broke. Somebody wrote on the mirror don't use the sink. Roach in the tub just awful. We gave the key back immediately, was never offered a refund or a better room. Worst hotel I've ever been in.

The lobby smells bad. The property is old and rundown. Room was not ready at 5 PM. Sent to 2 rooms neither of which were ready. Told to come back later. Room smelled of smoke and was very uncomfortable. Bathroom was clean and that was the best part probably

No soap or shampoo. No regular coffee. No coffee cups. Toilet kept running unless you take top off and jiggle valve. Shower curtain was full of mold. Only had chocolate muffins, no other kinds. If i wasn't so tired would've gone somewhere else.

Simple, no frills, but clean.
A simple, no frills, and economically favorable hotel. Needed to find a place close to VT in a hurry and this fit the bill. The management were VERY nice and humble. The place is getting a face lift, but when the refurbishing is complete it should look much better. Room was very clean. Bed and TVs were nice.

This was the most disgusting hotel I have ever seen. The conditions were deplorable: dirty sheets, bugs, dirty room and bathrooms and a PEEP HOLE on the adjoining door to name a few.
In 50 years this is the first time I went to a hotel and did not stay!!!
I made multiple attempts for reimburse through Hotels.com and have not gotten any response.
Very disappointed and I will no longer use this service.

It's a wreck
I'll never trust Hotels.com ratings again. Supposedly this "hotel" has a "fair" rating but out of 30 reviews this year, 17 have rated it "poor." The place is extremely dilapidated, with renovation happening around the paying guests. There's a lot of demolition debris laying around, including on the cover of the attractive pool you can see in the photos. We did have a new and clean bathroom and the bedding and beds were ok, but they shouldn't really be open for business at all.

Stay away!!! This place is disgusting. The furniture and bathroom were all cracked and peeling. There was a fire code violation in the form of a plastic bag taped over the smoke detector. The room next to us had a window that was smashed in. The rooms reeked of smoke. I changed rooms and the next room smelled of death and mold. The seconds room had water damage to the ceilings. Absent staff and poor customer service. Should be condemned or bulldozed.

Fair at best
Not exactly clean sheets. Found bed bugs on both mattresses. Complimentary breakfast was basically nonexistent. Parking was plentiful.

(1)I did not get the room that I requested.
.
(2)The shower curtian was falling off the walls (screws had fallen out).Facet in bathtub was loose and sticking out of the wall.
(3)Holes in the wall above the sink where there may have been a shelf at one time.
(4)Shelf with clothes can be hung up was falling out of the wall from missing screws. ( look like they were pulled out)
(5)Safety securty latch on the inside of the door was missing.
(6) bulbs missing out of lights
(7)There was no phone in the room ( no way to get a wake-up call)
(8)Sign on front door said mask required but no one in the lobby had a mask on
(9)Cover for exhust fan in bathroom was missing
(10)floors were not cleaned very well because there was coins lieing on it

Worst hotel ever!
Worst hotel we have ever stayed at. Smelled like smoke and weed, stains on everything, the entire bathroom was chipped and falling apart, toilet ran all night, not clean at all.

I wouldn’t recommend my enemies here. Someone tried to break into our room. After we had to switch from our original room because the shower was broken and the sheets were dirty. If I could give zero stars I would. The curtains were hanging off the rails and were torn at the bottom. There were a bunch of druggies outside. The pool (main reason I picked this place) was not even open. It’s almost July. And hot. Come on. The water leaked. There were holes in the walls and our bed in our second room was broken down the middle so when you slide off one side the bed comes up off the ground. Only good part about this place was checking out.

The bathroom had tub tiles totally missing around the tub faucet, there was a large space at the bottom of the door to the outside, & there was no phone in the room. We asked for a better room. This 2nd room had no phone & no TV remote. But worst of all the toilet seat was not attached to the toilet. We left & found a much better hotel to stay in!

