The property was nice and clean. I was greeted by friendly staff. The room was the only problem. My room was poolside and the slider to go out was broke and wouldn’t slide back into a locking position. Took me a while but I finally got it to close and lock. My room must have been next to the laundry room or utility room it was noisy most of the night.

The place had a horrible odor. Almost like something moldy…..not really sure what the smell was. I called front desk and they brought me an odor eliminator spray but not even that worked.

Paper thin walls so you hear everything from other rooms! Had to move rooms at midnight due to party on the floor.
Aside from that it’s a good place for kids and teens.

The staff, notably AJ front desk lady and her manager Dean are aweful. The heat in the room would not turn off at about 4sm. The phone in the room was not functional. I found old underwear or something under heater while looking for a power cord. Finally I went to my truck to retrieve my cell phone. I was insulted and riticuled when I reported the incident To AJ. After asking to speak to a manager Dean appeared. No better from him. In fact he threatened to call the police on me and kicked my daughter and I out at 0600 in the morning after I insisted he comp or nights stay. I guess it’s not ok to complain about this property to management. The room was uninhabitable due to excessive heat anyway. I stay in hotels very often with my business. This was a last minute reservation/trip. Big mistake staying her, no sleep, zero respect or responsibility from management or staff. I still have not been able to contact the on site manager Neel after calling several times and writing him a detailed email. Ive found that there are much better facilities in this area. Wyndham hotels makes it difficult to contact anyone when there is a problem. If I owed this property I would want to know if my guests had an experience with my staff as I did. Completely unacceptable behavior from staff

It’s just sad that a nice property like this has been renovated so sloppily. The silicone seal around the tub looks like it was applied by a 3 year old, making it difficult to clean and leaving a guest feel gross. Same with the seal around the wall base to the tile floor. So, although the location, price and service was fine, the property felt downgraded.

Our room had an extremely slow shower drain so we were standing in a couple inches of water during and after showers. Staff were advised and said would have maintenance staff look into it.

Our go to place
My husband has had several surgeries, and we always stay here due to the staff who have always done their very best to accommodate us and the location is close to the hospital. The room has everything needed. We have never used the pool or hot tub so I can not comment on that.

Every aspect of my stay was clean: lobby, room, stairwells, breakfast area, pool area. The fitness room was available but I opted for a pleasant 4 mile walk in the area at 7 a.m. For this type of motel, the breakfast was nice (eggs, sausage, DIY pancakes!) and the staff stocking it were very welcoming. The TV, wifi, and in-room coffee machine worked. The only thing I personally would have changed was the size of pillows. They had 4 small square pillows rather than traditional bed pillows. This will probably become my go-to for trips to Mesa.

Hotel was decent, decent rooms, cleanliness, etc.
One major problem: no breakfast until 7a. Most business and family adventures start before 7a - no opportunity to eat before leaving for the day. Unfortunate.

Great value / comfortable stay
This is a great property to stay for a few days, it is maintained fairly well and provides basic amenities.
The parking lot has plenty of room for overnight parking and very well lit.
The price makes it a great value and the breakfast bar is good.
I've always had friendly interactions with the staff and they are very pleasant.

The entire staff at this hotel is amazing, especially Dean at the front counter. Breakfast is three hours long and is always stocked and kept very clean.

No place to put soap or shampoo in walk-in shower.
I would say overall it was very good! I am recovering from an accident, so I’m getting around on a knee scooter. The gentleman at the front desk offered me a room with a walk-in shower and shower chair which was very helpful! The only criticism I have is that the shower had no shelf or soap holder to put soap and shampoo on which was annoying because then I just had to lay them on my lap trying not to let them fall.
Otherwise, my stay was comfortable.

Quick overnighter
Stayed here for a night. Very easy to find. Lots of parking close to entry. Gave us ourrequested room on the floor. The manager was very friendly and helpful. Our room was quiet, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was sumple but good. Very clean. Would recommend.

Stay was great. Manager was very helpful and accommodating. We had traveled 25 hours straight. Only issues we had was not much variety for breakfast. It was the same thing everyday for a week. Would have liked a little more variety. Also not enough towels for the number of people in the room and on reservations.

