Good breakfast, but some issues with room.
Found little black bugs crawling on the dresser and bathroom countertop the entire time during our stay. I believe they were there looking for food because the dresser appeared to have sticky soda residue. Room was painted with splotchy paint around the base boards. Although the bed was comfortable, the older sheets had holes that appeared to be worn out from excess use. Much of the steel coating over the bathtub faucet and lamps had rust spots. The motel is located behind a flooring business so not much street noise. Breakfast was very good: hot waffles, cereal, eggs and other options. Nice staff. One night stay.

There were a few issues at check in, then when we got to the room, there was no hot water. The day shift was wonderful and helpful and resolved our issues, and hot water was back by the time we woke up. We checked in at 430am due to travel complications. Night shift reception wasn’t fantastic. She honestly seemed put out I had woken her up. Everything was clean and well kept, but the beds weren’t that great. However, we seriously considered taking the pillows home. Water pressure wasn’t great. There is a $100 deposit on top of the room fee at check in that we weren’t aware of. It was refunded within 2 hours of check out, but it would have been nice to know about that ahead of time.

Locked out of my room, no help whatsoever, dirty…
The stay was ok at first, keycards randomly stop working and you would have too fidget with them too get the door lock too work. Our second night we noticed a line of ants coming and getting into our trash can underneath the door. The following night we came back from a long day out around town too find that housekeeping had LOCKED our swing lock on our door and we couldn’t get into our room. After going too the front desk and asking for help we waited for several hours in our car outside the room for someone too come help us. No one came and upon calling the front desk a second time the front desk person was extremely rude and hung up, informing us he already knew about the issue and we had too continue waiting. Eventually I got so fed up with waiting that I used a cardboard shim too cheat the lock and was able too get into the room. No one ever came too check on us after the fact, if I didn’t cheat the lock we never would’ve gotten in and no one EVER came too make sure we made it in.

Room was dirty. No light by bed. Not one outlet usable except by bathroom sink. Carpet needs replacing. Staff were nice and friendly and helpful but we couldn't stay another night

The microwave was disgusting there was roaches in the in the room I showed the lady who came to clean the room bring me the clean towels and I don't know I don't know how you guys can put two flat sheets on the bed there's no reason if you get the right size flashy for those bed you should only use one not two I don't understand that but everything else was okay

Horrible experiencia desde q llegas hasta q te vas habitación fue la incorrecta cuando fui a reclamar al lobby porque la habitación q alquilé era más costosa q la que me dieron no me atendieron en el lobby si no por una ventanilla bien informal al final de cuentas no pude resolver nada. La habitación horrible la cama tenía básicamente un hueco en el matress donde se sentían los spring. La ducha estaba toda oxidada las llaves y la cortina del baño tenía moho en fin el peor lugar q me he quedado en mi vida

A work in progress
Our room had an old feel. The curtains in our room were dusty, floor did not looked to be vacuumed great, rust was on the bottom of the fridge, and room was humid which gave a musty smell. However staff were friendly, breakfast was decent, their outdoor seating was nice, and other rooms looked to have been renovated after ours, so they could have been in better condition.

This was my first time visiting New Orleans and I was with my teenage daughter Thanksgiving week and I had the best stay. The staff was so nice, informative and I was able to check in early. I felt safe at this hotel and surrounding area. My room was very clean. Very close to the Garden District and the street car will take you down to the French Quarter. I fell in love with Nola ❤️. I can't wait to get back.

I thought the staff was excellent. Had a water problem in the first room. But was quickly moved to another room. No problems. Breakfast area was well planned out. The girls that worked preparing the breakfast were I thought very polite and hardworking. People I noticed didn't say thank you at all for their work. I say thank you a whole bunch. Good hotel. Good locality with all good restaurants and grocery stores nearby. Hotel is ancient so not that amazing but it was pretty clean. Breakfast and service they did a very good job.

Very basic
This is very basic lodging. There was no furniture in our room except the bed. The king-sized bed was created by putting two beds together with a mattress on top, which is not unusual. However, one side was at least 3 inches taller than the other, creating a big ledge in the middle of the bed.

Cockroaches showed up in the night. Was worried about some of them creeping up on our luggage to get access to our homes ! Unsafe feeling with free access to room and property to all.
When I looked up google reviews, saw more than 30 reviews complaining. Wonder why Expedia still has this listed

Dirty and noisy
Very dirty. The type of inn that have long term tenants. They fought and argued so loud from 2AM to 4AM during my stay. Full of bed bugs or dust mite. My kids got bites all over. Matress is very old, not even in shape. Bath tub did not drain.

Staff left bags of trash outside my door all day long gross to walk by and smelled. Floor in rooms very dirty. Whete your shoes or you will ruin your socks.

Weekend at Homestead speedway.
This is an older hotel, with need of some updates. It provided us a place to sleep and shower, which was all we needed. Everyone on staff was super friendly and helpful. I would not hesitate to stay a night or two in the future. It’s probably the closest hotel to homestead race track, which is why we were there. Kudos to the desk staff, the breakfast staff, and the maintenance man that were all so kind to us.

At night there were some sketchy people walking around and the first thing you see when you pull in is a car with a smashed out drivers window and missing tires… the staff were very amazing and friendly the rooms could use some updating but overall a good stay

Not the best hotel but for the price and compare to the other ones in the area, it’s not too bad.
Unfortunately we couldn’t use the pool when we went.
Would recommend for a couple of nights if you are in this suburb of Miami.

There was blood splatters on the Beth room wall and ceiling, the water damage to the walls created openings and i didn’t feel okay staying here.
I booked this motel because my house lost power and checked out within 30 minutes. Felt better sleeping in my car.

We were on July 15 - 17, 2023. The room was not cleaned after 3pm, and we had to ask for the room to be cleaned. . When It was done, the bed looked as the picture below. So you can be the judge. On top of that, there were no cups provided for the second day. We went to the office to ask for 2 cups and were told they don’t have any and informed that they will let the housekeeper about the cups and the bed issues. Guess what? Nothing changed, no bed was made and no cups. We had to check out the third day. This hotel is not even worth a zero rating. This is a worst hotel service we have ever experienced.
