On-site laundry on the 5th floor. After a week of traveling, this was a welcome amenity. Washer/dryer was free but you had to buy soap next to reception if you did not bring your own. But that was fine. Also not used to this but you enter the building and go up to the 4th floor to register. Rooms are 6th to 24th floor.

After having my flight home cancelled and then the train cancel, I found the Hampton to be a haven, a place to rest and regroup, during a very cold and lonely weekend. The room was clean and had all that I needed. The warm breakfast was good and comforting.

Only ? Weird thing is pool isn't even 4 feet deep. We are all 5 10 - 6 '4. It's useless to us. I don't seem that it says that in the posting.

Excellent as always. Only complaint would be to limit public parking such that paying guests can be guaranteed available (maybe even assigned) parking. Particularly for guests willing to pay to reserve parking.

The room was comfortable and clean. I could hear conversations through the wall, but it was otherwise quiet. The staff (kitchen and cleaning) was super friendly, but their front desk personnel didn’t give the same vibe.
The free breakfast was better on my first day than it was on my second day. I am vegan and found that I had very limited options on the second day (they didn’t even have their usual cut fruit set out). The first morning was nice and there were a lot of options for me.
I also enjoyed the gym while I was there. I was the only guest in there at the time, so that was even better!
I would recommend this hotel and I would definitely stay here again.

The breakfast buffet was underwhelming. Foods were quite plain and the same things every day. Waffle area was messy. Some variety and better tasting foods would be nice at a hotel in this price category. The tables and floors in breakfast area were not cleaned fast enough, personnel couldn’t keep u it seemed. Food area is small and gets congested easily.

The hotel was clean! Cleanliness is so important to me when traveling. I know that many have shared that room before, so having a clean room is very pleasant! The only issue I had was parking. The lot is small and there weren't options when the lot is full. I heard an attendant telling a person to "park in handicap" since the lot was full other than those spots. Not good!

I went on my first solo trip to Chicago & I am so happy with my experience at this hotel. I felt very safe and comfortable. The staff were ALL so nice and helpful (which is very rare at hotels). The entire hotel is extremely clean and very beautiful. My room’s view was beautiful and the breakfast that is included was very yummy. It is close to many restaurants and bars, coffee etc. I highly recommend

Clean rooms, friendly and helpful staff. My only complaint is something I've found in several Hampton Inns I've stayed at recently--the sliding bathroom door. The one in our room was heavy and hard to close. Whoever designing the rooms thought this was a good idea should re-think this idea!

Me and my boyfriend really liked the hotel, the parking situation kinda was disappointing cause you pay to park but is not guaranteed to be able to park in the parking garage because it’s public parking; but other then that the room was perfect, very clean, and a great view. Breakfast was kinda plain, not a whole lot of options but still pretty good. Check in and out was very easy. Planning on staying again when we come back next month!!

The staff and their kindness are what make this place great. They made my stay feel very personal.
Offered to watch over my suitcases until I could check in and for several hours after my checkout until I had to leave for the airport.
Pillows were awesome!
Breakfast was ok. Self serve.
Typical eggs/potatoes/sausage pans, waffle maker, muffins, fruit, yogurt, toast and cereal, juice and coffee bar etc.
I would have given top score across the board but what prevents me from this is the price.
I have had the privilege to travel all around the world and have seen it all when it comes down to accommodations.
You pay for what you get in most cases.
My stay was $350/night.
That’s just too much.
Smaller flat screen tv with fairly limited channels, no complementary bottled water in room. Figured out only next day that you have to request for water at the front desk. They have snacks available at the front desk but yet again with heavy price tags. (Small bottle of Pepsi was $5)
Anyway, if you charge that much for a room, throw in some basic goodies. Just saying…

This property cost close to $800 for 3 nights. Not the cheapest around. I chose this place based on positive reviews of cleanliness but it wasn’t the most clean in the rooms. The lobby and breakfast areas and outdoor seating seemed fairly clean but walking into our room the floor had stuff all over the floor like it hadn’t been vacuumed. The bed had 3 long hairs in it. Not sure if that’s just from the washing machine or not. TV remote was missing and there was no streaming options (not smart tv). Breakfast not great, no waffles when we went but husband thought it was fine. No real security to get to rooms so anyone from street could walk and take elevators up. At night the area doesn’t seem the safest but during the day is fine. At night we would hear engines revving each day and loud people coming to their rooms sometimes so walls are thinner. Overall, average experience. The hotel staff were very helpful and nice which is great and the location isn’t far from an L train station which is great to use to get into the city. Wish more security was added, better breakfast, and cleaner rooms but not too bad overall!

