I arrived at the property to find it roped off by police tape with an individual under arrest. I could not enter the property. I called several times and could not reach an employee. Eventually I got a hold of someone who said that I could cancel my reservation without penalty. I booked a nearby hotel that I could enter and the Windsor charged me anyway. Trying to get a hold of the front desk to request a refund proved fruitless. Also, they have no airport shuttle service.

This place looks rough, the room was in rough shape. The front desk was asking for a cash deposit, first time I've ever been asked for a cash deposit at a hotel.

The young lady at the front desk was kind and courteous. She did give us the wrong time for breakfast telling us 7-10. At 8:30 breakfast was over. Customers were asking for breakfast and they put a sign up that said breakfast ended at 8:30. There was no food put out at all and everyone was turned away without apologies. So no breakfast for us which was supposed to be included.
The downstairs lobby of the hotel was very pretty and the dining area looked very nice.
There was a long winding staircase to get to the second floor. There is no elevator and no ground floor rooms were available. My husband and I struggled getting our suitcases up the stairs.
The light was on when we entered the room and the one sitting chair was wedged under the door that connects the room to the one next door.
The bed looked clean but there was an empty water bottle on the floor and the floor was sticky under my shoes. The wallpaper was peeling as well. We slept with the light on and didn’t feel very safe or secure, not the best sleep at all.
This could be a nice hotel if it was invested in but I would not stay here again as it is now, nor would I recommend this hotel to anyone else at this time.

Sent us to the wrong room. I opened the door and was greeted by a huge dog and personal items from another guest. She tried to tell me I had the wrong room but I didn’t and the key card for room 132 worked. Sketchy hotel. Don’t recommend. You get what you pay for.

Good place to stay
After using many of the area hotels during the past 7 years, we think we have found the one we like. Room was large and clean, bed was comfortable, and the staff was polite and efficinet. Hotel was built around a beautiful court yard. Decent breakfast each morning. We'll be back.

The on duty manager checked our room and told the person to change it to a different room. The room we stayed in was very clean and nice. We enjoyed the breakfast as well. Yes i would stay there again if there was a manager to check the room!

It had nice open areas and the staff were very courteous. The room was clean, but the breakfast was pretty low on cleanliness. The plastic forks were not in individual plastic sheeths, the coffee was old, the other guests had their hands in the food and took the bottle of syrup to their own table and no staff stopped them. The sausages did not have a serving utensil so people just used their fingers.

Besides hearing the room next doors tv ALL night long and feeling like I was watching the show with them, I must say they had nice wash clothes, but that’s about it. The lady at the front desk was very rude when we asked for two extra towels because our room was only provided with ONE. While the shower is running make sure you cover the floor with towels because it not only leaked into the bathroom, but also the main room. Overall, I do not recommend this place and will not stay again.

Just the overall appearance is lacking. There’s no signage saying Windsor so I almost drove past the hotel. It’s more like a extended stay than a hotel which draws in certain types.

Almost there mid level hotel
They are trying. I knew what I was probably getting into with the price point. Most furnitures and fixtures look brand new. Quite a few minor to major aesthetic issues in the unit that did not impact comfort at all. Door and seals not installed correctly. Allowed for air leaks and sound transfer. I had a late check in and just needed a place to lay a few hours and continue my journey. Satisfied my needs. Front seat was friendly and fast also. I don’t want to show bad photos to smear them. I truly feel like they are a bad hotel changing for the better and not a good hotel getting worse.

Clean and perfect for Solo night
I LOVED my room ! I don’t know if all the rooms were as nice as mine, but it was great for a solo traveler, for one night. Sparkling clean, very big with kitchen (though I was told at check in that it wasn’t quite ready for use - as they just had it installed I think) the bed was big and comfortable and clean and the memory foam pillows were lovely to fall into after a long day on 95. It’s not the best looking place on the outside & I don’t think the pool was working. But for me it was perfect. There was a 24 hour Dennys, Wafffel House and Circle K right beside the hotel. Which I was happy to get some food and drinks after arriving a bit later in the night . The front desk staff was courteous and changed my room to the first floor after I found out I would have to walk up. I didn’t wanna struggle with my luggage. The only thing I was uncomfortable with is that they had an iPad at the desk and took both front and back pictures of my ID and credit card. Not knowing where that might end up made me a little nervous. I was told that this is to bypass the “incidental” hold on your card. Other than that I would totally stay here again! Very close to the interstate but off a service road so it can get tricky with “do not enters” and one ways if you aren’t paying attention.

Nice hotel for an overnight stay. Easy walk to the tavern next door with excellent food.

