Nice hotel. Environmental noise is not great
The hotel is nice enough. The road noise from the interstate is loud if you are unlucky enough to have a room on that side of the building. It is very difficult to sleep.

The amount of money I was charged for a one night stay is absolutely ridiculous. We were assigned a room facing the highway, and let me warn you if you are a light sleeper like I am ask for another room. The constant noise of the semi trucks barreling past, made for a very short night. Secondly, why would the staff rent out a room, which has had prior water damage. The room smelled musty when we entered, but we chalked it off to it being closed up. When we were getting ready for the night, I noticed the door panel at the bottom rolling up (water damage) the baseboards were discolored (water damage) and there what looked to be dark stains where the baseboards meet. I am highly allergic to mold, and left the next day with a headache, coughing and stuffy nose. Charging $174 for that dump is beyond me. When I brought this up to the staff member she seemed very disinterested and lamely announced she would let management know. Also, the side door to the hotel was not secured. Every time we would walk by I would pull it shut, and not a couple hours later it was open again. This made me feel unsafe, as anyone could enter the building and use the stairs. This I brought up to the gentleman working the night shift, but he was more into his phone than checking on the door, or taking notes. Would I stay there again? Absolutely positively not. Buyer beware!

This place deserves a 100 out of 10. The accommodations are well appointed and spacious. Everything is new and very clean. Reception was pleasant and efficient. We are frequent travelers and couldn’t be more pleased.

Hotel Entry/ hallway was dirty. Glasses dirty in cabinet, crack in the room ceiling with paint discoloration. Provided us a with handicap room right next to the elevator and would offer no other room. Indicated they would have adjusted our room rate but would not/could not because we booked through Expedia! We are very dissatisfied.

Awesome place close to the airport with great staf
What a gem!! Super clean, incredible staff. Shout out to Kiersten who went above and beyond to make our large family comfortable. Pool is clean and wonderfully warm. Breakfast was good too. Airport shuttle was on time and efficient. Would absolutely recommend this hotel and it’s friendly staff.

Good option for airport convenience
Clean and fairly comfortable option located very close to MCI. Shower was great and shuttle (which ran regularly) provided very convenient access to multiple areas. Service at Front Desk could be more pleasant and warm. * Note: Bonvoy Members are not recognized or acknowledged at this unit.

Pleasant Short Stay
I had a one night stay at the Towneplace Suites, Kansas City, MO. due to flight delays. Shuttle service available to and from the airport. The staff were really wonderful.
The bed was very comfortable. Would definitely stay there again.

The hotel was as expected for the price and reputation, except that the same overnight clerk at both 9am and 5am was just terrible.
They were in a miserable mood, but more likely they were also a miserable person in general. They made zero effort to be friendly. They may have been crying or were very sick, so who knows what's going on there.
Sample: When I checked out, they asked if I wanted a receipt. I declined, and they went back to typing on their computer. I waited for a minute, expecting they were filling out a form and there would be some kind of confirmation that the transaction was complete. I eventually asked if that was all, and they snottily said yes. Wow!
I didn't lose any sleep over it, and my general experience was good, but I just can't believe this person found their way into the customer service industry.

Clerk with an attitude
Hotel was very clean and quiet. Night clerk was awesome. The female clerk innthe morning. Lazy and bad attitude. Management needs to have some re-training or discipline with this one.

Room exceeded expectations. Not just clean but everything seemed new and well designed. One dead light bulb (that I didn’t need to use) was the only imperfection. Very nicely appointed with a full kitchen. I’m impressed.

I never leave revieiws but this one was a must. Fisrt thing was the place was so clean...so quiet and the rooms were so nice. The staff from the moment i got there was nothing but attentive and helpful. This hotel is highly reccomended.

Booking this hotel I was nervous because it only had 9 reviews and they were all great…but once I got there it was great! Polite staff, spacious super clean rooms. We called down to the front desk for extra pillows for our pull out bed & we had them with in 5 mins. We had a party of 11 & they made sure we were all on the same floor. Breakfast was even hot & fresh! I feel like most hotels stays you can usually say one bad thing you didn’t like about the hotel..but I don’t have one thing bad to say. We will definitely be back!

I stayed two night. The cleaners did not make my bed or even enter the room to tidy up. For $150 a night I expect the bed to be made.
Also, the walls are thin, the doors are set so they slam shut and the property is located next to a highway. If you're a light sleeper this hotel is not the one for you.
The breakfast wasn't very good. The scrambled eggs are laden with salt and so are the sausage patties. There wasn't much more available aside from those two things (yogurt and cereal).
This place is definitely not worth $150 per night.

We’ve traveled every weekend since February. This is one of the best places we’ve stayed. The front desk staff was super friendly. Room was clean and spacious. Bed was comfortable and shower was spacious. The only downfall was the bathroom door was right at the bed. Other than that, it was perfect. It’s close to the airport.