Our staying overall was great. The couch was really stained and dirty it was kind of gross so we put a blanket over it and the bathroom barn door was unnecessarily heavy. my daughter couldn't even close the door.

Charge 60 dollars to park nightly and can’t park. No microwave in room have to travel with food. Breakfast was minimum waffle eggs and turkey sausage no fruit. No hospitality with the staff very nonchalant especially when We couldn’t park never found other options. Pill bottle underneath the chair so cleanliness was not done right.

Property was a little outdated and tired. Bathroom door didn't properly close. Patio not as beautiful as the pictures represent. Location was super convenient, close to tones of dinning options and only a 10minute walk from the riverwalk. If you're looking for just a no frills option and plan to spend most of your time out exploring chicago, this is great.

We loved the room. The bathroom was nice and big, but we couldn’t figure out the shower. It was very difficult to regulate and turn off. One of our “clean” towels had something dried up on it—maybe food? Breakfast was good. I don’t know if we’d made it out of the garage without the attendant’s help. All-in-all we had a nice visit. Nothing so bad that we wouldn’t come back, but I’m not sure I’d recommend it to others. Very convenient to public transportation. This was our second stay—maybe third.

The staff was excellent. Ms Sierra was very friendly and helpful. You don’t see nice customer service anymore and Sierra made us feel very welcomed!
The parking however was a nightmare!!
The hotel card never opened the gate .
Had to call desk ever time to let us in or out of the parking lot .
The lot is always full and had to find parking
else where or go drive around and come back later . I feel the parking should not be a charge when it is not available.

Parking as a whole was really challenging. Each spot is outrageously tiny. I had to get out of the car, so my husband could park, because once he parked we could not open the door enough for me to squeeze through. Parking spots were limited too, not that many. When we returned from a late concert, the garage door was closed and we had a lot of trouble getting back in. We could see other cars blocking the garage, not moving. We had to drive randomly around downtown Chicago (wasting gas and time) to try and reach someone for help. When we finally reached the front desk by phone, the man gave us incorrect instructions. When we left the hotel to go home, the garage door closed on us again- blocking us in and I had to get out of the car and hit the open button myself to leave.
The elevators are also Very confusing and there are no clear signs or labels. We were not given instructions on the elevators or how to find our room from the staff. Everytime we left the room, or headed back to the room it was a guessing- maze- game.

Elevator system was confusing. Hotel was very nice. Girl at check-in wasn't the friendliest...and she didnt point out the elevator we were supposed to use to get up to our room. Looking a bit lost, a kind guest pointed us in the right direction. The room was perfect and the window opened a bit for fresh air. Best free breakfast buffet I've ever had. Delicious! The breakfast staff were great! Hope to use the pool and gym next time, we were only there for an overnight. Really good spot in downtown, could walk most everywhere. Great price for all you get.

Everything was fine except there was this “whining” through my stay. I first acknowledged it after flushing the toilet & thought there was a seal breach. After inspection, the noise was coming from within the walls of my bathroom & service hallway. I wanted to call the front desk but was in such a time crunch of my stay, I did t want to exert the energy of packing my things to move to another room. I have video for reference if your team wants to make this right. Otherwise, I’ll never stay at any of your properties again.

It was our anniversary, so we splurged and got a nice big room. Everything was great, except the bed sheets were ill fitting. The bottom sheet popped off a couple times. That was a bit annoying to fix throughout the night. Other than that, we had great service, and the Blackhawks got a win in OT. 😃

This property is in a great location so that was really nice. The view was lovely. My only disappointments were with the breakfast and the three women who were in the check in desk. They all were not only rude over the phone but in person and towards everyone. Very short, snappy and just unfriendly. Also the two sets of elevators were confusing at first. Especially because nothing was explained at check in. I wouldn’t book again.

Very nice hotel. Elevator and lobby set in building is awkward. Lobby is on fourth floor. You have to enter bulldog on grand level. Ride elevator to fourth floor. Get on another set of elevator depending if you are staying at Hilton or Homeward suites then go to your room. They are two different hotels that share a lobby. Parking garage was vey diccicult to enter at rush hour. No help to direct you. Painters were painting a building next door overhead door would not open on our arrival. A mess at first after we were settled in building very nice.
