This is our third stay in this property. Generally we enjoy staying there. Last night we needed to leave around 3:00 am. I ask front desk to send someone to help with luggage . They said we can not help you. I said how about if you can bring the luggage carrier. He said I can do that. He brought it in front of our room he did not help loading our luggages. We had two big and two carry on. We end up putting our luggage to carrier and took it to car. I am 66 and my wife is 62 years old. We have walking difficulties. I wanted to mention.

Holiday visit
We had an amazing stay at the Hampton Inn in Seattle/Northgate. Everything from check-in to check-out went smoothly. The room and beds were comfortable, although another casual chair (in addition to the desk chair) would have been appreciated. There was also limited storage/drawer space for a lengthy visit, so we basically lived out of our suitcases. The room was cleaned or serviced on schedule and did not conflict with our plans. We especially appreciated the lobby and breakfast area, where we gathered often for games and conversation with family from the Seattle area. The ladies in charge of replenishing the daily breakfast area were very friendly and kept the buffet area immaculate. We also enjoyed the pool and fitness room. We would highly recommend this Hampton for anyone visiting Seattle, as the Light Rail system is only a 10-minute walk and accessible to most Seattle points of interest.

We had a great experience! Breakfast was great and different each day, staff was always pleasant and helpful, room was great! Room had great lighting, lots of mirrors and space, tons of counter space in the bathroom. I literally have no complaints about the room! It was perfect for me, my mom and my daughter. Would definitely recommend!

The room was clean and comfortable. The workout facilities were sufficient and the pool, while small, was enough to provide some fun and relaxation with the kids. The breakfast, however, was not very good, so we ended up have to go out and pay for breakfast each morning.

This inn is nice but the front desk is understaffed. Air conditioning in our room was not working and we called front desk. After being put on hold for a very long time, we went down to the front lobby only to find there was only one staff there and she was overwhelmed with a long line of customers. She was courteous but clearly stressed. Even though the crew had already left for the night, she was still kind enough to call in maintenance for us. The maintenance guy was very nice and helpful; he fixed the problem for which we were thankful since it was very cold.
Overall, the hotel provided a good service at a convenient location. The understaffed problem might be just due to the fact that it was Thanksgiving.

The hotel is a super short walk to Northgate station, conveniently close to the mall. Offers secured parking.

All was fine, except very disappointed and surprised the TV did not have the national channel for CBS. I had planned on watching the Seahawks and had to go elsewhere. Also the staff did not understand why I couldn't get that channel and had no answer.

very nice decor- great bathroom and shower- very comfy bed and we liked the chaise couch in the room. Also liked the underground parking. Although the property is pet-friendly, and I brought my dog, but there wasn't a designated pet area but I did find some areas in the landscaping where my dog could go.

Pool is great and breakfast was fantastic! Staff are very helpful. So glad my friends recommended this hotel!
Only complaint is that there's mold on the shower door at the base, near the toilet area. And there's weird stains on the wall by the toilet as well. If these small issues were fixed, I would totally rate this hotel 10/10.

Great Stay
Very clean and comfortable stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Nice location to the Link Light Rail. Would recommend to stay here if you don't need to stay in the city, but still wanted to be able to visit downtown Seattle. There was a great warm complimentary breakfast every morning. Overall, it was a little pricey, and you could find a cheaper place, but we would definitely stay here again.

Still a great place to stay.
Overall we love staying here and have several times now so I want to stress this was an anomaly. When we arrived at 3:40 pm our room was not ready. Still 20 min before regular check-in so no big deal. However, it took another 45 minutes before the room was ready and in the intervening time 2 hockey team buses arrived and had to be dealt with. I did ask the staff if they would comp the the paid parking fee for my room being late and they graciously did. Thank you! We will stay here again on our next trip to Seattle.

Third stay at this hotel
Stayed 1 week. Had one room cleaning day (unannounced) and it would have been great knowing which day. Parking is $20 and you may not find out until you get there. They will put a $40 holding on your card per day - which feels excessive considering the breakfast is free and there is no other service one can buy to speak of... The location is convenient with everything you could need minutes away. The day staff at the front desk are great.

