Oh my God. I checked out within 15 minutes of arrival and went to another hotel. I have NEVER seen such a filthy, dreary, dusty, gross hotel in my life. I travel frequently and will never stay in a Days Inn again. The floors were dirty and dusty. The drop ceiling had water stains and who knows what on it. The bathroom was not clean. The room was dark and depressing. There were STAINS all over the BEDSPREAD. The entire room made me want to throw up. The entire place was a nightmare.

The manager [name has been redacted due to a Expedia requirement] was extremely rude and disrespectful to a client we housed at this establishment. She was immediately vile towards the client and when the client phoned the cardholder, our company, she refused to speak to rectify any harm done -- which was none. She instead insisted she has worked there for 25 years and "doesn't care" about her customer service at all and ensured us that no one will fire her for her negative actions. We immediately cancelled our reservation and will refuse to house any clients at Days Inn Wyndham Oyster Point moving forward.

The worst hotel ever. After seeing the room we left immediately. Will request refund. Dryers in the parking lot and even the ceiling was falling down in the bathroom which was covered in mold. Absolutely sketchy!!!

The staff was very friendly. But the only thing I would complain about is the strong smell of marijuana constantly in the lobby and even seeping through my non smoking room. I have asthma and it sometimes affected my breathing.

Beware
Reserved a nonsmoking room and soon as I opened the door I could smell smoke. The towels were dirty and when I asked for new ones the maid had an attitude. To top it off for breakfast you had to put the waffles in a toaster.

I have stayed at this hotel for many years when i visit virginia , my stay this time was horrible and i will never comeback , i was given a room that the furniture was covered in dog hair , their were roaches crawling around , the bathroom shower and floor was dirty , when i booked the room i had no idea that my 83 year old mother was going to be with me, I asked for a handicap room when i went in the room 347 that i was assigned to and the bed was to high for my mother , I was offered a king size room on the 1st floor with the same tall bed , and i struggled to get my mother in bed ,It was absolutely horrible and the hotel had went completely down, I will never go back

Upon checking in and explaining the terrible situation I had just had at another hotel (this was a last minute check-in as I abruptly checked out of another hotel after finding bugs) the person at the desk immediately helped me feel at ease. I was given the option of rooms that were available at the time and he made sure to reassure me that the experience would be different than the one I just had. Overall enjoyed my stay.

This place was atrocious. I can't believe Expedia works with them. This place had stains on the bed as well as bugs under the cover, and also roaches running through the room. I was appalled. This place needs to be closed down and if I do not get my refund I will be filing a legal suit and notifying the local health inspector agency in this town. I don't have roaches and bed bugs in my home why would I pay to sleep in a room with both. Worst room I've ever walked into.

WARNING: this place Stinks, you have constant pot smoking EVERYWHERE INDOORS! Hallways, room, front lobby, breakfast area. I had a service dog but because they were too high at the checkin, they refused to take the ADA ID card as proof and charged me. Mr. Dreadlocks at checkout was very strange & rude! He was stoned and repeated everything I said to him back as a question. When I asked for my final receipt, he responded, “Did you ask for a final receipt?”. Then stared at me for a long minute and told me I have a “bad vibe”. They only allow dogs on the 1st floor rooms, from outside the building, you can see most of the 1st floor rooms are abandoned due to break-ins. They have wood on one entrance door because it had been broken into before (card access is broken & laying on the side). Are our dogs suppose to provide security during our stay, this is why they only put us on 1st floor? Did I mention, the room smells of pot AND a dog kennel? Don’t want to get started on the condition of the bed once you pull back the top covers! The laminated flooring, stained of urine, makes for slip hazard and the towels are few and thin, hair dryer was broken. I can not find one good thing to say about this facility. I will NEVER stay here again. You have been warned!

Had to pay early check in fee of $10.00. This is the only hotel I’ve ever stayed at where they impose an early check in fee. Please stop this, it’s ridiculous. The rooms were ready. There was no reason for an extra fee. I won’t stay here again while this fee is in place.

This was the dirtiest hotel I've ever stayed in. I was in room 219. My sheets were black, the floor was ripping apart. There were hairs in the bath tub. The bathroom floor was sticky and smelled weird. The halls smelled like weed. Asking one of the workers where the pool was, and they didn't know because they were too high. The only thing good about this place was checking in was fast.

The hotel was easy to get to, which is always a plus. The hotel was clean and well-maintained. The gal who checked me in had problems with my credit card for my dog fee; instead of making me stand there waiting, she checked me in and let me settle into my room. Later she came to my room to resolve the situation; excellent customer service. I am moving to Hampton, and this hotel at least made me feel very welcome.

