The water smelled like swamp. I had to clean sludge off the shower head before i could shower. The room was dusty. The floors where dirty and unmopped. The ac unit ran good but was broken. The only clean things was the bed and refrigerator area

DON'T STAY HERE!!!
ROACHES EVERYWHERE OMG!!! Call the health department immediately! The beds are awful, mattresses are from 1990 with springs popping out. No stoppers for the tub kids can't take bath. Bed linen had blood stains and dirt that won't come out. The towels and wash cloths had black stains on them. Good location, plenty of restaurants and shopping stores within walking distance. Never needed any maintenance so can't comment on the team. Front desk staff all but one were amazing. BEWARE OF RHONDA at the front desk. Nasty attitude, rude to everyone, very cold hearted. I thought for a short time it would be a decent place to lay my head, I'd rather sleep in my car. Cigar wrappers everywhere on the ground meaning plenty of weed smoker's on the property. I saw a lady of the evening 4 times during my stay go into different rooms with the same outfit on. Prostitution? I wish I saved the photos I took in the room, but every photo had roaches and it was just too nasty to look at. DON'T STAY HERE!!! Up the road 3 miles away across from the mall is a Extended Stay same price, bigger rooms and they provide cook wear, dishes and utensils. Don't waste your money or time. Supposedly the management changed, but the problems didn't. Pass It On!

Bad service and bad upkeep
Reserved a 2 double bed room but clerk gave me a one bed room and argued with me that I didn't book 2 beds until I proved it. I asked for 4 towels instead of 2 and she assured me that there would be enough towels but there were only 2. When I came back they said the office is closed so I'll have to try again in the morning. I came back in the morning and the clerk said she was alone and couldn't sent anyone to get them. I asked her to close the office and go get them herself. She finally did. The room and the place smells like smoking and the bed had candy wrappers in it. Also the shower was cross wired so cold water was coming with the know turned to hot

What a nightmare. The deplorable conditions of Room 311 were so bad that I had to buy cleaning supplies so I could take a shower in the disgustingly filthy shower. Lamp shades looked like they were pulled out of a dumpster. One tiny trash can in a “Studio” room. Zero amenities.
I had to take photos to get a refund from Expedia which I still have NOT RECEIVED to support my decision to vacate the property. Primarily due to cockroaches climbing the walls and in the sinks. Not to mention cockroach body parts on the sheets. THIS IS NOT A SANITARY HOTEL and it is an EXPEDIA FAIL that they have not reviewed or monitored their representation of this locale.
Oh! Might I mention I came here for a funeral and I really hoped to have had a better experience after 36 hours of travel!!!

Not going back again
Check in was smooth and quick. Our double room only had two towels and there were three of us. I went to ask for one more towel and was told I wasn’t supposed to get any more, but the desk clerk gave me a towel. The other matter was the bed. The mattress on the bed was extremely worn out and I could feel the springs inside the mattress when I sat on the bed. Needless to say I spent a very uncomfortable night on that bed.

Staff is very nice they try their best with what they are given, now the manager she is rude, always has attitude with guest and staff. Ive been here for a couple months and we avoid interacting with her because she is just an unhappy human, i feel bad for staff because they must deal with such a negative person the rooms are not clean has dirt built up in bathrooms like they have never seen actual cleaning solutions so we had to buy bleach and disinfect place ourselves. Wifi is horrible oh did i mention roaches yeah actual property owner should come here and do a better job in maintaining this place if they really care about their guest but if they dont care then their doing great. For awesome front desk staff except manager thanks for trying, for the room and maintenance staff we greatly appreciate you for trying to make our stay as pleasant as possible

We had stayed at this property several months ago and our room was clean, the bed was comfortable and everything was pretty good, however the room we received on this stay was terrible. Very u comfortable beds, AC leaking, shower not hot or working well and everything looked old and worn out. This must have been one of their worst rooms and very unhappy with it, also it cost more than our previous stay. The housekeepers are great and not their fault , just a nasty room and some staff okay but I think overworked with few people available to help out at the front desk.

Staying at this place was a terrible experience. There was a smell of urine in the stairway. I woke up on my second day (of a three day stay) and found roaches in the living room and doorway. I packed up and checked out immediately.

The place wreaked of marijuana. The air conditioner needed to be cleaned, and it barely worked. The floor was uneven and warping. The plumbing under the sink was exposed. The gas stove had its burners removed. And worst of all: the bed was wet from humidity. It was literally sticky and disgusting.

