i really like the Hampton Inn North Loyola. it's always clean and the people are always very nice. the breakfast is hot and has mulutple options.

It was fine. The hotel is clean ans nice. They did authorize $50 per night on my credit card for "incidentals" but I havs no idea what that could be. They don't even have a mini-bar. Housekeeping only offered with a 24 hour advance request.

We had a pleasant time staying here. The beds and pillows were wonderful and very comfortable. The products in the bathroom were quite good, and had pleasing scent. I would definitely stay here again.

Not familiar with Chicago at all so I did my research beforehand booking my reservation! This hotel did NOT disappoint!!!! All of the staff we so friendly! The rooms were sp clean and spacious! Felt very safe there coming in and out in the wee early hours of the morning. Yes, you pay for parking, but we knew that beforehand because we read the description! It was sooo worth it! HIGHLY RECOMMEND! If we ever come to Chicago again, we will definitely stay here!

Great place to stay in north Chicago near Loyola
Perfect north Chicago location -- near the Loyola L stop in a safe neighborhood with close by casual dining (pizza place and Chipotle within steps) and CVS pharmacy for anything you might need to get. Very nice breakfast array with lots of choices in the morning and very helpful staff.

Location was great. Only a few minutes away from the redline and a very short walk to the beautiful beach. Staff was attentive, very helpful and kind. Breakfast changed daily and overall cleanliness was excellent.

It was said in the description they have on-site parking, but actually only valet parking available. Off site parking is 0.5-1 mile away. We arrived almost midnight and kind of have to choose valet parking

Easy check-in, great friendly staff. Breakfast was okay nothing special but par for the course (the apple cinnamon waffles were excellent). The deck on the 6th Floor is MAGNIFICENT but the sun rises over Lake Michigan BEFORE 8:00 a.m. so how about letting folks on the deck at 6:00 a.m. instead? Incredibly close to Red Line for Wrigley, downtown, even White Sox connections and MAN you get out of town fast that way if heading North (Milwaukee). Finally, local restaurants were nothing special still have to go elsewhere for a great meal sorry.

A must if visiting Loyola.
The Hampton Inn is the most convenient option when visiting Loyola. That said, I would choose this hotel over others for the friendly staff, comfortable rooms and relaxing roof deck. Book early if you are visiting for Parents weekend, or any other school event, due to availability and price.

This is our third time staying here because our daughter attends Loyola. We arrived at the hotel early just to drop our car and stuff off not expecting to get a room yet. Carlos greeted us with a huge smile where he just showed his joy and kindness. I mentioned that we were early for check in but he said “no, we have a room ready for you!” He is the face of the hotel and it started with a positive vibe and it ended the same way. Thank you!

Great hotel
Great location, comfortable bed, and affordable rate with reasonable vallet parking option. I loved the roof top deck. My only complaint was I wish one pillow was firmer both were very soft, but that’s just a preference thing. I would highly recommend this and will likely stay again.

Best location in Chicago. The hotel is 1 min walk from Loyola station. You are well connected to the rest of chicago theough CTA. Especially for Indians, the devon street is 8 min drive or 15 min by bus. Downtown chicago is 30min in CTA metro train. I recommend taking train to Downtown than bus.

Location was great - we were visiting both Loyola and DePaul. Loyola is literally across the street from the hotel, and it's a two block walk to the CTA, for easy travel to downtown and north, as far as Evanston. The breakfast was good, and they always had cold water, hot water and coffee available. The room and bathroom were immaculate and very spacious and comfy. My only disappointment was the cost of parking, and lack of other options that were more affordable.

Staff and hotel were great. Having to valet isn’t ideal but the valet staff were so good it made the $40 a night worth it. If your child is going to Loyola of Chicago than this is THE place. The L train is literally steps away making it easy to get into the city.

This is a perfectly adequate hotel, but is very expensive for what you get. e.g. a $200 room for $340. Moreover, made the mistake of prepaying. I had to change my plans and leave a night early because my husband was sick and Hilton refused to refund the last night, even though I asked 3 days in advance. It did not seem to help that I was a Hilton Honors member.

Overly talkative person checked us in. Used 150 works when 25 would suffice. The suite was spacious and everything was clean. For the price (nearly 500/night), fresh towels and emptied trash cans would have been nice. No healthy options at breakfast, but free water and coffee were nice.

The Loyola Hampton Inn offers spacious rooms in a great location for walking along the lake and north side attractions. The staff is always very gracious. We have also always found street parking on our many stays.

No parking, you must use valet service another $40.00 a night. Entire second floor smelled like fried food all five days. First night AC unit sounded like a freight train reported to front desk, returned that night nothing was done no record of my report. Repair guy confirmed they were aware of problem he found me a new room.

We’ve stayed here multiple times when visiting our daughter who attends Loyola. Nice hotel with a good breakfast. Workout facility is nice too with a Peloton bike. Rooftop outside area is perfect when the weather cooperates.

The staff were at times inattentive, but they made up for it when we left an important item behind. We really appreciated the effort they made to locate the item and hold it until we could return for it. The room was very clean and well appointed. The sliding door that doubles as the door for the closet and the bathroom is an odd design, but it worked fine for us. Breakfast was quite good and included with our room rate. The only thing I would change is the parking: the only option is valet parking, and they put the car right around the corner in an outdoor lot. Why not turn those spaces into self-park and charge less?