Nosey Goes through Your Things
It's ok to stop on your way through. However if you're leaving to go to work. They will enter your room and go through your things after you've requested no service several times. Not only do they go through your things they move furniture to see if you hid thing's. Terrible response from the front desk "oh I wasn't here, nothing I can do "
They literally waited until I left for my second shift. And then went in, after I said no. I just checked in there was no need to enter my room.

wading the water of po pouri
had trouble getting to the room as it had rained and the parking lot had a drainage problem... asked to chang rooms as I had not been in the assigned room but was denied even though I viewed several empty rooms... the room had a heavy smell of po pouri, room was non-refundable and needless to say I dod not stay and took the financial loss... avoid this hotel

I honestly did not expect much, however I was pleasantly suprised. My room was clean, the staff was very accommodating and respectful, and the location is 5 minutes from the airport. I enjoyed my stay and would come back for another visit.

For the price it wasn’t all that bad. Room was clean and service was friendly. It’s not the Waldorf Astoria so if you are expecting high end you will be disappointed. I’d stay again.

Stayed for 2 nights by myself for an emergency trip, good hotel. I recommend if you’re not needing something overly expensive or I loved seeing them do work during my stay. Fresh paint and all. Very nice ! I recommend pillows or bringing your own though lol

Short overnight stay to catch an early flight. The hotel was clean, comfortable and safe. Absolutely not fancy, missing a few of the typical creature comforts, but for the price it suited my needs. The best part was the super friendly check-in and checkout staff at the front desk.

The room was ok for a night before an early flight. While it was spacious and a convenient location - there were stains on the comforter and some sort of bodily fluids dripping from the bathroom door. The lights outside the rooms were insanely bright and made it difficult to sleep.

Don’t stay here. I wouldn’t wish it on my worst enemy. Arrived after midnight to a light room with the TV on, which made us wonder who was hanging out in there before we arrived. The toilet seat was half unhinged, the shower tap was difficult to turn on and off. The fan was really loud and it couldn’t be turned off. There was an air freshener dispenser that dispensed heavy scent all night to mask the odour of god knows what. It was a sketchy place that left me feeling unsafe and uncomfortable. Book yourself into the Hilton up the road and you’ll have a far better experience.

Never as bad a stay as I’ve ever had
After calling the hotel, early afternoon to confirm my reservation, verbally, I arrived in the evening as they expected me,. They had overbooked. Even though I had your reservation and had double checked it, and also the payment had come through they tried to put me into a room where the heat didn’t work And it was filthy. I asked three times for the heat to be fixed or to move me to another room. They were offended that I wasn’t satisfied and said, well we can give you a refund?“ And I told them yes, indeed that’s what I want . This hotel is in sad condition and the people running it or if even sadder. You should not do business with them again I won’t!

Bathroom ceiling collapsed from water leak at 11:30 PM. Others with problems in lobby when I arrived for assistance-no phones in rooms-and was told there were no rooms to move to. Only option offered was call Expedia for refund and drive 175 miles home at mid nite.
This place is a rathole.

The Desk Clerk was very nice.
They had 3 ice machines on the property and they were all broken, so my husband had to drive to store to buy ice.
There was one pillow on the bed.

The room was clean but the TV didnt work so they changed our room, then the key card for the new room didnt work. We had it replaced 3 times and they couldnt figure out why it wasnt working it so essentially we were stuck in the room with no key and couldn't leave. Also the fridge was leaking water on the floor.

Room was big, spacious bathroom, comfy bed, lots of parking available. The lobby is super pretty and the front desk attendant was nice. Idk why this place has so many bad reviews, it’s a great deal for the price. If you’re expecting to get a 5 star resort experience from a $70/night motel, maybe you should lower your expectations lol. But if you need a safe place to rest your head near the airport, definitely give this place a chance!

We will never stay in this hotel ever again.
I looked on line for a hotel close to Jacksonville Airport FL.the airport and found this on at around $75 a night 4 miles from the airport.
The outrageous taxi fair of $25 each way was unexpected .
Why this hotel doesn't run a shuttle bus to the airport had we had known this added cost we would not have stayed here.
I asked the receptionist for a list of taxi to take us back to the airport, but the receptionist could not give me any help. No information, or assistance.
If you are visiting from overseas and don't have access to Uber/Lyft it was down to us to arrange a private car hire to get us back to the airport .
This left a bad taste in our mouths and the decision never to use Expedia or this hotel in the future.

Staff were helpful. The overall property was convenient for airport access. Specifically in my room the shower knob was completely broken and I could barely get the water to turn on. The rooms were simple, had what you needed, and clean. Overall if you just need a quick space to rest your head and don’t need anything fancy this works.

Great location, don't stay for the breakfast
The reason for our stay was the great proximity to the airport. Good service road for access. Gas station down the street.
This is a very old location. Staff is very friendly and helpful, but they are on a budget clearly. Room was clean. Bed was ok, but pillows were horrible.
Breakfast needs a little help. No individual packaging for butter, cream cheese and bottle of Sunny Delight in the fridge instead of juice. Suprised they had scrambled eggs, but they were overdone and grey. Sausages were cold as heater for them had not been turned on. No bowls for cereal or oatmeal.
Opted for a bagel and a tangerine. Staff apologetic.