Roaches. A/c didn’t work properly. Fridge didn’t work properly. Smelled musty. Spider in the bath tub and one making a web in the toilet.
The desk person upon check in and check out were very nice so we didn’t burden them with complaints. Will never stay there again though
This is the first bad review I have ever given to a hotel in my life! I have had some “get what you pay for” places but except for the desk ppl, it was horrible

Never Again!
It was horrible. I will never stay here again. The room was dirty and old it definitely needs to be upgraded. The grounds around the hotel was dirty. Was told I couldn’t get new towels and we need to wash them ourselves in the extremely dirty laundry room. The wall unit air conditioner kept messing up. There were small little bugs in the bathroom and roaches at night in the kitchen area. After I complained I received no compensation or nothing just a simple apology. No one should be staying in this motel and there were kids there.

The staff is very polite unfortunately there's mulitle issues with cleanliness and sanitation. I understand that its a extended stay property, but you still have to hold to a standard. I addressed several issues from pest control to cleanliness and the issues also with excessive stained mattresses. I see the effort management is making being new and working on these things. So with the issue i have experienced i would be willing to visit there again , if improvement are continued to be made, reason being is that you can improve the cleanliness to bring to standards, but it hard to encounter a terrific staff as i did with the staff here. They all where very understanding and made me feel as thought they heard me. So A to the management and staff. Maintenance guy was very nice. And as far as safety and security i was at ease. This is my truthful analysis of my stay. Thanks. Didnt really get a chane to meet the new manager but my brief encounter with her she was very nice, she was busy walking the property that day. Levi and Rhona where great . Thanks again.

The room was disgusting! Roaches and someone used the toilet before I got there, it showed poop crumbs at the bottom and toilet tissue in the trash. Not even a new roll of tissue. I will never come back ! Multiple people complained about roaches and cleanliness !

Well, first of all when we arrived for check-in, I got the approximately 2:35 PM and I was told no you cannot check it now you got to come back at 3:00 PM
So OK I had to jump in my car and ride around an unfamiliar territory to try to figure out what to do for 25 minutes before I was allowed to check in
And then when I came back, they were two different front desk clerks there. They both were pleasant enough, but I felt very uncomfortable reason being I had to sign and date over two documents, and I had to swipe my credit card again for I forget what they called it as a matter of fact, let me check my bank to see if I was refunded my monies, everyone staying in the room even though it was just me and my adult daughter had to show our drivers license. I thought that was a little odd because I was the one paying for the room. Nevertheless, I did as I was told, and when we got to the actual room , the kitchen area was disgusting. The room was dark and bleak. There was a AC unit right in the wall if we were to stay overnight by our heads blowing and sounding extremely loud. We brought in some snacks and set it down at the table I had a cup of coffee. My daughter had a juice and lo and behold a BIG ROACH Started climbing down the wall
We only rented that room because we had to work earlier on that side of town and we were going to a wedding that evening and we just wanted . I thought it was a nice place to come and change into our wedding attire and go to the wedding, but no!

Barely a roof over my head
Everything would have been good if it wasn't for me always seeing roaches and small critters. The AC barely kept the place cool. I won't be going there again!

Housekeeping should definitely make sure all rooms including ones that have not been utilized in a long time are dusted and all bugs are cleaned out after exterminating have been performed there were dead roaches all over the room and a couple of live ones.

One Star HomeTowne Studios
We booked a 2 night stay at HomeTowne Studios and I would rate this hotel a ONE STAR. It is in dire need of renovation. Walls are cracked, bathroom has mold, shower curtain rod is rusted, shower curtain is old and dingy. The cabinets were old and chipped. We were given 2 towels, no washcloth or hand towels. No tissues. I went to the office to ask if we could get some cutlery and we were told that they didn't provide it, but we could buy a kit. The floor was very dirty and we had to wear socks and the bottom of socks turned black. Outside our room a group of other customers and talked and made noise until after midnight. The young man at check-in was very nice and polite and I would say that was the only good thing about the stay. I wouldn't stay there again.

Worst experience at hotel we have ever had. Dirty room, roaches and we even heard a fight outside. Not family friendly. We left the same night to another hotel nearby. They should really either close down or consider selling, changing owners and upgrading the whole property overall. Overall, I do not recommend this place at all!

Well designed, complete and comfortable suite. Very clean.
Hotel provided airport shuttle terminated at 12 mid, we had a difficult time getting a ride. Desk clerk didn’t lift a finger to help us with wife on crutches and two ski bags.

