The room was disgusting a roach fell out when I unplugged the blow dryer it was roaches behind the refrigerator the shower had mold in it and the door barely closed

This was my first time visiting New Orleans and I was with my teenage daughter Thanksgiving week and I had the best stay. The staff was so nice, informative and I was able to check in early. I felt safe at this hotel and surrounding area. My room was very clean. Very close to the Garden District and the street car will take you down to the French Quarter. I fell in love with Nola â¤ď¸. I can't wait to get back.

I thought the staff was excellent. Had a water problem in the first room. But was quickly moved to another room. No problems. Breakfast area was well planned out. The girls that worked preparing the breakfast were I thought very polite and hardworking. People I noticed didn't say thank you at all for their work. I say thank you a whole bunch. Good hotel at good price
Good hotel. Good locality with all good restaurants and grocery stores nearby. Hotel is ancient so not that amazing but it was pretty clean. Breakfast and service they did a very good job.

Very basic
This is very basic lodging. There was no furniture in our room except the bed. The king-sized bed was created by putting two beds together with a mattress on top, which is not unusual. However, one side was at least 3 inches taller than the other, creating a big ledge in the middle of the bed.

Cockroaches showed up in the night. Was worried about some of them creeping up on our luggage to get access to our homes ! Unsafe feeling with free access to room and property to all.
When I looked up google reviews, saw more than 30 reviews complaining. Wonder why Expedia still has this listed

Room was Smokey like someone had 100 plus cigarettes in it⌠when asked to be relocated or something done about the smell they said they are all booked out and i can check out if i wish..

Dirty and noisy
Very dirty. The type of inn that have long term tenants. They fought and argued so loud from 2AM to 4AM during my stay. Full of bed bugs or dust mite. My kids got bites all over. Matress is very old, not even in shape. Bath tub did not drain.

Staff left bags of trash outside my door all day long gross to walk by and smelled. Floor in rooms very dirty. Whete your shoes or you will ruin your socks.
Staff is great and helpful. They just dont understand cleanliness.

Weekend at Homestead speedway.
This is an older hotel, with need of some updates. It provided us a place to sleep and shower, which was all we needed. Everyone on staff was super friendly and helpful. I would not hesitate to stay a night or two in the future. Itâs probably the closest hotel to homestead race track, which is why we were there. Kudos to the desk staff, the breakfast staff, and the maintenance man that were all so kind to us.

At night there were some sketchy people walking around and the first thing you see when you pull in is a car with a smashed out drivers window and missing tires⌠the staff were very amazing and friendly the rooms could use some updating but overall a good stay

Not the best hotel but for the price and compare to the other ones in the area, itâs not too bad.
Unfortunately we couldnât use the pool when we went.
Would recommend for a couple of nights if you are in this suburb of Miami.

Very clean room, linen, plumbing, mirrors, doors... Working electrical sockets by the bed, by the table. Clean pleasant dining room for breakfast. Nice area, pool is bright and clean. This is one of the best motels I've been to recently.

Cheap fee, cheap stay. Used plastic entangled in sheets, dirty bath door, missing sink piece, tile missing on stairs, community breakfast area half remodeled, sketchy outdoor vibes. Employees and breakfast nice.

There was blood splatters on the Beth room wall and ceiling, the water damage to the walls created openings and i didnât feel okay staying here.
I booked this motel because my house lost power and checked out within 30 minutes. Felt better sleeping in my car.

We were on July 15 - 17, 2023. The room was not cleaned after 3pm, and we had to ask for the room to be cleaned. . When It was done, the bed looked as the picture below. So you can be the judge. On top of that, there were no cups provided for the second day. We went to the office to ask for 2 cups and were told they donât have any and informed that they will let the housekeeper about the cups and the bed issues. Guess what? Nothing changed, no bed was made and no cups. We had to check out the third day. This hotel is not even worth a zero rating. This is a worst hotel service we have ever experienced.

I had a 2 night stay and slept over 11am after the first night and asked to have the room cleaned around 140pm and it wasnt done didnt evn have fresh towels..called front desk and no help..not satisfied..im a traveling nurse and just wanted clean to rest for work..

They did not clean our room. When I asked for refreshing of towels, I was told that it was a busy day and they did not have enough towels, so I was given only one towel, even though there were four of us staying in the room.
This service is unbelievable, even though we paid for a full night's stay. This hotel does not deserve to be in the hotel business. I will never stay at any of their affiliated hotels again. And I donât trust & use Expedia any more.

We booked a night here when we unexpectedly had to come to Miami for a dire family emergency. We got here mid-evening and the check-in experience was the worst I've ever had. The staff was rude, the hotel room was very dirty (we have a toddler who found an old, used grocery bag underneath the hotel bed and the drawer handles to the dresser you could literally see filth all over.) We also weren't aware until arriving, the location is NOT a good location. Wouldn't recommend staying here at all.

Not same in person...
Looks better online rather than in person. I checked in ladies at the desk were decent. Went to the room and was disappointed. The pictures look like its a decent hotel. Its way worse in person. I literally left hotel and went and booked elsewhere, so glad i did. Came back and checked out. I went to office told her i was checking out due to it being nasty, they did offer me a different room, but however the hole place was probably just as bad. This place needs to be more updated and maybe it wouldnt be so bad. Seems they may be trying little by little accordingly to the pictures on here, but again the place is nasty. Oh not to mention the pool was not open on a 100° day. When i asked why was told "i dont know". They did give me a full refund, i will give them that.

The pool was closed, not stated in booking, was offered a refund if we checked out Saturday but we had no where else to go (stayed till Sunday) the breakfast is free. Not the best but you can make your own waffles..