The building looked cool with the lights and the structure. The patio court to all the rooms look liked they take care of the landscape. As you walk in there is piano to play on(which we did). Desk clerk was super friendly, walked up to our room which was clean. We did ask for another pillow which we didnt get since they were pretty small but it was late and passed out from our drive. Bed was clean, Not comfy for our liking but its a bed. Went down for breakfast at 715am eggs and pancakes were ready but saugage was still cooking. I gave a 4 star for overall due to the pillow.

Mystery stains all over the walls, it looks like they barely clean between rentals. Loud music all hour of the night and people coming and going noisily. No idea why they charge pet fee when my dogs are cleaner than this unit. Almost left because of how gross this unit was, if I wasn’t so tired from driving all day. Someone was smashing an tv with a bat(??) Or something when we left in the morning

Just pay more for something else
I did not get the type of room I reserved. The room did not look clean. The tv didn’t work. I had no hot water. I told the front desk and they offered no type of compensation. I would’ve been better off sleeping in the airport.

When we arrived at the property the parking lot was dark and empty, building had no exterior lights, no visible sign, looked like one room was lit with a green light. Honestly thought the building had been shut down and that we were scammed. Tried to call to see if maybe Google maps had taken us to the wrong building, no answer. Finally noticed a vinyl sign hung on the side of the awning that had hotel name in it. Parked in what appeared to be the loading zone, took a chance walked in, asked the employee if we were in the right place and our greeting response was "Can check, name" after getting checked in and given key i asked for directions to the room was simply directed to a map of the hotel. There were 3 cars in the entire parking lot. Our room was located on the side, second level, back of section. Right outside of our door was a large garbage can(which someone was trying to through their alcohol containers in at 1am and fell into our door which was luckily locked and stayed shut). Weren't told where pool was or even if there was one, couldn't tell you if there was supposed to be breakfast served. Was truly not a hotel i was expecting from Expedia. I would not recommend this place at all.

I checked in and left! The entry light didnt work. The locks on the windows are broke and opens right up. The rooms stinks. Furniture out dated and torn. Sheets looked unclean. It was a nightmare

I was looking for a cheap hotel to stay at for one night before I left for my cruise upon getting here there are numerous stray cats running around the property. OK no big deal maybe they eat the bedbugs then I get to the room and the television doesn’t work they give me another room, and again the TV is not working And all I was told was. Oh I’m sorry.

If youre trying to save money and want to be near the airport, this "no frills" hotel is safe, mostly clean, quiet, easily accesible and next door to the Flying Fish Pub and just down the road from a huge shopping center. You get what you pay for.

I wasn’t satisfied at all with the way stray cats were running around. Looks as if people leave bowls of things around to feed them. The rooms weren’t up to my standard. The shower head needed to be clean. It’s stains on the walls inside the room and outside. The parking lot seemed sketchy and not well taken care of. The bed wasn’t comfortable what so ever. Just not the best experience for me personally.

This newly renamed property is located on the north bound airport service road, not an easy road to find. Without signage this hotel is hard to find and hard to get to. The “superior double” has two double beds. We registered with 4 people but only got 2 towels and three pillows.

I do not like that this reservation was booked 3 serums in advance however when we arrived for check in at 600 pm a king size bed that we reserved was not ready. 2) The person who checked us in did not provide instructions where the room was located. We had to housekeeping and ask 3) when we arrive in room 40 minutes after check-in there was a curtain missing from window which left visible opening
We tried turning the TV on The TV would not come on the battery was dead in remote control
We tried calling front desk for assistance for 45 minutes
After no one answered the phone, we inconveniently had to drive to front desk for assistance
When we finally settled down
Something was bitting me in the bed
It started on my back and finger and when I woke up next morning there was bite marks on left side of my face
I had to go to work so I called front desk on e I got to work
She said someone will inspect room they never did

This was an overall nice to hotel to stay. The room was very clean upon arrival. The hvac system worked as intended. A microwave, small refrigerator, hair dryer, iron, and iron board were available. I couldn't get the television to work. When taking a shower, the water did get backed up a little bit. Two minutes from interstate 95. The front desk staff were very nice and friendly.

Things could have been better.
The overall stay was ok. The Wi-Fi was down for 3 whole days with constant blame shifting and overall unaccountability when it came to fixing the issue. I was assure that this would be fixed for 3 days. No discount or applicable credit. I payed for a room that did not come with all the advertised amenities. Also persons entered my room while I was gone. Not housekeeping because the room wasn’t stocked or cleaned. It was a disconcerting experience. I notified the front desk and they said it must have been housekeeping. With people entering my room multiple times while I was away and the no Wi-Fi issue. Things could be improved security and tech wise. Overall it was a decent stay just discrepancies with what was listed.
