The space heater is loud to a point of preventing you from sleeping, rattles and clicks at an unnacceptable noise level… good thing we were waking up early anyways. Restaurant was very nice and staff was super friendly. Dont stay here more than one night and only if you have too

Great Hotel
From the moment we entered, we knew it was going to be great. Very secure building.
Restaurant inhouse is great. Nice buffet in morning. Lots of towels.

Stayed there for a night, perhaps not long enough to give a fair full review, but looks like a great place for a short stay before my 12 hr flight. It was a clean and quiet place with a free shuttle to Dulles. That is all what I needed!

Everything I needed
A quality property with everything I needed: clean room, comfortable bed, solid food options, car charging. The wallpaper upstairs is a bit trippy, the elevator could use a tune up, and having to use the room key to go up and down was a new one for me, but those in no way ruined an otherwise great stay.

This is an old property that has been remodeled. It’s one of those jobs where you can still tell. It’s an old hotel. I don’t know how you really correct that. The room is very large. The bathroom is nice and everything is basically new. But it still looks like a very old hotel. Not sure what they’re doing with the Crowne Plaza franchise with IHG.

Staff was very friendly and helpful! We had a very nice room. Shuttle took us promptly to the airport at the correct time. Really like the convenience of being able to park there until till we come back.

Nothing fancy but ok
Basic hotel in need of some TLC. Double beds in room were of different firmness, a few broken/ outdated/dusty items but the service was very good. Our tv was broken but was replaced within 10 minutes of us letting them know. Food was subpar. Overall a good stop through spot with essentials and no frills.

Somewhat dated and over priced. The staff were generally nice but no one around to help with luggage… the rooms were generally clean but dates climate control units and showers. OK bedding.
Overall a bit pricey when 2.5-3 star properties close and $50-$75 cheaper

I really enjoyed staying at the Crowne Plaza. It was very affordable super clean, copy pillows across the street. Tons of places to eat get coffee nice restaurant inside the hotel easy check and overall really really love staying here and will stay here again.

The room was spacious and pleasant, although we didn't spend a lot of time there. My husband was picking me up from a late night arrival at Dulles and we slept in the next morning, leaving around noon. The staff was hard to contact to ask for a late check-out and when my husband came to check in the previous night, he stood for an unconscionable amount of time before being helped by the desk staff.
Don't plan on taking a bath unless you bring your own soap, because the only soap provided is in dispensers at head height in the shower/tub. (And I found the rough surface in the tub painful to scoot across in adjusting position.)

Crowne plaza was taking bookings when they were out of rooms. 20-30 people showed up with no rooms but bookings through expedia or other services. Avoid.

Accommodations were good not anything over the top. Hotel rooms are a little worn and outdated. Common areas are nice - mostly meeting rooms. Attached restaurant was good and convenient for breakfast and dinner/drinks. Easily accessible from the Dulles toll road with plenty of other restaurants nearby.

Define The Meaning of Reservation
There was no stay. At the time of arrival, I was told your hotel was overbooked and that I would be shuttled to another hotel in the area. The whole point of a reservation is to be assured that I will have a room waiting for me. I arrived at 11:00 PM and was exhausted from traveling only to be told I could wait another twenty minutes for a shuttle to take me to another hotel that was not at the level of the Crown Plaza. The Hyatt House is not comparable to what I paid for to stay at the Crown Plaza. I felt that I was charged considerably more for a hotel that was not at the same rate or comfort as the Crown Plaza. By the time I got to the other hotel, there were no room service options, no restaurants within walking distance. The entire experience could have been avoided had the hotel simply called me ahead of time to communicate the issue.

Horrible service and hidden fees
Property double billed us despite having prepaid with Hotels.com. Additionally, they charged a pet fee when we checked in with a service dog and filled out proper paperwork to have had no fee. There was zero damages by the dog and at check out the manager and front desk clerk feigned ignorance to the registered service pet or late check out request that we asked for as a good member and we’re assured we had at check in. The staff repeatedly knocked on the door and claimed they charged the extra day for the 2pm check out despite that we were told we had a late check out. They eventually refunded the additional day fee but never refunded the $75 per fee that should have been free. Since I spent 30 min arguing with the staff over the bill I missed the shuttle to the airport and ended up also having to pay for an Uber and not getting the shuttle for free. Horrible service and they don’t live up to their advertised fees or membership benefits.