Not as depicted. Picture display on website must be a painting because it not the Days Inn. No swimming pool. Felt like I was at home in my concrete wall basement. Rikers Island, I believe, must have better accommodations. Water and mold damage on walls and bathtub clogged with previous guests hair. Blood spots on bathtub and sheets. Floor and ceiling must’ve been made of paper mache because every single step was heard. Upstairs guests were so loud with their laughing and playing of country music. Checkout was 11am but left at 7am. Couldn’t wait to get the hell out of there. Board of Health should inspect this property. I rather sleep in my car than another night at the Days Inn. I am really looking into getting a reimbursement for spending time at this nightmare. Felt Catfish’d!

The phone in the room did not work. Some of the lamps do not work. Half the TV channels don't work, including all of the news and weather channels. No 'free' breakfast to speak of. Wifi did not work and no one on staff knew how to fix it. Bed was OK, and the heater worked well. Plenty of hot water, too.

I had low expectations for $60 a night, but this…
Where to begin… Cockroaches on walls and ceilings (most scattered when I turned on the lights but I managed to get a pic of one). Lots of flies. A/C unit was gutted. Carpet peeling back. Paint chipping and peeling. Stains on blankets (including blood?). Overwhelming cigarette smoke odor even though I specifically booked non-smoking room. Smoke alarm ripped off wall. Chain lock on door ripped out. Peep hole on door ripped out and stuffed with toilet paper. Torn curtains that didn’t fully cover window. Bags of trash outside door. We left and went to another hotel despite the fact that it was 11pm and we’d been driving all day.

Awful. Absolutely awful.
In all my years of traveling it might have been the worst hotel I've ever stayed at. My wife was concerned about leaving out teen age kids alone in the room because of the others in the hotel. It was incredibly unclean and run down. We had at least one towel that was unclean and the tub was chipping and the facet falling off the wall. The dresser drawers were broken and we found bugs in the bed the next day.

Mold visible on every surface (in/outside) with strong mildew odor. Moisture issue so severe door hinges rusted. Unsafe working electrical outlet, cover missing with exposed loose wires. Crumbling outside & inside. Cockroaches in fridge & on walls. Doors don’t open, close or lock (in/out). All linen stained. Holes in shower stall. Breakfast is a danish & ran out before 8:30. Roaches! Door key broken
First of all the key card wouldn’t work. Guy came to help and got my door open. I left to get food and again my key card didn’t work. Guy came out again to get me in. I was outside freezing waiting. And to top it off, the room has roaches! Manager on duty said they had sprayed recently. And they need a place to die?! It was really late when I saw a roach so I slept with light on. Room 106. I told manager I wanted my money back and he said to contact other manager later yesterday. I was on the road all day yesterday. I will call tonight.

The guy who checked me in was very nice and helpful but the lady the next day had issues...she sent house keeping to my room twice cause she said the phones didn't work yet I called the front desk...any way it was over my service dog which was taken care of kindly at check in...I was trying to get to work and she and housekeeping was very rude and antagonizing

This hotel should be knocked down. We had 3 rooms. The sheets and covers had blood stains and cigarette burns. Mold on ceilings and walls from neglected water damage. Unmaintained/unfiltered heater full of disgusting debris. Holes and stains all over the walls. No shower curtain. Disconnected sink plumbing/pipes. Broken furniture. No weather stripping around windows and doors. Unvacuumed. All rooms stunk of smoke.

The first room we had was on the ground floor. the curtain didn’t close so there was no privacy in a room whose window opened up to a parking lot. So, I asked for a new room which was worse than the first. The second room had literal POOP on the floors, hair and stains on the sheets, no pillow cases, and the room smelled AWFUL. I wish I could attach the video we took. The only good thing about this place was the lady at the front desk was nice.

Worst hotel ever. Took 20 minutes at checkin for them to find a room that would unlock with their cards. Then had to switch me to another room. Then next morning the card would not unlock my room. AND THEIR SIGNS SAY MASKS REQUIRED TO ENTER LOBBY, BUT NO ONE WAS MASKED, INCLUDING ALL EMPLOYEES.