Run, don’t walk!!!!
This was the absolute next to the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed. The first being the same name at a different location! This property is so filthy and dated. I could list a lot of things but my description fits every thought opinion and concern over the hotel appearance and our room. The only reason we stayed was there were slim opinions at a reasonable rate because of our purpose for being in the area. Nevermind the fact that it was a surprise trip for my husband’s birthday.

Never Again
Upon entering, there was an obvious odor, and the appearance was outdated. We checked in, the room was filthy, and there was a strange smell in the hallway and a bucket catching water at the door. The floor and bathtub had not been cleaned, there was toilet paper stuck to the back of the bathroom door, the bedspread was dirty, and an earring in the floor. We saw the front desk attendant in the hallway discussing other rooms that were not clean with another employee. She was very pleasant and gave us a room on a different floor. This room was cleaner, but there was still dirt on the bathroom floor, splashes of something on the base of the bed, and dust. I tried to find another hotel, but due to the activities in the area, everything was booked. The bathtub was not clean, or it was stained really badly. I sprayed everything thoroughly with sanitizer and put a towel in the bottom of the tub when using it to avoid direct contact. On the morning that we were leaving, we saw two roaches. one in the bathroom, and one near the bed. Also, breakfast time was really early, but I was able to get downstairs before it was over the first morning. It was by far the bare minimum for breakfast and part of that was empty. There was no one available to replenish it as the front desk person was handling breakfast, check-in, and any other issues. The only positive about our stay was the front desk attendant. I wish I had gotten her name because she was great even though everything else was subpar

There was nothing unique about this Days Inn. We had to go request clean towels & there was no room service. There was always a lot of people hanging around outside. Not up to the standard of other Days Inn where we stayed.

Our room was terrible, the room smelled musty, the rug was damp. The refrigerator had no door on the freezer compartment so everything froze. No water pressure in the shower. We had 2 thin towels for a 3 night stay. One of the beds made a loud noise every time you sat on the edge or rolled over. Last time we stay here.

Wouldn’t stay again
The room was not clean or well maintained. There was a dirty hair comb under the bed and a suspicious looking brown blob of some sort by the same bed in the corner. The bathroom faucet had a weird build up on it and the tissue dispenser was coming unhinged. The TV worked, but was difficult to use. The cover on the ac unit was broken. The beds were too bed for the bases and had metal extension to hold them. The extensions stuck out past the mattress and my wife knocker her knee into them when we first approached the beds. As we were packing the car to leave, one of the on duty workers was smoking right in front of the sign that said not to smoke within 50 feet of the building. When my wife dropped off our room keys to check out, neither of the two workers acknowledged her. We will not stay here again.

For a quick stay the property isn’t terrible. My stay wasn't comfortable due to the wet, moldy smell soon as your walk down the hall towards the rooms. Once inside my room, I discovered my bathroom wasn’t properly cleaned. The floor wasn’t properly swept and there was urine on the bottom of the toilet. The sheets on the bed were knotted with cotton balls which made my sleep uncomfortable. The staff was friendly and hotel was quiet so that was a plus but overall I’d give my stay a 5/10 based on comfort level.

Most worst hotel experience
I was assigned the most disgusting room I ever had. The smell was horrible, the animal smell came from AC, the room equipment was missing or broken, and the window curtain was ripped. I thought I was going to cancel but instead of it, requested a room change. ReAssigned room was Okay. But I hadn't been informed anything about housekeeping rules, and I was expecting to receive "housekeeping for every 3 days".... NEVER HAPPENED unless I request the housekeeping service to the front. The front desk (Night shift) and specific guest room from the strong smell of Marijana made me and my daughter have a headache badly. The awful stay overall.

The room I received when I checked in was dirty. The bathroom commode had fecal matter and the seat had dried urine on it. The tub and sink had hair in it. The floor was dirty. There was a barking dog. The hallways smelled of urine. We was switched to a different room which was ok.

We won’t back.
The room was smelly, the shower faucet difficult to operate, there was no "no disturb" card, and the breakfast rather weak and ending at 9:00 am instead of 10:00 am, as usual.
The location is quite good with easy access to many conveniences.
We will not return to this hotel.

First room we tried had a bad smell. Second room we tried the bathroom had a broken towel rack, a broken toilet paper holder, no toilet paper and no towels. The third room we accepted had rust on the lamp stands, rust and bad water stains on the bathroom ceiling and stale air coming out of heater causing me to sneeze and nose run with allergic reactions.

Check in went smooth but I had to request housekeeping service, which I did but did not receive. I had to request again for my 2nd night and all went well. There were baby roaches in my bathroom. I feel the amount I paid for the room was more than the room was worth all things considered.