The staff are very friendly and accommodating. The actual hotel is very clean. However, it kind of sucks that the place has a fridge but no microwave. Also, it sucks that the room itself is very old fashioned. The place does not seem to have been renovated in years. Outside of the decor, the place is quiet nice for a 3 star hotel.

Good for overnight stays near the airport. Comfortable rooms matching expectations. Front-desk (check-in and check-out) was efficient and friendly. On-site parking may get full if you arrive late: ask to park in the reserves spaces for the hotel restaurant if this happens -- they were happy to allow this.

Hotal room is not worth for money. Bathroom condetion too worest door lock is not working, shower head not working, no exsast. Breakfast offered for room is too expensive not many iteams. Customar service is not up to the expectations.

No one answered the phone in the evening, 10 minutes waiting and knocking on the desk for someone to eventually emerge despite calling ahead about a late check in.
Mysterious $50 charge from hotel. After inquiring, the said it was an accident but refused to explain the charge.
I’ll never go back.

A friendly face at 1:00 am and an airport shuttle specifically for me at 6:30am. The only trouble was I didn't realise I had to be in the lobby at 6:30. I didn't understand the exact nature of the timing. In the end, the shuttle driver, who was off shift took and made my day off to a great start.

Would stay here again
The women who checked us in acted like she was doing us a favor and was not very friendly but other than that we enjoyed our stay. We would have stayed longer but the room was just too small for our needs during this trip. We would stay again on our next trip if it is only for one night. Clean room which is very important to us.

The hotel very close to IAD, and the shattel of the hotel well pick you at G2 bus parking.the duty manager, she is frindly and helpy and so gentley.i like to pass so maney thanks for here help to gives 2 room in the sam floor. 10 of 10 for the clean room and the bath clean. The only thing the rate for the toom is very high may be becuse the day of my check in is 31 Desmber (New year)

I have stayed here MANY times. This is not your typical airport hotel…by that I mean it is not surrounded by other airport hotels. It is located in an area more like a neighborhood with many food options and even a movie theater right across the street. Front desk on checking was not very helpful this time . On the plus side, I received a complimentary buffet breakfast that I wasn’t entitled to and did not ask for. Thanks.

The facility was good - though I reserved a King Bed room and they had none left when I checked in. I ended up with a room with 2 queens, which felt like too much with it just being me. Otherwise everything was great!

Property was rented out completely to the US government on short notice, but we were never notified about this by Expedia or the hotel( we had booked the hotel a few weeks ago) until we showed up at the hotel and turned away. Very disappointed with the way this turned out. Good thing we managed to find a hotel nearby. I hope we won’t be charged for the 'missed' stay at the hotel. I did messages the hotel to ask them not to charge us for 'no show' reasons. Have not gotten a reply from them test when I did that. I think when I booked it was a pay at the hotel situation. Overall , a bad experience for us!

The hotel is worn and in a rough area. Pan handlers are across the street. The pick up service drives erratically. You can hear clearly through the door as the floor has a significant gap. The air conditioner sounded like an engine every time it kicked on. Overall. Stay else where unless you are desperate to be next to the airport.

Our favorite airport lodging
This is a great hotel for easy access to Dulles airport, also offering long term parking at a competitive rate. Always in great shape: very clean, comfy bed linens and mattresses, nice art on the walls! We have grown fond of the restaurant attached to the hotel...no need to explore further for an overnight stay.

Excellent choice & close to Dulles
the hotel is perfect for a layover or if you have business in DC or the surrounding areas. for a layover if travelling through the Dulles airport there is shopping & plenty of restaurants close to the hotel (within walking distance). The staff was top-notch & made the stay enjoyable. The hotel was extremely clean (during COVID19).

The airport shuttle is terrible, I waited over 30 minutes after calling the hotel for a shuttle that drove off without stopping for me! I wound up taking a taxi $20.00 because I was freezing my butt off! Not Happy!
