Book somewhere else
After telling the staff about my dirty bathroom, the guy offered to change my room. Well, that bathroom wasnt clean either. House keeping doesn't seem to very thorough. But they will interupt your sleep to make sure youve checked out on time, although my "do not disturb" sign was on the door. Did I mention the large road that met me at the door of my first, after checking in??? I was very disappointed.. especially since the cost was $170.
The week before, I stayed at Comfort Imn for half the price and much better service.

I wanted love this hotel but, sadly, there were a lot of misses on their part. The bathroom was dirty & the cosmetic work on the sheet rock looked terrible. EVERY SINGLE lounge chair by the pool was broken so that you couldn't sit in any of them. One of the elevators was broken & after asking a few workers. Its slways being worked on & people have even gotten stuck in it. Lastly, we were charged on 2 different cards for our room & instead of refunding us she wanted to argue that we had booked 2 room....THAT DIDN'T EVEN MAKE SENSE....& actedlike it's our problem to figure out.

Not as nice or clean as Aiken
We decided to stay because of a good experience at the Hi in Aiken. The hotel staff was less than friendly , breakfast was disappointing to say the least. They replaced towels but didn’t clean the room and the price was not as agreed. I will never stay there again and will not use another HI unless it’s the one in Aiken.

Pleasantly Comforted
Place was definitely clean for me. Actually, when i walked in my room i smelled the sweet hint of Clorox cleaning agents. Not that noisy regular hotel movement. Check-in took longer than i am used too, but it was due to the attendant needed another hand. After that rooms served my purpose. Clean restful and laid back rest. Thanks

No bottled water for 3 days, no Tylenol, ran out of food on buffet, elevator broke on Sat am on sold out wknd, etc. Beds were fine. Housekeeping good.

When I arrived the internet was down. The person at the front desk told me to have a seat it would be a while. I was in town for a special occasion and me schedule was very tight. The man at the desk seemed more interested in playing on his phone than resolving the problem.

It has been quite a while since I stayed in a motel/hotel. It has been around 10-11 years ago. I was quite worried and anxious about the experience. Motels/hotels have not very clean in the past. I usually stay at a VBRO but all were booked. It was family weekend at Lander. We arrived on Saturday. We stayed in room 316. It was immaculate! Clean and smelled awesome!! I was happily surprised!! Our girls utilized the pool! My husband and I rested from our day at Lander! The next morning we woke up well rested! The breakfast was delicious! The buffet are was clean and well stocked! Shout out to the cook! He was awesome and courteous!! We will be back!

Wonderful place
We would stay again. Room was very nice. The staff was very nice and welcoming. The morning breakfast waa delicious. They let us do an early check-in which was awesome we had a wedding that day. The lady at check-in desk was ao friendly and veey perfessional. Highly recommend.

It was pretty good and okay for a night as you pass through, but not the cleanest place I’ve stayed. We had a great view of the trailer park from our our room. Haha! The beds were extremely uncomfortable!

Broken shower
Typically a good place to stay but we were in a handicapped accessible room and the shower would not work. We tried everything. When we asked about it the cleaning service said yeah I can get it to come on some times. The front desk person was very apologetic and said she would have a manager contact me but no one ever did. Two things are important when staying at a hotel a comfy bed and a hot shower. We only had one of those.

Everything, from the very second we walked in, to even after we checked out. The staff was AMAZING and VERY FRIENDLY. Coming from NY we can definitely appreciate a nice, quiet, peaceful environment. The staff was so kind as to allow is to extend out party outside. The only thing that was slightly bothersome; in the room the A/C was cold, but without it the humidity was dampening and gave a stinch.

We love Holiday inn for the beds and the pillows. We get an excellent night sleep on them. The only place we ever stay is Holiday inn because of that. We even purchased pillows when we were staying at one down in Florida LOL.
I did indulge in a breakfast I would not normally eat at home, it was a special treat, I had some bacon sausage and wheat bread and made a sandwich of them. The lady who was working in that area cleaning the tables and keeping the food stocked up, Melinda, was absolutely lovely and friendly and made us feel very very welcome.
On the downside, being disabled and elderly, the gym has nothing suitable for somebody like me. The addition of one of the seated stepper/rowers like hospitals, physical therapists, and planet fitness have would be beneficial and definitely make us feel more welcome. Unfortunately my other option, going into the pool and walking in the pool doing water aerobics was out, as the pool was closed. This should be looked into an indoor pool would be a much better option that could be open 24 hours so that people could use it whenever.
However the service was excellent and all of the staff were very very nice. If we are down that way we will definitely stop there again

Great property, just a few flaws with my stay
Fitness center was outstanding, can tell this property is relatively new. Only issues were room was suffocatingly hot when I arrived, thermostat was set at 88 degrees and it took an hour to cool room to make comfortable. Also, I like to run fan only with A/C and heat off, but it did not work on that setting. Finally, breakfast was so-so: omelettes were dry (obviously not made from scratch), pancake maker was not working, and there were no plastic knives. I will probably be back because of the superb fitness center and overall satisfaction and value.

Don't waste your time staying here!
Breakfast was included, however the service was slow and most times they were out of many of the foods on the buffet. Our last day, they ran out of everything... even coffee! As well, we were not informed that there was no housekeeping service provided during our 3-night stay. The tiny bar of soap in our bathroom ran out, and our towels needed changing. And when we checked out, we were not even given a bill or a receipt! What kind of way is this to run a hotel? And this stay was not cheap!