This hotel feels like lipstick on a pig. Attempts to dress up an older hotel with some recent updates, mostly in the lobby. Our room was mostly clean (but strands of hair on the towels) with soft, comfy beds, a mini fridge, and microwave. The bathroom was very small & aging, with an incredibly loud fan and a light switch that was punched out. You can hear guests in the hallway but fortunately, the hotel didn't seem busy on this weekday night. I mostly booked this hotel for the pool & free breakfast. The previous grab & go breakfast (that existed during pandemic times) has been replaced with a proper hot breakfast. The food is mediocre; mostly all pre-prepared. The pool courtyard looks nice with towering palms. If you enjoy polar bear dipping like I do, you'll love this pool! To be clear, it's unheated and ice cold. I went in but no one else in my family was brave enough. The hot tub was not much warmer than bath water. The jets are barely on and the tiling is in dire need of repair. It was also filthy with piles of dirt in the corners. The fitness room is small but serviceable with almost a dozen fitness equipment items. This is a nice addition if you like to use the gym while you travel. Be careful with the pool gate around young kids; it's quite heavy and will slam shut - it landed on the back of my foot as I left. Ouch! All in all, this "hotel" could benefit from some extra care and attention. It was definitely over priced for what we paid and experienced.

Beds way too soft. Clock and floor lamps not plugged in. It was (quite obviously) a former Days Inn. Time for a remodel and change the logo/signage. Not emblematic of a Wyngate hotel.

Very Accommodating
My husband has had to have several surgeries and his doctor is in Mesa . This hotel is very accommodating and close to stores , restaurants and the hospital. They have always been very nice even when we need to reschedule. We will be staying here every time we can.

Pulling up to the property it looked dated but once I got inside I was pleasantly surprised. The check in clerk was nice and it was super fast. The room was clean and my family and I slept quite well. My son loved the staircase you could take from the second floor to the lobby.

Hotel was in a good location. Check in was fast and easy and friendly service. Room was nice and bed and pillows were comfortable. The blackout curtains worked as we had no light coming into our room in the morning. Our only complaints were the counter holding the microwave and coffeepot was dusty and the coffeepot had an old filter in it from previous customer. Also, the tub was a bit slippery although it had a anti slip mat in it. Bathtub and bathroom walls needed a good wiping down as well.

Basic Necessities / Great Value
I was happily surprised by the quality of our stay. From the onset it appeared to be a basic location without any amenities - but it's all there, just without frills and unnecessary extras. A very comfortable room, hot breakfast, and friendly staff made this a very comfortable stay and a great value for the price. We will certainly be back in the future.

This is a very clean hotel, I was very impressed. Room was very comfortable and decorated nicely. Chose because of close proximity to my training but would stay here again. For price range, this is a great place to stay and a step above others when it comes to cleanliness and general
Appearance and upkeep. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Had poolside room. Pool temp felt a little cool to me so didn’t use it but did use the hot tub and fitness room, breakfast is grab and go so not much but there is a Waffle House and Starbucks right next door too. Felt safe here and lots of stores close by. Walmart just a block or so down.

Everything was good the beds were comfortable, we went to the pool and hottub and relaxed. My only problem was the ac unit. My ac unit would only blow normal air like a fan. There was error that was displayed on the unit and i told the lady at the front desk. She was more then nice, was going to offer me some money back but because i booked through a 3rd party she couldnt. Then she offered me another room but because i was pool side there was no other rooms available. I didnt want to switch rooms since i paid more for pool side. The room was managable if i laid right next to the ac but i wosh the ac worked.

Stayed one night here with my family. Staff was very friendly from start to end. The rooms were very spacious and we loved how cold the rooms got and that there was a microwave and fridge in the room. Lots of parking. A very good room for the price. Only negative was that the bathrooms could have been a little more cleaner. Would definitely stay here again.

Clean & Well Staffed, Poor Maintenance Planning
Our stay was last minute due to AC issues at our home. The only issue we had during our three night stay was on our final morning (this morning) at 7:15am there were landscape crews drilling, digging and being extremely loud outside our room to where it was impossible to sleep. I work until 4:00am so to be woken up that early was very frustrating. I ended up packing and leaving an hour later due to the noise.