When we arrived, the desk clerk was asleep in the dining room lying down in a booth. She could not find our reservations, so we just paid for a room on site. And we were also charged for the reservation, which has NOT been refunded. The room was filthy and is disrepair. My granddaughter’s feet were black from walking on the carpet. The bed lamp had so much dust on it that I could write my name in it. The AC plug was a fire hazard lying directly on the carpet. The ceiling had holes in it. The wall frame next to the floor had so much hair on it that I could weave a wig. The fridge was propped up with one of the shelves from the inside of it. The tv remote was not working properly and the first 8 channels on the tv had NO volume. We will NEVER stay at a days inn ever again!!!

Nasty and slow!
45 minutes to check in. The desk clerk was left on a Friday night, a game weekend do VA Tech by herself to check in a long line of people. Seriously?
The bathroom did have clean towels, but hadn’t been cleaned. There was feces on the outside of the toilet, bugs in the bathroom, and hair on the sink.
Most of the television stations didn’t work, and the room could use some serious repairs.

Worst Room Ever!
This room was one of the worst rooms I have ever stayed in. The room was filthy. One of the beds had stains on the sheets. The walls had stains and holes, as well as, peeling wall paper. The microwave and fridge were dirty. There was a gnat infestation in the room. I killed over thirty myself, and the walls were stained with bug innards from previous guests killing them as well. The hanging rack was half hanging out of the wall. The cherry on top of it all, was that the tv did not work. It was all static all the time. Definetly do not recommend anyone stay here...ever.

We booked two king rooms and upon check-in we were informed only one king room was available but we could have a double bed room, so we took it. It took the front desk two attempts to get keys to get us into the disaster of a room. Once inside there were no sheets on the bed, cleaning chemicals were sprayed on the surfaces but not cleaned. Upon returning to the office to inform them of the issues, we were told they had no other rooms available and we had to find a new hotel altogether.

Terrible hotel/motel. Fruit flies and hair clogging the bath tub drains. This place is so rundown, recommend you find someplace else. Outside stairs - concrete is cracked and stairs are different heights. This place is run down. Safety issues. IMHO this place is a law suit waiting to happen…

In running for worst hotel in America
Stayed in room #156. Dirtiest, nastiest place you'll ever stay. It was really bad. I can't believe the desk people actually hand over keys to people with a straight face. No shower curtain. Towels had stains on them. The bathroom was about as clean as a 100 year old gas station bathroom. Your white socks (and u better wear socks) were brown after walking in the tiny bathroom. Paint chips and dead bugs on the floor. Wires hanging from the fan. Everything (walls, lamp shades, box springs) was stained. Carpet looked like hadn't been vacuumed in months. Holes from cigarettes in bed spread and blankets. Drawers missing from dressers. Booked two nights for vtech/Pitt game. Left after the game at 8 at night to drive back to Washington DC so we wouldnt have to stay a second night. Yep, that bad. Good thing w a buddy and not my girl... she would have killed me. And this is from a 56 year old that loves on the edge and sleep in my car and on floors. Find a park bench and a blanket... you'll feel better.

Don’t Stay Here
Run-down old motel. Very few employees. Room was dirty. Bathroom in terrible condition. Breakfast was worst I’ve had at any motel for years. Now I understand why the rate was cheap. I still think I over paid! Would never stay there again. Three better choices within 400 yards.

Wyndham management where are you? This motel was sorely lacking in basic cleanliness. Dead bugs and pubic hair on the bathroom floor. Mirror over the sink with water marks from previous guest. Spider webs on bedside lamps. Checked in on a Friday, checked out Sunday. Never saw housekeeping. No bed made or fresh towels. Only one bar of soap for guest use in the room. I could go on. I will be sure to read reviews (all bad) from now on to avoid this type of stay in the future.

Do not stay here! The hotel is filthy the staff are untrained and sketchy. I tried to check in and they were having computer issues. After 30 minutes of waiting I left and went to another hotel. Unfortunately Expedia does prepaid so I was charged $500 for two rooms I never used.