Front staff are fantastic. I encountered at least five and all were so polite and helpful. First 'A' advised me to get on Expedia for a cheaper rate. When I checked in 'J' was humming to himself while spraying Lysol everywhere. 'C' looked for a bottle opener in the hotel kitchen when we discovered there weren't any in the little shop here. 'Devon' is in training and is the sweetest young man you could ever want to meet!
T' is still bright and cheerful this morning at the end of her night shift 👍
This hotel is clean, cool, modern and the air is so fresh ,very comfortable. The bed is wonderful. Everything you could want or need is in this room! I will definitely be staying here many times in future.

I liked the facility, looks new, nice lay out, by the pool (which was closed). Kitchen - coffee had grinds, not hot. Eggs not hot. Not ECO friendly, Styrofoam plates, cups.
Bathroom floors need better cleaning products. Love the decor in bathroom, large shower nice and modern hot water. Ashley at the front desk, nice, helpful. Room itself ok.

Our car got vandalized. Things were stolen off our car and glass candles were placed under our car tires. Which we know you sign a piece of paper saying the hotel is not reliable for any damage. But never happened in any other place we have ever stayed!

My check in was a breeze. The parking was on site and plentiful. The room was very nice in size, clean, and very comfortable. The bathroom was immaculately cleaned.The front desk advised me that my room would not be serviced by housekeeping during my stay unless I requested it and I was okay with that. I was looking forward to the breakfast the next morning. I was told by the front desk clerk that breakfast was 6:30-9:30. I went for breakfast at 8:30 and many of the hot items were gone except for a few turkey sausage patties. There was no effort being made to replenish anything. I did go for the breakfast at an earlier time the following day and was satisfied to see many hot items to choose from. Overall I had a wonderful stay and this will be the property I choose when staying in the Greenwood area.

Bed and carpet was clean however there was some mold and grim in the bathroom, the location was hard to find, breakfast was good. OK for an over night stay but very expensive for a not so clean bathroom.

I didn't like much about the property...to the point that I wouldn't book another stay at Holiday Inn ANYWHERE. The "suite" is the size of an average room, therefore it's overpriced. The room wasn't nearly as clean as it should have been, so much that it was uncomfortable. I expressed my concerns with the front desk clerk and her overall response was "I'm sorry you're not satisfied" - With that being said: I WOULDN'T RECOMMEND BOOKING THIS HOTEL.

This was the second time we stayed at this hotel and both times the room was dirty. The floors had not been cleaned at all. If you walk into a room and the first thing you see is a dirty floor, you wonder what else has not been cleaned. We will not stay here again.

Great place to stay
We stayed here on our way to Tennessee from Florida and we stopped to see our grandmother in South Carolina. The suite comfortably slept 5 adults, though the sleeper sofa wasn’t the most comfortable (we weren’t expecting much with a sofa bed, considering it has to be shoved back in the couch and has a metal frame, so it wasn’t a big let down). Everything was super clean and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. Definitely have this one on my list to stay the next time I’m in Greenwood!

Great stay in Greenwood, SC
The hotel was beautiful, clean & comfortable. Best hotel shower ever...great water pressure! Shampoo, conditioner & body wash provided, as well as hairdryer. The room was equipped with a mini fridge, microwave & Keurig. Complimentary breakfast was hot & delicious. Great location, behind mall & near several great restaurants. Would definitely stay here again & would recommend to others.

Our two night stay here was wonderful. Our Check in was fast and friendly and our room was very clean and spacious. I love the beds but have concerns about the height. Though I was okay with height, my elderly mother, who had a room down the hall, had a very difficult time climbing onto her bed. The heating unit was very loud when turning on and off. Overall I liked this property and it’s convenience to shopping, eating and entertainment. Because of Covid restrictions,we couldn’t get the full breakfast experience but look forward to that on a future visit.

The hotel was nice but i stayed for breakfast but they only had nasty watery eggs and some nasty gravy. This was rediculous they could have still served regular breakfast the same way they served us trash. I almost threw up

Had reserved an accessible room that had 2 beds but no couch. Inquired about an accessible suite with two beds...when we checked in and got to our room it was just that...a room with one bed and a couch. It was not accessible anymore than an elephant is a tiny being. The toilet was so low I had to have my wife and son help me up off it, the shower (while a walk-in) had no grab bars, and the doorways were barely wide enough for my wheel chair. The room may have been nice; however, it was just that...a room. Extremely disappointed in this!

Holiday Inn Express Greenwood Mall
Convenient location, staff is friendly. Due to COVID19, amenities are not available (the outdoor pool is the reason we booked this location with kids).
Every day you are only offered a bagged breakfast with a water, a muffin and either an orange or apple. A frozen jimmy dean sandwich is also an option. This is the same thing offered every day (our stay was 8 nights).
Since check in, your bank account will be charged multiple charges and they will not match what hotel.com quotes you when booking your stay and it will also not match what the hotel says they are charging.
Overall stay was good but probably would not book this location again due to the charges made to my account and due to being charged for amenities and free breakfast that were not available or up to standards despite current pandemic. A discount should have been given, especially to those people staying for a longer length of time and who are traveling with children.