The staff was super nice, however the rooms were not. Our first room had two cockroaches that we killed and another smashed against the wall. The toilet had pubes around the seat. Lastly the mini fridge and bed were covered in hair. We ended up switching rooms, and the next room was covered in hair as if someone had just shaved in the main area of the room and it got swept around everywhere. We left the next morning as it was already 2 am. The front desk was super polite and helpful and even gave us a refund.

Utterly disgusting! The online photos are not what your really getting! I check in and checked out 2 hours later, roaches crawling on the headboard, bathroom ceiling about to cave in, sheets on the bed barely fit. All through the hotel carpeting terrible rugs filthy.

Room was dated, and equipment was old, demonstrated by chipping, rust, and stains on the drop tile inside and outside the bathroom. Indications of previous water/moisture damage, including possible mold. Some fixtures were broken (e.g. bathroom sink flow came out at a trickle, toilet flapper needed to be manually reset after every flush, shower handle looked like someone had punched it in, although it did still work). Didn't mind the housekeeping on request policy, and front desk staff were attentive when needed. Iron didn't work, and replacement iron was dirty, spreading dirt onto my clothes. No indication about breakfast times, menu, etc. Vending machines didn't have water, only sugary drinks. No in-room coffee or coffee-maker, although there was a microwave and fridge (it seemed like the fridge had been off for a while as the freezer compartment was defrosted and leaking water). No luggage room, which was inconvenient when flight departure time was hours after checkout - I had planned to explore the town but wasn't able. Hotel only geared up for travelers with their own/rental car. No sidewalk in front of property to connect to sidewalk to walk to Town Center, and limited lighting causing a safety hazard for pedestrians. Not sure what the Virginia DOH laws says about proximity of smoking to a building, but my room was directly above the rear exit, where employees were taking smoking breaks right below my window when it was open (I was in a non-smoking room).

Got to the property 15 minutes early before checkin and the woman at the counter looked up at us and then back down didn’t say a word to us and had us and another guest sitting at the counter until 3 on the dot to checkin. She was not very polite and seemed honestly irritated that I was there. The facilities are VERY dated water stains all over the ceiling and walls the room had a odd odor which reminded me of a nursing home. The bed was so old it literally had a bend in it that pushed the springs up making it impossible to get comfortable, the bed was a very broken down spring mattress which was hard as a rock. Mini fridge was broken and was set to freezer temps when we dialed it down it still froze everything rock solid. Towels were not clean and had stains or were used and just hung up so we used our own, the hvac in the room didn’t do anything aside run on fan we tried to warm it up in the room it wouldn’t get warmer than what seemed 69 and the blanket was just as thin as the sheet. Not what was advertised and very disappointed. “Breakfast” was stale cereal and limp waffles juice was out the entire time we stayed and milk room temp no coffee. I DO NOT RECOMEND

The worst experience in a motel so far unfortunately. Walked into a dirty room that smells so bad. After I settled in I went to the bathroom to see there was 💩 and unflushed water 😖 tried flushing but the water wasn’t coming in. It was Disgusting. I was given another room that was so dirty, mattress was literally rotten, used bandaid left in the shower, hair and dirt everywhere.
The only reasonable thing the place has to offer was the breakfast with some bread, bananas, yogurt, cereal and coffee.
With that being said, I will not go back there again and will not recommend it.

The rooms are very musty and smell. The floors were sticky in our room. The pool was closed . I would not recommend this place to others. Staff when we arrived were not dressed professional and the woman helping me was on her cellphone on speaker phone discussing home life stuff.

Our tub had hair and pee in it, the counter had a huge crack if you lean just right you probably would break it, I have asthma and was supposed to be in a non-smoking room, but I woke up with a headache and dry passages because of the smoke coming from outside my door into my room all night long. The breakfast was not diabetic friendly. We left after the first night.

Just stayed one night passing through. Basic, clean and nice hotel. Quiet area, close to the uni. Parking was free and easy. Nice big bed and washing facilities on site plus an outdoor pool. Exactly what we wanted.

The young lady tried to make me pay more money for my 2 night stay. I paid with my credit card the amount that your company said it would be at check in time $186.54 for the 16th and 17th and I checked out early Monday morning around 3 am. Tia was very nasty to me and wouldn’t even look at my booking arrangements with you, but yet still tried to get more money when I didn’t owe anymore. Very very nasty! If I didn’t no any better I would think she was scamming me for more money. Tia tried to push my credit card threw again for more money. But she couldn’t get it because I have one of those cards that you reload and I only put $200 dollars on it. And on my phone in messages it tells me who and the amount that was taken out and my balance. She tried twice to get money but there was no more money on the card. She does not need to work there especially representing a company at the front desk.

Great budget dog friendly hotel. Ots not the fanciest but if your looking for something budget friendly, i definitely recommend. We had no issues.