It was terrible! Tub drain had like mildew, including the shower curtain. There was no soap with the toiletries so had to use the shampoo as soap. The cable tv reception was equally terrible! And why was having a free breakfast even advertised when you hardly had a choice except prepackaged high carb foods! My stay was non refundable both times so I couldn’t get my money back. Lesson learned and will NEVER go back…not even if I get paid!

First I'll give credit for trying; they did update the bathroom. However, the blood on the shower curtain ruined that. The faucet didn't work; had to wash our hands in the tub. And the chef's kiss to the whole experience was the cigarette burn on the duvet. But at least the sheets were clean...

Hotel should not be open, and should be shut down by the local health department....stains on the walls, toilet, showers and carpets, TV remote had no batteries, bathroom door had mold and was broken, would not close, folks live at this hotel and were up arguing late into the night. 'Breakfast' ran out at 8:35, and was not restocked.

Dirty is an understatement. I requested the room cleaned and not much changed. There was food smeared on the dust ruffles and walls, surfaces had crumbs. There was mold on the wall near the air conditioner. The vent in the bathroom was falling out of the ceiling. I also found a full pack of cigarettes just under the bed. The carpet was also filthy. I couldn’t stay at my daughter’s place - but sure did shower there

Dirty, Holes in the wall, seems as if windows, appliances and floors are never cleaned. Pretty sure they take in section 8's. Lots of loitering. Grounds unkept and damaged.Worst I ever seen in my 60 years on earth. Will never use expedia again.

This was the worst hotel experience in my life, staying at hundreds of hotels. Our room was filthy, after being told it was cleaned, we entered the room to find spiders and spider webs all over, including in the nightstands, a black toilet, and filthy shower. The room obviously has not been cleaned in years. It was midnight. And all hotels in the area were booked, so a terrible situation. The hotel desk person was not helpful at all, and didn’t care. We will privy the health department. Expedia should not list this hotel, terrible management. I have never, ever seen side a poor excuse for a hotel. Thank goodness for Marriott. I was able to book a room, even though the hotel was sold out, there was a cancellation where the hotel staff was helpful, friendly, and literally had to physically check the room to be sure it was empty. Again, this is at 1:00 in the morning, when we were tired from a day of traveling. The days in staff couldn’t be bothered to do ANYTHING. I cancelled my remaining stays at Days Inn and booked all with the Marriott.

Terrible!!!
This place was a dump, the most disgusting hotel room I’ve ever been in! Bathroom was more than disgusting with an alarming amount of mold. Shower didn’t work either which wasn’t appealing anyhow due to the mold. Room was very musty and just looked in disarray. Will never be back

Good lord…
Where do I start? I will say, check in was easy and the person at the front desk was very nice. That’s where the positive comments end.
The room was a disaster. It smelled like mold and cigarettes. There were no towels, not even when we went to the front desk and asked for some (none were clean and available). The carpet had huge mystery stains. The TV had no remote and didn’t seem to be connected to any cable. The phone had no dial tone. There were food stains in the TURN DIAL microwave. One of the pillows had a stain on it. There was a drawer just missing out of the dresser. The AC blew air occasionally but saying it worked is a stretch. There were NO outlets outside of one behind a bed which somehow couldn’t even power my CPAP machine. The vanity sink was bizarrely low to the ground, as was the toilet. It clearly wasn’t for ADA because it was the 2nd floor with no elevator. And lastly the bathroom in the floor was just disgusting with dirt and mystery hair. The whole experience just left me feeling dirty.
We have stayed at this place probably half a dozen times pre-Covid. We know it’s a cheap motel, but this was infinitely worse than any of our previous stays here. Our standards really aren’t that high but we are not coming back here and would warn other people to think twice before staying here.

Not worthy of the name
Needs lots of repair
Not in marketable condition.
Not given non smoking room as reserved.
But on a game day this was the only thinf under $200 a night and may have been available room.

Very Disappointing
Our company provide housing at this hotel for traveling employees. Pictures and descriptions were provided by them. Exterior of the building was shabby and run-down. Room interior was poor, with cracked, chipping paint, peeling wallpaper, broken air handler cover, and two missing drawers.