The staff was friendly, professional, and responsive at check in, check out, and when I had a noise issue with the adjoining room. I was in Room 235. The disgusting lack of cleanliness was absolutely not acceptable. I didn't see any bugs though. There was a pile of trash left outside my door overnight. After seeing how nasty the floors made my socks I couldn't go barefoot. The shower was disgusting too. The TV remote was broke and taped together and required 2 hands to work.they didnt have cups for water, or any bowls, plates, or spoons to use for in-room meals.

Property looked great from the outside looking in, we were given the room on our desired floor (first) and thought everything was well. Check in took over an hour, we got to the room unlocked the door and peered in just to see a room in use. Beds completely unmade, trash in every corner of the room, all lights on, and window open. We immediately went back to the lobby and reported the mistake. We were given another room on the third floor, told that the elevator was in a certain area and didn’t find a single elevator. Still not sure the hotel has an elevator. When in the room it was set up like a prison cell, with a roach in every corner, drain, and crevasse. Massive stain on the mattress, was very glad the trip was only a day long.

Don’t Stay here if you have a choice
Horrible experience reserved and paid online hotels.com prior to arrival. Arrived between 3:30&4 pm there was a line front office was small and smelled of Pot.Air was not working. No computer check in everything done by paper only payment for cards. In addition to over priced room I had to pay 50 deposit horrible experience ever. The room was small. Tv on wall was small. Dead roaches on bathroom floor. Outdated ac that rattled looked like old school window ac . Open spaces around door will not ever stay again and do not recommend kids everywhere playing.This should be for extended stay living only not for anyone trying to relax I wanted to get a refund couldn’t because paid online non refundable only stayed a few hours seem unsafe to stay overnight left within 3 hours

Check in went smooth. When I arrived at my room, I found the bathroom shower was missing the curtain and the phone had no cord to call the front desk. The remote control did not work until I un-jammed the buttons that were wedged down because the case was not closing properly. Upon check out when informing the front desk, the response about the shower curtain was "yeah, there were a couple still in wash when I left yesterday. Sorry, and about the phone cord, "I'll make a note". Very unsympathetic. I only needed the room as a place to sleep after an event in the area instead of driving home at 2:00 in the morning. Average at best. I had come to expect more from a Red Roof Inn property

Upon arrival, the room was not ready, not clean. They told me that maybe another room was going to be available later. No time to wait, I had to go to a New year party, so I had to leave, cancel the room and book in another hotel. Also the hotel was dirty.

Pi was invited to Rachel’s by the owner unexpectedly. I ordered my hotel room at 12.45am before I got drunk. I accidentally ordered the room for the next night. The attendant was very rude to me and would not let me order a new room and turned me away to drive home drunk. Acted like he wanted to fight me. I’m not happy about this and will never use Expedia or red roof ever again

Check in was smooth but when we got to room there were no towels or soap had to leave for ballgame and when I came back the desk told me they could get towels but we decided to leave (our choice) and didn’t stay the night.

Door was extremely hard to open and toilet was broken. Room was clean and exterior of the hotel was clean but in desperate need of update. Stairs cracked, paint peeling, signs broken, etc.. Staff was nice and attentive to our needs.

This is the worst hotel experience I've ever had. When I first got there, my sheets hadn't been washed. I could literally see stains on the sheet and comforter. I went to the office to ask if can get new (clean) ones. I was told they didn't have any and that there was issues with housekeeping the day before. Okay, I tried to be understanding and was going to was my own sheets since they had washing machine onsite. Two of the machine weren't working and one had dirty water still in it from what looked like a previous wash. So I just left and said I would take me chances on the sheets.
When I got to my room, I tried to watch TV, but couldn't find the remote. I looked in all the drawers, under the bed, in the closet and still didn't see it. I had to go to the office just to get a remote. What?
The next day, I wanted to iron my clothes. Unbeknownst to us, there was no iron or ironing board. So again I went to the office to ask. They had none. I ended up having to go buy one.
The entire time I was there housekeeping never came. That would explain why our sheets were dirty. This was an awful experience from beginning to end
The thing that bother me the most is that fact that they don't say that they are an extended stay hotel. You have people living there. It should say that somewhere so that people know. And lastly, they ask for a $50.00 room deposit. For what? My room had a crack on the ceiling. There was a hole/gash on the wall. I don't recommend this place at all.

Okay this hotel is by far the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at. Not only was I overcharged for my pre booked hotel reservation that I booked on hotels.com I was also stolen from on purpose by (who I believe was) THE HOTEL MANAGER NELSON. Now if your a manager and you get 2 $100 bills and you are only charging your guest for 2 nights at the rate of $62.98 a night with tax how much change would the computer tell you to give the guest back??? Well I only received a little less then $30 change. Also I was charged the $50 hotel deposit 3 times and 2 of those times were.
