The hotel itself is very nice- spacious rooms and helpful team. I had a professional conference at the hotel so that was very convenient.
The problem I had is that the restaurant/bar across the street was unbeleivably loud into the wee hours. I cannot believe there isn't a noise ordinance against this. The noise kept me up until midnight both Friday and Saturday, even with white noise blasting. I reported this issue to the front desk and they said they would "try to contact the restaurant but that they couldn't guarantee the music would be turned down." I looked at the bar's reviews and I'm not the only one who has experienced this.
If I stay again, I will ask to stay in a room opposite to that noisy bar.

Good place for Clearwater Beach

The staff was friendly and accommodating in response to our needs. Although it was a chilly January getaway, the hot tub was warm, and the fellow guests were friendly.
There are many great restaurants in the area, and the shops are a welcome distraction to the on-site activities. We have returned a handful of times, and we were never disappointed.

It is always wonderful to come to a hotel that doesn't make you wait for an early check in and doesn't charge you for a late check out. We enjoyed it immensely!

Likes: Clean room. View of beach and pool. Elliptical machines were fantastic.
Dislikes: All same coffee pods in room, need more variety. No microwave in room. ALL MOVIES were charged $26.99 plus tax unless you accessed movies of your streaming services on phone. Had live TV. The dryer started smoking once plugged in and was replaced. Access to sauna or steam room was denied-only accessible if you bought a SPA service. The on site store was jammed in too small a space and needs a larger space with more choices. The pool was very dirty. I saw many many people in the hot tub all hours including 2am. I cleaned pools as a teen and I know what a pool should look like living in FL. The pool is too small for the property. There should be a lap pool as well or a graded slope pool for little ones. NO MAP OF THE PROPERTY available. Staff was working hard with what they had.

Other than pool bar staff, (who were great!) every other interaction fell flat. Especially at Escapades. Not at all friendly. Actually a little nasty. And I tried that bar 3 times before I gave up on them.
Rooms were clean. Pool area was not, but it was a very busy area with lots of young families. So lots of sticky stuff around. The main restaurant was really great. Ocean something? Our server was lovely. Food was also really great.

We had an amazing stay. My only minor complaint is that the pool and surrounding sitting areas had empty cups and cans even early in the morning. We werent allowed to sit in the pool area because of "clean up" however it didnt seem to get cleaned up. The only other negative was the small size of the pool for the amount of guests they can accomodate.
The staff at the hotel and the restaurants were very friendly. We had nothing but pleasant encounters with them.

The price of valet was 35. With an attached 35. Resort fee. That wasn’t something disclosed to us, or I would have chosen somewhere to stay. Because 70. Is a ridiculous price to have a car parked by valet. I do wished there were more than one hot tub, could never enjoy it because it was always packed even late night. But the good parts of the property was the location and walkable to all the hot spots. Loved the comfy bed.

Check in was quick and easy, we had to ask about our prepaid breakfast. They gave us a letter to show everyday to the server, which i thought was inconvenient to carry every morning. We loved the room key bracelets. Room was nice nothing spectacular.

The Wyndham is the place to stay for sure! Right next to Pier 60. Great stay for our first visit to Clearwater. Many restaurants and downtown are in east walking distance. My wife and I really enjoyed our stay.
Pool is open until 3am which is nice if you want a late night dip.

The cleanliness and staff are amazing. The location is great. You can walk to everything without needing a car. The pool area has an great view of the beach and Gulf of Mexico. The only thing we found disappointing was the bed. It was extremely uncomfortable and after spending 8 nights on it I felt like i got hit by a car. This was the only reason for not getting a 5 star review. When you stay in an expensive hotel you should feel rested when you leave.

This was by far the best located luxury resort in Clearwater! They have everything in the resort if you didn’t want to leave! Ocean Hai has a great breakfast buffet, and a good dinner! The pool has a great restaurant and so does the bar inside the hotel. They have Sushi and all kind of other eats. The rooms are also beautiful. Very clean and spacious. The balconies are amazing and offer amazing views. The pool is huge and they have plenty of chairs for everyone. The access to the beach is very easy, it’s down the steps and across the street. I like that this hotel offers two chairs and an umbrella with every reservations unlike some that make you pay (the Hilton). Even the walk to the ocena was shorter. Pier 60 is right next to the hotel, which is amazing at night with all vendors and many things for kids to do like the playground with sand. Also across the street is where you can find all the hits for the excursions along with many restaurants, including Marina Cantina, Crabbys and Frenchys. This hotel is also near a Walgreens which is always good. It’s about a 5 minute walk to there and all other souvenir shops. We really had the best time! Best location for the price!

We’ve stayed here many times. The property has become more of a family resort rather than a luxury resort. The rate this stay also reflected that. Overall I’m satisfied with my stay as there was nothing wrong necessarily. However, I will be staying elsewhere next visit as I prefer more of a luxury adult environment.