I booked a reservation for a room that my dog could stay in. She is about 65 pounds. There is literally no where to walk a dog of this size at the property so she can pee, etc. If you are a hotel that allows dogs, please provide a reasonable area for them.
The room was quite nice. I did not care for the thermostat as it is almost impossible to use. Probably by design. And it took a good 2 minutes for hot water to arrive in the shower. But once underway, it was a great shower.
The manager had to deal with a minor issue when we were waiting to check in. She was spot on in terms of her communications to the guest she was dealing with. But she could have been a lot softer with the way she discussed the issue. It would have worked much to her benefit.

Overall the staff was really great and the hotel was okay. The beds were okay, but definitely flared my husband’s back issues. Our room had wet carpet when we came in and we dealt with the faint smell of urine the whole time. The pool was too painfully cold for me to swim in with my fibromyalgia, so that was a bit of a disappointment. I saw kids with chattering teeth trying to fight through the cold to have fun in the pool. The breakfast was decent as far as hotel breakfasts go and had a good variety of choices. The mini-fridge was a good size and we were pleased with that since we had brought our own food for packing lunches. Sound from people in other rooms didn’t travel too much, which was nice. Unfortunately, the sound of water from the other rooms was oddly loud. Like you expect to hear it, but it sounded so much louder than I’ve experienced before. The shower had decent water pressure, a deep bath, and plenty of room. The bathroom was nice and had convenient features. The space between the two Queen beds and desk/counter was pretty tight. I did see a king bed room in passing when the maids were cleaning and it looked really spacious. Overall, we were satisfied enough, but this might not be the place to stay if you are very particular.

They would not compromise even a little bit about me having car trouble and not being able to make it to my check in time but was there the next day and they canceled my entire booking and kept the entire about paid for the room and then would not get us into another room nor find another room in one of their other hotels in the area so ultimately they cancel my booking. Kept all my money refuse to give us any kind of room and I had to find another motel and pay all over again

Overall it was a fine location for a night with our kids. We found a sewing needle in our carpet and we gave 2 little ones so that was a bit concerning. The room was clean other than that. Breakfast is fine.

First time staying at this place. The check in was wonderful. A few hours later while trying to get some sleep before going out to a business meeting and heir maintenance person is trying to open the door without even knocking before entering the room. Not sure why
Called to front desk and she told me they thought the room wasn’t occupied . One hour later while taking a shower I discovered that the sliding door closer to the shower would not stay closed. Water got all over the floor and flooded the toilet room. Used most of the towels to try and wipe the floor. Called to service desk and told them about the problem. She told me she was sending their maintenance person to fix the problem and replace the towels. Guy came in looked at the door Told me it was a building problem and there was nothing he could do to fix it. Towels were never replaced. Called front desk to request a diferente room but they told me they were sold out. I end up leaving the hotel and booked a direct hotel. Very disappointed will not ever comeback.

Almost gave 5 stars. Location was great, food was good, staff was super friendly, and the rooms were clean! The only downfall is that you can only lower the room temp by two degrees. So if you are a hot sleeper, it may be a bit uncomfortable.

My one night stay for my corgi was an extra $75! My corgi also found candy under the bed leftover from the last occupants. The noise from the shower in the room above ours could also be heard (water dripping through the pipes).

Loved the room, staff and breakfast.
Finding the place, only by accident, managed to turn my
head and saw your sign on the ground - we thought the building was a tech business - didn't look like a Hampton.
Suggest a big sign somewhere to let people know where you are. We were ready to look elsewhere before noticing the low ground sign.

I was concerned when I saw that the hotel was near the 5 freeway. My concern was unwarranted. We stayed in a room on the street facing the freeway and it was peaceful and quiet all night.
The room was very clean and the beds incredibly comfortable.
Breakfast in the morning was varied and tasty. The front office staff was friendly and helpful. I would n highly recommend this property.

Clean and solid for budget-conscious travelers
Convenient location for where we needed to go. Friendly staff and useful business office. No frills, but good for travelers looking for solid accommodations close to the center of town. Note, all the balconies are facing I-5, and on the upper floors you hear the roof-mounted building A/C go on during the night, so maybe not the best for light sleepers.
